She was so...small. Hatius wondered if all infant children could just...comfortably fit in someone's arms like a king-sized bed the way she had. Did all of them have eyes so big? Were they all so grabby and eager to claim whatever they please?

There was almost the temptation to send another toy to the Navkan princess's child. Almost. But Hatius stopped himself. Doing that would practically look like a proposal, in the eyes of gossipmongers. And he's dealing with enough whispers as is.

...He simply had no clue why he felt as though the little creature was almost worth that trouble.
