(a very late valentine's day special) how twst characters would fall in love with you!

okay, so when i created this blog last year, i didn't have much time to write something for valentine's day, but i thought that i should try and write something for it this year!

at first i wanted to write something like "how twst characters would confess their love for you", i wanted it to be a reference to the "how twst characters would react to your love confession" series i made back when i just created this blog and i still only have the heartslabyul, savanaclaw and octavinelle hcs. i am sorry. but to be honest, i didn't have a lot of ideas and it was hard to find inspiration, so i decided to go with something different. but who knows, maybe i'll actually write it one day! also i know that this idea is very basic and i'm sorry.

this post has all nrc students (except ortho) + rsa and nbc characters, so GET READY BECAUSE THIS IS GONNA BE A VERY LONG POST.

also i'm having some really bad internet problems rn and even though i can use mobile data, EDITING ON MY PHONE IS A PAIN. I CAN'T DO ANYTHING. and idk when wifi will start working again and i'll be able to use my computer again, so sorry if this post looks weird, has typos and stuff like that, I JUST WANT TO POST IT ALREADY. ♡ he doesn't understand you at all. you should be afraid of him, you should actually hate him for what he did and how he acted earlier. he was the first to overblot in front of you, he's sure it was quite a traumatic memory from you. and it's not like he treated you better than he treated other nrc students, he was just as willing to punish you for any "misbehavior". so why.. why do you still want you and riddle to become closer? you simply don't think that riddle actually had bad intentions, he just genuinely thought that everything will be okay if he just follows the rules and makes others follow them. so.. you don't think he's a bad person or anything like that. just someone who has a lot of issues and doesn't know how to deal with them properly. and after you say that.. riddle starts feeling very strange.

♡ falling in love with you feels so sudden, riddle doesn't remember being this interested in you when he first met you. he has to admit that he even kind of.. looked down on you back then and didn't think you were that special. though the case of you being the only magicless student here really was special. he also was angry at you because of you being so close with ace and deuce.. but now, he feels different. as he learns more about you and starts getting used to your company, he realizes that he actually likes you a lot. he even admires you, because it must be hard to deal with so much stuff as someone who's magicless he's sorry for being the first to overblot btw. he's always here if you need any help.

♡ why did he fall in love with you? well, you're certainly a very smart, strong and kind person, but the main reason was.. he was just happy to be understood by someone. he didn't expect you out of all people to forgive him, but it sure was a nice surprise. you're always here to calm him down when he's close to using his unique magic or yelling at someone for breaking the rules again, however, you don't blame him for acting like that and you say that his feelings are valid, he just has to find a better way to express them and process them. so.. it probably just feels nice to be seen as someone other than a rose-red tyrant.

♡ as someone who said some pretty bad things about you and grim when you first met.. wow, it feels embarrassing to admit that he has a crush on you now. imagine making fun of a magicless human and then falling in love with them. yeah, that's ace. so, how did it happen? he's not sure when exactly he got feelings for you, it just.. happened. you two became so close, he actually couldn't imagine spending a day without you. everything just feels so boring when you're not around. pranking you or showing off to you or just talking to you makes his day, even if it's just you going "ACE D:<", he loves seeing your reactions.. and maybe, he loves you.

♡ it's hard to notice him acting any different when he's in love with you, but if you pay closer attention, you can see him blushing after you praise him for something or you can notice him asking you to hang out with him more often. he also sometimes freezes for a moment when you call him your friend, it's almost like he's asking you ".. but are you sure you don't wanna be more than friends?". but right after that, he goes back to his usual behavior and he's surprisingly good at hiding his crush on you.

♡ falling in love with you feels fun and kinda sad at the same time, because even though ace tries so hard to act confident and he claims that you love him just as much, he's actually not sure if you love him back or not. he doesn't mind being seen only as a friend, being friends with you is cool, but also.. yeah, he wants more. and he's not sure if he's ready for a serious relationship, considering what he did in the past to that girl he used to date. he knows that he would never do that to you, because you're so much cooler than that girl and you're much more interesting, but he also doesn't want to let you down. but if you do love him back.. he will try his best to treat you right, though it doesn't mean that you will be safe from his teasing and his pranks.

♡ out of all the heartslabyul boys, i imagine deuce being the one to get a crush on you earlier than all the others. you're just so nice and sweet and understanding.. you also didn't judge him after you heard about his past and even said that you're proud of him for trying to change and become a better person. after that, deuce couldn't get your words out of his head and became extremely loyal to you, he's always here if you need any help and he feels so happy when you praise him or want to spend time with him.

♡ it's very easy to notice him having a crush on you, honestly. he tries really hard to hide it, but he fails and ace laughs at him every time. he can't say anything properly when you compliment him or smile at him and he starts stuttering, giggling like an idiot or he simply runs away and ends up tripping and falling. it makes him even more cute though and you can give him more attention to get more reactions like that from him or you can pretend not to notice on purpose.

♡ falling in love with you feels like something completely new and that's understandable, deuce has never experienced a feeling like this before. and even though at first it was just a very huge crush, now it actually feels like something more deep, it's like.. he really is in love with you. spending the rest of his life with you sounds scary and he's not sure if he's ready for something like this, but when he imagines it, it makes him feel soft and even kind of excited. he will understand if you reject his feelings, he has not the best past, but if you say yes to him, he will try to become the perfect boyfriend for you. he already knew that he wants to become a better person for his mom, but now he has two people in his life that he wants to change for.

cater diamond.

♡ when cater first met you, he thought you were cute but.. that was it. he didn't think much of you, honestly. don't get him wrong, he thought you were very cute and he would love to be friends with you! but.. he really didn't think that he's gonna fall in love with you later. he just enjoyed hanging out with you, talking to you, he loved the way you smile, he loved the way you laugh and.. wait, that's just him thinking you're cute, right? but not, like, in that way, right? because cater doesn't think he's quite ready to admit that he has feelings for you.

♡ cater is not sure how exactly it happened and why he got a crush on you. it's like.. he just feels more safe around you. it's like he can actually show you his real self and you won't judge him. of course, he's still not sure that you would actually be okay with him acting like his real self and he doubts that you would even like that side of his.. but for some reason he still feels like he can trust you. so he may or may not drop a few hints that make you go "cater. dude. are you okay." no, y/n, he's not okay, this poor man needs a hug.

♡ falling in love with you feels exciting and terrifying at the same time. cater feels truly happy when he's with you, he manages to forget about his problems at least for some time and his smile looks a lot more sincere than usual. but he's also.. scared. he doesn't think that you will love him back once you find out about his real personality, maybe you will accept it, sure, but would you really want a boyfriend like that? honestly, he should be grateful for you wanting to spend time with him even when he's being his "fake" self. he shouldn't ask so much from you, he should thank you for even just being friends with him. so whenever cater hears you laugh at his jokes, he feels genuine happiness but only for a second before he remembers that you will most likely never love him as much as he loves you. or will you?..

♡ just like cater, trey thought you were a nice person, but he didn't think you were.. you know.. his future love or something like that. he thought you were cute and he was always there to suggest his help if you needed it, but he really just thought that you two are gonna be friends and that's all. okay, maybe you two will be close friends. like, very close friends. but that's it. trey gave you so much attention and he had a habit to get a little bit too worried about you for no reason at all, but he thought that you're just.. well.. another younger sibling figure to him (your actual age doesn't matter). why else would he care so much about you?

♡ falling in love with you feels confusing for sure, but it also feels soft and sweet. trey may be a local mom friend who's always here to help his underclassmen out, but he has no idea what to do with his own feelings. should he just confess to you already or should he wait a bit? wait, do you even love him back? he has so many questions but almost no answers. but if you do love him back, trey will most likely notice it eventually. he's a smart boy, he had no idea that he actually has romantic feelings for you, but if you have a crush on him, he will definitely find out about it and when he does, he might start teasing you even more often.

♡ oh boy. this guy definitely didn't expect to fall in love with you. no, he didn't expect to even become friends with you. you were just a weak little herbivore to him, nothing special, nothing out of ordinary. you were very a bit annoying sometimes too. but when you started saying things like "i want to get to know you better" or "i want to talk to you more".. that's when leona got very confused, though he didn't show it. why would you say things like that? what do you even want from him? is it because he's a prince? oh well, sorry to disappoint you, but he's actually a younger- "i just want to know why you're so lazy all the time.".. okay, this wasn't the answer he expected. he will tell you to go away, but don't pay attention to that, he's actually more interested in you now.

♡ leona just can't understand why you're like this. why do you spend so much time with him? why can't you just let him nap in peace? he actually jokes about you having a crush on him once and he expects you to go "h-how can you say things like that so casually!..". but you manage to surprise him again. "well what if i do? what are you gonna do then, huh?" okay, maybe he did underestimate you a little. just a little bit. you're slowly becoming more and more interesting and he hates to admit that he wants to know more about you. why? well.. he wants to know why you're so annoying all the time.

♡ falling in love with you feels weird, but also surprisingly entertaining. leona never knows what you're gonna do next and for some reason he even finds it exciting. he somehow manages to act like a tsundere and flirt with you at the same time. yes, he will go "ugh, why do you have to ruin my day like this" whenever you step on his tail while he's asleep, but he also will say things that make other savanaclaw students think that he's about to confess his feelings for you OR you two are actually already dating. does he know that he's in love with you though?.. he will need some time, but he will eventually realize it. and he's not gonna be happy about it.

♡ ruggie didn't really pay much attention to you at first, but he has to say that you're really fun to mess with. he never gets bored of seeing your reactions and sometimes he would steal stuff from you just to make you look at him. he knows that it probably sounds weird, but don't worry, he definitely doesn't have a crush on you, haha.. hey, why are you being so kind to him? why do you cook/buy food for him? why do you keep asking him if he needs any help? ah, maybe you just want a favor from him? you want him to help you with something, don't you? why would you have any other reason- "i'm just worried about you, that's all." oh no. oh no he's about to catch feelings.

♡ your kindness scares ruggie a bit, but he also keeps wanting more. he doesn't understand your motives, he doesn't understand why you're so worried about him. you just say things like "oh, i thought you were tired from doing leona's job all day" or "i thought you looked tired, so i just want to help you out, if that's okay". they may sound like nothing special, but ruggie feels weird whenever he hears you say stuff like that. he just jokes about you being too pure for someone like him, but he's actually kind of serious about it. are you sure you want to be friends with him? or.. maybe you're actually in love with him? don't worry, he's just joking around~

♡ falling in love with you feels fun at first, but it slowly starts becoming more and more scary when ruggie realizes just how deep and strong his feelings are. it's not just a small crush, he really is in love with you. he can't stop thinking about you and not a day passes without him wanting to see you. it feels strange to be treated so well without any reason at all, but ruggie just can't say no to your kindness. even though he keeps trying to make it look like it's nothing serious and you're just friends, he's actually this close to crying because he feels like he will never have a chance to be with you and you will never love him as much as he loves you. why would you even have feelings for him anyway?

jack howl.

♡ savanaclaw boys wouldn't find you that special when they first meet you and jack is not an exception. he thought you still have a long way to go and you have to put more effort in what you do. he also thought you looked too weak and "fragile", so he made sure to remind you to train more often, if you can, or to just take better care of yourself. i-it's not like he's worried about you. it just bothers him that you always look so tired all the time and it doesn't look like you get enough sleep too..

♡ however, you manage to impress jack and he's surprised to find out just how hardworking you really are. no matter what happens or how hard your life in twisted wonderland may get, you still try to achieve your goals. sure, you may whine a bit and say that it's unfair for a magicless human like you to go through so much, but you still do what you have to, no matter how weak you look. jack sure finds you more impressive than leona and he doesn't even notice how fast he starts to admire you and even fall in love with you.

♡ falling in love with you doesn't feel like something special because jack isn't even aware of his own feelings at first. he just thinks you're very cool and he respects you a lot and wishes to help you whenever he can. he just always wants to be by your side and support you when you need it. you're much stronger than he thought you were when you two just met, but he still thinks that in a world like twisted wonderland.. you deserve to be protected. and he's more than willing to protect you from whatever life throws at you. he realizes that he's actually in love with you when he notices that he feels a bit weird when you're around. this feeling is warm, but also so confusing.. and whenever you say goodbye to him, he doesn't want you to leave. b-but that's just because he admires you a lot, right?

♡ azul didn't think you'd be that useful to him at first. it's not like he can make a deal with you or take your magic.. but still, being friends with a ramshackle prefect might actually help him in the future. so yes, he will try to become closer with you anyway. he's sure it will be easy to make you trust him, he just needs to make you believe that you can rely on him and who wouldn't want to have a friend like azul in such a scary world, especially as a human who has no idea how twisted wonderland works?.. well, it's actually not as easy as azul thought it would be.

♡ sure, you do want to become friends with him, but whenever he tries to help you with whatever you're struggling with (for a price, of course) or he tries to make himself seem as a kind person who genuinely wants to help others, you simply go "thank you, but i'm fine".. what do you mean, you're fine, y/n, he knows what crowley makes you do, just ask azul for help already! but as time passes, azul starts to notice that he actually wants to help you not because he needs you to make a deal with him.. but just because he really does feel bad for you and he wants to make your job at least a bit easier.

♡ falling in love with you feels strange and unexpected, azul wasn't prepared for this at all. he didn't think that he would actually become so attached to you, you were supposed to be another student who he can manipulate, so why do you feel like one of the most important people in his life now? he doesn't think that it's love at first, him thinking of you as his actual friend is already too much for him.. but then his overblot happens. and you forgive him for everything. and you tell him that no matter what, you accept him and even though he still has some.. um.. not so good qualities to work on, you'll be there to help him and support him. okay, maybe he actually is in love with you.

♡ jade thought you were an interesting and unique person right when he met you for the first time, but you were just that: an interesting and unique person. nothing more, nothing less. he would love to know more about you though, so don't be surprised if he starts talking to you more often or asking you more questions. this man wants to study you in a lab, okay. oh, and even though he sure does seem suspicious, he actually doesn't have any ulterior motives, unlike azul. he just can't go "hey, i like you, let's be friends', no, he has to act like his usual self that sometimes seems more dangerous than floyd.

♡ he doesn't even notice falling in love with you, but he sure notices becoming more interested in you for some reason. he always wants to know what you're up to, he wants to know more about your interests and he's always here if you need someone to talk to, whatever the topic is. he only starts thinking more about his feelings for you when floyd mentions jade being "totally in love with you". jade thinks floyd is just joking at first, but then floyd says that he was serious and jade's crush on you is more obvious than he thinks. and the funny thing is that.. jade is surprisingly casual about it. he just goes "oh. so i have a crush on them. okay". he never felt like this before, so he's a little confused, but it's not like he's about to have a breakdown because he just realized he's been in love with you this whole time.

♡ falling in love with you feels sweet and exciting. jade just thought you were a fun person when he first met you, but now it's hard for him to imagine his day without you. you've made him feel emotions he has never/rarely felt before. it's so unusual for him to worry about you, laugh at your jokes or be angry at someone who ruined your day. and trust him, all of those emotions are sincere. he's not pretending, you really made him feel all of this and even though he's not used to feeling this way, he can't wait to find out what else you're going to make him feel.

♡ just like his twin, floyd already thought you were interesting when he just met you. he always followed you everywhere, he kept pranking you just to see your reaction and he thought that you getting annoyed with him was cute. and he found you even more interesting after he realized that even though he kept messing with you, you still let him hang out with you and didn't ask him to leave. huh, so you actually like his company, shrimpy? well, he's glad to hear that~

♡ floyd's feelings for you don't feel like a crush at all at first. he just thinks you're cute and that's it, really. but for some reason, he really hates it when he has to leave or when you don't give him enough attention. sometimes he takes a break (he doesn't tell azul anything though) from his work at mostro lounge just to hang out with you and he feels bored whenever you're not around. he has no idea why he feels like this, but.. who knows, maybe he really does like you, hehe.

♡ falling in love with you feels fun and full of surprises. floyd has never felt this way before and even though this feeling can be kinda annoying sometimes and it doesn't go away, he wants your relationship to become deeper and he wants to have more fun with you. just being friends is not enough for him anymore. you became an irreplaceable and extremely important part of his world and he hopes you feel the same about him.

♡ kalim is kinda oblivious when it comes to crushes.. no, he's very oblivious. he really does believe he just likes you as a friend and even though it's true at first, as time passes, literally anyone can see that kalim treats you even better than people who he calls his friends. and considering how kind and friendly he is, this guy basically never leaves you alone even for a second and you get gifts from him every single day. he's constantly trying to come up with ways to make you happy and he thinks you have the most beautiful smile in the whole world. but yes, he definitely doesn't have a crush on you <3

♡ you and kalim would most likely have that friends to lovers dynamic. he's very easy to get along with and even though his energetic personality may be overwhelming sometimes, if he sees that you're tired or sad, he will tone it down a bit and ask you what's wrong. if you're not doing so well, he will genuinely worry about you a lot and he's okay with doing anything to make you feel better. he doesn't understand why your happiness matters to him so much, but.. maybe he just doesn't like it when someone is sad. and when YOU are sad, he feels like it's the end of the world and he has to do something about it immediately.

♡ kalim almost doesn't notice falling in love with you. he just thinks your friendship is becoming stronger and that's it. it's okay if he wants to hug you for a little bit longer, that's just because you're his best friend! it's okay if he wants to hold hands with you, he just doesn't want you to get lost and he's worried about you! it's okay if he wants to kiss you- oh. uh.. oh, you know, he means it in a platonic way! it's not like friends can't kiss each other! but if he actually wants to be more than friends with you.. would you be okay with that? wait, what is he even supposed to do with his feelings? maybe he should ask jamil for advice..

♡ jamil's case is actually even worse because if kalim at least knows that you two have a good relationship and that you are friends, jamil is like "?? idk who you are to me. can i trust you. can i call you my friend". he thought you were okay when he first met you, but didn't pay too much attention to you, though he certainly appreciated you being.. you know, a more "normal" person than most nrc students (especially kalim). he actually feels like he can rely on you, honestly. he won't talk to you too much though, who knows what you're really like jamil if you're hiding something it doesn't mean that everyone around you is like that

♡ jamil doesn't understand why he feels so strange around you. at first he feels like he can trust you, even though he still tries to stop himself and tells himself that you can easily stab him in the back. and why are you so nice to him? you're probably just trying to become friends because you think that having a close relationship with someone like him could be useful, right? well, he's not gonna fall for that. and stop praising him all the time already. he told you that he's just a vice dorm leader and his abilities are not that special- wait, why does he feel good after hearing your compliments. oh no. oh no, he doesn't want you to stop.

♡ falling in love with you feels scary and jamil doesn't want to admit that he sees you not only as a friend (though he won't tell you that), but also as someone who he loves and wants to be with. you actually listen to him, you give him love and attention that he always wanted and you recognize his talents, but you still think that they are not the only good things about him and jamil is also just a very good person who deserves to be loved. jamil doesn't feel like he's ready to open up to you just yet, but he really doesn't want to miss a chance to finally find someone who will care about him as much as he cares about them.

♡ your relationship with vil definitely had a rough start. he criticized you a lot, he told you to take better care of your appearance, health and all of that. you felt like this guy hates you and tried to avoid him as best as you could. however, you were wrong and even though vil still thought that you could do better and you have some things to work on, he didn't hate you. in fact, he thought you were an interesting person who has their own talents and abilities, but they have to work on them more so that they can achieve their goals faster. so yeah, he basically tried to motivate you, but he probably didn't do a very good job.

♡ other people can notice vil giving you quite a lot of attention but not in a good way. it means that he's especially harsh on you. most students start to agree with you and think that the guy hates you, but his vice dorm leader knows that it's not true at all. rook is sure that vil is being so rude just because he believes you're better than most nrc students and he wants you to reach your full potential. but wow, it really feels like vil is almost obsessed with you. rook mentions that vil almost never stops talking about you lately and vil says that it's not true- no, rook, don't even joke about vil having a crush on you.

♡ even though vil sure has a lot of braincells, he almost doesn't notice falling in love with you as well. he really thinks he's just mad at you for not "trying hard enough", but this guy actually cares about you a lot. it may seem like he's angry at you and he hates you, but he's actually just very worried. what do you mean your sleep schedule doesn't even exist. go to sleep already, don't you know what happens to your skin if you don't get enough rest?? no, he's not worried about your health, it's just. uh. anyway, what about your hair-

rook hunt.

♡ finally. finally someone who actually knows they have feelings for you. though it may take some time for rook to realize that he's in love with you and not just admiring your beauty, he still would understand his feelings for you earlier than most characters here. he understands how romance works better than them, okay. very chad behavior of him sure, he thinks all people are beautiful in their own way, but you feel a little bit more special to him. his heart beats faster around you and he finds it hard to take his eyes off you. he never felt like this before around other students or people in general.

♡ rook would be very affectionate with you, however, he would take his time and wouldn't confess his feelings for you that early. he wants his confession to feel unique and special, he has to be prepared for that moment! he also needs some time to learn more about you. he wants to get to know you better, he wants to know what kind of person you are, how you see the world and he hopes that this way he will be able to predict your reaction to his confession. but of course, he doesn't do it just to earn your trust, he really is curious and wants to know more. you're just so interesting to him, he wants to know what exactly made him fall in love with you this hard.

♡ falling in love with you feels like a fairytale. it's so magical and exciting, rook wishes he never stops feeling this way. you are everything to him, all of his thoughts are about you and he's not complaining. he may joke about you distracting him from everything else, but he's actually more than happy and he doesn't mind being obsessed with you at all. yes, he may still compliment other people's beauty and talents, but don't worry, he has eyes only for you and he's more loyal to you than you think he is.

♡ unless you make fun of his height, call him cute too often or refuse to take him seriously, epel wouldn't mind your company at all. who knows, maybe you two can actually become friends. and you do become friends! how fun! epel didn't expect to get along with you so easily, but he's more than okay with it. he's glad to have someone he can trust enough to talk about his true feelings and show his true personality to. he's more open and honest with you and he feels like you would never judge him no matter what he does or says.

♡ this feeling slowly starts turning into deep love and affection for you, though epel doesn't seem to notice that and still thinks you're just a friend to him. but he does notice feeling a bit more anxious around you now. why? well, it's like.. he wants to become better for you. he wants to impress you. h-he doesn't have a reason for that, really. he just.. wants you to notice how great and talented he really is. he wants you to praise him and smile at hiim while saying that what he did was amazing. again, he doesn't have a reason for that. totally.

♡ falling in love with you feels sweet and bitter at the same time. epel feels safe when you're around and he feels like he can tell you anything, but he's also scared that you actually don't think he's that special. he does slowly start to realize he's in love with you and that makes him feel even more scared. he needs to become a better person for you, he needs to become stronger, he wants to become someone who can protect you, who can impress you and who you can rely on. so forgive him for taking some time to work on that, he promises that he will tell you the truth when he's ready.

♡ idia genuinely doesn't understand why you're so nice to him. it actually scares him a little and he never knows what to expect from you. you're not as extroverted as some other nrc students, like kalim for example, but you still always run to idia whenever you see him and try to talk to him more. what do you want from him? you're just doing this out of pity, aren't you? it's okay, you don't have to give him so much attention, idia loves being alone, also he has online friends, so it's not like he's a complete loner or anything.

Ash sorta starts to take pity on him and makes Gliscor put him down, but now whenever Ace shows up, Gliscor will always be there to swoop him into a 'hug'

as Sceptile stared at the poor boy, there was only one thought in his head

saw Krookodile and thought he was the coolest ever, especially with his sunglasses

enjoys watching Krookodile train with all of Ash's other strong/fully evolved pokemon, especially since he can record data for himself later

with such a wide movepool (knowing Dragon Claw, Aerial Ace, Dig, and Stone Edge) Ortho is in awe

100% the two would power up a death laser/Stone Edge in an attempt to destroy the school together

the amount of pictures he has with Krookodile is astounding, Idia is lowkey jealous

his personal fave is of him with Krookodile and they both have sunglasses on, looking cool

Trey: Ah, you mean, "Who's the best person you've met so far" and they didn't hesitate to say that it was you?

Ace: I was expecting it to be my name to be honest.

Deuce: Not a chance.

Ace: And so are you!

Ghost of a Chance 2

First Chapter

Lindon stared vacantly at the Wei Patriarch as he went on about bravery and honor. None of this made sense. Perhaps Yerin had found a way to reach him after all and he was currently hallucinating while in a medical coma, or maybe Harmony had returned to drag Lindon away to be tortured—Orthos did say the Akura were not honorable with their prisoners.

And what could be more tortuous than to make him relive the part of his life where he was weaker than everyone. 

[Hmm… no. I don’t think that’s quite right]

“Dross? Lindon thought with desperate hope.

[Unless you pulled another mind spirit into your soul when I wasn’t looking. You didn’t do that right? I feel like I would have noticed, but things did get a little weird when Ghostwater collapsed on us.]

Lindon thought of the bright vivid blue that had consumed the world only moments ago. It was easy to recognize now, or perhaps to remember, as the last time Lindon had experienced that sensation was right here— on the stage of the Seven Year Festival— after the Heavenly Messenger Suriel had shown him the outside world. 

He looked down to his hand, and saw the warm marble, clenched in his grasp. Whatever this was, he would handle it, and survive, and keep moving forward.

[Oh that’s good, like really good —the moving forward thing— because it’s starting to get a little awkward out here.]

Lindon pulled himself from his thoughts, and became aware of the murmuring of the crowd. Wei Jin Sairus had finished speaking, and the Unsouled had said nothing in response. He was risking his life with every second he disrespected the Patriarch by failing to answer.

He called out to the child elder of Heaven’s Glory, the words of the past flowing freely through his lips with the help of Dross. He needed to reach Yerin and Eithan, they would know what this was, they would know what to do, he just needed to survive to get to them.

Across the stage, Wei Jin Amon readied his spear. An Iron enforcer on the Path of the White Fox, Amon could move faster and hit stronger than Lindon could have dreamed of at this point in his life, his attacks would be false, tricks of madra that Lindon couldn’t even sense at this point in his life, but Lindon had his own trick up his sleeve.

Doss, battle plan.

[Ok, so the thing is, I’d love to give you a battle plan, and I absolutely will, when I can. Except I’ve never seen this man before in my life, let alone seen his path or how he fights. Also? Your spirit is super small and cramped right now, and it’s really limiting my abilities.] 

[Like, I didn’t want to say anything before, because I thought maybe you might be ashamed of it. Not that you should be! Just that I would totally understand being deeply, deeply, embarrassed by the state of your spirit right now, I mean— you only have one core, and it’s tiny! Not what I had imagined when I first met you at all! That's why I'm pretty sure this isn't a dream —because your spirit is so weak that is. Uncomfortably tight in here. Oh you should probably duck now.]

Lindon dropped to the ground, Amon’s spear swinging through the place where his neck had been merely a moment before. 

He hadn’t even used a technique.

Jeers from the crowd echoed in Lindon’s ears as he rolled to the side, out of the way of a thrust of Amon’s spear that threatened to pin his body to the stage. Panic finally receded enough for Lindon to push his wisps of madra through his body, cycling the Soul Cloak. His movements became smooth and intentional, carrying him gracefully out of his desperate roll and into a ready and waiting stance.

Amon rushed forward once more and Lindon moved almost as if he had the surety of an Iron body once again, slipping under the reach of Amon’s spear, landing an Empty Palm on his core, and slamming his foot against the side of Amon’s own in one fluid step.

Amon stumbled and fell to the ground, his fall due more to the unexpected disruption of his madra than the kick. It had taken two strikes to cause Mon Keth to lose his footing, but he had been an Iron for decades, and Amon was only recently advanced to his stage and less sure in his power for it.

He wasn’t the only one who stumbled though, as Lindon felt his core abruptly grow dangerously low. He hadn’t paid attention to how rapidly the Soul Cloak was draining his limited supply of madra, and his Empty Palm was far more efficient at delivering power than it had been back when he was truly Unsouled. Between the two techniques he had already consumed far more than he was used to.

Amon was already rising to his feet, his spirit beginning to recover, and Lindon began to panic. If he dropped the Soul Cloak he would lose, and if he kept it up he would only last enough to land maybe two—

[One]

—One more Empty Palm against his foe. He had to make it count, and had to land it before Amon had finished recovering. Lindon eyed the edge of the arena, and how close Amon’s fall had brought him. Defeating Amon traditionally wasn’t an option, he’d after to remove him from the stage. 

With the Soul Cloak enforcing him still, Lindon threw himself towards Amon. Like following the steps of a dance, Lindon rushed forward, body twisting even as his arm raised, ready to redirect the momentum of Amon’s spear thrust against him in order to land his own strike. 

Pain blossomed in his side as his arm passed through nothing. The Foxtail. Amon had decided to use his sacred arts after all. Lindon gritted his teeth and pushed forward— biting down on his cries as his movement caused the head of the spear to erupt out the other side of his body— but it was enough. He was close enough to thrust his spike of pure madra into Amon’s core, pushing everything he had into this last technique. 

Amon’s eyes went wide as his madra lost all cohesion and the enforcement technique running through his body fell apart. Lindon shoved, and Amon fell backwards across the boundary of the arena. He needed to be sure though, and with a scream Lindon pulled the spear free from his side, turning its bloody point against the throat of Amon.

“I win” he said, his words echoing in the silence of the Festival grounds, and then he collapsed into unconsciousness.

Idia x Silver [Twisted Wonderland]

Lilia was leaving. If it wasn't the most obvious thing in the world. Lilia had announced it himself at the third years' initiation conference where everyone had gathered to discuss their plans for the future, which was kinda something Idia hadn't exactly, well he hadn't liked the idea of it at all in the first place, and the other third years had made a huge ruckus about him being employed at Olympus. With Idia being the Keeper of the Underworld, family business and all that, it was only for a short term anyways, so he didn't see what they were so excited about. It wasn't anything of an achievement to speak of. His thoughts revolved more around his boyfriend, Silver.

 Lilia was his father, Silver had revealed that to him. Silver often talked about Lilia, and the childhood days spent with his loving, sometimes teasing fae father in the forest. Idia had only met Lilia a few times, and he reminded Idia of someone he knew fairly well online- no way, Muscle Kurenai and Lilia could never be the same person. Could they?

Muscle Kurenai had left gaming and all Idia wanted was to coop himself up in his room and cry, but then he thought of Silver. About how it must hurt him, the excruciating pain he must feel about his father leaving. Idia had never been close to his parents, but he knew Silver must be hurting. A lot. Silver just didn't show it. He had his usual stoic expression and understanding responses on default mode the whole time, but Idia could tell that he had the slightest of tears in his eyes. No one could really tell these small things about Silver, given that the prince-like boy always had the same, poker face almost everytime he spoke. His surprised expression, his happy expression were only shown with a slight widening of eyes or a small curve of his lips upward- things Idia never failed to catch. Silver had him head over heels for him, and there wasn't a thing about Silver he didn't know. At least he thought. 

Crap, I sound like some kinda shoujo protag rn, bye. 

He swerved around slightly on his gaming chair and stared at his computer screen, tears still fresh in his eyes as he ran his fingers over Muscle Kurenai's goodbye message. He wished he could meet him. Oh wait, even if he did, Muscle Kurenai wouldn't ever like him anyways. He was a useless, weird looking, lame, gloomy shut-in. 

Silver's words rang in his mind. 

You're not useless at all, Idia. You're very kind and have strengths of your own. I admire you for all of those strengths of yours. Do not put yourself down. 

Silver who needed him now. 

Idia, I love you. 

Silver who was on the verge of tears, back in the cafeteria, though he didn't really show it. 

If you are feeling down, I suggest we go for a walk. My father said it often helps. Don't worry, I know a place where people don't often go. I could perhaps introduce you to some animals? If that would help you. 

Silver who was trembling ever so slightly when his father revealed he was leaving forever, but regained his composure. 

I made you some coffee- don't push yourself too much. 

Silver needed him. Idia was down, sure he was, but more important than that, was the one person who always cheered him up when he was down. Idia knew he couldn't do it, he'd never talked comfortably to someone irl before Silver came along, and consoling someone was super ooc for him- but this was Silver he was talking about. He had to try. Silver always put his troubles aside and prioritized helping Idia. If he put Silver aside to prioritize himself, that'd make him the laughing-stock of the decade, maybe failure of the century. 

"Nii-san?" Ortho's worried voice reached his ears, a hint of concern in his eyes, but Idia didn't respond as he fidgeted with the sleeves of his oversized hoodie, eyes fixated on the screen. It was only after a long silence that he spoke. 

"Ortho, can you detect Silver on the campus for me?" Idia asked. Ortho immediately complied with his request and started a scan for Silver on the campus. 

"Target detected, 130 m away from the school main building." Ortho replied mechanically after a few minutes. He turned  to his elder brother for a possible response as to why he'd made Ortho detect Silver. 

"Thanks." was all Idia offered before he wiped his tears on his sleeves and dashed out. Ortho had almost never seen his brother like this, and it was quite surprising to him, concerning even. He just hoped nothing was wrong.

It took Idia a while to find where Silver was, given that he'd dashed off without his tablet or Ortho in a hurry, which was a stupid decision, maybe most stupid decision of his life, okay maybe not most since he'd done plenty of cringe things in his life. His legs were giving out from all the running, and as if that wasn't bad already, it started snowing. Where was Silver, for the Sevens' sake?! Frustration etched itself onto Idia's expression, but faded away as he heard low whimpers. 

"S-Silver??" Idia made his way carefully towards Main Street where Silver sat, stifling tears as he stared with blurry eyes at the white snow gathered under him. The snow was a pure and ethereal colour, just like Silver's soft hair, that Idia always liked to run his hand through, feeling Silver nuzzle into his touch as he slept on one of the many days that the knight slept over with the Ignihyde housewarden. 

"Idia-?" Silver's voice was shaky as he lifted glazed auroral eyes to look at him, as his arms trembled, from the cold or the pain, or maybe both. Idia felt his heart crack at the sight of Silver's tears, his heart wrenched as Silver tried to stop his tears. "I-I'm sorry about your online friend-"

"Stop." Idia placed a hand in the air to silence Silver then placed a hand on his cold, pale cheek. Silver seemed to ease up under his touch as more tears spilled from his eyes. "My online friend- I'll be emo over that later, kk? You need me rn and I'd be stupid to not notice that." Idia carefully pulled Silver into his chest, in a warm embrace. 

Silver leaned into him and wrapped his arms around Idia's waist. A warm feeling crept its way into Idia's heart as he ran his hand through Silver's hair, rubbing Silver's back with his other hand. 

"H-He's leaving-" it was rare to hear Silver stutter, and it absolutely crushed Idia's heart. "I-I was planning to repay him with m-my life- he'll be gone- Idia- what do I do?" Silver looked up at him with a mixture of inquisitiveness and hopelessness in his eyes, as if he were lost in a dream and wanted to wake up. Usually it was Idia who asked Silver to comfort him, not the other way around. He'd read lots of mangas and reverse comfort fanfics- but it was always puzzling to Idia, he had no idea what to say. What if he ended up saying something that'd hurt or annoy Silver?

Don't give up before you try. You can do it. 

Silver's soft voice reverberated in his heart. The very Silver who was crying now. Who was in so much pain he felt hopeless. Idia kissed Silver's forehead then placed his own forehead against Silver's, looking down at their intertwined hands as he ran a thumb across Silver's slender, bruised fingers, rough from training. 

"Honestly, idk either. I know you loved Lilia-shi a lot, and he's kinda my father-in-law too, technically. It hurts for me too, since Muscle Kurenai left. So, I'm prolly of the same mind as you. I mean, someone important leaving, thats literally a doom flag." Idia knew he wasn't helping at all. He was dumb. A dumb, stupid idiot. Still, Silver kept listening carefully to him, hanging on to each word. Oh, how Idia loved his prince. That gave Idia the strength to continue. 

"But, y'know, we can't exactly change things. Whoever's gonna leave, ends up leaving. We feel like we're useless and all that stuff at the time but- we didn't sign them up for the angst genre. Nor can we actually convince them to stay. And sometimes, maybe ig, [THIS LINE IS OVERUSED, IDIA SWEARS], we should let them go if we love them. And all that stuff. And we should be happy and move on," Idia tucked a loose strand of Silver's hair behind his ear. "-cause thats what they would want too." Idia managed a small smile, which hopefully wasn't his usual SSS tier creepy one. 

"Mm." Silver's grip on him slightly tightened, but never too much. Silver had enormous strength, but he always treated Idia gently, so as to never hurt him or overwhelm him with too much physical touch. Which added to Idia's long list of reasons about why he loved Silver. Idia wiped a stray tear from the corner of Silver's eye, his beautiful eyes that captivated Idia whenever he looked into them. Idia leant in bravely and kissed the corner of his boyfriend's eye, something which made Silver's eyes widen and a slight blush spread across his face as a grateful smile tugged the corners of his lips upwards. 

"Thank you, Idia." he murmured as he embraced Idia again, tears now at bay. Idia gently rubbed his back in silence. "I love you." Silver whispered, at which the tips of Idia's hair turned a shy pink. 

"I love you too." Idia felt his face heat up as he wrapped his arms around Silver, who had started to fall asleep in his arms. 

"Hold on, I'll get an umbrella or smths- I've got something else to bring too." Idia grinned. A warm drink would cheer Silver up. They'd gaze at the wintry sky together. It'd def cheer Silver up. Silver nodded slightly, then tugged Idia down by the sleeve wordlessly. The taller male glanced at him curiously, but not for long. Idia's eyes widened as Silver's cold, sweet lips fell on his in a gentle kiss, a quick one, but one that lingered on his lips long after it faded. 

"I'll wait for you. At the-" he paused for a second to keep his tears from spilling out again. "-farewell party." 

"Yeah." Idia smiled. Not exactly what he'd planned, but well, maybe the party would cheer Silver up. He didn't wanna go, but for today, he was willing to throw himself into any kind of  impossible event or tedious grind irl- he just wanted to be there for Silver.

Little did he know that they wouldn't meet for that promise.

I was the anon asking about chap 6!! Omg I loved reading ur response so much. I feel the same about pretty much everything you said, especially your thoughts on Ortho, on how he had much more love for idia than originally programmed. So now taking the opportunity to ask about ur thoughts on the pomefiore trio!! I love rook and vil's relationship so much too so I can't wait to read what you'll say about it!!!

Thank you for being patient, reading it and even asking about the Pomefiore trio, you made my dreams come true lol So I’ll do my best to convey my main thoughts…

Pomefiore is another group of characters that I didn’t expect to love as much as do now. Boy was I wrong; ch5 ended up being one of my favourites for the topics it handled and the relationships between the characters. We didn’t hate the ending (we’ve heard that people generally don’t like it), in fact, I personally think that if Rook voted for Vil’s team it would’ve been more of a betrayal than what actually ended up happening, but that’s a hot take and a story for another day.

Starting with Epel, I am so proud of this boy lol His relationship with Pomefiore (well, with Vil in particular) started on such a bad note, but he managed to develop such a good connection with them. I love how their conflict in ch5 was handled: it was obvious that both of them were both right and wrong. Yes, Vil was harsh with him and was basically acting like an overly strict step-mother that wants a child to succeed in a way that she envisions; but Epel isn’t really an angel either and he is quite close-minded when it comes to him protecting his fragile feeling of masculinity. And, as weird as it sounds, for a good reason: even though you might roll your eyes when you listen to Epel’s reasoning, his mindset is perfectly understandable when you think about his upbringing and the fact that he constantly had to fight people for underestimating and misjudging him because of how he looks. Isn’t it ironic that Vil is dealing with the exact same problem, but in a different way? Anyhow- I really love how twst handled this conflict and that Epel ended up becoming more comfortable in his own skin without fully copying Vil, so to speak, and that he ended up having a lot of respect for Vil. To the point that he chased Rook when he ran away alone to save him lol

In general, we don’t really like the “awww they’re family” or “he is their son” jokes as they tend to become tiresome really quickly, but with these three I just couldn’t stop joking about it for the entirety of ch6, I don’t know what is this magic lol But the way Rook and Epel just couldn’t sit without helping Vil, the way Rook and Vil were celebrating Epel discovering his unique magic (while giving him advice and supporting him and teaching him about how not to overdo it and stuff), the way Epel was so eager to learn how the heck Rook and Vil met god it was agonizingly long wait before we finally heard their story fully.

… And what a story that was sigh I love them so much. It was very nice.

I think it showcases what they love the most about each other, because this is exactly what made them drawn towards each other in the first place: Rook is brutally honest, but also surprisingly insightful, so his remarks are actually quite useful and constructive; Vil is a perfectionist who is always open to listening to other and paying attention to what’s being said in order to better himself and his craft. And, what the most important thing is in my opinion, they share this burning passion towards theatre, acting and art in general. And this is, like, Vil’s entire life, so of course someone like Rook would be quite special. I am very biased, because this does hit close to home, but still I feel like Rook and Vil found themselves a perfect partner in that regard.

I love all the other aspects of their story too: the fact that they did just sit and talk way past their curfew and during cold winter days to the point that they got ill… If you enjoy a conversation so much you completely ignore the fact that your ass is freezing, this is serious lol

The fact that Rook decided that pursuing the concept of beauty and seeing Vil every day is more important to him than hanging out with beast boys is up there too. There is too much stuff to list everything, I had a minor crisis every time they dropped a new piece of information, which is why it took me two days to watch this part. This is a little bit embarrassing to admit lol

(I also want to mention that I really appreciate Vil clowning Rook every single time he had to speak as him while telling their story, this was hilarious)

Oh and of course we can joke around for ages about my man Rook running away from his responsibilities because bringing skincare to his queen is more important, but the fact that he just couldn’t sit still and do nothing is amazing and even inspiring to a certain ai-robot boy who feels like he also wants to save his loved ones, you know what I mean, you’ve read my post from yesterday lol

And Vil… I love Vil so much it’s pathetic at this point, I love how at the very beginning of ch6 he took full responsibility for what happened in ch5; out of every character that has overblotted so far his reaction to it is the most mature, and the way he handled all the ch6 is also quite mature. I love his kind-of-antagonism/kind-of-not towards Idia: he was his counterpart for the entire book and even though he never agreed with his and Ortho’s plans, he kind of very quickly understood where they were coming from. It’s like he’s been empathetic towards them this entire time, ever since he saw Ortho being super happy after he got compared to Idia.

Pomefiore, and especially Rook and Vil together, are kind of unhinged and surprisingly wise at the same time. Like… they are wholesome but not in a way that would become boring: their craziness and love towards what they do helps to balance things out for us.

Sander Sides x Twisted Wonderland anyone?

I've recently picked up my hyperfixation on Sander Sides, and as the genius I am I thought of making a crossover between one of my favorite games and Sander Sides!

Virgil

Starting off strong with my personal favorite. So let's start off with saying he and Logan kinda grew up together because I love platonic Analogical, they're from the Shaftlands! As for the school, he attended NRC till his 3rd year! But after a HUGE fight with Janus (his second closest friend) he decided to change school and attend Noble Bell College. His previous dorm in NRC was Ignihyde, he was pretty much only friends with Ortho and saw Idia like twice in 2 years. (They met each other one night when they had both went out to get energy drinks from the vending machine, and the second time was because of Ortho dragging Idia with him to give a special gift to Virgil.)

Janus

Our favorite snake boy, Janus. He grew up in Briar Valley, being a snake fae. Half of his face is covered in scales and has heterocromia, his left eye is light brown while his right one is bright yellow and snake like. He attendes NRC and is a 3rd year from Octavinelle. (He might have beef with Azul) He's not the absolute worst but he's not a saint either, tho if you ask Virgil he won't agree with me. He's pretty influential and has many 'acquaintances' in all the dorms so he's always up everybody's business. (Azul is impressed)

Remus

The og rat king! Twin brother and son of the famous Royal family from a kingdom not too far from Sage's Island. Childhood friend of Patton and younger twin of Roman, he's a menace. He's the second born which means he won't become king, but he hardly cares about royalty, he instead prefers to focus on "more important" matters like how to annoy his dorm leader. Who is Leona btw, yes Remus is in Savanaclaw, he's not a hybrid or anything of the sort but he sure is fast and athletic and he's surprisingly on par with some of the other members who *are* hybrids. (Leona was almost impressed) He's pretty well known for his constant pranks on other students and weird behavior other than the fact that he's a prince. His and Roman relationship isn't the best but not Leona and Falena level- fortunately.

Remy

Also well known as Azul's main source of income with how much money he spends on coffee at Mostro Lounge everyday. (Azul just gave him a card so he could always go to them instead of going to other cafes) He's well-known in NRC for the sole reason of him dating a RSA student, aka their sworn enemy. Also because of his powerful magic but they shouldn't be surprised as he is from Diasomnia dorm. He's a pretty chill guy and was friends with Virgil before he moved, now they hardly see/talk to each other. He's an older brother figure to a lot of people but he's hardly seen around anymore since he's a 4th year and he's working on his off campus education.

Might make a part 2 with the light sides!

vance: before he overblotted, he used to see trey as his big brother figure! but now that he knows that trey lied to him about that competition so that "vance won't be sad".. yeah, their relationship is much worse now.

merrill: well, iris IS his cousin, so of course he would see her as his sibling! though he hates to admit that he's younger than her. he doesn't want to be a cute little brother, that's vance's job!

allen: to be honest, he actually kinda sees lumi as his older sister. she is so smart and reliable after all!

roland: all gardening club members feel like siblings to him!

both jays: they kinda see each other as twin brothers!

austin: i'm not sure he has one? well, he does have actual blood-related siblings, so it's fine djdjsksls.

minnie: ramshackle students kinda feel like siblings to her! seth is her funny older brother, eureka and taruchi are her adorable sisters and she will do anything to protect them and real!jay is her brother that she has to force to go outside. he's idia to her ortho basically also i think she'd see blanca as her big sister 🥺

hayden: he definitely sees riley as his little brother and he's VERY protective, though he doesn't show it. also hayden always wanted to have a little brother because he's tired of being the youngest and riley is perfect for that.

riley: and he sees hayden as his big brother! he trusts him and he doesn't think hayden is a bad person and even after hayden's overblot, he still wants to help him and make others realize that hayden is better than they think.

angel: hmm, nope, they don't have one! maybe it's hayden? though if they saw him as a sibling, he would be like a little brother to them even though he's older.

bunny: .. can they call angel their annoying little sibling? she knows they're the same age, but.. it does feel like angel is much younger than her.

seth: ALL FRESHMEN ARE HIS YOUNGER SIBLINGS. HE LOVES THEM SO MUCH HE'S ADOPTING ALL OF THEM.

One moment he was minding his own business in the corner of a room or something

and the next he's screaming a flailing his arm around trying to get this weird small creature you off

obviously it didn't work

you have a bite force stronger than a crocodiles from all your experience

I hc that when you are all grown up and big, you start doing that death roll thing crocs do. its very effective. if you don't know what I'm talking about look it up, its really cool.

He eventually gave up and now just had you hanging off of him for most of the day

then he realized that you had been asleep for like 99% of the time you were on his arm.

he was really warm and you got comfy so took a lil nap.

Ortho had to help him detach you.

After that he avoided you as much as he possibly could

he thought he was the one person you hated enough to bite for a long while

until one day when you came into a housewarden meeting and started biting Crowley

which he, Crowley, didn't stop at all and even extended his arm for you then picked you up in his arms all while you were gnawing on his forearm.

he felt a little better after that.

Overall, he doesn't hate you but doesn't exactly enjoy your presence. he's on team f them kids except his lil bro and you are no exception.

Azul

He heard of your little habit long before he met you

you had instantly caught the tweels interest

especially Floyds

and they both immediately told Azul about you.

And as with most others, he didn't know your exact reasoning for all the biting

so he made sure to keep his distance from you until he did

but as situations like these usually play out, that plan quickly failed.

As he was making his way back to his dorm from a boardgame club meeting, he heard some commotion coming from the courtyard

he was expecting a fight or something like that

not the Floyd laughing his ass off as Riddle was simultaneously trying to pry your teeth off Jade's leg and scolding you

Trey was trying his best to help Riddle but also trying not to laugh.

So he,

being the capitalist he is,

decided it would be best to offer his help to the redhead

to which Riddle declined.

Little did he know is that he already did help a bit,

as you had now let go of Jade and was staring up at Azul

giving him the mandatory vibe check.

You were going to give him a pass but then you noticed the annoyed look Riddle had towards the 3rd man that smelt like fish

then your child mind jumped to a few conclusions

"annoyed look -> upset -> mad -> hate. gasp! so mama Riddle hates this fish smelling man! he must be a bad man if mama hates him... i know what must be done..."

cue Azul screaming at the top of his lungs, Riddle yelling at you to let go, and Trey, Floyd, and Jade absolutely shitting themselves laughing.

TWST Pokemon AU Part 6: Ignihyde

Sorry for the long wait guys. My keyboard was acting weird and I almost had to get a new one and school has just started for me.

Quick note, since I’ve started school and I also have a part time job, I’m going to be far busier than normal. If you’ve sent me a request I will get to it eventually, however this series is my top priority (after school and work) and I will be finishing it before I work on my requests.

Idia and Ortho:

“E-Eh! F-For me?!”

“You’re just like me!”

Idia hadn’t yet met you when you ran into his room with Ortho by your side, both of you hauling a large metal ball.

Idia had just been in his room (as usual), playing video games. Then, one minute he was playing an RPG, the next he looking up and found someone who was neither his brother nor a member of his dorm in his room.

The scream he let out was loud and shrill. It took several minutes for Ortho to calm him down.

After Idia was calm, Ortho explained the situation. 

“Nii-chan, (Y/n) needs you to help fix their pokemon!”

“E-Eh?”

You rolled over the metal ball that you and Ortho brought it and stopped it in front of him.

“This is my Pokémon, Magearna.” You explained. “It’s an artificial Pokémon that was man-made, which is why I need your help.”

You explained that Magearna arrived with you from your world, however it stopped working when you both arrived, having gone into ‘shut-down mode’ as you liked to call it.

You tried everything to activate Magearna, but nothing worked until Ortho came over to Ramshackle.

You had decided to leave Magearna in the common room of your dorm because it’d be easier to keep an eye on it that way. It wasn’t exactly hidden, which let Ortho easily come across it.

Being part machine, Ortho was fascinated by the Pokémon, especially when you told him the story of how it was created for a princess in an old kingdom by a scientist who was skilled in technology.

The story and scientist reminded Ortho of his brother and told you that Idia may be able to revive Magearna. 

Which brought us to here and now. 

It didn’t take a lot to convince Idia to help, it was just time consuming to calm him down and get comfortable around you.

Magearna had to stay in Idia’s room, so you visited often to check on it and talk with Idia. 

Idia was genuinely interested in Magearna’s history and became flattered when you told him that Ortho thought of him when you told him about the scientist who created Magearna.

You also told Idia about Magearna’s soul-heart, saying how that was Magearna’s main power source and what made Magearna ‘Magearna.’

After that he took a closer look at Magearna’s soul-heart, always careful not to damage it, but through enough to study it.

This was what kept Magearna alive? It reminded him of Ortho’s-

Soon, Idia got an idea.

You visited Ignihyde the next day, looking forward to spending time with the Shroud boys, but was pleasantly surprised to find an open-eyed Magearna standing in the middle of Idia’s room.

“Magearna!” You exclaimed. Once it saw you, Megearna let out various beeps before hugging you around the waist.

Once it backed up, you could see that where it’s soul-heart sat was a small blue flame, similar to Ortho’s.

You turned to Idia with a smile, who was bashfully looked away, while Ortho beamed at you.

Magearna let out more beeps and boops, gaining you attention as it looked at the boys before tilting its head in confusion.

“Magearna, this is Idia and Ortho Shroud. They helped fix you.” You introduced.

Magearna turned to the boys and let out more boops before bowing.

“You’re welcome, Magearna!” Ortho exclaimed brightly.

“You can understand it?”

“Yeah! It’s speaking in a form of Morse-code.”

Idia still kept his distance, blushing when you looked over at him with a grateful smile. 

“Thank you for reviving Magearna, Idia.”

“W-what is this? A dating sim?” Idia muttered to himself, hiding his face from you.

Magearna walked up to him, quickly gaining his attention.

The metal Pokémon tilted its head before reaching its arm out towards him.

Idia watched in confusion before gasping when a bouquet of flowers popped out of the end of its’ arm like a magician’s wand.

“Huh?! I didn’t program it to do that!”

You giggled before explaining.

“That’s something Magearna’s always been able to do. It usually does it to show its appreciation.”

Idia’s hair became a violent red along with his face.

After that, Magearna spent a lot of time either at Rameshackle or  Ignihyde with the boys. 

Magearna and Ortho bonded very quickly, the young robot boy being the only one who could actually understand what Magearna was saying. 

Magearna also starting looking over Idia, making sure that the boy was properly taken care of. It was a bit of an adjustment at first, but Idia soon appreciated the TLC.

You still stopped by fairly often, especially after Iida asked for your help in creating his own artificial Pokémon for Ortho after seeing how well he got along with Magearna.

Watching Ortho and Idia interact with your Pokémon made your heart swell. Looks like Magearna will be taking care of two princes from now on.

An alchemical genius, no wonder Divus favors you over everyone else. An amiable and patient, a kind soul in place. But you spend your time in recluse areas, sometimes having a slight distaste with talking with your peers because of the trouble needed to maintain the social relationship. You love drawing a lot, observing the things around you with curious eyes. Secretive about your past, you love working on many experiments, but know how to take a break. A bit of an oddball I must say.

You're also somehow very good with children, apparently.

TWST The patient and experimental alchemist, s/o (Albedo)

Trey Clover

Well, you certainly are quite weird. You usually exclude yourself from places with many people, even if you had met the Adeuce combo first, he doesn't see you around them so often even though the three of you claim you're best friends.

Trey sees you have a thing for alchemy, you love asking Crewel questions, albeit at appropriate timings, and Crewel keeps praising you for making a successful alchemy performance. It's not to become a teacher's pet, but rather because you were genuinely curious and love alchemy in general.

Trey is very appreciative of your calm, patient and kind nature. Heartslabyul is just filled with non stop drama, in fact, all of NRC is. Being with you, makes him feel more relaxed as you both remain quiet, enjoying the peaceful silence, occasional sounds from your pencil when you sketch and small conversations between you two.

He's also appreciating the fact you're wise enough to know how to take a break, so he wouldn't get worried you worry for him tho-.

You and Trey experiment on things related to alchemy science, your way of putting words together while making a hypothesis or conclusion and reason is somehow alluring to him.

Sometimes he sees you drawing in your sketchbook, while peering over it to look at him, eyes back to what you were drawing.

Upon finishing, you show him, and only him, that you drew things like the flowers, plants and trees, but most importantly, a beautiful sketch of him. You look a little shy when you showed him.

He chuckles.

You certainly are a unique one, aren't you?

Jade Leech

How interesting. A quiet little fish sketching away in their sketchbook, looking naive. How cute~ That was Jade's first thought.

He soon realized that you have always been watching him from the start, curious about his anatomy upon hearing he was a mer eel. A sneaky one he is, he peeps into your sketchbook when you aren't looking, discovering how you think his eel form looks like, finely sketched.

Perhaps he might show you? You're so curious as ever. You excel in alchemy, and you hold a passion for it dear, quite adorable may he add. You love experimenting on potions, chemicals, elements and much more, something Jade finds quite amusing, watching you as you stir a concoction in your cauldron.

You're patience and kindness is something he appreciated. Being the vice dorm leader of Octavinelle, isn't very easy. Jade's been running errand after errand non stop, everyone asking for his help with little patience sure gets him to burn out easily. Lucky for him, he gets to relax in the comfortable silence place between you two, occasional conversations brought up is something he thinks about a lot.

He's very keen on unravelling your past; you seem to keep it from everyone. He's not trying to be nosy, but he's just as curious of you as you are with him.

It's only fair he also gets his trade of the deal when he shows you his true form, hmm?~

Rook Hunt

Oh my! What an interesting and refreshing person you are! You have a keen eye for detail, don't you? Observing your surroundings, curious of the world around you, like himself!

Your sense of experimenting is something he admires, and he's more than glad to help you in doing so! He doesn't have to worry about you getting tired so frequently, you know when's the right time to take a break!

Rook is very moved by how patient and kind you can be, especially with him. His poor little soul can't handle the cruel weight of the school!~ You told him to please stop being dramatic- he "wasn't"- Geez-

It's funny how someone who likes talking, well, sort of, is friends with someone as quiet as you. Quite the dynamic you two make. He notices you seclude your self in places where there's zero to none people around, so... he'd be the one person who's always with you.

You're usually patient, so long as he doesn't disturb you too much, and Rook respects you want some quiet peace. And in all honesty, he loves the peaceful tranquility brought about.

He doesn't mind such <3

Ortho Shroud (Platonic)

Ortho finds you very cool!

He thinks you're love for alchemy and experimenting is something his brother would totally love! On the topic of his brother, you do remind him a lot about him. You two like to be alone but for different reasons.

Idia is more afraid of social interaction and awkwardness, but you on the other hand, you just prefer the peace and quiet, and maybe also you don't know how to handle social relationships too well.

That's okay! Ortho loves seeing you draw. Sometimes, he show your drawings to his brother and tells him what's it's all about. Your art is so detailed, fine and beautiful, he's never really seen such artistic talent in real life other than you!

You like showing him what you do, and show him cool things while you perform alchemy like creating an illusion of bright blue butterflies come to life from mixing potions.

It's super cool! And really beautiful! You can even create art it alchemy, so interesting!

I'm sure big brother would love how kind and patient you are! He admires that, and he feels big brother needs someone like you to help him!

He likes seeing you apart of his family, even though it just consists of him and Idia.

You're his other, cool role model, that's for sure! <3

Idia Shroud

Idia is super thankful that you're very patient with him, and that you're relatively quiet. He hates social interaction, the pressure's just too much, and he doesn't know how to keep a conversation going.

So you're quiet nature and being patient when he tries to think of a way to reply or talk to you is very appreciated. He usually just scrolls through his phone, hearing your pencil in contact with the pages of your sketchbook, drawing away. He wasn't going to lie, he think's you're really cute when you're focus on drawing.

Every time you're experimenting with your ace subject, alchemy, he usually helps you, albeit if you wanted him to usually because you just see him there just staring at your cauldron and sometimes you very tempting to want to join you- and he feels a little scared he might mess up.

You reassure him that it's okay to fail an experiment, and thus they are experiments, that they aren't made to be perfect the first time round. By this point, he thinks you're a saint, you're so kind and patient and like- he's just- there

Honey, you are the PERFECT GAMER BOY WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT-

Idia sees you one day sketching a lot, while you look at him intently sometimes. Was pretty nervous about what you were doing, but ultimately melt when you show him you were sketching him.

He's so flustered, embarrassed and happy at the same time because he didn't expect you to draw him, and he wonders why you wanted to draw him, but he's really happy you wanted to.

It makes him feel special <3

"Dear friend," Riddle thought that it was the most appropriate way to address you—or at least, that's what his brain is trying to make him think. Ever since overblotting and you helping him snap out of his frenzy, he had difficulty in labeling what exactly you were to him.

Before everything, you were supposed to be just a mere acquaintance to him and yet here you were sending him gifts out of the blue. The general "rule" towards receiving gifts was to give the giver your thanks. Albeit the better option was to thank you personally, he thought that maybe a letter would be better so that he can sort out his thoughts.

Friend. He nodded, proceeding to write down the rest of his message until he realized that this was an opportunity to invite you to tea with him under the pretense of paying you back for the gift. He furrowed his eyebrows slightly as he continued writing.

Surely, you would accept his invitation, right?

Trey Clover

"Hey you," was that too casual? Too rude sounding? Trey shook his head as he stared at the two words. He hadn't been expecting a gift from you and frankly, he was more than a bit surprised. Though perhaps he hadn't read the "gift" part when he suddenly started writing down questions about what you liked.

He immediately started thinking of how he should pay you back—gifts? He doesn't know your taste that well. Favours? Hmm, he's not too sure about that one. That's why he decided to ask, if there was something you wanted—he'll do his best to find it for you. A tempting offer, right?

It seems like you have to tell him that this wasn't a trade.

Cater Diamond

"Helloooooo," he started off. The extra amount of Os he used was proof that he's trying to take this occurrence casually. Though in the inside he was absolutely beaming. Gifts never fail to put a smile on his face, especially if it came from someone you didn't expect to give you a gift or someone special to him.

In this case, it was probably the latter. He took a small break as he stared at your gift, wondering what he should write. A small smile took over his face as he picked up his phone and snapped a few selfies of him with your gift with a caption before hitting the post button.

"Received a gift from a dear friend, isn't it amazing? ♪"

Deuce Spade

"Friend," Deuce rarely got to experience receiving gifts from friends to one another judging how his past years were spent as a delinquent. To say that he was happy to receive one from you was an understatement, he was over the moon.

He felt the need to mention it to you with a huge grin on his face. He thought of various ways to give you something back as he let out a small hum, he felt like he was having a field day. He signed the message and told himself that today was going to be a great day.

Ace Trappola

"Hey you," Ace was terribly suspicious of the fact that you sent him a gift out of the blue. Were you trying to buy him silence over something you did? Were you trying to convince him to do your homework for you? A lot of questions springed up inside his mind but not once did he think that it was just a genuine, sweet gift with no ulterior motives hidden beneath.

He knew that you would get mad at him if he continued to suspect you so he said that he was kidding in all caps with three dots after that—which didn't help his situation at all.

He felt awkward trying to convey his feelings like this and he ruffled his own hair as he told you that he just needed to tell you something later, when you're face-to-face. That would make it easier for him to speak.

Leona Kingscholar

"Good day," Leona uncharacteristically typed. He felt like he was being held at gunpoint by his past etiquette teachers as he tried to think of an appropriate response. If it were up to him, he would've just slapped a "thank you" on a piece of paper and asked Ruggie to give it to you.

Though he thought that perhaps it was better for him to actually put in effort for once. Even if it seemed like his so called effort seemed like something he just stole from the internet—that was more than enough, right? He'll just put his signature at the bottom and ask Ruggie to give it to you.

Ruggie Bucchi

"Hey you," a big grin took over his face as he wrote down his first few words. He wasn't as experienced as other people when it came to writing down messages of gratitude, he once tried consulting Leona about it—asking how to make it sound decent only to be met with an answer that went like: "Just put whatever."

And that's what he did! Truly, he's thankful for receiving a gift. For a split second, he wondered if he should share it with the people back in his homeland. Though he pushed that thought to the back of his head as he signed the bottom of the paper with his signature. He'll figure that out once he gives the letter to you.

Jack Howl

"Friend," he doesn't know what to say it's embarassing. Even in letters, he still manages to retain that straightforward yet somewhat roundabout personality of his. A tinge of embarrassment seeping through the letter.

He wished he could've just talked to you in person instead but alas, he was stuck here trying to rack his brain for words. In the end, he felt like it was best to keep it simple—the slightly demanding tone at the end was the result of him getting flustered at the thought that it's possible that it could be a date between the two of you.

Azul Ashengrotto

"My dear friend," Azul couldn't count the number of times he had crumpled a piece of paper and threw it into the trashcan only to get a new one—rinse and repeat. Jade and Floyd had to stifle their laughter when they saw how distressed he was over a single message. Though, perhaps that was the fruit of his unconventional feelings towards the giver.

He didn't want to sound too stiff and professional to the point that he sounded like a robot but also, he didn't want to sound too casual to the point that you might find it weird. He had to let out a small sigh as he ruffled his hair, another piece of paper thrown into the trash can before deciding that he should just play it safe and give you a free drink.

Jade Leech

"To my dearest," oh no. His hand slipped and accidentally made his greeting more intimate than it should be, he could go back and change it but—fufu, where's the fun in all of that? His lips tugged up into a smirk as he continued writing, knowing full well that what he was implying would evoke an interesting reaction out of you. But, if that wasn't enough to stir you up a bit then why not put a little more something? He was a prick this way.

He spotted an empty space on one of his shelves in the corner of his eye, glancing at it for a few seconds before an idea popped into his head. A smile that barely showed off his sharp canines, hidden beneath his gloved hand.

"Truly. Would I lie to you?"

Floyd Leech

"Little shrimpy," he grinned. Floyd was in an especially good mood today after receiving such a thoughtful gift from you. He played with his pen in hand, spinning it around as a distant look took over his face when he tried thinking about the reason why you gave him a gift out of nowhere.

Knowing that Floyd pays a little more attention to you than others, he was bound to be curious and he was more than eager to find out—there's always a reason behind someone's actions, after all. He tried expressing his intent to get the answer out of you which came out a little threatening but if you saw the look on his face there's no mistaking that it was an even bigger threat than you initially thought.

Kalim Al-Asim

"Hey love," Kalim was as straightforward as ever. Not a single filter as he wrote down his raw feelings. There was no reason for him to hesitate especially now that he was practically about to shake from pure joy—he was incredibly close to signing the letter and hopping into his magic carpet to give it to you personally but Jamil was there beside him to stop him if he ever does that.

Though that didn't mean that it was gonna stop him from wanting to ask you out on a magic carpet date with him, he'll just have to explain to Jamil when you accept his invitation. That is assuming you'll accept, right?

Jamil Viper

"Dear friend," Kalim practically forced him to write a letter back to you. Jamil wasn't an ingrate, he knew when to show gratitude when it was appropriate but he preferred thanking you in person. He had to settle for this in the meantime, he thought that maybe he'll just invite you to Scarabia to talk about what he could give in return.

He hadn't really expected a gift from you, especially with all the trouble he might've caused you due to his overblot. Though he didn't think it was all that bad. In fact, he felt a little relieved that you didn't hold any grudge against him.

Vil Schoenheit

"My dear," Vil had an unmistakable smirk placed upon his lips. The choice of words he wrote managed to give out a slightly smug vibe as he stared at your gift on his desk. Impressed by your ability for finding him a suitable gift, he decided to give you a little bit in return.

His smirk slowly turned into a gentle smile as he imagined your face probably tearing up at the thought of him giving you a signed card, he couldn't help but put an offhanded comment near the end. But it was quickly followed up with a single bit of rare praise from him.

Rook Hunt

"Hey love," Rook was always one to act dramatically whenever he had the chance and even in letters, he managed to sound dramatic. As soon as he realized that you had sent him a gift he started gushing about how wonderful it was and how inspiration was raining down on him like tiny droplets.

What's a better way to let his raw emotions out than poetry? That's right, this man wrote you a poem expressing how he feels because of your gift. He almost forgot to say his gratitude because he got carried away but thankfully, Epel pointed it out to him before he could give it to you.

Epel Felmier

"Dear friend," he rarely got any gifts from anyone outside his relatives so when he saw you give him a gift, he was excited to say the least. There's always a certain joy you can evoke in a person when you give them a gift it was almost euphoric for some. He thought that it was sweet of you to give him a gift and decided to give one back with a small message.

Friend. For some reason, it felt a bit off addressing you as that but he quickly shook his head and shot down that thought. As for his gift, he prepared a little something he made himself. Hehe, he's quite proud of it too!

Idia Shroud

"@YOU" it was interesting how Idia didn't bother changing to formal speech when he decided to give you a thank you message for your gift. He's typing the same way he would to his friend, namely "Crimson Muscle", but perhaps that was because he didn't know of any other way to talk to you without sounding unnatural or weird.

People would normally not even think about giving him something and yet you gave him one. He couldn't help but smile a bit when he said how you were a bit of an oddball—he came up with various nicknames for you inside his head. Most of them being different words for the term "weirdo". Yet they always had a hint of affection whenever he would think of it.

Malleus Draconia

"Dearest," Malleus started off. It was rare that he received gifts from people outside his family or nobles back in the Valley since a lot of people found him intimidating—terrifying for some, even. He was glad that you felt comfortable enough around him to show simple gestures such as these. Upon receiving your gift, Lilia noticed how it came from you and urged Malleus to write his thank you message differently from how he usually writes it.

Did you perhaps know of the legends surrounding the Thorn Witch...? If so, then maybe he could sneak in a little joke. The gift of beauty and the gift of song—ah, nevermind. He pursed his lips slightly, he'll just handpick a gift for you himself. A small gargoyle statue, maybe. Or he could ask the other members of Diasomnia to help him.

Lilia Vanrouge

"My dear," his lips formed a small smirk. Lilia appreciated all surprises, big or small. Though, in particular, something about your surprise gift made him more excited about it than usual. Was that just his old age getting to him or was it something else? He couldn't be bothered to think about it that much.

As a form of gratitude, he weighed his options. It was either giving you a gift back or letting you ask a favour of him. He thought the latter would be more acceptable until an idea popped into his head as his eyes sparkled with a hint of mischief. He knew you didn't know what it exactly meant but he gave you his signature nonetheless—he'll leave you to figure out.

Silver

"Hey you," Lilia taught Silver that it was common courtesy to show gratitude when someone gives him a gift. He tried thinking of countless ways to say thank you with his old man bugging him to ask you out on a date instead in the background. In the end, he paid Lilia no attention and instead went with the standard short message and giving a gift back.

He urged himself not to fall asleep as he typed out his message even though he already let out a yawn without him noticing. He glanced at the screen blankly, wondering if he forgot to add anything until he slowly felt himself snoozing off. Head resting on the keyboard and typing out whatnot. When Lilia arrived at the scene, he didn't bother waking him up and just sent the message as it is.

Silver was so embarassed the next day and refused to talk to Lilia temporarily.

Sebek Zigvolt

"Human," he didn't even try addressing you as anything else other than that even in letters. When he found a gift lying by his room, he was a tad suspicious but loosened up when he read the tag attached to it. As stated, it came from you and the gift was meant for Malleus—wait, what. Sebek scrunched up his face as his eyes scanned the words printed on it.

"To Sebek Zigvolt" This was a mistake, right? Sebek was a bit flushed but quickly shook it off by saying how it was probably a subterfuge or whatever that was. There was no way it was for actually for him, right? Surely, you must've sent this in hopes of hearing more about the great Malleus Draconia. Right?

"Dear underling," it was cute how he made an effort to write you a letter despite being in the same dorm wherein he could just talk to you directly. But perhaps he was so touched to the extent that he wanted to do this—did you give him tuna? He struggled thanking you properly and ended up boasting about how he was going to be the greatest sorcerer.

Even though he called you underling at first, he couldn't help but soften up a bit. That didn't sit right with him somehow, he didn't know why. He let out a groan as he racked his head for a more appropriate word until-!

Ignihyde x gn reader who's a famous singer

My boy accidentally stumbled on your fan page and mildly panicked

He texts you while in said panic for clarification that it was indeed you and no one was using your image as a catfish or anything- Is very awkward about the ordeal

I feel like he’d be very reclusive about everything

Very begrudgingly attends your concerts, but makes sure that he's not seen. He only goes to them if they're important milestones for you, though; most of the time he streams it with Ortho

Only goes to the studio if there's something really important happening and you need him, otherwise he'll send his tablet. If you try to lure him out by asking for something, it won't work- he just asks Ortho to bring it to you instead

Any advertising you need, he would hack into billboards to do. He definitely can help with that If you're ever in a pickle, the only hold up would be him trying to find the best way to pitch what's in the ad; you'll have to help him out with that

He isn't the greatest at helping with writing, since he knows that millions of people are going to hear and judge it. He just kinda crashes under the pressure, but he wants to help! So..he'll go to his fail safe of making a program that can help..hopefully-

He might invite you over to have a game night before your concerts or performances. He just wants you to relax, telling you that you worked too hard to let yourself stress out

If he sees you cracking under stress any other time, he'll go to your dorm with Ortho and a few games he took from his club so the three of you can have a sleepover

He's uncomfortable with meet-ups since he's concerned someone might hurt you, and he's uncomfortable going to meet-ups since there's so many people; but he usually ends up with you just in case anything happens. Don't expect him to interact much with anyone, though- he just wants to watch from the sidelines

For the most part, your audience doesn't think too much of him- he's just the weird guy that always sits with you to them. Learning he was your boyfriend made them more observant, and from then on they started thinking he was adorable because he was so shy

He's really embarrassed when he hears the song or album you make for him, but he'll jokingly say it'll be your new most played because it was so well done

He shrinks into his hoodie when he hears you dedicate a performance to him. He's so flattered and embarrassed that he has to leave for a bit before he accidentally changes the room's temperature too much

He'll hear you sing in places around the dorms, and it kind of encourages him to leave his dorm more; he just wants to catch those moments

He is incredibly uncomfortable with taking pictures if your fans ask him to; you might need to help him speak up about it because he accidentally gets roped into it when he gets spoken over

Ortho was sure when he met you that he heard your voice somewhere, so he used his scanning software to figure out why

He was supportive off the bat and wasn't afraid to let you know how amazing he and his brother thought you were

He doesn’t necessarily show it off that he knows you, but he'll listen to your music a lot and, when inquired, say "that's big sibling (Y/N)"

He makes sure to go to your concerts, which can be a hassle for Idia- usually he goes into the auditorium while Idia goes backstage

When Idia doesn't need him, he'll be glued to you. So he goes to your recording sessions all the time (your team finds him adorable, so they don’t mind)

If he hears you mention you need help with advertising, he's running scans and diagnostics to see which advertising methods are the most useful and will let you know

He's not the best partner when he helps you with writing- he usually reads through your work or hears what you have so far and tells you it's amazing no matter what

When you need extra support, he'll use his programming to find kind comments your fans have made and will portray them to you

He begs Idia to go over to your dorm for a sleepover when you're stressed, even though Idia was already planning to

He can be very sweet at meetups, but if anything goes wrong you might have to make sure he doesn’t blow anything up

Your audience absolutely adores him from the start, he's so sweet to all of them

He's so happy when you write him a song or album, listens to it on repeat everyday

When he hears that you're dedicating a performance to him, he records it and watches it from time to time because it always makes him happy

Ortho gets excited when he hears you sing around the dorms. Sometimes, he plays the instrumental of the song you're singing so you have a karaoke moment

He loves to take pictures with you and your fans, but feels like he shouldn't since he's not the celebrity
