Nobody asked but here's my newwho agere timeline lmao (9-15)

Okay so we start with Rose. Rose is a certified silly little lady. Okay well lady makes it sound like she's all prim and proper but she isn't. Anyway Rose regresses. her mom doesn't know, and neither does Mickey. But because she's spending sooo much time with The Doctor and he's already... well, a time traveling alien (and therefore used to "weird" things) she entirely trusts him with her regression. (honestly slay. i don't think it gets much cooler than having a time traveler for a cg so go off) BUT ANYWAY The Doctor has briefly heard of agere but never seen it, it just never interested him as much as the myriad of other fun things about humanity. But now he's got Rose and he's definitely at least going to try taking care of her. And he's. okay at it. a bit too protective but he's still fun and very willing to learn. they make friendship bracelets. he knows more about my little pony than he ever intended to. and notably, the TARDIS has a playroom now. There are stars on the ceiling and bed with a blanket nest and shelves and shelves of silly little toys because he just can't say no to her and it's great.

Then he regenerates and. uh oh

Rose, on top of being stressed about, uh, EVERYTHING ELSE is also worried about loosing her caregiver. Spoiler alert: that doesn't happen. Ten is a wonderful caregiver, even more playful and silly yet still very protective (he actually time travels with her when she's regressed, which is more than can be said for Nine) and everything is fine and dandy until uh oh, he loses Rose! fuck!!!

During the time between Rose and Martha he doesn't touch that playroom at all because uh oh! guilt! grief!!!!!!! all around sad! The big big sad!

That doesn't stop the Doctor from trying to regress himself, after a while. it's helpful, he 100% understands why Rose regressed so often. Anyway.

by the time Martha comes around he's doing it pretty often. he's never going to tell her shit about it, but when she isn't there, he's regressing pretty often.

Around the time he finds Donna again, he's actually opened up the playroom again, slightly adjusting it for himself but still keeping most of Rose's stuff. Donna doesn't know, but she does buy him a rather pathetic and skinny little stuffed animal as a joke, because it reminded her of him. it's his best friend.

Then, he regenerated into 11. 11 doesn't regress the entire time he's traveling with Amy, because Amy is a little and he ends up as her cg, and he doesn't tell her because he doesn't want her to worry. Rory is, understandably, a little bit pissed that Amy trusted the Doctor with her regression while he, HER HUSBAND, didn't know, but do you think they're going to address it? no. no they are not.

After Amy and Rory die, all of Amy's things were shoved into a closet in the playroom during a fit of grief and not touched for decades, because it just felt wrong to move them afterward.

While 11 is hiding in the clouds above London, he regresses involuntarily a LOT. he's just. very very sad.

When Clara comes along, girliepop figures out pretty quickly that he's hiding something from her, and when she finds out she pretty much instantly takes up the role of caregiver. he is a sopping wet blanket of a man and goddamnit she's going to take care of him!!! 11 is incredibly hyper on days when he isn't regressed due to stress, he's bouncing off the walls crazy insane and Clara is insanely good with him. oh. and he's a leash kid. you cannot take him anywhere (not that that stops her from doing so) She gets him a little giraffe and some teethers and little sensory toys and y'know. he's her little guy 🥺🥺

And then we get to 12. 12, unlike 11, isn't very open about his regression at all. in fact, he actually tries to convince her he doesn't regress anymore, but Clara isn't dumb and sees right through it. Once he stops being a stubborn little bastard Clara realizes just how low energy he is. when 12 regresses, most of the time he just curls up and goes to sleep. She doesn't really need to do anything other than be there most of the time. they eventually get him a bean bag that goes next to Clara's desk in the TARDIS, so while she grades and does work he curls up and naps or plays with his sensory board or just sits there and watches. he's just very, very tired. they are the definition of the "excuse me he asked for no pickles" meme. she is so much shorter than him and this is unnecessarily funny to me. just imagine her being like "yeah I have a little!" and the little is an angry looking Scottish man who is several inches taller than her and looks like he hasn't slept in days. wonderful amazing incredible i have no notes.

He doesn't tell Nardole or Bill about it. Nardole is much too strict about most things to be a fun caregiver, and Bill is his student. Sure, she's also his friend, but he has no interest in telling her. So that's all fun and great but Missy. oh Missy knows. don't ask me how she knows I have no idea but she does and it turns out that they both regress and. bangs my head into a wall. them . ough

The Doctor is definitely not going to regress around her for a variety of completely understandable reasons but Missy is very, very pent up and stressed in that vault and goddamnit he is going to give her enrichment in her enclosure. So he starts buying her things behind Nardole's back, bringing her little science kits and books and dolls and whatever her little heart desires! She does his makeup and they watch movies and paint eachothers nails. Nardole is a bit suspicious but who gives a shit they're thriving.

Eventually Missy seems to be stable enough and one day he finds himself slipping with her, which leads to a several hour long playdate and a mess that they both have to clean up. After that they settle into a routine where they meet every other day and switch off who's the cg that day, if any. The watch more movies are make matching pacis and they cuddle it's great. once again 10/10 no notes can you tell that 12 is my favorite yet.

Then we get to 13 and brother 13 is the most miserable little guy on this list. 11 may have spent decades fluctuating between headspaces above Victorian London but 13 is so much worse.

If 13 settles down for too long she starts thinking too goddamn hard and it upsets her. on top of that, she doesn't want people to know about her regression because of the sexism she started experiencing after regenerating. She knows people already few her as more emotional and crazy than her past selves and if people knew about her regression, that would no doubt get worse. Plus, she has 3 whole people in the TARDIS, which she does consider to be her responsibility and therefore she doesn't want to put herself in a mindset where she couldn't help them if needed. She regresses around the fam once, completely involuntarily, and they never talk about it again. Every time 13 regressed it was involuntary, and most of those regressions were spent crying. This gets infinitely worse after the timeless child ordeal. she may not have those memories but she experiences them as nightmares or daydreams, kind of like how when "john smith" (10) wrote stories about being the doctor because he could very faintly remember it. These nightmares and daydreams are more common when she regresses because they are memories from her childhood. This is the first time that regression has been dangerous for her. She doesn't want to, but it just keeps happening, and there's nobody to take care of her through it all.

Despite being in an infinitely less stressful environment and having people to care for him, 14 avoids regressing. Maybe one day, but not now. not so soon. not when it might be unsafe. But that doesn't mean he's completely away from it. Rose is also a regressor! She regresses for stress relief and also to have a more .. fem childhood? y'know. you get it you understand

Rose tells 14 before Donna, because he's a goddamn time traveling alien and has absolutely no right to judge her. no matter what he will always be weirder.

anyway he's like. that's so cool of you tbh but you should tell ur mom too because she's an absolute sweetheart and I'll back you up on everything. So she does and Donna feels SO guilty about Rose not thinking she would be accepting even though Rose reassures her that anxiety is just like that. But she's also thrilled? like. ohh i get to take care of my baby again. oh this is great. i love my daughter

so the Doctor's like cool. that's fun- and then he remembers that he has a time machine that can go anywhere and. this toootally doesn't end in him taking his little niece to all sorts of zoos and parks and museums with a perception filter in so she looks like a normal child so nobody can judge her. definitely not. maybe don't tell Donna about that bit

15 is considering going back to regression, and he has no plans to inform Ruby (at least not for a while.) Ruby is a regressor, but she's too nervous to tell him.

I've cried about this before on here multiple times but this is my favorite line, and the one that made me an indefatigable Akechi stan:

"I can still be your playmate" literally recontextualized the way I think about love hsfjdlshfks. Like. Play is such an essential part of living. Not just for humans, pretty much every animal we've ever studied turns out to engage in play when given the opportunity (feels safe, not hungry/thirsty).

And playing with others is especially important in social species! Notice how core playing is to human society: all games obviously, but also sports, gambling, a huge chunk of media dedicated to various games or using games as a base for a story, etc.

Anyways, Kusuo just hasn't gotten the opportunity to play, really play, since he was a small child. Even if those early games with Kusuke counted, they no longer did once Kusuke installed the limiters. After that, every game was tinted with the danger of basically losing his life should he lose, essentially destroying any fun that Kusuo could have gotten from it. Not at any point does Kusuo wish he could play a game with his brother again – it's something he would rather avoid at all costs.

And we can see that Kusuo does not really know how to play on his own either. When left to his own devices, he only reads/watches/plays shitty/obscure media, watches live TV, or stares at the ceiling. His powers prohibit him from doing a lot of things, and if he's up to anything else, it's usually training to improve his control (like when he threw a baseball back and forth a billion times to get better at it).

So when Akechi comes up with a game for Kusuo to play, it's actually groundbreaking. Especially because Akechi purposely does not place any limits on Kusuo in order to do it! That's HUGE!

Kusuke ALWAYS tries to limit Kusuo when they play, handicapping Kusuo in London with a GPS tracker and 2 friends to limit his power use, and using Toritsuka as a hostage during the Cat Tank arc (and there's no way Kusuke didn't shoot at Toritsuka directly multiple times to make Kusuo take the hit). The only time Kusuke doesn't handicap Kusuo is for the fireworks "birthday surprise", but that was explicitly because he was testing the limits of Kusuo's powers to adjust the Cat Tank.

On the other hand, Akechi doesn't put any limits on what Kusuo could do to play, and in fact, watches him obviously using his powers (specifically clairvoyance and distance telepathy). To him, Kusuo using his powers is not cheating, because Kusuo's powers are as much a part of him as his hands or eyes.

The wording of Akechi's comment in the first panel, "I guess [...] I'm still better than you when it comes to betting on horse races", and then "It seems there may still be plenty of things we can go head to head in", shows that Akechi didn't actually know whether he would be able to provide Kusuo with a challenge. And that he's happy he can! Because it means that he and Kusuo can play together!

And tbh, Akechi himself probably has trouble finding people who can keep up with him in games. He mentions in the same chapter that he doesn't have any friends and isn't even sure what social people do for fun, rip.

So anyways, it just really hit me that the ability to be playmates is so important for a deep personal relationship. Like if you can't feel safe enough to relax and be silly and vulnerable, and try new and different things together, how good is that relationship really, y'know??

(His age is supposed to be ambiguous, however he's the same age as Draco (16) when they go to RMU) (I also don't know the canon age vince and victor went to RMU, so this might change ehe)

He doesn't have a self of identity, I mean, how can you have one when you've been on the go your entire life, and kept shifting into new personalities, new looks, new credentials.. his actual form is so distorted due to this; whenever he tries to make something up about himself, whatever part he's trying to shift turns to black ink, all drippy and he's soon to become a large puddle of it if he continues.

Riley isn't even he's actual name, but he's been this made up ‘Riley’ he decides to just keep as him. (fun fact 1 : he'll only respond to someone if they call him ‘Riley’, and nicknames only go as far as ‘Riles’, ‘Rye’, ‘Ri’, or ‘Rilester’, and even then, he only responds to nicknames to close friends/family.) Base amory is always obsessed with magic, so it was perfect to translate to this. He would love Simon's books and study antiquarian stuff on the side of his chemistry science nerd degree. And when Betty and Simon can't find the crown, amory with his stubborn ass would find it a perfect way of proving his metal to retrieve it where a famous person couldn't lolz. He always feels like he has something to prove, which manifests in his reckless determination and stubbornness. His goal was to prove the existence of magic and theorized the artifacts were tools and a map to determining the code to spells with your own hands. His dad always thought it was absolutely stupid, that he was wasting his potential on silly fantasies, daddy-o wasn't a fan of Simon either when amory would talk about a lecture of his. Amory's dad is kinda like, take Marcy's dad, and remove the goofy cray cray, he's kinda jus a gruff and generally aggressive ass. Abusive in many flavors and imprinted a lot of the trauma response behaviors in amory.

The gal on the bottom right was amory's fiance, who didn't know much bout this stuff but tried to support him, yet something didn't sit right with her about seeking objects like those that are buried away. Amory was wrapped up in his head and didn't listen, which leads to kirona leaving, as she couldn't deal with his progressively worse obsessive behavior, especially after he found the crown and put it on. He did not keep it together with the crowns effects, and nearly hurt kirona before she managed to land hitting the crown off his head. He was so engulfed in what he saw that he didn't even hear her when in her high adrenaline state was scolding him. When kirona tried to take the crown to get it away, he reached out to take it back which made her more angry. High emotion time and all that she rushed out from the apartment.

Amory tried to show the crown off as proof of his theories, that he just needed to study it more. They didn't believe what he told them of it, so in his frustration he put it on to show them, trying to keep it together this time, but it went a bit crazy with him freezing some peeps and getting in ppls face hah.

His deal is that he totally is like, "itsfineitafineitsfine-" thinking he totally has it all under control, that he can figure it out.

Over the years, he thinks he's found a way to stifle the madness to get a clearer head. In his chaotic potion making, made a sort of toh eda elixir. It helps but doesn't fix fix it, and he'll start growing a tolerance so he keeps changing it and trying to figure out other ways. So he's kinda in between ice king and winter king in sanity lol

Instead of capturing princesses like ice king, glacier king (amory) tricks wizards into signing a contract to basically give their body to science, door to door business bich in the wizard City lmao, jus like I got ✨free healthcare✨ XD also collects various creatures of ooo to study mutations and differences between how the natural creatures are and hexed creatures. Glacier would also be fascinated by bubblegum for her own mad scientist side lol. He would a hundred percent steal her candy people making instructions or randomly bug her for tips or share his own.

Finn and Jake would be a nuisance cuz y'know they'd sabotage his hostage lab rats biz, but after getting over that he'd find it kind of amusing and a cut between the cycle he's been in. So later in the show would study them lol not entirely sure how all the parts would work- but that's most of what I got so far

It was late at night at the Shiraishi household. An and her partner, Mizuki, were cuddled up on her bed, basking in each others presence.

"Did you have fun today birthday girl~?" asked Mizuki in their usual teasy tone.

"Hehe yeah! Although I think I ate too much cake... But it was worth it, it was so yummy!".

"Well I'm glad you enjoyed it".

"Yeah..." An said as she sighed, a slight frown overtaking her features.

Mizuki instantly noticed the slightly saddened expression on her face. "Is something wrong?" they asked concerned.

"Oh it's nothing" An tried to play it off cool, but her partner didn't believe her one bit.

"Y'know you can tell me anything, so spill it" Mizuki wore a reassuring smile on their face, gently squeezing their girlfriend's hand in the process.

"Well... I kinda wanted you to do something..." An said as a soft blush overtook her cheeks.

At the sight of their flustered partner, Mizuki started to catch on. "Is that so? And what is this thing you want me to do~?".

An knew that they knew, and that Mizuki was just messing with her, but she couldn't help but feel so shy and flustered in the moment. "Y-you know what it is...!".

"Do I?? Why don't you remind me sweetheart~?".

An huffed and pouted while crossing her arms "I wanted you to t-tickle me...".

Mizuki couldn't help but laugh at her. "Ahaha! Aww, does the baby want some tickle tickles~?" they asked as they wiggled their fingers teasingly at their girlfriend.

"Ugh...y-yeah..." An dragged her hands down her face out of embarrassment. Not long after, Mizuki pounced on her, pinning her with her arms above her head. An's face was fully flushed at that point, with giggles starting to bubble up in her chest.

"So...where do you want your birthday tickles?" Mizuki playfully winked down at her, causing An to let out a cringey grin.

"Uhm... go for that spot".

"Which spot? Right here? Your ticklish 'lil armpits~?" they teased as they playfully poked at the exposed pit.

"GAH-! D-dohon't call them that..!".

"Why not?? You're just so cute wanting the coochi coos~!" Mizuki started gently scratching at her armpits, sending An into hysterics.

"AHAHAHAHAHAHA!" she threw her head back in laughter, allowing herself to get lost in the tickly feeling.

"Happy birthday darling~" said Mizuki in a sincere tone, placing a soft kiss on An's cheek as she went to town on her armpits. She wished she could've returned the kiss, but she was too busy laughing her heart out to do so.

It might seem silly to others, but this was An's favorite birthday present thus far. She was glad she could rely on someone like Mizuki to give her what she craved. Besides, Mizuki had lots of fun tickling her so it was a win-win situation~.

I watched Luca and GOD I loved it! It was really cute! I finished it like an hour ago but I already started formulating a Romerica AU lmao. My wifi keeps going down so why not keep myself busy by making loose notes for the AU??? I probably won't expand on this for a while, not until I finish the four other things I got lined up finished at least. So these might change once I revisit it. I am gonna make character design notes for them too but first practice Luca's art style before I ever draw em. Its just a really nice art style, kinda reminds me of claymation for some reason? I'm rambling, but whatever!

Lorenzo and Feliciano are sea monsters! They've lived on their own for a few years now after their grandfather had passed away. Lorenzo believes it was the humans' fault despite there being zero evidence pointing to this conclusion, but even so he's developed hatred for them. Lorenzo sabotages boats as his revenge.

Feliciano doesn't understand why his brother hates the humans so much. He actually finds them interesting. He knows their grandfather was very very sick and stands by his belief that humans did not kill him. Feliciano is very curious about the surface even though Lorenzo tells him not to be and tells him tall tales about scary things humans do to sea monsters.

Alfred is from America but his grandparents retired in Italy. So every summer, rather than going to his mom's like his brother does, he goes to Italy to keep his grandparents company, bring some more joy into their lives. He loves it in the little harbour town. He's made a some friends like Kiku and Ludwig; he first met Kiku as he lives there and then Ludwig when he started coming to the town for the summer with his older brother.

One day, Feliciano decides to disobey his brother's orders and tries to at least poke his head above the water. But a fisherman catches sight of him! Lorenzo is there to ruin the fisherman's boat but he sees his little brother instead. Feliciano is too afraid to move after the fisherman throws his harpoon at him(and misses), even when he's taking advange of the situation and driving the boat over to him, net at the ready. Lorenzo thinks as fast as possible and jumps into the air from water, distracting the fisherman. [Then I dont know how they end up out of the situation or in the town lol, I'll think of this later]

Some silly interactions I thought of that may add character to them and be a basis for development for the boys~

"Awe! Nice to see my little Al is making more friends. You know, Al has such a hard time making friends. Why, Arthur tells me sh—"

"soooo," jisung sat beside felix on the grass ground, the latter too busy scribbling notes on his parchment to even give his companion a reply.

"ahem."

still, felix kept scribbling, his eyebrows furrowed and his hands aching a little bit but despite the pain he still kept on writing.

jisung rolled his eyes before snatching the parchment out of felix's hand, the latter yelping from the sudden intrusion.

"can I have my notes back?"

"not until you tell me why you and a certain slytherin are sneaking behind everyone's back to, y'know, do the deed," jisung wiggled his eyebrows for emphasis.

"I'm not sneaking behind your backs with a slytherin and I'm certainly not doing anything! now can I have my notes back?"

the hufflepuff crossed his arms with a small huff.

"oh come on! you're literally obvious enough for someone as stupid like me to notice! plus, you've been studying your potions notes for so long, you need a break."

"my grades are already disappointing, jisung, I don't want snape to tell me how hopeless I am again," felix, still frustrated, decided to just watch the water move in the black lake. he didn't want to look at jisung either because he knew the moment he looks at him, jisung will know that whatever his assumption about felix and a certain slytherin is true and that doesn't sound too good.

"lix, just be honest with me, ok? look I don't care if you're dating a slytherin and I won't meddle with it but at least tell me if it's true? as your best friend?"

"you're taking advantage of my soft heart, stop it."

"if you really love me? please?"

felix groaned, he should've expected this from jisung. but it won't hurt to tell him the truth, right? jisung may have a loud mouth but he knows when to not talk about something so private. it's not like felix has a choice anyway, either jisung starts to sulk at how he's not felix' best friend anymore or he keeps pestering him to talk.

"fine."

jisung squeals, jumping from his seat to get closer to felix, "so, who is it?"

felix heaved a shaky breath, his eyes casted downwards with his fingers fiddling with each other.

"y/n black."

"merlin's beard!" jisung gasp, his eyes dramatically wide and his hands covering his mouth for effect, "as in, sirius black's daughter!?"

"y-yes."

"you are one hell of a lucky guy, my friend! I mean, damn, y/n's a snack!"

"shut up!"

although jisung's reaction wasn't the best he can get, he was still glad that he was alright with it. god knows what he'll do if his best friend doesn't approve of you. speaking of you, he's also glad that you didn't mind that jisung knows about them.

"are you sure it's ok?"

"yes, lix, now come here and give me them hugs," you opened your arms wide for felix, the said man falling on top of your chest, "he's you're best friend, anyway, he's ought to find out sooner or later."

"I'm kind of glad that I don't have to make excuses or lies to him anymore," felix nuzzles his head on your neck, smiling at the chuckle that he got out of you.

suddenly, you felt felix tensed against you, his fingers started tugging on your sleeves and he keeps moving uncomfortably, shifting from positions to another one.

"lix, what's bothering you?"

he shivered at your low voice, decided to confide in you because he knows you'll do anything to tell you what's bothering him. you knew him too well to not see pass his lies. he pushes himself up on his elbow, so he can see your face while he talks.

"y/n... I know we decided to keep this relationship a secret to keep me from the other slytherin's prying eyes but... "

"but?" you coo at him to continue, hands running through his hair.

"I... I want everyone to know about us... I just- I just don't want to keep sneaking around and I really want to be able to hold you even if there's a lot of people around... please?"

"a-are you sure? I mean, I want the same thing too but the other slytherins will surely give you a hard time and I really don't want you to get hurt."

felix feels his chest compress from your soft tone, his heart thumping from the love and concern you're giving him.

"I know, but what's a relationship without a little hardship, yeah? I'm sure about this, y/n, and I won't let those annoying snakes to get in the way, I promise."

and so the two of you decided on small things. it started with holding hands while entering the great hall, and while it did made the other houses smile at the weird pair and the shared affection (jisung couldn't stop squealing in delight), you did got some dirty looks from the slytherins. but that did not waver you from your plans.

"damn it, black, I knew you're charming and all but you got yourself the most cutest and purest guy! and when did this even happen!?" minho pouted, stabbing his chicken with the silver fork in his hands.

"so that's where you've been running off to," chan snickers at your flushed face.

"shut up, I've got more to do."

"what do you mean- y/n get your feet off the table, there's food!"

mimho's shouting definitely caught the attention of everyone in the great hall, even the professors are looking. felix looks at you, confused.

"mr/ms. black! please get down from the table now before I take points from your house!" professor mcgonagall shouts at you from the front.

"sorry, professor, but I'm in love at the moment and I have to get this out before anyone tries to steal my little flower."

felix flushed when he realized your intentions. jisung gasped, slapping his shoulder repeatedly in delight while the other houses grinned at your silliness. you cleared your throat, pointing your the tip of your wand at your throat to let your voice be heard by the whole room.

"so, as you all can see, I'm about to declare my undying love for a certain hufflepuff. I'm dating the most cutest, smartest, and definitely the most handsome guy in this school and that's lee felix. so if I ever hear anything about you asses trying to steal my flower away I'm gonna have to hex you each and every one of you until y'all learn to get away from what's mine," you send felix a very obvious wink, the said man flushing deeply and covering his face with the both of his hands from embarrassment.

"and yes, that cute and fine ass is mine too."

"y/n!"

the whole great hall was rendered laughing, either from how embarrassing you are or they find it cute that you're confidently declaring your love for felix.

"30 points from slytherin and detention later, mr/ms. black."

(1/4)I have NO idea where this came from, but I headcanon that Clarus had Gladio, initially, to keep Regis from running off to "borrow" other people's babies and toddlers. Like, if there's a cute baby Gladio waddling around why should King Regis feel the need to dart off after other children? Right? Right. At least, that was his theory, and y'know, for a while? It worked. Buuuuuut then the King had Prince Noctis and suddenly, while Gladio was still super cute and probably a chunky little monkey.

Like, Clarus having to chase Regis around all the time, having to basically capture this stupid ass of a prince or king (according to the time they’re in), having to drag him all the way back to the Citadel and into where he’s supposed to be because he can’t behave like an adult omg you’re X years old why do I have to drag you around ilke you’re 3!?

And then he just gets exhausted of this shit because GODDAMMIT REGIS STOP >:(

But Regis isn’t stopping. He LOVES children and babies, he wants to pinch the cheeks of every toddler he finds and he wants to make stupid baby voices at, well, babies. This is like Noctis going after kitties except completely uninhibited and totally hyperactive so it’s 1,000,000 times worse. 

And this one day, Clarus gets super upset and half drunk and he’s ranting all his troubles to Cor.

“I swear to the Six, Cor. I love him. I really do, I adore him, I would give my life for him not as a Shield but as a brother and friend. But he’s exasperating at times. Do you know how many times I’ve had to chase him around because he runs off just to say hello to a two-year-old around the corner? I’ve tried everything, Cor. I even tried putting on one of those backpack-leashes on him to see if he felt embarrassed enough to finally understand. Did it work? I’ll tell you what it worked for.”

He takes in another shot of alcohol.

“It only worked to have me face-planting in front of like five different mothers. You know, Cor, this is ridiculous. I get toddlers are cute and everything, but Regis has an obsession. It’s like...babies are a flame, and he’s a moth. He just...” *gestures* “beelines straight to them. He want to go to work, but no. Babies that is. You know what, Cor, if that’s what works, I’m gonna do that. Like how some people make their dogs walk into their cages by putting a sausage there? I’m gonna do that. If I need to put a baby in his office so he stays there, I’m gonna do it.”

Clarus turns to look at Cor.

“Could you please make a baby?”

“What!?”

“Cor, I need it.”

“I-I’m just twenty two! I don’t have- I’m not prepared to be a dad! I don’t even have a wife, I don’t even have a girlfriend- I don’t even want one!”

“Right. But someone must have a baby soon. Say, I’m just...gonna go ask in the Citadel.”

And that’s how a half-drunk Clarus phoned EVERYONE who works at the Citadel to ask if they could “please make a baby”.

And everyone said no. Some were too old, some didn’t want, some already had kids and didn’t want more babies.

So Clarus gives up at first, hahahaha. He’s like “Okay, I may have exaggerated, I don’t need a baby to keep Regis here.”

But honestly he’s tried everything else, and Regis is still running off constantly and at every damn second, Clarus needs to do something. He finally goes mad when Regis once warped away while giving an interview for live TV to go say hi to a baby (she was extra cute, Clarus!! EXTRA CUTE!!).

“Cor?”

“Yes?”

“I need a wife >:(”

Maybe Clarus chooses to be a single daddy and just rents a womb and that’s why we know nothing on a mommy! I think there’s nothing wrong on being a single mommy or daddy (that’s still family!) so maybe Clarus was one of those who wanted kids but not a partner c:

So one day he’s walking around and he tells Cor about how he’s expecting a baby and Cor is like “haha, he thinks I’m going to believe he’s having a baby  just to keep Regis in his office.”

And then nine months later Clarus is like “Yo, Cor, my baby’s born, do you want to come see him? He’s so cute :)” and Cor at first is like “Omg he did it? Nah man he just wants to pull a prank on me. But I’ll go see what’s up- woh there’s a baby there.”

Just like trapping a doggo in its cage with a sausage, as soon as Regis sees the baby he’s following him around and sitting there for hours to poke him and make him laugh, and Regis is just so hypnotized omg it worked. And Cor is so upset but so amazed at the same time because it worked. This stupid fucking plan, this stupid, stupid silly dumb plan, it worked. Why. WHY did it work hngndnfnf

There’s baby Gladio, sat on Regis’ desk because there’s no other way Regis will stay in his office. Baby Gladio on Clarus’ lap during Council meeting because there’s no other way Regis will be there on time. There may be a few troubles on Regis not focusing now because he’s busy using a pencil to pretend it’s a mustache to make baby Gladio laugh, but at least now he’s there on time, this idiot.

(more like death by very slow oxygen deprivation, but still.) this is also why he wears a scarf all the time, it hides his gills. seems silly, but this is alternia, and I get the impression they wouldn't tolerate a mutation like that in a seadweller. not sure why. /sarcasm>>

<here's why i do not get the impression he seriously wants to accomplish that goal. for one, you don't keep commissioning the same troll who keeps giving you devices that fail. for two, you also probably don't commission a landdweller to make the device to kill all landdwellers, since there's a very strong likelihood that they'll sabotage the device to begin with out of basic self-preservation. for three, he makes exceptions. now, admittedly, we all saw how well that turned out in the end, but i am not getting into it about the meteor yet. and, okay, i do need to reread canon because it's been a couple years since my last readthrough, but i can't recall him ever actually giving a reason beyond "landdwwellers suck" (paraphrased heavily, i'm sure) in the comic itself. which isn't really a reason.>>

This year is a bit of a mixed bag, to be honest! After years of mental health struggles I finally started receiving help for it last year, and this year I've really felt the impact of that. So much impact, in fact, that this September I finally returned to college! Which of course promptly slurped up pretty much all of my free time, but ah well. I've tried to make up for it by doing daily drawing challenges, including my first ever full Inktober! Considering that my previous record from 2016 or so was 6 days... Well, a full month was pretty dang good! Also lots of Pokemon Amethyst stuff here at the tail end of the year, finally getting through that old project. Also I totally prepared this whole post earlier this month lmao. Held off until I saw a layout come around, and so I had something good to put into December. JANUARY: 3 whole drawings this month, and one of my favorites from this year too! Something about this piece just really does it for me, ngl. Also did a bunch of fanfic writing this month, based on the multiple one-shots I have with upload dates from January, and also the fact that I was writing a chapter a week as part of my executive dysfunction therapy thingy. FEBRUARY: 3 drawings, but overall less productive. Not much writing (or, well, compared to the surrounding months), and the art pieces were mostly simple or took longer than they should've. Still, nothing to complain about! MARCH: Somewhere around here I finished my first multi-chapter fanfic ever, counting 15 chapters and over 50.000 words! I was really excited about it, pretty much bouncing out of my chair when I declared it done. It absolutely stunned me that I wrote *that* many words, that I managed to complete a project of that size. (it's pretty dang impressive if you look at where I came from, but I have since finished a 60k and a 90k fic, so...) APRIL: Not only do I have 4 art pieces for April, I also have a *ton* of writing. Besides my usual weekly chapters I joined the Phic Phight (a DP fandom event similar to Art Fight but for fanfic writers), so I wrote an additional 8 one-shots for a total of 34.000 words this month. Yeah, it was a productive hecking month, and it kind of set the tone for my next few months, proving to myself what I was capable of. MAY: Wow, lots of pieces to pick from this month. After doing the Phic Phight the previous month, I decided to keep the writing train going, and started writing two chapters of fanfic a week. One for Weirdward, my next major project after Disinterred (which finished posting this month), but also one for What A Nice Surprise, which followed up Disinterred in my weekly update slot. Really productive month, really, lots of writing and drawing and experimenting with styles! JUNE: The end of my year-long fusion project! This year was very important for me, art-wise, because I finally got to finish projects I started. Which may sound a little silly, but with my executive dysfunction, I usually lost interest in projects before I got anywhere close to finishing them. Really satisfying in that aspect. Also continued to carry on my 2 chapters of fanfic a week thing. JULY:[1][2] Not much finished stuff this month, kinda let myself take a break there. Still wanted to keep up the 'draw at least 1 thing a week' thing, but kinda eased up on how cleaned up it had to be, especially since I didn't want to start a new project so close to school. Mostly played around with my superhero setting/world/thingy, to be honest! Don't have much experience with designing their outfits, so that was fun to play around with. Figuring out their aesthetics and how to knit those into superhero-esque outfits. (except for Hornet. she's an ex-villain who never changed her costume) This month also saw the end of What A Nice Surprise, my one-shot which spiraled completely out of control, and ended up beating Disinterred in word count. A neat 12 chapters and 62.000 words, there. Also we broke the heat records around here so yeah, I took some time for myself to just melt in peace, lemme live. AUGUST: Not a whole ton of art to be honest, but this ensemble pic right here was a real joy, and I really like the Totodile piece as well. I officially finished writing Weirdward, my (currently) longest fanfic, at 22 chapters and 91.000 words! And I wrote a shorter multi-chapter over July and August as well (Play Your Part, at 6 chapters and almost 25.000 words). SEPTEMBER: I'm gonna be honest, this was the month I started school again after 2 years of doing basically nothing. It was a lot of getting used to that again, let's be real. I have nothing major to show off for this month, art-wise. Outside of art, getting to start school again was a major achievement for me; finally recovering far enough (mostly through art) that I could go back. And I've done well, so far! OCTOBER: I did Inktober! Pen-based stuff, yes, but the first year I managed longer than a week. A full month, even! I also finished my longest one-shot yet (Surreptitious, counting 35.000 words), and wrote a couple of fics for EctoberWeek to celebrate my first full year of fanfic writing. Didn't quite manage the full week thanks to school, but still, 20k words is nothing to sneeze at. NOVEMBER: Inktober TWO!!! No but for real, I started off the month by finishing my last Inktober piece, and then immediately transistioned into doing daily drawings of Amethyst Fakemons. Not _quite_ every day, but I still 11 of them done before the new Pokemon games dropped, so. Pretty solid, especially since most of them were in color. I also played through Pokemon Sword in its entirety, and wrote a 12.5k fic over the span of a single weekend for a Phandom event. So, y'know, not too shabby. DECEMBER: Well, this month isn't over yet, so... Doing another traditional art challenge, this time Pokecember, although I'm only doing a single Fakemon a day. Also finished planning out the entire Amethyst dex AND region (including encounters), so! (well, okay, I still need to sort in 'regular'/unchanged/canon Pokemon but shh) And hey, look, actual digital art!
