i think a lot about how calm ren seems on the surface and not only how quickly, but how DRAMATICALLY that can change in an instant.
#πππ : π΅π©π¦πΊ π΄π’πΊ πΊπ°πΆ πΆπ΄π¦π₯ π΅π° π£π¦ π΄π° π¬πͺπ―π₯. β hc .β#( semi-inspired by the thread w/ saint's cyno & also a fanart i am currently rolling around in my brain like a marble )#( because if you don't know who he IS ren's vibes are very?? subdued )#( he's very blunt about what he thinks ofc ofc but otherwise he's fairly quiet and keeps to himself. he's existentially burnt out. )#( and he is definitely calm to a certain degree but not nearly as much as he appears. )#( he's very VERY emotional but he's good at bottling it up indefinitely until something comes along that pulls out the metaphorical cork )#( so it leads to those moments when he DOES snap to feel /particularly/ sudden and violent and very unsettling. )#( he goes from 0 to 100 )#( if you already have context it's one thing but i just think a lot about ren from the pov of anyone only seeing what he shows outwardly --#and how nightmarish it is for this reclusive guy to suddenly display the ability to break bones with his bare hands & other atrocities )
