His vastayan genetics being very adaptable (much like how some marine life is intersex+change due to environment this was very much the case

-His mom is intersex biologically speaking+ mainly he'll use she/her and related language especially verbally but also 'my parents are just my parents plus neither really fits an either or condition')

-Always a healthy mix but distinctly himself separate of his parents but he very much can point out where some of his traits were influenced especially post his body shifting hormones up

-Was more traits of his mother/that side of the family when he was little, that were outgrown and colors shifted with the change up in hormones+just growing in general honestly puberty for him was a whole headache

-Used to be a fair bit small, didn't get his height till late teens (it was instantly met with 'ha now it's my turn to steal your clothing' by friends/relationships playfully)

-Neither parent had the most spectacular lives+met and connected over their miseries before running off/ending up in Zaun where they ended up having him *it was a little bit of an accident, they were talking about it and his mom's adaptable/survival traits went 'woo yeah let's have a kid'

-Strong attractive genetics on both sides of the family; he's going to age so gracefully too (actually a bit more average seeming depending on preference/comparison of his parents but that is mainly because he's rarely seen comfortable etc)
