look okay okay. obviously matt is a hugely talented dm. but airing divergence immediately after campaign three is really putting into stark relief things it sorely needed. these characters all have clear reasons to be engaging with the world; they have motivations that keep them moving forward to solid goals; they've obviously been well-informed beforehand about the state of the world they're living in and feel like a part of it; they've been given reasons to all work together and cooperate and be involved; they have a defined context they all built their characters around that they fit cleanly in.

i respect matt's desire to let his players explore the world he built and be generous with their freedoms, and brennan knows he's working within much tighter constraints. but this is really laying some of campaign three's issues bare.

⋆ RP PET PEEVES?: i have a few but I also don't want to air them because I don't want people to think that I'm being mean bc I was Assigned Baby At Birth. probably my biggest one is not respecting the lore/detail of someone else's character? like I was saying to someone the other day like with flynn, where I make reference to it being night & him being able to see and then in the next reply the partner is like "the mid afternoon sun blazes down" and i'm just like smh. if that sort of thing happens consistently that tells me you're not actually reading my replies or caring about my character, you're just waiting for your turn (obvs one off mistakes are different but yk)

⋆ EXPERIENCE / HOW MANY YEARS?: i've been here since 2009 in the rpc but longer just on tumbles in general (and I legitimately only learned what softblocking was yesterday rip)

⋆ FLUFF, ANGST, OR SMUT?: of those three fluff then angst (but no too much bc I might cry) then smut (but only reading it not writing it bc I'm shy)

⋆ PLOTS OR MEMES?: it is no surprise to anyone that follows me that I am a ho for the memes. i love winging stuff and seeing what the characters do with it

⋆ LONG OR SHORT REPLIES?: my sweet spot for my own writing is around that 2 paragraph mark but any reply is a good reply u know?

⋆ TIME TO WRITE?: so because I WFH i am online and writing literally all day but I would say my prime hours are first thing in the morning. in the summer thats about 4am-lunch but atm were closer to 6/7am. i usually tap out when I clock off at 4 - but also this works bc it aligns me better with when people in other time zones are on

⋆ ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S)?: there are parts of me in every muse I write. idk how to write without leaving aspects of myself behind you know? Funnier still, there are aspects of my husband in my male muses especially (bc how could I not model them off the best man that I know?)

A scent you love:

Lemon tea! There was a candle that I adored when I was younger from Bath and Body Works that I'm fairly certain was discontinued, but it had a delicate lemon tea smell that just brings so much comfort to me.

What’s a book you’re currently reading?

Tian Guan Xi Fu/Heaven Official's Blessing! We love some pretty boys in fantasy Ancient China and lots and lots of trauma. I don't know whether I want to laugh or cry

South Park: Fractured But Whole

Listen, I just enjoy getting to play a genderqueer child who beats the shit outta some conservative shit heads.

What’s the most recent movie you watched?

The Barbie Movie. It was a really fun time! I went in with no real expectations and thoroughly enjoyed myself. It reminded me that I almost exclusively had "weird barbie"s when I was little.

Are you watching anything on TV or listening to any shows?

The audio drama for Mo Dao Zu Shi. I'm really trapped in the danmei brainrot atm.

Favorite season?

Autumn. It's got rain. It's got fog. It's got long muddy walks. It doesn't really have thunderstorms cause it's not hot enough. Fun leaf colors that crunch. No allergies like in Spring and Summer. A really nice breeze. I get to wear a hoodie as much as I like. Plus there's Halloween. Nothing but wins for Autumn, honestly.

What’s something you’ve learned recently?

I got really really into reading about tectonic plate shift and the formation for land masses via plate shift and volcanic activity, and the large amounts of land that were once above water only a (relatively) short time ago in our history. Also, marine archeology is a growing science and I cannot wait to see where it goes from here considering how much early human history is currently under the waves!
