▬▬ι═══════ﺤ 🔥 || Like a bleak winter's day, Hanzo Hasashi was savaged; skin to bones, ribs smashed open, sharp icicles shredding his collarbones and laying out his dignity and pride for no one, but wild animals do break him down further. Ever since then, Scorpion has been, and most likely will forever see the swirling stretch of halcyon moments of peace and serenity in those hidden pockets of the world, a reminiscence of a withered love still blooming in his brain. Perhaps it is the echo of a strident voice, lost in the memory of that precisely remembered moment, falling away from the sorrow, despair, torrential flood of pain and emptiness. Scorpion would not like to believe this, but it may be Harumi who leaves this trace of hate, found in the memory of all that he could never forget.
Marrow splitting the bone, blood spitting from her open mouth, and slowly, her heart turning to stone, just like his had in different construct of time. Their shared earth turned in seismic toss, as flesh escaped the skin in a crimson spectacle. That perpetration and violation may have turned into absolute hate, or such overwhelming need for justice - often misused to fuel injustice with Scorpion's demons - as her indomitable soul living within him would bring a brilliant depth to Hanzo Hasashi's effulgent hellfire. How such a blaze unveils; what once began as flickering flames encompassing the entirety of his being, shrouding him within a great eruption that would render his silhouette to mere skeletal construct, surrounded by gaseous incongruity (instead of the mortal flesh).
"While you may have succeeded in lighting my fuse, to strike my hidden fire, it appears that you are far too late," and you should have chosen a better company, Scorpion fails to add, as bitter resentment and dwelled darkness of been defeated by the Hollywood A-List plagues the demon's psyche. How Hanzo's heart becomes a forest fire, drawing its potent strength by the trail of ashes of the past in his wake. He may excessively and eternally burn, perhaps until everything inside of him is consumed, but he will no longer be left empty. His fire becomes impossibly hungry, agonizing, and all-consuming, and yet - it never seeks to cause harm, nor destroy everything in its wake, at least not yet.
"I assure you, I have everything under my control, but should you wish to dare attempt to douse my flame... I cannot guarantee the outcome it will bring." Such portent saturates in the pyromancer's gravelled baritone, as Hanzo matches the atmospheric sign of thick charcoal clouds hanging firm and heavy in the sky. While his may be ephemeral and airy, the same wisp of air could sting and burn, as the approaching cold would send shivers up through anyone's spine at any given moment. Hanzo still remains encompassed in the vortex of hellfire, as fathomless pearly white of his eyes glint beneath the swirling red. "May I inquire the source of this fire extinguisher? I am familiar with your magic, but I would be grievously concerned if Chthon's involvement was the origin. It could enervate my essence and wither me naught." ▬▬ι═══════ﺤ 🔥 ||

“Johnny Cage is a friend of mine and his foolishness tends to rub off, but that’s beside the point!” Wanda shouted back at him, gripping the nozzle tighter in her hand. She hoped the tight grip would make the tremor in her hand go away. She wasn’t afraid of Hanzo or Scorpion, but of the damage that was done by him and how Hanzo lost himself to his emotions. “The point is, you’re getting too consumed by your rage and despair! I'm worried, okay? I'm worried you're going to have an episode and just go on a rampage." Wanda pleaded with Hanzo, staring at the man with tears pooling in her violet eyes as she looked him in the eyes. She wanted to talk it out with him, but she was worried he would lose control and be so consumed with emotions that he wouldn't listen to her. Wanda didn’t want to fight him nor did she want to hurt him, not that she could do much physical damage.
“This isn’t an ordinary fire extinguisher.” Wanda’s other hand patted the body of the extinguisher as she gripped it. “It was something I had made with magic, specifically to use against you should the need arise.” Like all witches, she had the tools she used in her craft, and this fire extinguisher was now one that was refurbished. The fire extinguisher was not just an ordinary fire extinguisher. It was now Wanda’s tool that she had tinkered with using her magic, but it was still a prototype. She hadn’t the time to test it, so she didn’t know if it would be as effective as she wanted. If Scorpion went berserk with his rage, she was going to have to use it to find out whether it worked or not.
The idea was inspired by Sub-Zero and his ice abilities. She had observed him in the past for months to gather information on how his powers worked, something Chthon viewed as pointless. The elder god would whisper in her mind to just take Kuai Liang’s powers by force and absorb them into herself and see just how his powers worked. Wanda just ignored the god and continued observing and getting an idea of just how his powers worked, which she applied later on to make this fire extinguisher. Something she had made specifically for Scorpion to help cool him off or slow him down at the very least. She had some faith in her ingenuity and the magical tool she had created, regardless of whether it worked the way she wanted it to or not.
Wanda shook her head, cursing herself for being more focused on her tools than on Hanzo, who was far more important. His attention was on her, that was what was important if she could de-escalate the situation without resorting to violence, then maybe Scorpion could calm down enough to allow Hanzo to the surface. She didn't want to fight or be forced to use her fire extinguisher against him, she only hoped he didn't want to fight her either.
