hey is it possible/feasible/legal for all the tenants of an apartment complex to form a legal group and buy the property from the leasing company? and then just pool together for maintenance/utility/property tax? like a resident-owned residential block situation?
#been thinking about this since i live in a medium-density development with the whole block all run by one company#like could we just all network together and pool enough funds to buy the block from the rental agency?#and then have more of a community code of conduct situation & share upkeep costs. kinda like an HOA#(i generally don't like HOAs but if everyone's houses are connected and we all pay for trash collection it's a bit more important)
