Ok so y'know those posts where one person makes a joke, and then someone else gets upset/tries to correct them, and the first person repeats the false information pretending they actually believe it to try to get more of a reaction out of the second person (i.e. smooth as a shark type posts)

Yeah those suck. It's a shitty thing to do! It literally costs you nothing to explain that you're joking instead of deciding to mock someone for the terrible crime (/S) of not being good at knowing when people are being serious

It's not funny, and it's not "Tumblr's whole base of humor" or whatever that one post floating around is calling it.
