Ahhh, okay, I'm not sure I can gather 7 ace characters, but we'll see. (Correction: I did manage it in the end. And I can post this during Ace Week yay! ✨)

1, Percy Jackson: demi(god ha-ha-ha)

Yepp, I headcanon our pretty hero as somewhere on the aroace spectrum, probably grey/demisexual and demiromantic, because while he notices people's attractiveness, I see it as aesthetic attraction, not a sexual one. People fall in love with him left and right, and he doesn't see it, not because he is an idiot, but because he doesn't really get romantic love and sexuality. On the other hand, his love interests are based on deep affection, he has to know them before he could fall in love with them. So, yeah.

2, Kuroba Kaito: asexual

I agree with Fee, his pervertedness reads more like he doesn't really have personal boundaries for pranks. Also, the Akako story line is absolutely ace-coded. Why would he be the only one not attracted to the witch? Because he is the main character, sure, but that doesn't explain the how. Well, it's because he is ace, duh.

3, Leonard Snart: asexual

So, I feel he is a panromantic asexual. He falls in love with the best and worst people he could possibly find, and he is always flirting and has great relationship with his love interest(s), but it's not "hot", or anything. I feel like he uses sex as something unavoidable, maybe a good stress relief, but not as something he desperate needs and wants from a partner.

4, Wednesday Addams: asexual

Ahhh, Wednesday my beloved 💗💗💗 Nobody can convince me that she is not on the ace spectrum. There's literally no sexual tension between her and anybody else, and yes, I include Enid as well, because as much as they are my OTP, Wednesday is not attracted to anybody sexually. Sapphic demiromantic asexual, maybe, but she doesn't really care about labels. (She would be into BDSM tho! 🤭 Torturing and dominating her partner is just up her alley!)

5, Rick Sanchez (C-137): greysexual

Okay, okay, I know he fucked his way through the galaxy, through the multiverse, but! Hear me out. He uses sex just like any other thing in his life - a weapon to divert his attention away the pain and emotions he is feeling. If he is having sex, he can loose himself, he doesn't have to feel - just like when he is drinking alcohol and doing drugs. Sometimes he feels attraction, but is it because he feels like he should desire that person / thinks it is a requirement for being loved, or he genuinely wants to have sex with that person? We'll never know.

6, Katniss Everdeen: aroace

She is sooo aroace! Yes, she is attracted to people, very very low-key. She notices how attractive people are, but not in a "I want to be with them" way, but in a "oh, wow! Anyways..." way. She loves people so much, but you can't tell me she is into romance. She is into companionship. Love. Support. Comfort. Trust. She wants to be loved and wants to be there for somebody. It's like Gale said: she chooses the one who needs here the most.

7, Lan Wangji: demi

On one hand, he might be somebody who is thirsting SOOO hard for his significant other, but on the other, he doesn't give a fuck about anybody else. (Pun definitely intended.) He is definitely demisexual and demiromantic, nobody can convince me otherwise. WWX burrowed himself in his cold little heart, unknowingly making a home for himself there with each of his shenanigans. Falling and thirsting came with each time WWX made a nuisance out of himself.

Top 7 Favorite Aspec Headcanons

So I’m starting a tagging game for Internation Asexuality Day! Rules are simple, post your 7 favorite ace headcanons!

1. Shadowhunters, Jace Herondale: asexual

I just think he’s neat? I think he’s very sex-enthused and finds joy in it, but the way he just doesn’t seem to have a type and hooks up with anyone who’s willing just makes me think of him as ace.

2. One Piece, Monkey D. Luffy: asexual

The way he just… does not pay attention to the attractiveness of honestly anyone around him? How Boa Hancock leaves him completely unaffected? That’s just so very ace of him and we genuinely are one author’s acknowledgement apart from him being a canon ace icon because he is truly fundamentally being written as ace.

3. Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Harmony Kendall: aroace

I love her so much and I think of her as aroace. She never had a single romantic plotline throughout both shows and the comic continuation. She had a sexual relationship with Spike, sure, but that too felt more like convenience than anything else.

4. Arrow, Mia Smoak: aromantic

Honestly, this one is mostly just about vibes. Kat’s portrayal of Mia Smoak gave me an aromantic lesbian vibe. Sure, the hardened exterior that won’t let anyone close enough to love her or for her to love someone is all intended to be about the daddy issues and abandonment issues, but it just read as aro to me.

5. Detective Conan, Kuroba Kaito: asexual

I actually made a whole post on how performative and staged his pervertedness feels in canon and why that makes me read him more as an asexual who tries to fit into the crowd than anything else.

6. Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Daniel Osbourne: demisexual

The way Oz first really noticed Willow when she wore the least sexy outfit possible, when most of the time the thing hat first sparks interest seems to be sexual attraction before two people get to know each other enough to develop romantic feelings, and how he never really brought sex up at all, but was very on board when Willow brought it up deeper into their relationship, has given me a demisexual read on him ever since I learned what that means.

7. Leverage, Parker: asexual

Every single innuendo about her and Hardison always leads up to “they jumped from buildings” or “they crawled through air vents” and those are also the things she thinks about when she is supposed to think of something exciting or something she enjoys. How she didn’t really understand what the team meant when they all called Tara “hot”. I just can not watch this show and not see her as asexual, because it is so heavy in the subtext.
