(( You know, I was going to answer this agonizing over how much trouble the question gives me, namely because I seldom play or watch anything with a soundtrack that I could even associate with Miranda, and of those that I do, it's due to already being fish-themed ( Blue Planet, Chased by Sea Monsters, Dredge, Endless Ocean, etc ). But then I realized I have been using a song from a movie soundtrack as a defacto theme for her this entire time.

Don't You?#(( about being crushed by a system you tried to appeal to and tried to get ahead of #(( about rotting alive and festering and doing it willingly because. haha. what else are you going to do?#(( where else are you going to go? who else is going to take you in?#(( its about a form of self hate that doesnt even briefly glorify yourself with ending the pain or making yourself more honorable #(( you deserve the worst and thats what you are getting #(( and i think about it many many many times just in terms of #(( within the merkingdom and within the system of the merkingdom #(( how it prioritized and burned into miranda's mind a kill switch #(( that she will happily and willingly die when they tell her to #(( she is an object and she can be turned off when they dont need her anymore #(( she is replaceable and she is important only through her relationship to this system #(( so that miranda would not fight and would not resist when it comes to putting her down #(( she would not doubt and she would not question and she would lay down and take it because thats what good princesses do #(( her purpose now is to die and she will do it with the same compulsion and grace that she did with every other duty and demand
