4:54 AM. Nate stumbled through the back door, head down and hood up. He tried to get through the quiet house undetected, reaching the bathroom on the ground floor. He limped on his left leg, and his breathing was heavy

The red was washed off his skin down the drain of the sink but it wasn't enough. It was everywhere. His hands and face and clothes crusted with the stuff. It didn't seem to want to scrub out.

He heard a noise from outside and realised he'd forgotten to close the bathroom door. He looked up to see who it was, fear and shame boiling in his stomach. He looked a mess, his face bruised and covered in blood that wasn't his own, his lip split and his nose bleeding into his mouth

Willow slips out of the ropes holding her she’d been missing at for what she can guess is probably only twenty four hours at most by this point. She’s gotten the information she came here for and within two hours time can be ready to take down the whole operation.

Willow opens her phone after escaping and taking down her guards silently. She quickly dials a number and on the third ring you answer it. This is also coincidentally when the wave of goons comes through the door looking to check on their fallen comrades.

Felix was sat in his chair in the library. It felt like the same old routine—it was the same old routine. He already did his rounds around the place. Everything was in place. And as much as he liked to read, he wasn’t really in the mood too.

He check the time on his computer. 2 more hours until his shift his done. Unsurprisingly, really.

Luckily, his area wasn’t too crowded. He stood up, letting his wings relax and stretching them slightly. As much as he loved having wings, he hated them a lot too. They could be such a bother sometimes.

The library was silent, obviously. Besides the occasional human that would walk in, see him, get visibly disgusted, and start complaining, it always was.

Felix sighed, bored. He took another sip from his coffee (that he would proudly say he made himself) while he sat back down. Two more hours and he could leave.

It was the first time he wished he had some extra work to do. Not something too difficult, but something to pass time. But he did all of it last night.

Felix glanced over at the entrance when he heard the door open.
