idk man something about Pleck and C-53 and people feeling bad for you over a neutral thing that you don't wanna change or that you maybe even like about yourself, just cause it doesn't fit their idea of what you should be

#pickle pontificates #mission to zyxx #hmm. hm. another thing I really wanna explore or see explored in a fic or something #like. pleck is so secure in not having romantic/sexual relationships and c is so secure in being a robot #but neither of them seems to really Get that about the other #like it softens the more time everyone spends with each other #but there are definitely moments where c is like ''that's sad'' or tries to encourage pleck to get into a relationship #even though pleck is super unbothered about it almost always #and pleck just can't seem to internalize that c isn't coping he just loves being a robot because that's who he is #even after c unravels the issues he has around his usefulness defining his worth he still like. is a cube. because he is #he's not JUST a cube but that is still part of his identity y'know?#they're like SO CLOSE to getting each other but they just can't completely get past their own idea of what the other should be #maybe because they want to assume they're more alike than they are??#(at least at a certain point.
