I know it won't happen because the show is allergic to interesting character dynamics but I think it would be cool if instead of going back to Homelander (who he obviously doesn't feel entirely safe with now), Ryan got one of The Boys out of prison or found Annie and actually had a semi-healthy role model for once in his life
