People who hate on female characters because they perceive them as getting in the way of their ship, especially if it's m/m, even when there's proof in the media that that isn't even true...I know what you are.

#-a misogynist!#bc no let's unpack it *crosses legs & clasps hands*#why do you view female characters as obstacles? why do you paint them as non important even when there's proof otherwise*#why does this mindset jump for you with it regards an m/m ship? why do you think your internalized misogyny gets a past or is justified?#let's discuss #mel medarda #ochako uraraka #annabeth chase #(bc the early percio fandom was a LOT)#and this doesn't necessarily just have to be for m/m ships bc it can happen anywhere but you'd be wrong to ignore the pattern when m/m #ships are involved especially even more sickening when it's other women leading the charge in these fandom spaces #even more so bc there's a lot of fetishization towards these m/m ships to where they are rewritten to be saturated with stereotypes that #weren't even there to begin with #if you ship an m/m ship that's fine but why are you making them out of character and relying on stereotypical archetypes that neither fit?
