     The time of rebirth has once again graced our gardens with the gift of blooming flowers and washed away the winter chills from a season now long gone. And, with such hope at our doors, what better way to welcome it in than with a festival located on the moon! 

     For this wonderful change of the seasons, muses of the Smash RPC will have the chance to partake in the Florescentia Festival starting on April 11th and ending the next day after, April 12th. A two-day event filled with games, food, drinks, prizes, and memories to be made! Learn the story that gave birth to the event, test your limits in a 3,000-metre, item-high race track running across the moon! Challenge your friends to see who can climb a low-gravity obstacle course faster, or see which tug-o-war team will come out on top! Competitive contests, co-op games to grab a buddy for, or casual activities for the down to earth.

Hello! Super happy you’re interested! Now, I’ll cut the sell and give you what you need to know. This event was set up by @pyonward and me! On behalf of both of us, we hope you have a great time! 

The event’s scenario is this: a springtime celebration happening upon the Mushroom Kingdom’s moon, that of which has been decorated for a colorful celebration. Don’t worry about the grey outdoors of the moon seeming like a bit drab for something so colorful as Spring. Warp Pipes and Launch Stars will take you to nearby planetoids more fitting for the games and events muses can partake in, and casual events will be scattered all about, be it on the moon proper or the aforementioned planetoids. Speaking of, here is a list of the available events.

Competitive: 3,000-meter Kart race (Race across the moon with items on high!) Climb to the top of The Sunscraper (Jump up in a platforming challenge. First to the top wins!) Tug-o-war (Grab some friends and pull, pull, pull!) Scavenger Hunt (Find the most eggs! Each have some extra prizes inside, too!)

Casual: Face Painting Egg Painting Food Stalls Drink Cart Costume Stalls Karaoke   Photo Booth

2v2: Three Leg Race (Get to the goal before the opposing duo with timing and teamwork!) Pie throw (Keep your teammate supplied by whipping up pies for them to throw!) Cake Building (One handles prepping the cake for the other’s toppings. Build the most to win!)

There will also be a storytime with Rosalina telling the tale behind the festival for those interested. It’s an original one stemming from The Hare of Inaba. It’ll explain why in the world we’re celebrating spring on the moon, promise. 

Reaching the moon will be as easy as jumping into a Warp Pipe outside Princess Peach’s castle, no entrance into the castle needed! The moon and the surrounding mini planets will have breathable air, as well, so no need to worry about that. The Moon we’re visiting is the Moon Kingdom from Super Mario Odyssey, so if you need a visual for the area your muses are in, take a peek at that region. Honeylune Ridge has become the main event hall for the trip! Inside will be food, casual games, drinks, and a Warp Pipe leading to the 2v2 game area. Outside the building will be Launch Stars ready to send you flying for competitive game planets.

The rules of this event are going to be rather relaxed, as it’s supposed to be a mini-event happening across the dash. Anyone with a Super Smash Bros. verse can have their muse participate. Have your muse react to the new locale and write them enjoying the games, food, and festivities with friends! You don’t have to be following cosmcther or pyonward to take part. Again, this is supposed to be a fun two days! Non-mutuals are plenty welcomed. And, finally, please use the tag #smasheasterevent to organize any posts for the event. It makes it easier for anyone trying to go through and find interactions, or if you don’t want to see posts relating to the event.
