in Storm Chasers AU, Angie was inspired to go into meteorology after an F5 tornado razed most of Gumption, barely sparing the McGucket farmstead. the McGuckets played host to many of their friends and neighbors and helped to rebuild their homes and farms.

it was a defining memory for her and awoke a lifelong fascination with severe weather.

#yes an F5 not an EF5 #the Enhanced Fujita Scale didn't go into effect until 2007 #the fun thing about the Storm Chasers AU is that I know a lot about tornadoes #so this really taps into my knowledge and interests #I love doing AUs like that #(for some reason I still don't have a geology AU despite having a literal Master's degree in geology lmao)#anyways I haven't talked enough about Angie in the AU yet so here's something #Storm Chasers AU #speecher speaks
