I completely agree with you about Sweets! His death was such a shame. How do you think he would have changed the dynamics in seasons 10 through 12 if he was still alive with the plots and characters (like Aubrey and Karen)?

AUBREY: im an aubrey-sweets friendship truther at heart, so first thing to acknowledge is the thing with aubreys dad.

We all know sweets has a slight obsession/ interest (depending on the perspective) with his friends childhoods, and that’s understandable. I can see him really helping him out at that time, and providing a perspective that would hopefully relieve the guilt he experiences after turning his dad in. also really random idea that popped into my brain!! aubrey is the most adhd coded guy ive ever seen, so i can see sweets waltzing past his desk and dropping off snacks and drinks to help him focus :)

i just think those two could have got super close. Aubrey clearly felt out of place when he first joined, a feeling that sweets shared and grew from so maybe he would have just provided that extra support for him!

KAREN: i havent got so much on this, cause i dont know her as well as i should, however; i know those ‘is psychology a real science’ debates would have got way more heated!!! its now 2v2, b&b and sweets and karen, i can see them sitting in the diner having the most heated debate ever seen and the rest of the diner is just sat silently like ‘what the fuck 0-0’.

I also think at first, sweets struggled having someone who pushed him and knew a lot about ‘his’ field, which comes with lots of special interests. (i get quite stressed if i meet a person who is into the same fields of physics that i am, especially if i am the person who is known for liking it amongst my group, and i think sweets probably has the same think). But he learns to talk with her and infodump about their theories and cases together! a form of healthy competition forms i think, one that eventually encourages them to work harder.

ZACK: i felt like it was important to mention him,even though i mentioned him in the last one, so ill just expand on this one a bit.

I just want to know what the team would have thought about sweets knowing all along that zack was innocent. What would they have felt? betrayed? understanding? sad? Maybe sweets would never have told them during this time, maybe he kept it a secret until he testified on the stand.

Sometimes i think the death of sweets is what prompted Zack to admit to never having killed anyone, so maybe if he was still alive Zack would still be there and no-one would ever know. That could give way for another new plot line where sweets lets it slip that zack was innocent, but maybe not. who knows :)

HODGINS: this is a big one, cause the poor guy really goes through it (*cough* the doom in the boom *cough*). I love this arc, it gets way to much hate. disabled hodgins for the win!!

I think sweets totally understands his anger, and allows him to feel it (as he should!). But i think he would have put a stop to him taking it out on angela, cause it’s counterproductive to build barriers between those you love when you’re struggling. I can see hodgins (after the usual pestering from sweets for a while) just rocking up at his office looking ready to murder someone (so real) and sweets just lets him talk, and shout and probably cry a bit too.

I just think the adjustment wouldn’t have been easier, but he would have had a way to handle it better and that would mean so much!!!

Related to the werewolf predator thing, I like to imagine that both types of werewolves can and used to straight up eat vampires as a fighting tactic. Like if Paul was to take a chunk out of a vampire in wolf form the acid would dissolve the flesh before it could regenerate or try to attack them from the inside, and THAT was how the shapeshigters used to kill vampires primarily before they just figured fire was easier. It would be a useful skill, and it would mean they dont need to shift back into a vulnerable form to kill their prey.

(This sorta segues into how my ideal addition to the twilight universe is the idea of literally any species other then the wolves being adapted specifically to lure and attack the supernatural predators. I wanna see some vampire try to attack some rando and the guy just fuckin eats em. Would both counter the vampires OPness a bit AND provide an extra villain if need be. The shapeshifters kill vampires but only to protect themselves but something like the above would be prone to straight up violence unprovoked. Tbf most ppl say they enjoy the small world of twilight supernatural since it isnt really crowded tho, so I'm probably alone there.)

I DO like the small supernatural world of Twilight. I have a hard time getting into fantasy that has like dozens of different creatures each with their own powers and weaknesses and rulers because then it feels more about the species and powers than the characters. I’m also glad that Twilight doesn’t have like, a secret vampire world that humans don’t know about or something, that it just takes place in the actual world and their capital city is just a regular city and you don’t have to go through a magic portal to get there or whatever. 

So generally when people are like “I wish Angela were a witch” or that they wanted more creatures in Twilight I’m like meh. The last minute addition of actual werewolves already made me kind of roll my eyes because it felt less like careful worldbuilding and more that SM realized she was writing herself into a corner with Caius hating ‘werewolves’ and the shapeshifters standing with the Cullens over the Renesmee mess so “haha whoops they aren’t actually werewolves, teehee!” 

HOWEVER, I am HERE for some vampire-hunting entity. The idea of human-looking creatures that bite back is hilarious and frightening and it would help so much if there were some real threat to the vampires (although we’d still have the Edward and Alice problem, but maybe Alice can’t ‘see’ these beings?). 

Ooh, what if HYBRIDS could eat vampires?! That would relate to the classic dhampir folklore where most offspring of vampires became vampire hunters. Since they only know about five hybrids (Nessie, Nahuel and his sisters) maybe they aren’t aware of this ability, but there could be other hybrids out there who are vampire hunters/can kill (and eat?!) vampires. 

Or else, yeah, let shapeshifting wolves eat vampires. It is kind of ridiculous they have to turn back into human form to burn the pieces.

I almost always do! Love those who took time to comment; grateful always and happy my words made people feel stuff. There were times I DID NOT reply, however, and I ask for forgiveness and understanding: it’s either going to be a late reply, or, silly me but sometimes I feel so underserving of such loving comments I’m floored and cannot bring myself to reply.

6. What’s the fic you’ve written with angstiest ending?

You mean fics dont have to angst? I’m not sure as I always strive for a balance of angst and catharsis so I avoid end on an angsty note. Maybe the Takemura one-shot? Or my current Lara Dorren & Cerro fic.

If it counts, my stupid first fic. A cyberpunk 2077 character dimension traveled to the witcher world. Why to date Regis ofc and she got there bc of Ciri & Avallach

According to feedbacks, prose, or style. Personally I think I’m ok with setting the mood. I also like to research and worldbuild

16. What are your writing weaknesses?

I’m learning to implement this! But I think dialogue is my strongest weakness. Next would be I tend to drag on every action in a scene, like A first B then C then D while it could’ve been A->D. But this I pay attention to in editing. I’m bad at summary, not good with titles. Also, maybe for lacking in practice, I think I’m still trying to figure out how to structure a cohesive plot

17. What are your thoughts of writing dialogue in other languages?

As in having a character speaking other languages in the fic? Ask yourself 1) must they speak that language? Does it make sense? If you write from any POV other than that chatacter’s, why would the narration presume to understand the language? Is it relevant to the plot they speak that way? 2)are you fluent in the language? Don’t make grammar mistakes and don’t use it for cultural exoticism

19. Favorite fic you’ve ever written?

Ha! “Favorite” and “I” in the same sentence?… Seeking Resonance maybe; that modern AU Professor Regis is a very comforting character (but also profoundly sad), it also made me happy to see it has made others feel better too.

I think my current super niche fic might be my favorite yet? Idk, it’s the biggest project i’ve tried and I do try. By the fallacy of sunken cost it should mean ill love it 😂

So, @bushelofmuses​​ and I have been talking about The Terrors and Angie having a kid (their own or even just adopted). Regardless of if the kid is biologically theirs or not, the kid is being raised by both the best and worst parents (depending on who you ask).

However, if the kid is biologically theirs.....CHAOS. That’s a mix of two different nanites. So, I’ll explain below~!

Angela and Gabriel

Nanites are pretty normal. Very little instability in this one.

Regeneration! Passive regen from Angie’s nanites and healing from hurting someone (which luckily their parents are happy they never figure it out until they’re older). Kid just thinks they heal super fast bc of the food and what not given to them (y’know that whole “drink your milk and you’ll grow big and strong!” saying? that’s what they think is happening here).

Longer lifespan but at the cost of baby face for quite awhile. No one bullies them on it though because they’ve seen the kids parents. Bad idea. Would make Wraith cry. Pls no bully their kid.

The moment they learn they can do things similar to Gabriel (albeit on a lesser scale than Wraith and Reaps), they’re like “I’m the coolest kid on the block”. They, in fact, are not because everyone around them has superpowers or cool abilities. They’re reassured by their parents that they’re cool. They got two cool dads, a super cool mom and a cool weird parent.

Raised to be able to protect themselves with their abilities, self defense classes and weapon training.

Likely takes up a career in health because “my cool mom made this tech and im made of it and i wanna help her further improve it!”

Follows their parents footsteps and becomes part of Overwatch.

Angela and Reaps

Oh boi... The most chaotic of nanite combinations. Well, on just a nanite combination stand point. Y’all know Jack-Jack from The Incredibles, yeah? That’s what happens here. Uncontrollable nanites. Kid is physical then a cloud of nanites then a weird monstrosity it thought of then back to normal. Panic ensues.

Super regeneration??? Angie’s normal passive healing from her nanites...but Reaps super duper heals. Likely, accidentally steals people life force before their parents (or at least Reaps) teach them to control it. Which is little issue for Angie, Reaps, Gabi and Wraith...it’s others they have to worry about.

Baby face still v.v but they mature at a much faster rate than previous combo. “Mature faster” doesn’t mean “age up faster”, it means they don’t look like baby in a human body walking around for so long. Still has longer lifespan but they dont keep that baby face for as long. They’d mature similarly to a regular person but teenage puberty could either be absolutely horrible or be a godsend. Like it normally is for regular people lol but this kid would keep that outcome until sometime in 20s before being slapped with that adult filter and it remains that way until their long life ends.

They’ve known of their more Reaper like abilities from a young age. Likely, having to be put into training from super young. This kid would be the more mature one personality and emotional wise because of this. Having to take their abilities and powers more serious because of how unstable they are. Sometimes hates having Reaps as a dad because of this ‘curse’. Reaps hears the kid say this ONCE and is just heartbroken for the rest of his life (good at hiding it though).

More rebellious of the kids. Wants to just have fun to escape their life of seriousness that they were raised into.

Likely becomes a soldier simply because it just fits more into how they were raised.

Wouldn’t join Overwatch or Talon if offered. Would take several years of adult life before they decide one way or the other.

Angela and Wraith

Hmm. This could the seriously chaotic one. Nanites aren’t fighting each other or anything, they merge quite well. It’s more so the outcome of what is possible because of Wraith’s many capabilities.

Once again super regeneration. Angie’s passive regeneration, but they quickly learn that sweets also cause the same effect. Well, parents do while kid just enjoys candy and ice cream.

The true baby of the kids. Oh lordy. Baby forever (not literally). They have an ever young look to them. They can be 50 and still look like they’re a teenager. Poor kid. It has benefits of people underestimating them so like there’s that.

Growing up they learn several of Wraith’s abilities because Wraith has to teach them and wont stop until their kid knows “how to turn into animals to escape to safety”. Angie, Gabi and Reaps all know that’s not at all the real reason Wraith wish to teach them. They also find new abilities that Wraith hasn’t even figured out how to do and this silently frustrates Wraith.

Well, they grew up on sweets so clearly they’re the sweetest of the bunch, right? Correct! At least until something horrible either happens or they’re traumatized.

Has the more mundane or civil job of the kids bc barely looks like a young adult.

Doesn’t join Overwatch or Talon. Preferring to live civilly. However, if needed by their parents or friends within Overwatch, they’d help out.

Favorite Male Character:

Bow! 

Hes funny, empathetic and a very relatable character. I love his dynamic in the group and how much he treasures his friendships. In season 4 I felt so bad for him because of certain things that started to go down. 

Favorite Female Character:

Very generic but Catra.

Shes the most interesting character and I feel very bad for her. Her actions may have been bad-And I’m in no way excusing some of the things she did-But I always rooted for her to be good. I always wanted her redeemed and I’m very happy with how she was written and how her arc played out.

 Least Favorite Character:

Tough choice between him and Frosta (Because little kid characters are annoying af) But I chose Swiftwind.

Just. No. I dont typically like characters that are the comedic relief unless its done right. (Like with Sea Hawk) Swiftwind comes off as annoying and unnecessary. No hate to those who like him though. 

Favorite Ship:

Come on now. You already now.

Favorite Friendship:

Cant find a gif but Wrong Hordak and Entrapta have my favorite friendship. I love it. ^^ They are super cute together. (As friends)

Favorite Quote:

Badass. 10\10 would listen to again. As a side not I also really like Entraptas speech to Hordak about imperfections. And Mara talk about worth to Adora. (It was hard to chose but I had to go to the one that stuck with me the most-And it was Catras.)

Worst Character Death (if any):

Hmm-I dont have a problem with any of the character deaths. I guess it would be Horde Primes? Because I feel it was rushed and not as big of a deal as they were making him out to be?

This made me so happy you have no idea Moment:

Ahh-Theres so much. Theirs the Catradora scene, the time Catra finally stood up against Shadow Weaver and Hordak...When Hordak and Entrapta reunited.

However I have to give it to Scorpia. When she leaves her toxic situation and stands up for herself. That was a moment to remember and I was so happy for her.

Saddest Moment:

Okay yet another hard one. The ‘Promise’ scene was so sad-And the deaths scenes were as well. When Adora was dying and Catra was pleading with her to stay...When Catra apologized.

But Its Glimmer and Angelas argument “I’m sorry I’m such a screw up” or something that broke my heart and hit me in a very. Relatable place. It still gets to me.

Favorite Location:

I liked beast Island. It gave off a creepy and dark vibe-And the atmosphere and creatures that were there just. I loved it.
