Galadriel's body language throughout Adar's entire speech is very interesting to me. It seems like every word that he says is stabbing her like a thousand knives, to a point where she can't even look him in the eye anymore. All the micro expressions, all that twitchiness… she'd get up and ran out of there in a blink if she could. And she interrupted him because she couldn't listen to him anymore. Because she knew that everything Adar said is true: she wanted that power. And she wanted to be a queen. His queen. There is a battle between the light and the dark in her too. Even in that entire conversation: the girl was LYING THROUGH HER TEETH, and did it so effortlessly. And she was on the verge of tears when he finished talking.
Galadriel is as drawn and obsessed with Sauron as he is. The only difference between them is that Sauron doesn't even try to fight it, while as Galadriel is trying to scratch out whatever thought of "what if" she has in her because if she admits it, it would be a betrayal to her entire kind. And her brother. It would be a betrayal of everything she believes in. That man she met on the raft made her doubt everythIng.
Morfydd is phenomenal.
