love all your posts relating to same coin theory!! It's one of my favorites in the gravity falls fandom and one of the more interesting ones. Do you think there's any areas of the theory that aren't really talked about enough/covered?

while it's not exactly same coin only per se, in terms of powers stan might get, i think seeing through the eyes of effigies/images of himself and conjuring blue flames are the only ones that ever get brought up. i've been thinking about possession and dream manipulation a bit lately (....stan testing the latter out by inserting ads to the mystery shack in some random guy's dream 😭)

in terms of the new stuff we got, i'm still shaking folks by the shoulder and going "but what does the lost pages giving bill stan's handwriting mean??" but also i dunno if anyone else brought up stan and bill both being institutionalized

#possession is of course super traumatic to the family but im mostly thinking about it in terms of stan hitching a ride #rather than full on take overs (altho i can imagine the latter still happening in an emergency)#(ie stan twisting his ankle and ford being unconscious and they need to get away from somewhere asap)#(altho that'd just open a can of trauma worms later)#even the cases of just hitching a ride they'd still be stuck with 'wtf do we do with stan's unconscious body'#same coin theory
