maya gives riley a soft small, a little nod. "i know, riles, i know." she reaches down to take the other's hand in hers, giving it a light squeeze as she leans into her slightly. "and i'm right here. it's you and me forever, right? there's nothing you have to do without me by your side." and even if riley hasn't said it, she's secure in the fact that the same goes for her. they've done everything together for as long as they've known each other, and she has faith that that's not going to change. it's the one thing she knows for sure in her life.
