"A haven for the deceased..."
There was something so touching to Dorian about that notion, that even in death, he'd managed to not only find happiness, but bring happiness to others by opening his home to everyone in need of a place to rest their weary bones, be it temporarily or permanently...that his home, which had seldom felt warm like a home should, more like an art gallery and garden with bedrooms (never lived in, always immaculate, polished, perfect, just like he had to be), became a happy home for so many others...
Boy, wouldn't that frost his family's hides...their perfect little home, in which the elite, the wealthy, the like-minded passed through (with very few exceptions made), becoming a home for everyone, even those who didn't fit that bill...they must've rolled in their graves when that happened!
"Well, I'm very glad we got to meet again in the future," Dorian smiled warmly; even if it may not have been under the happiest of circumstances, it was good to know that they had found each other again in the future, that they were able to make some happy memories, even post-mortem...it seemed like it might've even paved the way for Emily's return, traveling back in time (even if those circumstances were still unclear).
"How do you think it happened?" Elizabeth questioned, wanting to know if Emily had any sort of theory in regards to their current situation. "Your...time travel, I mean. If you had to guess."
