(The real question here. As I debate whether or not I want to try to be active again.. In the past I've only ever interacted with either the people who dragged me onto this hellsite (same people who gave me my current screen name on a forum over a decade ago aha) or the friends I made through them and that chain reaction, but almost all of them are gone now so I'd be starting almost from scratch aha;;; I've never been opposed to new people but I'm terrified of talking to people, which doesn't work since apparently I'm historically remarkably intimidating;) (But the question here is do I finish Season 18. I know Carolina and. The new gruff guy that's an obvious Sarge stand in but made more sympathetic. Their interactions were the only thing keeping me in; I have a lot of still simmering thoughts about the season that... I'll keep to myself unless asked I suppose. I've also been told my boo got a really good finale despite being Worf Effected again (looking at you for the first one, Miles.);;; I just... I'm such a nerd about making sure I know my canon inside and out so I know where I'm straying from it that it feels wildly inappropriate not to watch and still be active >.<)

Twice’s 10th member has an allergy attack
A/N: So, I actually got an ask on Tumblr and this is how I got here :)
The request: Hi!! Could you do like 10th member being sick and clingy baby and not wanting to take her medicine? If you could write as Jihyo being the principal Caretaker I would love it! ❤️
Love you writings!!!
PS: Tysm for everyone that reads what I write, I hope I can bring a smile to your faces every time I post!  I hope whoever requested doesn't mind that I changed the request a little just so it wouldn't repeat something I already posted, but the vibe is the same as in being sick so yeah- xx
__________________________________________________________
When she woke up with a runny and stuffy nose, itchy eyes and a headache she knew what was coming. Y/N has been suffering from allergies since she was a kid and an allergy attack wasn't uncommon, actually, it's pretty much her daily life.  The point is, what triggered her allergy this time? Opening her eyes while scratching them, 'cause they're super itchy, she looked around and her answer was right on her face, she didn't clean her room for some time and it got dusty. This, is the cause of her death, jk. (Unless...)
Y/N - Why didn't I clean my room before this happened? UGH *sneeze*
Jihyo - Baby? I heard you complaining about something so I came here asap to see what's wrong with you.
Y/N - Omma Jihyooo, I need love!
Jihyo - Don't play around Y/N L/N... What happened sweetheart? (the mood changes as she sees her state -miserable-)
Y/N - I've allergic rhinitis so I've got an allergic attack because of my room :(
Jihyo - What's triggering you hon?
Y/N - Mostly the drapes, they're so dusty...
Jihyo - I'll take them off and put them on the washing machine, while I'm at it go take a hot bath so you do some misting with the steam. And no, you don't have an option, go. Now.
Y/N - Okay, okayyy, but are you gonna cuddle me after Mom?
Jihyo - Stop with that
Y/N - Don't act as if you don't like it, mama
Jihyo - Fine, just 'cause you're my cute child
Y/N entered the group when she was really young so this isn't an odd occurrence in the dorm. Being away from her parents she needed some support and as a leader, Jihyo promised she'd care for Y/N as her own (spoiler though not really: she did, reeeeeally well)
While Jihyo put the drapes on the washing machine, Y/N stayed sitting on the bed waiting for her to come back, even if most of the time her personality was like Tzuyu's she could beat Sana on clinginess while sick, you can only dream of counting how many times she cried over not going to a schedule for being under the weather and not having anyone to hug and hold onto. After sneezing 15 more times after Jihyo left (Yes, she counted. Being bored does that to people), her mom came back to the room and glared at her as soon as she saw that she remained lying down.
Jihyo - What are you still doing here? *raises eyebrow*
Y/N - You left me, obviously I'm waiting for you silly :)
Jihyo - Why? *sighs*
Y/N - I missed you! You're there for so long
The second Y/N finishes the sentence Jihyo lets out a motherly smile and goes to hug her baby. Even after some long minutes, Y/N doesn't seem to want to let go but Jihyo has to give her a bath and get some medicine on her, even if she knows the struggle this is gonna be. Y/N hates taking medicine, she's so stubborn that Momo had to hold her down the last time she was sick so Mina could put the medicine in Y/N's mouth.
Jihyo - Let me go a little cuddle bug
Y/N - Nooo, you're so comfy omma
Jihyo - We've to get to the bathroom so you can take a bath so this runny nose becomes a little bit better
Y/N - Can you carry me? I'm so tired from all the sneezes, they're making my headache worse
Jihyo - Fine, up we go
They get out of the SMC bedroom with Jihyo carrying Y/N like a baby with her legs around her waist and head resting on her shoulder. As they get to the bathroom, Jihyo tries to take Y/N off of her so she can get the bath ready, followed by a thousand whines and complaints about how she shouldn't do that and how she didn't love Y/N if she let go lol
Jihyo expected this from the maknae but it doesn't make it any easier, with some persuasion she managed to leave Y/N seating on the toilet and finally turned the tap on with some hot water so it could create some steam. Picking Y/N up and putting her in the bathtub was hard, she didn't wanna let go so Jihyo had to get in with her, some skin-to-skin never hurt anyone (Y/N is a sucker for it when she's feeling icky). With Jihyo behind and Y/N laying on her chest she washed her hair and cleaned just her back for comfort, Y/N assured her she could clean herself well so this was just to shower her with the care and love that she needed. She knew the absence of the members was affecting their maknae for going to Switzerland without them, the rest of the SMC finished school but she didn't so she had to stay behind to attend classes (which sucked, she complained sm JYP considered asking the head of the school for some leave so she could travel, but 3mix -the moms- didn't allow it to happen 'cause studies should come first even if she's an idol) and Jihyo stayed with her 'cause who are we kidding, it's her child we're talking about.
Y/N - Unnie, my head is hurting a lot...
Jihyo - Your eyes are red too, stop scratching them! When you take your medicines everything will be okay love bug
Y/N - I don't wanna. And it tastes horrible!
Jihyo - Don't be like that, or I'm gonna need to call the manager for help.
Y/N - Noooo, omma! Why?
Jihyo - Nothing of that. Let's finish the bath and you're gonna take your medicines.
Just like a petty kid, Y/N turns around and crosses her arms while sulking. Jihyo gets out of the bathtub and grabs Y/N by the arms and sits her down on the toilet again so she can dry herself first and change clothes before doing the same for her spoiled youngest. After finishing she tries to get Y/N to walk by herself to bed while she gets the medicine and some soup with no success. After some scolding -out of love ofc- she carried Y/N bridal style to bed and quickly got the medicine.
Jihyo - It's meant to make you sleepy love, it's grape your favourite!
Y/N - It's not my favourite! I hate medicine, I don't want it unnie :(
Jihyo - That's your problem cutie pie, take it now or I'm gonna have to force it down your throat
Y/N - Dang- fineeeee
A little later, Y/N started feeling sleepy and made grabby hands to Jihyo who happily climbed on the bed and leaned down on the headboard so Y/N could lay between her legs with her ear to her chest. Listening to her unnies quiet and calm heartbeat made her feel safe and loved, and remembering how her sisters care for her always made her heart warm. With the peace she always gets in the presence of her members she fell asleep.
Jihyo - You see? It wasn't that hard to drink it, was it?
Jihyo - Y/N...?
Looking down, she noticed that the younger girl was sleeping with her mouth open snoring quietly. For her, Y/N looked adorable, her adorable maknae. After updating the members on the situation they all sent messages and did a video call with the baby before she slept, the girls could only think one thing:
We love our dear maknae.
A/N: I apologise for any errors, English is not my first language. Pls, let me know if there's something wrong, ty for reading <3

YNaM Retrospectives - Chap. I
Welcome, welcome~  To inaugurate my own little corner of the internet, I thought I’d do a series of retrospectives—just me leisurely rereading each chapter of my ongoing KoiFlan longfic, You’re Not a Monster, and giving some extra thoughts or background to things!
Here’s a link to the first chapter in question, if you want the context:
So first off, it’s very strange coming back to the first few scenes of YNaM, about two-and-a-half years after I first wrote them (I originally drafted them in Jan. 2021).  I don’t remember everything, but I do remember enough to write this post.
I also remember being incredibly preoccupied with that first scene, for better or for worse.  In a bunch of ways, it was the scene that informed what would become YNaM—from writing style, to headcanons, to tone.  It’s got a lot of weight to bear too—it has to be interesting enough to serve as a hook, but also be emotionally flat enough to get across poor Flan’s starting emotional state.  Even the emotion that’s there was meant to feel kind of muted, coming from a place of hollowness or depression, something only broken by Flan’s own little daydream (just before Sakuya enters).  I don’t think I got it quite right, since the pacing’s super wonky and the flow reads weird to me now, but that’s what I was going for.
Obviously, Flandre leads a lonely existence—we’ve known that for 20 years.  But the idea that she isn’t actually trapped down there is a super intriguing one to me—how does she deal with it?
In my headcanon, Flandre deals with it by simply living in her head.  She’s alone, feels alone, has always felt alone (even though it’s not technicallytrue).  But she doesn’t necessarily feel lonely, just…empty.  She doesn’t leave the basement, doesn’t seek companionship or actual friendship.  Her time in utter isolation has permanently warped the way she thinks and acts into a sort of childish egocentrism—a learned helplessness, if you will—despite otherwise being basically a teenager/young adult.  That’s the sort of feeling I had in my head when editing that first scene (and indeed, the whole chapter), and I tried my best to convey it, but I probably failed at it…!  But that’s okay, all a learning experience~
The second scene was one of my early attempts at physical comedy, as well as the first appearance of one of my favorite headcanons—Flandre’s long scarlet nails!!  I like long nails, both on characters and myself, so it’s more of a personal headcanon (that a lot of people agree with, judging by Flanart).  And it really does make wearing gloves a pain though~  But that’s okay, Flan’s got sharp magic nails so she’s immune to them hurting lol
And the third is scene is just me setting up the Remi conflict that drives the first few chapters (I still really like the banter between the Scarlets tho).  Here’s a fun fact for you—in the original drafts, Remi didn’t even really appear in the first few chapters!  Those original drafts (written in Jan/Feb 2021), called You’re Not Her, were fully complete at 33k words—we’re already past that on YNaM, and we've still got a lot to go~  Basically, the plot in YNH was paced so lightning fast that it just had so many holes, and so I fixed one of those holes with the Remi subplot.  One of those big early problems was character agency, and not for nothing, it’s super difficult giving agency to a character who wants to do nothing but lay in her bed and daydream all the time…
From a purely mechanical point of view, it’s why the structure of Touhou is the way it is—the whole “resolving incidents” structure of each Touhou game gives the protagonists that agency organically, so there’s always forward momentum in the story.  The way ZUN’s set it up, if something weird goes down in Gensokyo, Reimu and Marisa are gonna get to the bottom of it, without fail (okay, almost without fail).
Rereading my little Remi-fix, though, I do still suspect that Flandre’s reaction to Remi’s party comes off as melodramatic.  Especially for a first chapter.  I tried to cloak it in a “straw that broke the camel’s back”-type feeling, as well as playing up the deceptive part of Remi’s actions, yet the melodramatic tinge still remains.
At the same time, I’m not quite sure what I’d do to remedy the feeling?  I mean, I dunno—I’d hope that Flan’s outburst feels in character for her to do?  Flan’s kind of anxiety-ridden and edgy, and she’s at rock-bottom as a person, and Remi did try to force her into it…  So Flan got pissed.
Basically, I’m sure a more elegant solution exists, but alas—it’s one I can’t see.
So yeah!  That’s everything I have on Chap. I, I think.  I had fun doing this; hope you got a kick out of it too! Still not too sure what to do with this space yet, but I'll figure something out eventually~

¡Skate/sing your hearts out! (Yuri Plisetsky x reader)
(part one)
part two part three part four part five. Find the rest on; Masterlist
Summary: After last year's cancellation of Figure Skating Grand Prix, Yuri Plisetsky finds himself unable to bring out his inner skater after a year of doing nothing but enjoy life like a regular teenager. That's when you enter the picture; We Are Voice Grand Awards's currently hottest competitive vocalist come first place two years in a row. Just like the other competitors of Grand Prix, it turns out that Victor and Yuuri faces the same issue. With an arrangement between Victor and Yakov, they agree to travel to Japan and hire you as a mutual coach for Yuri and Yuuri to help bring back the emotion into their performances like before, maybe even more intense than ever. Yuri however, who's never experienced issues with his coaches before, for some reason finds this one particularly difficult to coexist along with in their (reasonably) odd partnership. Warnings: none
Tumblr media
*Yuri's POV*
"Remind me once again why we're going to Japan? It's clear you'd never take us there just because you miss Victor and I know by experience that it's not because of his apprentice."
First class flight like usual. The view out the airplane window of the sparkling city at nighttime below them would stun anybody but at this point, Yuri has traveled so many times it's only become regular sights and the lights of the streets are only plain colored spots in a dark void to him these days. One thing he will never feel comfortable with though is staying in the same seat for hours on end until the airplane arrives at its destination. His legs are itching from wanting to move around. He'll just have to jog it off back on the ground like every other trip in the past.
"You'll be spending some time with Yuuri Katsuki and Victor the following weeks to gain your fighting spirit back. You need to get back in touch with your emotions, remember?" Yakov slightly turned his posture towards the Russian skater beside him, folding his newspaper in half and putting it in his lap.
He only nodded with a slight hum. He could see Yakov's reasoning, some parts of it at least. He HAD been lacking in emotional performance ever since the new year began and it was time to get back into the mindset of winning yet another Grand Prix gold medal like last year. No, not last year. Last year's competition was cancelled after a minor pandemic spread through Russia and the nearby regions. In fear of the virus spreading, all competitions cancelled and larger crowded areas were forbidden to take place. Therefore Yuri's only been able to practice by himself and keeping himself fit for a possible competition next year. But a year of doing nothing can really change your spirit and afraid to admitting it to his coach, he's been missing several opportunities to hit the rink and stayed home watching anime or scrolled through social media instead.
But one thing he doesn't get is how Victor and Yuuri are gonna make him get his mindset in the right track again. He already won his first gold medal at his senior debut and he doubt that the Japanese skater will be in any better condition than Yuri's currently in right now. Pig-man must've been in a much worse state considering his boo Victor had to stay in Russia during the pandemic, unable to keep an eye on Yuuri's routines.
"Besides, there's a little surprise waiting for you where you'll be staying with the two of them. It better work out fine or else I'm out of ideas."
That caught his attention to say the least.
"Well if it's supposed to save me from the deep end then why be so secretive and hushy with it? Spill the news, Yakov."
The old man only grunted and picked up his newspaper once again and hid his face behind it. Well now he really wanted to know what it was. Clearly he would have to make some effort. Soon the article about a Russian charity event taking place this weekend got replaced with a clenched fist going straight through the back of the paper. Yuri expected some kind of reaction but Yakov only sighed and leaned back in his seat without even a flinch.
"It's no surprise if I tell you. I promised Victor to keep it a secret."
"Tell me."
"No."
Yuri groaned and folded his arms with a sour glare. The display in the ceiling told the traveler's that it was 10 minutes until landing so he gave up his attempts and let his eyes rest for a while. At least he would find out tomorrow, he assumed. It was 2am and he would be staying at a hotel close to the airport since it was too late to make rest of the trip in one day.
Yuri was out with the speed of a lightning bolt the second the plane doors opened. He sped past everyone before him and he didn't stop when he finally got outside. His feet carried him to run circles around the plane meanwhile he was waiting for Yakov to get out the normal way. It's a silly habit of his and he knows he looks stupid doing it but his coach has given him strict orders to not run away at one random direction like used to do at first. It would take like half an hour for him to be found once he took off, but only if he got lost.
"Yuri! Get over here!"
Well, there's his cue to get ready and head to the hotel. Finally he's able to get some sleep before he's forced to wake up early at dawn to head to Hot Springs and meet the two most annoying people in Japan.
...
He didn't even have time to eat breakfast. He overslept and got rushed to the cab with an angry Yakov behind him, newspaper folded tightly in his fist. The trip through the beautiful Japan would've been pleasant if Yuri hadn't dozed off every 10 seconds. He didn't get much sleep after all. He spent at least three hours thinking about the special surprise and raiding the free mini bar before he finally got to rest. At 8am he was woken up with banging on the door and now, at 10am, he was standing at the entrance of Hot Springs waiting for Yuuri's mom to announce their arrival. She hurried away somewhere with her usual bubbly happy self that Yuri had no idea how a person could be so... not moody all day long.
The place was as crowded with customers as last time and the two Russians were told to step inside to the more private parts of the building where the family lived along with Victor at the moment.
"Victor! How come my brand new lotion is used? You smelled a suspicious amount of peaches and wild berries at breakfast and there's no point denying it!" A fairly soft and modulated voice was heard from somewhere to the left where the private shower stalls were located. A couple seconds later a giggly Victor and Yuuri came through the direction of the living room and greeted Yuri with happy cheers. The slender white haired Russian caught Yakov in a bear hug, much to the old man's surprise. Yuuri extended his hand towards Yuri but Yuri didn't give any effort in taking it.
"Food. I'm starving."
Yuuri dropped his hand with a light blush but Victor pouted and let go of his former coach. Strong and clingy arms were suddenly wrapped around his chest and he couldn't breathe.
"So unpolite... Yuriooo we've missed you! Haven't you missed us?"
Yuri thrashed like a fish caught in a net and tried to hit the arms of the bastard trapping him. Yuuri joined in, only to get a kick in the hip. His stomach growled angrily and the endless void in his body didn't lighten up the experience a bit.
"Let go you old man! You too piglet!"
"I hoped you'd say it out loud but I know that deep down you've been missing us, Yuriii." Victor went to whisper in his ear with pouty lips but was swatted away by a backhand in his face. That finally caused him to let go and Yuri jumped out of reach for the two males.
"Hm... Or not." The expression he got from Victor was sad and pouty and the man earned a hand on his shoulder, put there by Yuuri. Yuri could only sigh and shake his head.
"Victor! Did you steal my shampoo too?! I will- Oh? What now?" Yuri turned around abruptly by the unfamiliar yet familiar voice behind him. His eyes widened.
The girl was standing to the left of the hall, seemingly coming from the shower. A curious hand rested against the wall beside her and her face was covered in a grey clay face mask, a toothbrush lazily hanging from the corner of her lips. Her (h/c) eyes glistened with mild shock along with her mouth hanging slightly open.
"You are early... Victor, you told me they would arrive at 1pm1!" She pointed a strict finger at the tall man who scratched the back of his head with a hesitant laugh. Her eyes narrowed and she grabbed her toothbrush. Because even if she was standing unprepared in front of two strangers, she would at least not forget to brush her teeth in the process, as you do.
Yuri might've considered it normal if it wasn't for that she was almost naked. Two towels were the only fabric hiding her, one wrapped around her dripping figure and the other tied up in her hair.
"Yeah, about that! I kind of mixed up the time of their arrival and your meeting with the press, that's, by the way now when I think of it, not actually cancelled but later today. Silly of me to forget, right?"
She eyed him as though her bullshit meter was ticking in the red zone and let out a huff. Yuri had to advert his gaze when it suddenly felt intruding to eye her the way he did. He also turned away because a light tint of pink was creeping up his cheeks.
"Right. Thanks for the early update. I appreciate it, really. I'll be with you again in 30 minutes. Don't wait up for me." And with that, she was gone. The silence of the men maintained for a few moments until Yuuri coughed with an awkward smile, his red cheeks still visible even after the girl had disappeared. 'It's a little weird to blush at your almost naked sister' he thought.
"So food, right? Mom is preparing pork cutlet bowls for you, Yurio, since she remembered how much you liked them last time-" He didn't have to say it twice. Yuri was off to the dining area before the man even finished saying 'pork cutlet bowl'.

Tumblr media
Part 2
An:Finally after 3,00 years i finally finished this!! 😭😭
Tumblr media
"What do you mean she knew?! She's a human! You're telling me an innocent fragile human 18 year old could have known what those bloodsuckers are without even Edward knowing?!" Sam yelled loud enough for everyone upstairs to hear.
Seth rubbed my back as he and i sat on the edge of my bed."Hey,it's gonna be ok." I shrugged."He seems really mad though..and i know it's my fault.I should have just kept my mouth shut." He looked to leah for support. She sighed and stood infront of me,"Look i know Sam,He'll yell a bit, but once he gets it out of his system he'll be fine." I winced as he yelled again,"It's alright,I'm used to being yelled at anyways."
Leah clenched her jaw as she saw me wince once more at the sound of the men yelling,"Ok nevermind,I'm over it." She stated before leaving the room.
"Shut up already!" She yelled as she entered the kitchen where Jacob and Sam stood with heated tension
Both men froze and turned towards her,"What did-" she cut Jacob off.
"No shut up,(Y/n) is up there shaking like a leaf talking about how used to yelling she is,Now if you two don't shut up and go up there and talk to her like fucking adults then i swear to our ancestors that i will rip you two apart!" They both stared at her with wide eyes before nodding.
"Good, now go." She pointed upstairs, stepping aside to let them pass. They both gave eachother a confused look before walking upstaires,"I'm the alpha and she..." Sam started,"Don't,She'll hear you.." Jacob elbowed him before they stopped in the doorway. Seth pulled me in for a gentle hug before standing once he noticed the two watching."You better make things right." He whispered to the men before walking past them downstairs.
Jacob sat beside me while Sam leaned against the window seal across from us."So who wants to start..?" Jacob asked looking between me and sam. There was a sigh from across from me,"I will,(Y/n)-" he started gruffly, but once he saw me flinch his voice softened immediately."(Y/n)...i'm sorry for freaking out on you i just...this world can be a very dangerous place and monsters like the cullens are the reason why." I played with a string on the blanket, still not ready to look at them yet. "But they aren't monsters...they were nothing but nice to me.If they really were monsters they had many chances to hurt me." Sam pinched the bridge of his nose,Jacob decided to pick up from there."That may be true,But what Sam meant was all of the bloodsuckers can be very very dangerous to the living,That's why we protect this town from them. And it had been going perfectly fine before the cullens moved here." Staying silent for a moment i took a shaky breath and looked up at them,"Then am i a monster too..?"
He rubbed soothing circles onto my back and whispered calming words to me until i fell asleep,he tried his best to bury me under the blankets before they both left the room. By the time Jacob had carefuly shut the door and turned sam had already stormed his way downstairs.
Sam furrowed his brow and was quick to kneel down on one knee before me,holding my hands in his."Absolutely not! Why would you ever think that?"
He could see that my eyes were beginning to water."My..My father always told me that i-I was nothing but a monster since my mom passed...And when he got remarried it only got worse.." Sam's grip on my hands tightened slightly, once a reassuring gesture was now a protective hold.Jacob rubbed my back gently, urging me to continue. "He told me that my mom was nothing but a disgusting witch and that i should have died with her.." Sam growled in anger standing up and turning away as to not frighten me more. 'If i ever get my hands on that disgusting bastard.' He thought clenching his fists until his knuckles turned white. Jacob put me on his lap and held me to his chest, only when my neck was buried in his chest did i allow the tears to fall.
"O-Oh hey (Y/n), i didn't even heard you come down." He stuttered traying to regain his composure. "Sorry..i got hungry.." My eyes were still red and puffy,my usually bright expression had now become the same deppressed look that i had first come with. 'Just when she was getting better.Damnit Sam.' He thought before smiling softly at me."How about i make you something to eat then? The others are at school and Emily is visiting my mom right now." I nodded,"And those wolves?" He knew exactly who i meant. "They uh..." He wanted to lie but he knew i wouldn't believe him."I have a feeling you already know..." I merely nodded."I knew since i met Sam at the diner, but i could tell you guys didn't want to tell me." He shook his head."No it's not that,we just wanted to protect you ,after everything you've been through we were afraid it might be too much. But after everything that's happened today i think we've already crossed that line." He rubbed his arm in embarrassment.
"I am going to find that bastard and rip him to shreds." Leah nodded in agreement, "And I'm all for it but how are we going to find him Sam,we can't exactly track him in town like this." Leah said rolling her eyes.
Sam raked his hands through his dark hair and shut his eyes tight. He absolutely hated what he was about to suggest. "We need to ask the bloodsuckers for help." Jacob crossed his arms,"Their not exactly the best trackers either Sam.They couldn't even find Victoria when she was in the woods nearby, who knows whether or not this guy already ditched town ." Leah shrugged."I agree but it's worth a shot, right? I don't like the cullens either, well Esme is tolerable, but they might be the best chance of catching this guy as quick as possible." Sam thought for a moment,"It's then decided,Seth you stay here with (Y/n).Leah,Jacob,with me." Running out of the house the three shifted before heading towards the treaty line. Seth watched for a moment before turning to head upstairs,He yelped when he saw me standing behind him with a blanket wrapped around my shoulders.
"Where did they go?" He debated lying again,"They...They went to ask they cullens for help.." I raised a brow,"With..?" He took a deep breath,"Finding your parents."
"They won't find them." I said walking to the kitchen table and sitting down."What do you mean?" I sighed."He and his wife had bags packed when they left me on that road...their long gone by now.." He watched me as i stared down at the table, tears freely fell down my face but i just looked so tired. He sat next to me and placed his hand over mine,"You're apart of our family now,Wether you like it or not." He smiled proudly when i let out a chuckle. "It feels nice..to be wanted..thank you.." He fought back tears himself but a few escaped when he smiled wider."You never have to thank me,you're stuck with me now." He pulled me into a hug, lifting me out of my seat and twirling me around like a goofball. When he finally let me down he ruffled my hair, content with the joyful smile that replaced the saddened frown."Now lets get you something to eat."
When the 3 wolves arrived at the treaty line they saw that Carlisle,Alice and Edward were waiting for them. Carlisle stepped forward,"Alice told us you would need us,What is your plan." Edward relayed to them everything the wolves had told him.He shared a look with Carlisle,"If we ask them..do you think they would actually help?" Edward asked. Carlisle sighed,"It is worth a shot,Demetri is the best tracker in the world.Plus Aro owes me a favor-" he was cut off by Sam's growling.Carlisle looked to Edward for answers,"He is upset that you would even think of asking the Volturi." Carlisle turned to the wolves,"They might be our best option of finding (Y/n)'s father,Demetri can find people that are across the entire planet by smelling them or something with their scent once.I would rather not involve them but i fear we do not have any other choice,Charlie reported that even the police cannot find any traces of her parents." The wolves growled at eachother.
"You can't honestly be thinking of agreeing Sam!" Leah hissed. "After everything the Volturi has done, whose to say they won't just decide to kill her instead." Jacob roared. "They won't,to them she's just a innocent human that doesn't know anything, they don't need to know anything else." Edward said to Sam. Hesitantly Sam nodded,"Don't make me regret this." He threatened.
It took 2 days for the letter to reach the Volturi, and it took 4 days for Alice to recieve a vision."Their coming." She said entering the living room where everyone was waiting. It was silent until Emmet asked the one question on everyones mind.
"Who did they send?"

I carried her outside panic clenching hard on my heart while guilt tugged at my gut. This my was fault... I shouldn't have let her go alone. She was limp in my arms as I carried her to the impala. I glanced back spotting Dean close behind me. In one arm he held a young boy and in his other was a girl about her size. The boy was wide awake while the girl seemed a little out of it. I carefully opened the back door letting Dean slide his load in first. I didn't want to let go of her.
"Come on Sam, we've got to get them to the hospital," Dean growled. I convinced myself to let go setting her in the back seat. The other girl gently laid her across her lap. I gave her a nod of thanks before closing the door and getting into the passenger seat.
.
I sat in the hospital waiting room with Dean. My arms rested across my knees allowing my head to hang. My mind was racing. I shouldn't have let her go alone. I ran a hand through my hair the panic still holding onto my heart. I couldn't calm down. "Dylan?" My head shot up. Dean and I jumped out of or seats and headed toward the doctor.
"How is she? Is she alright?" I asked, nervously.
"And how are the kids?" Dean added.
"They're all doing fine. You found them just in time. If your friend or the girl would've lost anymore blood there would be nothing to help them," he explained, calmly. I let out a sigh of relief my heart relaxing a little.
"Their parents have been called. Thank you both," the doctor added, bowing his head.
"May we see her?" I questioned, running a hand through my hair again. The doctor nodded before walking away. We followed after him until he stopped outside her door.
"You check on her, I'm going to check on the kids," Dean said. I nodded and went into her room. To my surprise she was awake.
"Hey Sam," she rasped, turning her head toward me.
"How are you feeling?" I asked, coming to her bedside. I stood only for a moment before pulling a chair over. She coughed, looking away for a moment.
"Little tired, but I've had worse," she chuckled, roughly. Her voice was weak and hoarse. I frowned slightly.
"I'm so sorry-"
"Don't start." She cut me off. I tilted my head in confusion.
"It isn't- your fault Sam," she said. I opened my mouth to speak, but she cut me off.
"I let my guard down when I saw the girl. That was my mistake," she explained.
"But I-"
"Sam, I went alone because I wanted to. It isn't your fault. I can see it in your eyes- you're blaming yourself... And you don't need to," she finished. I breathed in to speak again but silenced myself as her hand gently rested over mine. Without thinking I shifted intertwining our fingers.
The softest smile I'd ever seen crossed her perfect lips. The panic left me and was replaced with warmth. I stroked her thumb with mine taking a monent to scan my gaze over her face. She was paler than she normally was, but the color was slowly returning to her cheeks and face. Her eyes sparkled even through the dull color that currently occupied her eyes. Her smile held sending butterflies into my stomach. Only one person had ever made me experience such happiness in the roughest times. My heart sank slightly. She was another fine example of how people got hurt around me. I slowly released her hand looking away.
"It's funny... The Jinn showed me everything I've ever wanted.." She huffed, looking up at the ceiling. I turned my gaze back to her.
"What did it show you?" I asked, curiously. She let out a puff of laughter.
"I had my family.. I was married and I lived a normal life as an art teacher..." She sighed, sadness crossing her expression. I stayed silent.
"I had everyone.. My sister, my brothers, my dad, Dean..." She hesitated. "You."
I raised my brows in surprise. My curiosity continued to grow as did my hopes. I'd tried to bury the feelings I had for her, but everytime I thought I was in the clear she'd do something else to remind me of how perfect she was. I'd wanted to tell her for a long time, but I couldn't.
"We had a dog," she added, laughing again. My ears caught at we. We? What did she mean we? When she says married.. Did she mean us? I tried to clear my head. Her eyes met mine and I held it.
"I wanted to stay honestly.." She murmured, looking away her smile fading.
"I had everything I ever could've had..." The question pushed at me.
"Why didn't you?" She looked back at me catching my gaze again.
"I-" she looked away for a moment before catching me again.
"I saw a little boy... When- when I grabbed him I heard..." she hesitated.
"Heard what?" I encouraged.
"I heard you.. Yelling for me.." She continued. My heart stopped.
"I could hear you for a split second calling out to me..." I didn't know what to say so instead I waited.
"I couldn't leave you, which is ironic because you tried to stop me from going too," she huffed. I couldn't help myself as I reached forward taking her hand in mine once more. She squeezed my hand lightly. Her face was sad and it broke me.
"Plus, apparently Dean didn't give me my bracelet and I couldn't live without that damn thing," she giggled, trying to lighten the mood. The sadness on her face only faded a little.
"Damn right you couldn't. You never take it off for christ sake." Dean's voice startled me. I wasn't sure how long he'd been there, but I didn't really care. He came to stand next to me resting a hand on my shoulder. I didn't let go of her hand and she didn't pull away.
"How are ya kid?" Dean asked, calmly.
"I've been better," she said, coughing briefly. Dean chuckled.
"Both of the kids are going to be okay. The little boy is actually going to be discharged in the morning. The Jinn barely got anything out of him before we got there," Dean explained, looking back at the door.
"What about the girl I saw when I got there?" She questioned, sitting up a little more.
"She'll be released in a week or so, but we can get you released now if you want," Dean replied. She let out a sigh of relief.
"Get me the hell out of here. I hate hospitals," she pleaded. I frowned looking up at Dean.
"Maybe that isn't such a good idea. We've got a long drive ahead of us and you need to rest," I countered. She frowned playfully at me.
"I can sleep in the car, plus, isn't there an angel back at the bunker?" She corrected. She had a point. Cas could definitely get her back on her feet in a matter of seconds.
"I'll go get the discharge papers then," Dean said, before wandering out of the room. I turned my full attention back to her looking her over again.
"Are you sure you want to do this? You shouldn't really be up and about so soon." I was concerned about her. She rolled her eyes.
"Help me sit up, will you?" I stood from the chair pushing it aside. I gently reached behind her splaying my hand along her back as she began to sit up. My other hand was braced on her shoulder to steady her. She seemed to tense under my touch which was odd. She shifted with a grunt swinging her legs off of the bed. A nurse entered the room with Dean on her heels. The nurse frowned, but began to unhook her from the machines, silently. I stepped aside taking my place next to Dean.
"Are we sure about this?" I questioned, glancing at my brother.
"She said she wanted out so that is what we're doing. I agree Sam, she shouldn't be going anywhere, but I can remember being in her position and I didn't want to be stuck in a bed either," Dean replied, eyeing her.
"Your clothes are in the drawer miss, and the bathroom is just over there," the nurse instructed. She nodded in response digging out her clothes. Instinctively I moved to her side gently taking her arm and helping her toward the bathroom. Once inside I stood in the doorway.
"You gonna stand there or close the door?" She spoke, drawing me from my blank state. My cheeks flushed a light shade of pink as I backed up closing the door. I sighed and walked back over to Dean.
"I hate it," Dean said, suddenly. I glanced over at him giving him a confused look.
"She shouldn't of had to go through that. Coming out of a Jinn's trance is hard," he explained.
"She shouldn't have gone alone. You should've gone with her," Dean continued, blame evident in his voice. The guilt bit at my gut again causing me to look down at my feet. The bathroom door opened drawing my glance. She was wearing the same clothes that were dirty from the warehouse. Dean approached her offering her his arm.
"Shall we?" She hesitated casting a weary glance my way before reluctantly taking Dean's arm. He began to lead her and I followed behind at a sulking pace.
.
The drive back to the bunker was quiet. She'd fallen asleep about an hour in which gave Dean time to call Cas. I stared in the side mirror watching her sleep behind my seat with her head rested against the cool window. Her face held the same expression it did when we found her. I looked away watching the road ahead as we pulled into the bunker's gravel driveway.
Dean drove the impala into the garage parking it. I unbuckled and reached over the seat resting a hand on her knee. I shook it gently. I swiftly let go as she shot up from the window with a gasp.
"Whoa easy," Dean said, looking back at her. We got out of the car and I helped her. She leaned against me as we walked allowing me to guide her steps.
"You okay?" I asked, gently. She didn't answer only leaning harder against my side. I wrapped my arm around her shoulder keeping her safely locked against me as we walked. I understood her silence. I'd learned the hard way not to push the matter if she didn't want to discuss it.
Cas met us at the entrance to the library taking her from my side and sitting her down in one of the wooden chairs.
"Can you heal her?" Dean questioned, knowing full well that Cas could. Castiel nodded.
"I'd like to look at the full extend of what the Jinn did to you if that's alright," Castiel began, placing his hand on her forehead. She nodded her approval closing her eyes. We watched in silence as a dim light glowed from his palm. I could make out the movement of her eyes under her eyelids. Cas was reading her. Her grip on the chair tightened suddenly before her eyes shot open with another gasp. Castiel pulled his hand back. I took a worried step forward, but paused. Their eyes met and a sympathic look crossed Castiel. Cas sent me the same glance for a moment rising more questions in me. What did he see? Why did he look at me? What scared her?
"Relax for me again," Castiel ordered. With a shaky breath she closed her eyes again. Castiel repeated the same movements except this time the color returned to her face and cheeks. He backed off again and her eyes opened. Their bright color had returned as well.
"You should get some rest. You may feel unwell for a day or two," Castiel suggested. She yawned clearly not going to argue.
"Cas, can I talk to you?" The angel looked toward Dean and nodded before following him out of the room. She stood from the chair swaying a little on her feet. I didn't ask as I took my place at her side again offering her my arm to help her walk. She took it without hesitation.
I walked her to her room and opened the door for her. I helped her to her bed sitting her down. I had to try.
"Do you want to talk about it?" I asked, quietly. She shook her head before lying herself down. I took that as my cue.
"If you need anything I'm just down the hall," I offered. She didn't respond. I left her room closing the door behind me. Castiel met me outside my own room which was just down the hall from hers.
"Sam, it would be wise to give her some space," Castiel encouraged.
"After what she has gone through and what she has seen it would be unwise to push your presence on her," he added, almost as if he was threatening me. I let out a sigh.
"Can you tell me what she saw?" My mind replayed the things she had said in the hospital, but I still had unanswered questions bouncing in the back of my mind. He shook his head firmly before walking away. I went into my room closing the door. I was tired. I dropped stomach first onto my bed not bothering to make myself comfortable as I very quickly drifted off.
.
I jolted awake to a loud cry and a thud. I snatched my gun from under my pillow and ran from my room searching for the noise. My eyes were tired with sleep, but I forced them open alarm going through me. The cry sounded again signaling that it was from her room. I moved swiftly and quietly down the hall my gun drawn and ready. With one movement I opened her door. In the dark I could make out her form on the floor sitting with her legs drawn up to her chest.
I entered the room sitting my gun on her dresser. I dropped down in front of her and reached out for her. She jumped and scrambled back for a moment. I could make out the fear glazing her eyes. "Hey, hey, it's just me, you're-" I grunted as she lunged forward her arms sliding around my neck. Her face buried itself between her arm and my neck. I stayed on my knees wrapping one arm around her lower back and the other across her shoulder blades. Her body trembled against me. I pressed my face into her shoulder rubbing my thumb against her lower back.
I didn't speak as I held onto her taking in the moment. She'd never clung to me like this before and it was odd. After a few minutes she slowly began to let go. I didn't want to, but I followed her lead. I stood up helping her back onto her feet. She sat on the edge of the bed taking her face in her hands. I stood in front of her staring down at her.
"Are you okay?" I asked. Shock washed over me again as she reached out and gripped my shirt pulling me to stand between her parted legs. She wrapped her arms around my lower back burying her face into my shirt. I hesitated for a moment before letting my arms fall on her shoulders tucking her closer. She shook her head against me giving me an answer to my question. I rubbed circled into her left shoulder blade hoping to calm her down. She was still shaking against me.
"I keep seeing it..." she muttered, into my shirt. She pulled back letting go of me. I followed. Her eyes met mine.
"I keep- I keep seeing it everytime I close my eyes..." she repeated. I placed myself next to her on the bed positioning myself so that I was facing her.
"Seeing what?" I asked.
"All of it... The life, the people... the escape." A chill ran up her spine at the last words. I stayed silent showing her that she had my full attention. She gulped avoiding eye contact.
"Everytime I close my eyes I see my family, my dad and my sister.. And I keep seeing your mom and dad... Along with you and Dean," she began. I was surprised that John and Mary were in this, but I didn't say anything.
"I keep seeing my sister happily married to.." She paused the anticipation of her answer tugging at me.
"To Dean..." I raised a brow.
"I keep seeing..." she paused again looking in a different direction.
"It's alright," I encouraged, carefully taking her hand in my own. She squeezed my hand a little.
"Us.. I keep seeing us," she said, finally. I tilted my head. Her gaze suddenly met mine in an intense stare.
"We were married Sam," she blurted, tears stinging her eyes. My own eyes widened in surprise my grip on her hand loosening.
"Oh God..." She choked. She stood up pulling away from me.
"I tried so desperately not to... but after I saw that, I can't just forget," she continued, turning to face me. I didn't move from the bed still shocked by her words.
"We were so happy Sam... and I- and I gave it up," she sobbed, turning her back to me again. I slowly stood realization hitting me. She left because of me. She had the perfect life with everything, yet she left it to come back to me.
"You begged me not to go... But I couldn't. He wasn't Sam, he was just- just a dream." Her voice cracked causing my heart to clench.
"So I-" she paused again. I took a few steps toward her. Her hands came up to rest near her collar bone.
"So I slit my throat.." My heart dropped. Dean hadn't ever told me how he managed to wake up from the trance. I suppose when you die in a dream you wake up. She turned to face me once more her head hanging low and her shoulders trembling with each sob. I came forward until I was in front of her again. I reached out and pulled her close trapping her against my chest. Her hands stayed curled between our bodies as she cried.
The feelings I had buried were surging back tenfold. Her fingers tangled into the fabric of my shirt. I continued to rub circles into her back until she relaxed her sobbing calmed down.
"What's going on?" Dean's voice suddenly called. She pulled back from me looking at Dean who stood in her doorway.
"I- I had a nightmare, that's all," she muttered. Dean's cold stare met mine.
"You okay? I know it can be rough after something like that." Dean stayed at the doorway.
"I'm fine." she defended, taking a step back. Her body brushed against mine.
"Best thing to do is to go back to sleep. Yes, you'll probably have another nightmare, but the more you sleep the faster it wears off," Dean explained.
"I can stay with you if you'd like?" Dean suggested. She turned and walked away from the two of us sitting down on her bed. I turned my back to Dean watching her.
"I don't need a babysitter," she warned, looking away from us. I glanced back to Dean who was staring daggers into my back.
"Alright, if you need anything yell." Without another word Dean left. My heart ached for her. Dean was her best friend, yet she was pushing him away. The silence in the room was overwhelming. I had so many questions and so many things I wanted to say, but when I opened my mouth all of those words stayed trapped in my throat.
"Dean's right... I should just go back to sleep," she muttered, looking down at her feet.
"You need to rest anyway, Cas said you shouldn't be up and about for a few days," I agreed.
"I- I'll let you-"
"Please don't leave me," she whined, her head shooting up to look at me. I stared at her for a moment. She'd told Dean she didn't need someone to watch her, yet she was asking me to stay.
"Please." Her voice was so soft. My mind trailed back to what Cas had said to me. He'd warned me to stay away. Screw him. As I walked back to her bed she slid further onto it making herself comfortable on her side. We'd slept in the same bed pleanty of times, but this was different. I sat on the bed leaning my back against the headboard. She moved closer almost snuggling herself against my leg. After a moment I couldn't contain myself. I slid down onto my own side facing her. She flipped the covers over me trapping our bodies under them.
"You don't- have to do this... I understand if what I told you..." She paused.
"If what you told me...?"
"Makes you uncomfortable." She thought that I didn't care about her. She thought that the feelings she had were one sided.
"No, no it doesn't." I had to reassure her. I scooted closer pulling her to me. I draped one arm over her side locking her in.
"I'm glad you told me," I murmured, catching her weary gaze.
"I know with this job, this life, we are supposed to keep the ones we love far away. We can't afford attachments... But I can't keep you away. I can't keep pretending like these feelings... These feelings don't exist," I admitted. Her eyes widened.
"You aren't the only one who has been burying things.." I finished. The silence that fell between us was comforting. Our eyes never left each others.
"Sam I-" she hesitated. I opened my mouth to question, but was stunned to silence as she suddenly moved capturing my lips with hers. Butterflies exploded in my stomach causing me to kiss back. My eyes slid closed allowing myself to take in everything. I'd wanted this for a long time. She shifted her position keeping us together as she pushed my shoulder. I followed her silent comand and rolled onto my back taking her with me. Her upper body rested on mine her arm bracing herself on my chest.
Our kiss finally broke leaving both of us breathless. I opened my eyes to look up at her. Her hair hung down over her shoulders almost touching my face. I reached up brushing a section of it behind her ear. She leaned down and pressed a kiss to my forehead causing me to lean upward into it. She moved back shifting her position until her head rested over my heart. I let one arm slide further up her back holding her close against my side. One of her hands lightly gripped the fabric of my shirt while the other took my free hand intertwining our fingers. I could've sworn I was melting under her touch. She snuggled closer causing my heart rate to flutter. She giggled tiredly her ear resting directly over my heart. "Relax Sam, I don't bite," she yawned. My cheeks turned a light shade of pink.
"You should try and sleep," I mumbled.
"I'm trying, but your voice is rumbling my entire head," she pouted. I couldn't help but chuckle. She raised her head for a moment giving me a playful glare before laying her head back down.
"Thank you for staying with me Sam.." She yawned, taking one last moment to cuddle against me.
"Anything for you," I replied, letting my own eyes slide closed.
