Dreadnaught Love
My Hero Academia
Pairing: AFAB Reader x Bakugou Katsuki
Story idea: Reader daughter of Re-Destro is flung into Bakugou during the Hero Provisional Exams, and the Reader's decision to pass off a 'Victim' to him causes them both points.
Idea:
You crossed your arms as you made your way into the Hero Provisional Exams. The examination area filled quickly. Different schools entering in. you were dressed in your Hero Uniform that you designed and your friends mother put together.
You educated yourself, homeschooled as you will. You didn’t want your parents knowing you wanted to be a Hero. They thought you were training to better yourself, and for your father and grandfather. For the Meta Liberation Front.
Luckily enough you had your grandfathers quirk. Pyrotechnics. You could generate and launch different types of bombs and manipulate them to your hearts content. You just had to eat a lot of calories to make up for the generation.
Perfect for a Villain.
But you didn’t want to be a villain. You didn’t want to be a vigilante. You just wanted to be a Hero. Break away from your family…business…
The Initial Phase you made it through easily. Luckily with no balls hitting your targets. Making it within the Final hundred students and the Help Us Company.
Seeing everyone splitting up into groups, you ran out to the outer edges. Granted less of a chance to find injured people, however still could happen. There was plenty of people in the epicenter of the damage.
There were a few people you saved that could walk, and you directed them to the main area where survivors would be going. One person you went to carry, however that was when Gang Orca showed up with his sidekicks.  One aimed at you, blowing both you and a ‘Victim’ away. The person you were carrying let out a scream as you moved to cradle them into taking most of the impact.
“BAKUGOU LOOK OUT!” You heard someone call out.
“THE HELL…OOF~”
You felt an arm circle your waist and an explosion sounding, you were afraid you accidentally dropped a grenade.  But behind you?
“Hah?!” Both you and the blond looked at eachother in confusion.
“She’s kinda cute!~”
You and the Bakugou in questioned both blushed. And you quickly pulled away, “Thanks for the catch, here take them to safety, I need to kick that guy’s balls in! Sorry if I dropped a Grenade!” You took off again from the same direction you came from. “I’ll keep them from getting to you guys!”
“HAH?!” Bakugou gripped hold of the person and jumped to the side looking for a bomb.
Kirishima watched as an explosion happened in a distance.  “Ah, she has a quirk similar to yours Bakubro. Must have thought she dropped a grenade when you let loose a blast to soften the blow of catching them.”
Bakugou had a glint in his eyes after that, he tossed Kirishima the person who yelped, “Take the extra to safety I’m gonna go kill them!”
“POINTS TAKEN FROM YOTSUBASHI AND BAKUGOU!”
“COME ON! WHAT FOR?” Bakugou exclaimed loudly in frustration, he wanted to join in on the action of the incoming ‘enemies’.
“Yotsubashi hands me off to Bakugou who is reckless, throwing a victim to another person with talks of killing people! Points taken from both!”
In the end, you had to take remedial courses. Which you weren’t excited for period.
However, you did draw attention to yourself due to the fact that you were homeschooled. UA managed to reach you first. What seemed to be a couple of teachers and the Principal.
Aizawa, All Might, and Principal Nezu. The three of them wanted to discuss moving you to UA, when the head of the Hero Public Safety Commission stopped them before they could speak. “Yotsubashi (Name)? Daughter of Rikiya?” you froze at that, and Aizawa’s eyes narrowed in interest.  “We would like to have a talk with you…”
“Now…Hold on, we were wanting to talk to Miss Yotsubashi ourselves…” Principal Nezu announced with a smile. “We would like to invite you to UA.”
“She can’t because she’ll be with Us the HPSC.” The woman said sternly.
All Might stepped forward, “Now wait a second, shouldn’t this be up to the student and their parents!” Not noticing how you stiffened up even more.
The womans eyes narrowed. “Don’t worry I know her parents, it’s what is in her best interest.”
Aizawa placed his hand on your shoulder “What does she want?”
UA students started to run up to their teachers. You gulped, “Whatever…that doesn’t let my parents know… I’m here…” All might and Aizawa looked at you flabbergasted.
“HEY! ITS THE CUTIE!”
“Yeah! Yotsubashi right?! Your quirk is like-”
“GAH YOU IDIOT YOU CAUSED ME TO LOSE POINTS!” Bakugou growled out and grabbed the front of your uniform and pulling your face to his before the both of you blushed hard.
“PFT IF YOU JUST TOOK HIM TO SAFETY WE WOULD HAVE BOTH GOTTEN POINTS WHO IS THE IDIOT?!”  You quipped back, looking anywhere but his eyes. Your eyes widened as you saw sparks ignite from his hands, and you formed a Grenade in your hand by instinct.
“ENOUGH!” Aizawa exclaimed activating his quirk and his capture cloth caught the both of you.
“If you want less attention, you’ll be smart to join the HPSC. UA won’t keep you from the Public view. Hawks will be keeping her under his wing.”
Finally released. You turned to bow slightly to the two heroes and Principal Nezu. “Thank you very much for your kind offer, but I’m afraid I’ll have to go with the HPSC.” You responded, then turning to Bakugou, “I’m sorry you have to take remedial classes because of me and my decision. Good luck next time.” you grabbed his hand swiftly and shook it, causing him to look at you dumbly before turned to walk away.
Bakugou blinked, “The hell just happened?!”

MerMay with Yuu
So, Yuu in this is AFAB (although there will be talk of being able to change genitals at will/hermaphrodites) with long hair (this is because I really like the look of long hair floating in water, don’t judge me, okay?) First are some Gen/ set up, then pairing Yuu with the Dorm Heads (with the exception of Jamil and Kalim being a two-for-one).
Gen
Yuu comes from a world where mers are a bit different from those in Twisted Wonderland.
Closer to traditional sirens of lore versus the modern mer based off the Little Mermaid, Yuu is, frankly, a little terrifying.
Lean and muscular, Yuu is a Deep Water mer, diving easily into the dark depths of the sea, down near the sea vents. Sharp nails, sharp teeth, and the strength to rip an Orca in half with little to no effort.
They keep their hair long so they can braid things into it. Shells, scales, sea flowers, bones, sunken treasure, if it looks pretty to them, they braid it into their hair to travel with them.
They haven’t had their first mating season yet, but they’re alright with being a “late bloomer” as they don’t know if they want to be the carrier or the provider (vag vs peen). They do know that none of their peers interest them.
They don’t speak common. Oh, they can sing it, but it’s meerly mimicry of actual speech/song. They have a beautiful voice, don’t misunderstand, but their singing is actually just nonsense, if you can hear past the hypnotic pull of it.
When they first arrive at NRC, they can’t walk, they can’t speak common, and all they do is hiss and snap at anyone who comes near them and their new legs.
Riddle
Upon first meeting Yuu, Riddle wasn’t too sure what to make of them. After all, while they were breaking rules, it’s also obvious that they were scared and had no idea what was going on.
During Chapter 1, he initially decides that they were just a massive trouble maker, only for them to like him enough to help stop his Overblot.
Afterward, Riddle won’t admit it, but he’s smitten with them, often inviting them to tea and carefully teaching them more common.
When he finally finds out that they are a mer, he briefly shies away from them (thanks Floyd), before they basically drag him back into their group of friends.
Riddle finds them beautiful, in a way that all the other mers at the school aren’t to him (Trey would eventually take him to the side and explain whats going on when Riddle ends up gushing about Yuu), flushing brightly when Yuu looks up and beams at him, their scales turning into a bright, vibrant red, matching his hair.
When they smile with their sharp teeth, Riddle finds his stomach swooping with affection instead of horror like it would when seeing another mer do such a thing (*cough* Floyd *unconvincing cough*)
Leona
Realizing that the “non-magical human” is actually a mer that could take on the entirety of Savanaclaw and win? Leona is hard almost immediately, and he’s upset about it.
Pre-Chapter 2, he didn’t care either way about Yuu, thinking them to be a weak herbivore like all the other humans, weaker than that due to their “lack of magic”
Then Yuu faces down his Overblot, ignores the dangerous dehydration his Unique Magic caused them, and fucking suplexed Leona into the fucking field (there is now a hole on the pitch that Ruggie calls the Leona hole. Leona can’t say shit because Ruggie only refers to this hole when he’s starting to show signs of what caused his Overblot)
Afterward, Leona was intuned to Yuu more than he wants to admit. They start getting thirsty, he appears with an extra water that someone got for him. They get sleepy, he pulls them to the botanical garden to nap with him. They struggle with common, he teases them before helping them speak.
Yuu may have sung a lullaby from their world to him during Chapter 3, and he may have had the best sleep of his fucking life, holy shit he’s ready to do shit for once, what the fuck?
When he finally sees Yuu in their mer form, he’s surprised at how much he thinks it fits them. While he’s a little worried about being able to see their ribs (he also worries about Ruggie, but it’s more due to needing Ruggie to get healthier to be a good servant, don’t think it means anything else dammit), he also realizes that they are more powerful than he could imagine.
They have absolutely dragged Leona underwater to kiss him, sharing some of their breath with him and allowing him to breath underwater with them.
Azul
When Floyd and Jade returned from preventing Yuu and their friends from getting the picture all scratched up, Azul immediately wanted to know what happened. Only to stare in horror as Floyd and Jade described Yuu’s mer form, which matches a dogfish shark, but at a larger scale.
During Azul’s Overblot, Yuu actually grabs some of his tendrils and rips them apart with their bare hands, snarling at Azul the whole time (Leona, Ruggie, and Jade may now have erections while Floyd was laughing in shock for once). Overblot Azul freaks out a little bit, just a little (okay, that’s a damn lie, he loses his goddamn mind and screams at them to stay away)
Afterward, Azul hesitantly offers the Octavinelle pool in the lounge for them to swim in, only to jump in surprise as they sprint right to the pool and dive in, leaving their uniform behind without a moments hesitation.
When Yuu swims over, they look gorgeous to Azul. Bright eyes, a pleased smile, and a soft humming vibrating through the water, past the glass, and into the lounge. He never understood the human fascination with his people until he watches Yuu swim freely through the pool.
Floyd, of all people, finds out about Yuu’s habit of braiding things into their hair, and Azul immediately starts finding things that they may like. He may fall a bit in love when they take a bone from one of the fish that Azul had to catch and kill himself, and carefully braid it in.
Occasionally, he allows himself to join them in the pool, only to feel like the carrier with how they box him into a corner before curling around him as best they can for underwater cuddles (Floyd loudly complains about wanting to cuddle with Yuu while Jade finds the whole thing amusing).
Kalim & Jamil
Kalim is utterly fascinated with Yuu’s mer form while Jamil is, reluctantly curious as well. While they didn’t have a huge confrontation with Yuu’s more siren nature with Jamil’s Overblot, they still vaguely recognized it as Yuu dehydrated faster than the other students.
Even with the troubles that Yuu still has with common, Kalim happily chatters at them and braids their hair with any hair piece that seems to catch their eye.
Jamil has found another bug killer, but he’s a little reluctant to call them, because they straight up ate the bug that freaked him out. He doesn’t want the image of a bug leg twitching from Yuu’s mouth whenever he looks at them, thank you very much
Upon Yuu singing for them, Kalim immediately begs for Yuu to join the light music club, while Jamil asks them to sing again while pulling out his phone. Jamil would later use their song for a dance routine.
When they finally join Yuu in the water, Yuu practically drowns them in their excitement, before sharing air with them to allow the pair to breath underwater. There, Yuu shows off all the pretty and “pretty” things they have found so far, including a human skull that belongs to one of the school’s ghosts. Both boys are intrigued for different reasons, but still adore Yuu.
Vil
Danger is beauty, and Vil finds Yuu to be the most beautiful, dangerous being in the school.
Even before his overblot, Vil was trying to figure out how to get the Ramshackle Perfect to visit Pomfiore to dress them up.
Afterward, he is planning a proposal, how to help Yuu adjust in Twisted Wonderland, planning out their house and wedding (mentally, of course). He may have changed it slightly when Yuu picked up Rook and carried the hunter back to their dorm to take care of him.
Vil braids jewels and beautiful items into Yuu’s hair, making elaborate styles that Yuu wouldn’t be able to do on their own.
When Yuu finally gets into the water, Vil is fascinated by the jewel tones that make up their tail scales. He designs outfits around their colors and form, trying to figure out how to make an outfit to show off their mer form without needing water.
He absolutely takes the time to teach them how to walk in heels, although he also has stepped back and laughed when Yuu would fall flat on their face while wearing stilettos for the first time.
Idia
Haha, fire nerd goes brrr for terrifying, eldritch mer.
Every time Yuu does something even mildly terrifying, Idia is scared and horny. He just, constantly, lives in a state of horrified arousal.
Although, seeing Yuu coddle Ortho makes Idia soft as hell, to the point that he actually managed to get distracted from a game upon seeing the pair cuddle.
Idia doesn’t know or understand why Yuu introduces him as their carrier, at least until Azul pulls him to the side during a board game club meeting and explains. In explicit detail. This may have awakened Idia to h-games with futas and gay guys, but he will never tell.
Yuu has no idea what Idia is doing when he hacks, but they love to watch him in his element. In return, Idia is fascinated when Yuu enters the water and changes into their mer form.
They have matching grins, their teeth sharp and smiles mean.
Malleus
While a little surprised that his companion is not a child of Man, he is intrigued by the differences between Yuu and the Mermen of Twisted Wonderland.
Got a little flustered when Yuu picked him up in a princess carry during one of their late night talks. He thinks about that alot.
Yuu is legitimately interested in the gargoyles, to Malleus’ delight. At one point, Yuu even corrects someone about a difference between a gargoyle and a facade. Malleus was very proud.
If Malleus ends up helping Yuu with their common, they end up with a very formal speech pattern, while still being a gremlin child.
Yuu revealed their mer form to Malleus, and he revealed his dragon form in return. They end up exchanging scales, which seems to fluster Yuu, to Malleus’s confusion. Eventually, they reveal that exchanging scales is practically a permanent mating proposal, the mer equivalent of a closed marriage. Malleus is very pleased with this, as they are his treasure to keep.

Stuck In An Elavator With You
Shy!Hawks x Reader
Hi, so this story is about a headcanon I have about Hawks secretly being shy around his crush!
I don’t usually make x readers were the reader has a backstory/background, but I liked this backstory for the reader so I hope you enjoy!!
. . .
Keigo tapped his foot anxiously on the ground, heart thumping and practically racing.
He had a good reason to be this riled up, he really did.
For whatever reason, Keigo Takami, also known as Pro Hero Hawks, had a particular repetition of being a flirtatious man, always seeking a new companion. He, nor his agency, knew where these rumors came from, but his press advisors told him that; “People will eat this up!” “This’ll be good for business!” And although he did nothing to refute those claims, they weren’t exactly true.
The truth was, his love life was practically nonexistent, he hadn’t really dated anyone before (not seriously anyway), so when he began to develop feelings for a certain someone, he was surprised, to say the least.
But, he didn’t get flustered around just anyone, he was a hero, a spy, he knew how to keep a clear head. The only person he would ever get flustered around was you.
You would think that pro hero Hawks would have some natural charm to him, but no, he becomes a mess around you. He felt pathetic if he was being honest.
You worked at the HPSC, which were his bosses, the people who helped to train him to be their personal hero, so of course, he got well acquitted with you. Whenever he entered the building he would usually be greeted by you, smiling at him, making conversation of any kind.
He liked how easy he found talking to you, he loved it really, the way you didn’t mind his bluntness, the way you would laugh at his crummy jokes, it made his day easier, it made going into the HPSC building feel more bearable.
He had known you for about a year, talking to you when you came to drop off documents, when he came in you always made sure to greet him with his favorite canned coffee in hand.
He didn’t remember when he got like this when he started to get flustered by you all the time, when he talked his words would come out all jumbled up when he talked to you, his face becoming red whenever you so much as touched his elbow. But, he still loved seeing each time he had to come in, it practically made his week each time.
Of course, luckily, he always had an excuse in hand. That he had stuttered out of exhaustion, that he blushed when you taped his shoulder because that’s where a villain had hit him.
Yet today, he didn’t see you. And he had been prepared too, washing down his nerves and trying to make himself the calm, confident, pro hero people loved, he knew he could swoon you if he acted as the charismatic hero he was. But you weren’t there, and he didn’t like it.
So, he patiently waited for the elevator to bring him up to the higher-ups, looking around the building's main corridor, expecting you to turn the corner any moment, and to smile at him, making his wings sputter and his mind race.
He bounced his leg up and down, seemingly unable to stand still at all when he felt a small tap on his arm.
He was prepared to turn around to offer an autograph, but the words stuck to his throat.
Oh.
Whatever nerves he had thought he had taken care of re-surfaced, making his mind bubble and his tongue feel numb in his throat.
You were right there, only a few inches from him, smiling, your presence alone throwing him off guard.
“Jeez, you really can’t sit still can you,” you said in a teasing tone. “I suppose I should expect that from the man that always moves fast, huh.”
Keigo didn’t know if he would call you a friend, although he did have feelings for you, he knew they were most likely one-sided. So, he just called a work friend (although he desperately wished you two were more).
Of course, that's when his mouth decided not to work, “O-oh, hi there Y/N, you look- how are- did you,” he mentally cursed himself, wanting desperately to have a disappearing quirk right about now.
But luckily, before you could even say anything, the elevator dinged loudly, the people on board quickly got off, seemingly in a rush to get out.
He made his way in, letting you go first like a gentleman, yet, he managed to trip when he entered, looking like a fool.
Yet, to his surprise, you just giggled, “I suppose even top-ranked heroes lose their balance.”
Keigo nodded, looking anywhere but you in order to get his red face under control.
“I’m guessing you're on your way to the top? To the higher-ups?”
This time, he had collected himself enough to look at you and smile, “Yup, that's the one.”
He gave himself a little pat on the back for not screwing that up.
You pushed the button to the top floor, giving him a small smile in return.
The elevator was extremely pristine, the carpeting was soft, the walls of the elevator were lined with some sort of expensive metal. Paintings hug down, making the elevator have that rich sort of feel.
He anxiously looked around, desperately trying to find the courage to speak, but none came to him.
Luckily though, you spoke first, “I saw you on TV the other day, beating up that nomu must have been tough. You gotta work with Endeavor though! And I know he’s your favorite.”
His ears turned pink, did you really remember that from that throwaway conversation you two had about heroes?
It had been about a few weeks ago, maybe three he really couldn’t remember, but he did know he still got extremely flustered around you at that time.
He was waiting in the lobby that most had to sit in to meet with the higher-ups, he had gotten a coffee, waiting patiently when you sat down next to him.
You made a bit of small talk, him listening closely, chiming in so you wouldn’t lose interest in him, yet not being able to find his voice all that well.
It had started when you commented on Gang Orca coming in for a visit, you told him how cool you thought he was, with his different kind of hero aesthetic, saying how, “You don’t really see a lot of scary-looking good guys, but I met him, he’s actually pretty polite.”
He knew it was stupid, but he couldn’t help but get jealous. He wished you would say how cool his quirk was, or how you thought he was ‘pretty polite,’ he just wished he could have the guts to say something, anything flirtatious to you to show you how interested he was in you.
It bugged him, who many heroes you probably knew. He wasn’t a special case, he knew that.
You weren’t at all in the high up of the HPSC, you barely knew anything about what was going on in the commission. You were just someone who ran the errands of the HPSC, giving paperwork to heroes and police, it was probably a very taxing job.
But Keigo liked to believe you two had a special bond, maybe....maybe you even felt the same way he felt about you.
“How about you, Bird Boy? Got a favorite hero,” you asked, a lightly teasing tone in your voice.
He wanted to refute you, saying something quippy like he normally would. But the way your eyes shone with genuine curiosity, the way your face was limited by the light of the lobby you both waited in. Even if you were just in your normal, everyday state, you still made him flush with nothing but a glance.
He managed to sputter out, “Endeavor, I’ve liked him since I was a kid.”
You grimace, “I don’t like him all that much, he's very rude and mean when he comes in or I drop something off for him. He's not like you, you're nice and easy to talk to, he always seems to have a problem with anyone he sees as unworthy.”
You rolled your eyes at the memory of the flame hero, but you didn’t notice how his hands had griped around his coffee can.
You thought he was nice and easy to talk to. He wanted to echo the sentiment, he wanted to say that he loved talking to you and maybe, if he had the strength, segway into asking you out for coffee at a real cafe.
Of course, that's when he was called into his meeting.
He smiled fondly at the memory, and how it was so cute of you to remember.
“Yeah, I can't believe you remembered,” not being able to keep the light edgy of nervousness out of his voice.
You nodded, “Well yeah,” you leaned carefully against the railing of the elevator, picking at your nails, “I like talking to you, Hawks, you're a good guy. You come in and actually treat me like a decent person, you wouldn’t believe how many heroes get such big heads, thinking that the person dropping off their paperwork is, well I don’t really know how to describe it really,” you paused for a moment, “they think that I’m not worth their time I guess, it's kinda gross if I’m being honest.”
Hawks frowned, “That's not fair, I’m sorry. That's really rude of them, they should treat you better than that.”
You looked up at him, and his breath caught in his throat, “See? You’re so nice to me, even if you don’t have to, I enjoy talking to you Hawks, thank you.”
You neared him, his body stiffened as you did so, “I was actually wondering if you would maybe wanna grab something to-”
A loud thud and an ear-piercing scratch cut you off, the elevator floor jiggled and slowed, the fast pace stopping and becoming slower and slower.
But the elevator gave a strong jolt, and before Hawks could even think, his hero instincts kicked in.
He grabbed you, pulling you against him, his wings (or what was left of them) wrapped protectively around you and him.
He pulled you down to the floor with him, wings blocking out the lights flickering above you two, his body taught and waiting.
After the elevator had come to a complete stop, his brain had caught up to the realization of the piston he was in.
He quickly leaped away from you, moving off the floor.
“I-I’m so sorry! It-it’s just, the elevator made my hero instinct act up! A-are you ok,” he reached a hand out to you, watching you breathlessly panting.
“Y-yeah I’m ok. What happened? A villain attack,” before he could answer, he heard the intercom speak before he could.
The robotic voice spoke, “Please stay calm, we are experiencing technical difficulties, please stay inside the elevator as we are sending help. Thank you for your patients.”
His body stiffened. Trapped, in an elevator, with you. He didn’t know if this was his worst nightmare or a dream come true.
You sighed, “Damn, seriously? Stuck in an elevator was not how I wanted my day to go.”
He gave a nod, trying desperately to calm his nerves.
He could do this, he had the chance to flirt and ask you out, this was a blessing in disguise, he knew it. All he had to do was get his act together, calm himself and make a few flirtatious remarks, and not get flustered.
But he couldn’t, his heart was beating out of his chest. He wondered for a brief moment if you could hear it in the silence of the elevator, the music had stopped, casting a silence around the small space.
“So, I guess we’re gonna be here for a while,” you shivered, “why is it so cold in here?”
It was as if his body thought before his mind did. He shed his jacket, walking it over to you, placing it on your shoulders lightly, “U-uh, h-here, don’t wanna catch a cold.”
You looked at him, eyes wide, “Oh, I can’t take this, what about you? Aren't you cold? I can’t let you give this to me.”
He held out his hands, shaking his head, “No, just take it, I insist, really.”
You hesitated for a moment before nodding, looking around you said, “I guess we better get comfortable.”
You slid down the wall of the elevator, sitting against the wall as you lay your legs on the red carpeting of the elevator.
He mimicked your actions, flowing you down on the opposite wall.
His nerves picked up again, suddenly at a loss for words. He had had plenty of conversations with you, yes, but his feelings for you had gotten worse and worse over the months. At this point, he became tongue-tied just by looking at you, worrying he would say the wrong thing and making you hate him.
Luckily, you broke the silence, “I wonder why this happened, maybe a mantis issue? Hang on, maybe my phone works,” you reached for your pocket, pulling it out and giving it a few clicks as your brow furrowed and you sighed.
“I just got a text from my boss, he said help is on their way. He says he doesn't know how long we’ll be here, could be 10 minutes for could be a few hours.”
He hoped you thought the gulp that he had done was out of anxiety of getting stuck, but in reality, it was one of worry about you being in an elevator with him.
He didn’t say anything, nerves pulsing through him. Although he desperately tried to come up with something to say, something that would make you blush instead of him, nothing came to mind.
He mentally cursed himself. This was the perfect opportunity to be the dashing hero that everyone adored, to show you that he could protect you and calm your nerves. He desperately tried to think of anything to say, but his mind was muddled with the thought of sounding ridiculous.
What if he sputtered over his words? What if he said something to make you uncomfortable? What if you hated him?
Those thoughts caused him to tense up, the air feeling heavy around him.
“You know,” his head snapped up, looking back at you, “I think there wouldn’t be a better person to be stuck in an elevator in!”
He gulped, his nerves shot firing, his throat constricted to where he couldn’t even say anything in response.
“Oh, I almost forgot,” you said, flashing him a light smile, “I wanted to thank you, that nomu attack almost hit this place, I’m sure if you weren’t there, we would all be in big trouble. But what can I expect from the number 2 hero.”
Keigo continued to look down at the floor, refusing to open his mouth as he was sure he would say something to ruin this moment.
You just kept complimenting him and he really didn’t know what to say back, or if he could say anything at all.
He could feel his face heating up every second, his hands becoming more and more clammy against his pant leg.
He didn’t know if he wanted you to stop or continue.
You soon noticed the silence, confused and worried etched onto your features.
Slowly, you made your way over to him.
“Hawks,” you said lightly, “are you feeling ok? Your face is really red.”
You reached out, almost stroking his cheek, and before he could even think, he snatched your hand away.
“I’m fine!”
You backed up, feeling pain shoot through your heart.
He cursed himself. Why would he do that! He was an idiot, he was just so worried you would see him flustered and well…
The air around you two became thick with tension.
Keigo felt as if it was difficult getting air into his lungs, he felt like he could barely move.
Slowly, he could feel the air around you two become more and more uncomfortable, and all Keigo wanted to do was roll in on himself.
Of course, you felt it too.
You knew something was off about him, he had been acting strangely around you the last few months.
When you had first met Hawks, his charismatic and charming nature made you gush over him immediately. The confidence that oozed from him was so compelling, you were mesmerized by him.
But know? With the way, he had been acting recently? You worried if he was mad, or maybe even hateful towards you. You had grown anxious of that very thought, wondering if you had said or did something that he disliked.
When you two first met, he had easy, flowing conversations with you. But now, he was like a sputtering child. Shy and quiet, slinking away from you, even scared of you it seemed.
You sighed, feeling even colder although Hawks had given you his jacket.
Finally, as if your heart and body couldn’t take it anymore, you spoke, breaking the suffocating silence, “Is something wrong? You keep acting so weird around me.”
His head shot up, looking you over, his mouth sputtering words that didn’t fit together. His cheeks were flushed, his eyes had grown wide, his hands frantically moved, but you cut off his actions.
“We used to have such nice and casual conversations. But lately, it's as if you hate them as if you don’t wanna talk to me. Did I do something wrong? If I did, can you tell me? I promise I’ll stop doing whatever it is!”
This time, he was surprised to find his words coming easily to him, “No! You didn’t do anything at all, I promise! I love talking to you, I love walking into the building and seeing your face, watching you talk is....mesmerizing,” you watched him with wide eyes, and a part of him wished he could stop talking then and there.
But he continued.
“A-and you're so cute with the way your eyes sparkle in the sunlight, and you always make my week whenever you come in, I always make sure to be in the office when you're around because I know you’ll come and talk to me. I love seeing your smile when you see me, the way your face brightens up. I don’t hate you, I…”
The words stuck to his throat, but he was unable to get them out.
Your face was twisted into one of shock, still staring at him you said, “You really think all that stuff about me? You really get excited when I come into your office?”
He nodded, looking anywhere but your eyes scared he would confess more to you if he did.
You neared him, hesitant at first, scared he would lash out at you again. Nevertheless, you persisted.
“Hawks,” he could feel your warm breath near him, making him tense, “do you...do you like me?”
It was an embarrassingly childlike thing to say, almost as if you were to children admitting crushes to each other.
Yet, you couldn’t find the best way to fraze it.
With the way Hawks’ body froze over, the redness of his face spreading to every part of his ears and down his neck, you were fairly sure you were correct.
Yet, you waited for a moment for him to confirm or deny.
“Y-yeah, I’m s-sorry.”
You couldn’t help but laugh, which made Hawks lookup with fearful eyes.
“Oh! I wish you would have told me sooner! Hawks,” you looked back to him, “I like you too stupid!”
If you thought his face couldn’t become redder, you were sorely mistaken. His whole body stiffened, eyes widening, he gaped at you.
“R-r-really?”
“Yes,” you giggled, “for the longest time, too. I believe I’ve liked you since the first time we’ve met. I kept wanting to ask you out, but I guess I was just worried about how you would react, but this whole time you’ve liked me too. I guess we both suck at the romance thing huh.”
He nodded, unsure what else to do.
“And now here we are, admitting our feelings in an elevator, geez, this is beyond cheesy.”
A small chuckle escaped him, “Yeah I guess it is huh. All this time I’ve been nervous for nothing.”
You giggled, “Yup, for nothing. You acted like a scared schoolboy afraid of telling his crush his feelings.”
He smiled, “Well that would make sense, I’ve never been in a relationship before.”
You froze, brain stopping as your heart quickened its pace, “What? Never?”
His body went rigid with the realization of what he had admitted, “No. The commission didn’t want me to get distracted I guess. So I never made any effort to find one, so- um,” he looked away, “Yeah…”
You looked up at him in shock, and before you could stop, the words poured out of your mouth, “What? But you’re- you’re Hawks! People would die to go out with you, your young, nice, charming.”
He scoffed, “Come on, do you really think me acting the way I have been has been charming? And I’ve been so busy...my whole life I guess, so having a relationship has never really been in the cards for me I guess.”
You couldn’t help but slump at his words, “So, you still can’t have a relationship?”
He looked up at you, frantically, “No no! Now I can! I was um…” he was at a loss for words, looking down again.
“I was actually wondering…” his words stopped slowly.
“You were wondering if…” you said slowly.
“If maybe...you would...want to…” god he just couldn’t get the words out, “want to...go out with me?”
He held his breath, till he felt your hand run through his hair.
He looked back at you, seeing you smile before saying, “Well, how can I say no to the number two pro hero? And the guy that I’ve had a crush since… forever.”
He felt his heart leap, his nerves settling, his face coming laxer. He felt like pinching himself, thinking there was no way this was right, no way you had actually liked him back, yet here you were, telling him you wanted to go out.
He felt like he could do anything at that moment like nothing was holding him back.
You brought your hands to his cheek, making him come closer to you.
“Hawks, have you ever kissed anyone before?”
He was thrown off by the question, face, yet again, becoming a scarlet red like his feathers.
“I- well...um,” he nervously scrambled for the words that couldn’t be found.
You just smiled reassuringly at him, gently creasing his face, “It’s ok, Hawks, you can breathe now,” you giggled a bit.
He let out a shaky breath he didn’t know he was holding.
Slowly, he leaned forward, looking desperately into your eyes, as you looked desperately back into.
Slowly, your lips met, soft and subtle. Gentle, and light, Keigo thought there was no better sensation. The way your lips shaped around his felt like pure heaven, he chided himself for not kissing you sooner.
You brought a hand up to his hair, running your hands through it, pulling him more into you. And boy, did he want to get closer.
If it was up to Keigo, he would have spent his whole life kissing you, but alas, you pulled away.
“Wow,” he didn’t mean to say it, it just sorts of slipped out.
You chuckled lightly, “Not so bad yourself, huh.”
As you two laughed, you both felt the elevator slowly rise.
“Oh well,” you sighed, “looks like they figured it out.”
“Um so,” Keigo commanded himself to be steady, “I know a pretty good cafe. Would you...want to come, with me, together, as a-” you cut him off.
“It’s a date.”

could you maybe do a part 2 of the depressive episode ask with fatgum, hawks, n gang orca pease?
ofc anon! I think these get progressivley longer also fldsfdsjl idk why that is, sorry!
Taishiro Toyomitsu/Fatgum You were both busy people, Taishiro was even busier than your average pro now that he’d taken on those two students, he didn’t mind the extra work though. Plus he was used to having you around on top of it all. He understood you worked as well, and he’d even tried going there to surprise you since it had been a few days since the pair of you spent any time together which was entirely unlike you only for your coworkers to say that you’d called out a fair bit of time. Maybe you’d headed home, a family birthday or special occasion beaconed you, but whenever you left you always asked him to watch your place, he’d hardly heard from you beyond a text for the past week or so now. So he decided to head over to yours after calling it early one day, he sent Kirishima and Amajiki packing and told them he had a small emergency to deal with, which wasn’t exactly a lie. He was growing a bit concerned for you your lack of communication with him wasn’t just rare it was totally unheard of, normally you were joined to him at the hip, you adored him and you always made sure he heard it all the time. He didn’t want to be overbearing or show up uninvited but he hated the idea of you being sick or worse with no help around, he understood how badly you wanted to be perfect for him, you didn’t want to add to his workload or be a bother at all, he was just trying to figure out the best way to make you see that you could never do any of that to him, and you’re perfect for him however you want to be. He knocks on the door a few times to no avail before electing to use his key, you’d given it to him a while ago but he still knocked most of the time, he didn’t like barging in on you, despite how he loved to have you do it to him, nothing was better than an unannounced surprise visit from you in his eyes.  “Anyone home?” He shuts the door quietly behind him and looks around. The mess says you should be in, that’s for sure. He’s holding a bag of snacks in his hands, plus some medicines and general stuff in case you were sick with a cold or the flu, and he already had his whole chastising speech set up in his head for you.  But he had to find you first. There wouldn’t have been any place for you in the living room, the couch was littered with groceries that had yet to be put away, the coffee table covered in glasses and the kitchen wasn’t much better, it was full of everything and anything but actual food. The door to the laundry room was just barely holding a tidal wave of unfolded clothes back. The bedroom door was slightly ajar.  “Hey, you-”  He nudges the door open with his shoulder, “‘re you decent? Can I open my eyes ‘fore I bump into something-”  “Taishiro?” He hears the rumpling of blankets, and your voice is wet and tired and warbly and even though you didn’t give him the go-ahead he couldn't help but rush over to you at the sound of it. “Hey, what’s the matter? He drops the bag on the bed to your other side and instinctively cups your face in his hands.  “What are you doing here I-”   “I was just in the area and... it’s been a while since I spent any time with you, sorry barge in like this, you didn’t answer the door, I just wanted to check on you..and it seems like it was a good thing I did..” You’re looking up at him like a deer in headlights, it’s only then that he realizes his potential indiscretion. He moves to pull away from you, to wait for a green light to touch you and be close to you, he didn’t want to overwhelm you, or make you feel guilty or anything like that. You can sense that he’s about to pull back, and a few minutes ago all you wanted was to be alone but now that he was here, the last thing you wanted was for him to not be near you. You take a hold of his wrist.  He let out a long, thankful sigh, “alright then, I’ll stay right here.” He sits on the edge of your bed, “I’m glad you’re here.” He nudges your hair back with his other hand, “’re you sick?”  You shake your head in his hands, “No I just-” Your voice waivers, “I feel so terrible-”  “Terrible like how?” He looks guilty of something and it just makes you feel worse, “did something happen? Someone giving you a hard time or-”  “No-” You choke it out tears already slipping down your face, “I just..I’m so exhausted and I feel like everyone hates me or forgot about me and I know somewhere in my head that that’s such a stupid thing to even worry about but I can’t stop worrying and-”  “Hey, it’s alright, it’s alright,” he shushes you, “I see now, I get it now.” He pushes your cheeks up under his palms, “I’m sorry I didn’t notice sooner. I didn’t come sooner-”  “It’s not your job to take care of me-” You warble, “I’m being a stupid baby I-”  “Stop that. Just because something isn’t my job or responsibility doesn’t mean I still won’t wanna do it. You take care of me all the time.” “This isn't the same I-”  “Come on and give me a hug.” He cuts you off before you can get anything else out, “I really need a hug, can you?” He scoops you up, underneath your arms and pulls you forward, he drops back into your mussed up pillows.  “Tighter,” he complains as your arms coil around him weakly, and you laugh through a cascade of tears.  “Feels good to cry huh?” He’s holding the back of your head with more protective instinct than you’ve ever felt from anyone. His other hand pulls the blanket up around you.  “I couldn’t- I’ve been- all week and I just-” You hiccup, “I had to so bad but I couldn’t, and you-” He shushes you again. “Go on ahead, cry as much as you need to. I won’t say it doesn’t break my heart a little to hear it, but I know you’ll feel better after. And don’t go apologizing for this either, sometimes it’s just what you need. Let it all out. I’ll be here if you get sick from it. Afterward, I can help clean up, get you in a nice hot shower, make you something to eat? Sound good?”  “Will you stay all night?” You were pressed into his chest, his tear-stained shirt muffled your voice but he got the idea.  “Honey, I’ll stay as long as you want me.”
Keigo Takami/Hawks The no. 2 hero rarely has much time to kill, that being said Keigo liked to make it a point to see you as often as he could, or at least to text you. But over the past few days, you'd hardly replied at all, and when you did they were just simple one or two-word answers. It worried him, gnawed at him, for a myriad of reasons; were you sick? Were you drowning in work? Had you run into some kind of trouble? Were you injured? Had you gotten tired of waiting up for him? Sick of canceled dates and being woken up by him clambering out of bed early in the morning to answer a call, exhausted by all the would-be intimate moments between the pair of you that were interrupted by his work? All of these possibilities were equal parts nerve-wracking and heartbreaking. If you were sick he wanted you to reach out and ask him for help, there wasn’t anything he couldn’t make time for if you were involved, he’d figure it out, he always did... if you were in some kind of trouble or injured did you not feel like you could ask him to come to watch out for you without being a bother to him? Did he make you feel like a burden? Or worst of all had you just grown tired of him? Him and his baggage and his job? The gnawing in his chest become too hard to ignore. He could pawn this patrol off on someone else, it was a slow enough day anyways, maybe Enji would do it. He snorted at the thought. He’d just fly by your window, see if you were in, what you were up to. Maybe you were just swamped at work, he reminded himself, sure he was busy but that didn't mean you couldn’t be too, and two busy partners can make for sparse communication, there was a fair chance all of this was just you being busy too. He counts the windows and flies up, it wasn’t hard to memorize which one leads to your apartment. When he gets up there the blinds are open, he can see right inside.  You woke up feeling okay today, okay enough that you figured maybe you could tackle this goddamn laundry at least, it was making such a mess in the hall and you thought maybe if you got that sorted out you’d feel a little more useful. But somehow you just ended up sitting on the floor in the hall, back against the wall, laundry basket spilled before you in a bigger mess than when you started. You may be an adult with a job and apartment but you were crying about the mess. You were an adult, you can cry about whatever you want, that’s a perk of being an adult. You sink further into the wall somehow.  His vantage point lets him look clean through the living room into the small hallway where you sat. It’s slightly cracked, just enough that a few feathers can wiggle in and push it open enough that he can slide his fingers underneath. He should head to the ground, walk up the stairs and knock, like a normal person. But he can’t help it, he’s panicked, what the hell happened to you? You were just sitting there, laundry basket spilled, sobbing into your hands? Were you hurt? Did someone break-in? He couldn’t waste time on foot.  “Hey-” He strangles it out as he’s contorting himself to duck into your window, “It’s okay, hey- I’m here, I’m here now, babe what happened?” He’s squeezing into your window, his wings folding and tufting up against the windowpane, “do you need my help? Are you hurt? Is someone here did someone-” He falls inside unceremoniously, a ball of red feathers and sherpa by your house plant.  You’d never been so happy to witness his stupid antics, you’d never met someone so smart yet so dumb. It felt good to see him, you hadn’t realized how much you missed him. “Keigo?” You drop the shirt you were crying into, “n-no, I’m not hurt I just dropped the laundry and..-” Coincidentally it was his shirt.  “Is this because of me?” He notices it fall to the ground, he looks incredibly guilty, “did I do something to upset you? To-” he scrambles up into a sitting position, “make you feel like I don’t care about you?” A feather is already righting the tipped over laundry basket, a few more collecting various tee shirts and socks.  “What?” You wipe your face with your hands as he clambers over to you, you sniffle, “no Keigo you didn’t-” You shake your head as he nudges your legs apart and sits between your bent knees, “I’m sorry I’m the problem it’s me-” You look forward to him and his eyebrows furrow.  “What do you mean? No one’s the problem there isn’t a problem what’s the-” He squeezes your arms, “forget it. Where have you been? I’ve been so worried about you..and now I find you crying on the ground and-”  “I’ve been here.” Your voice cracks, “I haven’t gone out once.” You laugh wetly, “it’s embarrassing. I just...I can’t do it. I feel so useless. I do nothing all day but I’m so tired Keigo..I’m even too tired to sleep..”  The mess that would have taken you days to clean on your own was practically rectified now, and Keigo hadn’t even lifted a finger.  “I’m sorry I worried you.” You wither back into the wall and he shakes his head.  “I don’t want sorry. I get it, I understand now.” He takes your face in his hands, “I’m sorry I didn’t come sooner-”  “Your job’s more important than taking care of me like a child-”  “That’s not a fair comparison. And it’s not true anyway. I know my work is important but that doesn’t mean other things can’t be important too. I want to be here for you. You would if it were me right?”  You nod meekly at that, “thank you for coming I- I don’t even know what happened one minute it was fine and the next I-”  “It doesn’t matter. It happens to the best of us. I just wish you’d called me. Asked for my help I... I was so worried that you were sick or..worse than that.. you were sick of me.” He laughs a little, “how stupid is that right? Like you’d ever get sick of me.”  “Does that feather have my underwear?” You look at it over his shoulder.  “Sorry. I... thought it would be funny.” It falls to the ground, you snort. “You’re right. That is stupid Keigo.” You murmur, “I’d never get sick of you.” “My job’s important, I know it eats up my time, and we don’t get to be together as much as I want to sometimes...”  “I think I should be the one pleading my case right now Keigo.” You laugh a little, “my apartment is disgusting, I’m crying over dropped laundry and you haven't even seen the state of my kitchen yet. I ignored you for days over nothing, I’ve barely showered I probably smell abysmal and-”  “It wasn’t over nothing and you don’t need to plead your case with me because you’re going through a rough patch, I’m the one that’s been too busy to notice you struggling-” He shakes his head, “all because of my work, I can’t... not do it but I want to be with you, I want to be with you all the time, I’m probably so annoying blowing up your phone and climbing in your window whenever I have a few second... I don’t know how you put up with me, I’d get sick of me in a few days.” He reaches out and tugs the bottom hem of your shirt aimlessly, “I don’t know how you do it. I guess all I do know is that I want you to stay near me.”  “Keigo-” You warble and pull him into your chest, “I'm sorry I scared you-”  “Don’t be sorry just...know that I want you to ask me for help...I know it’s easier said than done but..well I just said it. I just wanna be with you, all the time, like 24/7 I don’t even care what we’re doing. I’ll do all your laundry forever if you just stay near me while I do it. It’s not a bother you aren’t burdening me just ask me for help. I don’t want you to feel like this...let’s just..” He turns into the crook of your neck and sighs, “stay like this for a minute. And then I’ll help you clean up around here, that’s what's upsetting you right? The mess? Lucky for you I’ve got plenty of hands...well feathers. And then we’ll see what else we can get done, together okay babe?”  “Yeah.” You press your cheek into his hair, “thank you for understanding.”  Keigo nods, his finger traces the neckline of your shirt and he speaks again, “Please don’t pull away so much, I missed you, you’re the only person around here who has any fun besides Rumi, and whenever we’re together one of us ends up with a broken bone or worse.”  You snort at that, “okay, noted.”  “And I think you smell great by the way.”
Kugo Sakamata/Gang Orca It felt weird to be away from Kugo so much. You just hated the idea of him seeing you like this. You were tired and irritable and in a mess all the time, you hadn’t changed your pants in days and the only meal you’d had over the past 3 days was crackers and bread, maybe toast depending on your mood. Not to mention the laundry situation or the chaotic state of your bathroom. You normally hated mess, and even though you didn’t have the energy to clean it ..it still made you terribly anxious.  You were almost out of crackers, you hated that you lived in the exact area Kugo patroled, it was how you’d met in the first place, and normally it was a delight to run into him on your way home from your own job, even just catching a glimpse of him patroling out your window usually really improved your mood but the thought of running into him now made you sick to your stomach. You couldn’t get the energy up to put something nicer on, but you didn’t even have a morsel of food left, everything you had you’d Mcgyvered into something to eat. If you saw him you’d have to explain where you’d been for the past week, why you’d been basically ignoring him, and even when you did answer him it was just to blow him off or send him to voicemail. You wanted to see him, but you were too afraid at this point, you’d dug yourself into a deep hole, there’s no way he wouldn’t be mad at you. Not that he’d ever gotten mad at you before really. But this time would be different. Or at least you’d convinced yourself of that. Maybe keeping your hood up would stop him from recognizing you.  You made it to the store with no incident, you were feeling pretty hopeful, though equally drained, you barely went up and down 3 isles before deciding you were done after finding the pre-made cold brew you’d been craving. It amounted to about 3 bags total, and the cold brew bottle wasn’t exactly small..well you could always order out.  Worried was a gross understatement, Kugo was sick with it. He wanted to barge in, everytime he offered to go to you you said no, you had a conference call, you were working late, your neighbors were fighting again, so on and so forth. That paired with the one to two-word answers he’d been receiving made his stomach hurt in a way he only experienced when he couldn’t tell the outcome of a big mission. He asked if you were okay practically every day and you always said you were fine. Though when he mentioned it to Hakamada the other hero informed him that ‘I’m fine’ was usually 'code’ for something else. If space was what you wanted then he’d let you have some...that being said when he saw what was certainly your receding figure on the street..wearing shorts in this weather?  “Hey-” His voice makes you jump out of your skin. God the universe seriously hates you this week.  “Kugo-” You don’t wanna turn around.  “What are you wearing? It’s freezing out you should be wearing a coat and pants.” He wraps an arm around you, “you’re shaking. What were you thinking huh?” He reaches out and takes your groceries too, “you better be going home.”  “I am..” You murmured, “I just needed to run out fast, I’m not cold, don’t get distracted from work because of me-”  “I’ll bring you home. It’s fine, don’t worry about that there are plenty of people out today.”  “I-”  “Please let me bring you home.” He huddles you into his side, “I’ve been worried..”  “Have you?”  “Of course I have, you’ve made yourself so scarce recently, and now this?”  “’m sorry..” You hug your chest as you turn the corner to your complex.  “Do you want me to come up with you?” He turns to you. Now you were at a crossroads, you’d seen him, you were seeing him, he was touching you, his side was warm and his arm around you was comforting and the idea of being alone was equally as upsetting as the idea of him seeing the state of your apartment or the state of you close up. “You aren’t even wearing layers.” He scoffs as the neckline of your hoodie dips a bit. “Do you want me, yes or no? Either is okay but you need to get inside before you get sick.”  “I do want you to come with me I just-”  “Well explain upstairs then.” He's ushering you inside the moment you finish. “Did you lose your keys?” He’s still squeezing you into his side when you stop at your front door. “I... don’t want you to see it.”  “See what my love? Your apartment? I think we’re a bit past that.” He presses his nose into your hood which is still covering your head. “It’s a mess- I’m a mess Kugo.”  “I doubt it's that bad. Even if it is I won’t mind, so let’s go in instead of standing out here like two fools.”  “Promise you won’t be mad.” You turn the key and he sighs.  “I promise.” The door creaks open and you aren’t sure if it’s your anxious mind playing tricks on you or if it’s 10x worse than what you remember.  “Oh god-” You warble, “I'm so sorry Kugo this is so embarrassing.” The way your voice breaks makes him jump. “Hey-” He sets your groceries down on the sliver of free counter space he can find, “no tears my love, no tears okay?” He puts his hands on your shoulders, “is this where you’ve been? Why you haven’t been talking to me? You’ve been all shut up in here?” He turns to you and you just want to fold in on yourself and disappear. “I wanted to clean, and I wanted to call you but  I just couldn’t get the energy to and it kept piling up and my bathroom is even worse and I didn’t know what to do and then even when I started to miss you I was too embarrassed at the idea of you seeing me like this because I can’t even comb my hair right now let alone take a shower or even change my clothes and I was afraid you’d be angry with me for letting it get so bad and I-” “Stop.” He pulls you forward and you fall against him wistlessly, “relax, you’ll work yourself up to tears like that.” He cups the back of your head. “I won’t ever be mad you for something like this. Why would you be afraid of that?” He takes your face in his hands, “and why would you be embarrassed of me seeing you when you don’t feel well? I’m here to help you.” He nudges your hood back, “call me sooner next time, please, if not for your sake for mine.” A big hand cups the nape of your neck, “I was worried sick about you dear.”  “I’m sorry-” Your voice cracks, “I’m sorry Kugo I just-”  “I understand. I’m sorry too, I should have checked in sooner, I should have made sure you knew you can trust me with this sort of thing.” “It’s my fault not your’s don’t be sorry Kugo I-” You’re blinking back tears and he sighs. “There’s no sense in going back and fourth about it.” His thumb rubs your temple, “I’m just glad I’m here now. I’m sorry you don’t feel well but seeing you after so long is a relief, I really missed you.”  “I missed you too Kugo-” Your voice cracks and you throw your arms around his neck and shoulders.  “Do you need to cry? Don’t hold back for my sake.” A big hand rubs circles between your shoulder blades egging you on, “if crying will help then cry. I’m right here for you. No more worrying okay my dear?”  “Okay-” You wipe your nose on your sleeve over his shoulder, tears falling freely, “thank you for coming Kugo-” Your feet are hardly on the ground anymore, your face nestled into his shoulder, “I’m sorry for getting tears all over your-”  “What did I say about worrying?” He pulls you back and uses his thumb to clean off one cheek, leaning down and brushing his nose against the other you let out a thankful sigh at the gentle touch.  “I just can’t help it Kugo-” You murmur, voice still wet with tears, “i just love you so much and I don’t-”  “Oh, you’re such a sweet little thing.” He pulls you up a bit by your cheeks, “it just breaks my heart to see you like this. I may never let you out of my sight again.”  “I’m okay with that.” You duck into his neck with a hiccup and he laughs.  “I love you too, why don’t you take a warm shower, I’ll help you however I can, then I think we should call it a night, we can worry about the mess tomorrow.” “You don’t mind?” You squeeze him around his shoulders and he hums.  “I don’t mind at all.” He promises, “I’ll do whatever I can to help you feel better.”

hates/scared of loud noises
How Aizawa, Toshi, Hizashi, and Gang Orca would help their s/o who is scared of and jumps at loud/sudden noises. These are shorter than my usual headcanons. I just wanted to write these because there have been so many thunderstorms lately and five houses around me were using fireworks all damn weekend. It’s exhausting getting startled that badly every thirty minutes.
Tumblr media
Aizawa Shouta
He’s a quiet guy. His footsteps are near silent. He doesn’t make much noise when working and walking around the apartment. And he has a rather flat affect. In battle, he may yell. To get his student’s attention, his voice might raise oh-so-slightly. In disagreements or arguments, his voice firms up and deepens but it very rarely goes beyond that. It’s pretty nice to live with, except when you yelp because someone’s suddenly talking right behind you. He’ll start to make a little more noise so you don’t get scared.
He understands being afraid of yelling and other such noises but he doesn’t really understand the fear of thunder and fireworks. It’s only noise. It can’t hurt you. Nevertheless, he is a good boyfriend who will comfort you through the storms.
He’s actually glad you don’t like fireworks because it gives him another reason to stay home (though he doesn’t like how scared you get). During thunderstorms and firework shows he’ll lay in bed and hold you tight to his chest. Any loud booms that make you tense up, he’ll stroke your back and whisper that it can’t hurt you and you’re safe.
If there’s one person at the end of the hallway who always slams their door and startles you, he’d encourage you to talk to them. He wants you to stand up for yourself and never wants you to sit back and just accept things that make you uncomfortable. It’s completely possible that they would change their behavior or may not even know they’re doing it. If you truly can’t do it for whatever reason, he will. Besides, he would also like people to not constantly slam things. It’s just annoying.
Tumblr media
Yagi Toshinori
He isn’t particularly loud or quiet in the home. After everything he’s gone through, he’s come to be a gentle man and his movements and sounds reflect that. He’ll change simple behaviors to help you. When you’re engrossed in something, he’ll make some noise so you aren’t startled by him. He keeps the TV volume low so no explosions or yelling scares you. If he’s going to drop something heavy, he warns you in advance.
The accommodations are simple but that doesn’t stop feelings of being needy or high-maintenance from rising. You should be able to handle a door closing or a dog barking without your heart skipping. He’ll notice your worry very quickly. Once you talk about it, he’ll assure you everything he does is so easy he barely notices that he does it anymore. He just wants you to feel comfortable.
At the end of an anxiety-ridden day, hearing a cell phone ring can be shocking enough that you cry. He’s immediately beside you, helping you through any grounding or self-soothing techniques. He knows them well since he’s found them useful for his own anxieties.
Toshi enjoys festivals and fireworks. He likes the community, the colors, the food, and the fun. When he learns you don’t like them, he will be disappointed that he can’t experience all of that with you. If you ever want to go and leave before the fireworks start, he’d be grateful. If you don’t, he understands and hides his disappointment so you don’t feel bad. And if you encourage him to go with his friends, he won’t. He wouldn’t be able to enjoy himself, worrying about you being alone and scared. The only way he could go and actually have fun is if you’re with a friend or family member.
Tumblr media
Yamada Hizashi
His shouting and yelling can be intimidating. Sometimes it’s on purpose. Sometimes his voice booms on accident, notably when he’s emotional. But he hates seeing you flinch/recoil so he pays extra attention to his quirk whenever you’re around.
He’d be a little bummed out if you don’t want to go to any concerts or live music because he loves sharing his interests with you. Don’t worry though. He gets it and would never push you. To make up for it, he’ll want to watch recordings of concerts with you. Even if you don’t like the band or music, sitting through the hour long video is the least you could do. He loves it so much and his smile is worth it.
He becomes very aware of your sensitivities in the environment. Every time a balloon pops or some kid screeches he checks in with you. Different days allow different tolerances. If you’re okay, he’ll be attentive to you from there on out, holding your hand for reassurance. If he turns and sees you’re clearly upset, he guides you to safety.
Those times when something thuds loudly in the next apartment and you can’t calm down even though there’s no real threat, he’s right there to soothe you. It’s the same through thunderstorms. If he’s not home, he’ll call you to talk you through it. If he is home, he’ll give you noise-canceling headphones and curl up with you under a soft blanket (totally not unlike that Ouran High School Host Club moment).
Tumblr media
Gang Orca
He makes a lot of noise unintentionally. This guy’s footsteps can be surprisingly heavy and startling. His strength gets away from him every now and then, leading to something getting broken. And, while he’s not clumsy, having such a hulking figure has led his head and arms to get knocked against a wall or machine in a small space. Whenever he makes a sudden and/or loud noise, he apologizes immediately and comforts you. Sometimes you get more worried about his scuffed forehead than the sound. At least it diverts your attention away from any anxiety.
After getting startled, it’s hard to refocus because you’re so on edge, fearing another noise or something worse will come soon. He may not know how to help the first few times it happens. He just knows you’re scared and will comfort you to the best of his ability. Later, he’ll ask if there’s anything you use to self-soothe or what he can do to help you better.
He’s always willing to listen if you need to vent or want to open up about why you get scared. Sometimes there’s a physical or mental cause (hyperacusis, past trauma, high anxiety) and sometimes there isn’t. If it becomes debilitating and interrupts your life, he will encourage you to visit a doctor to see if there’s something out there that would help you.
He loves thunderstorms. The rain, sounds, and smells are all comforting to him. He’s fairly shocked that some people don’t like them. During unusually intense thunderstorms, he’ll prepare a nice hot bath with your favorite candles and music. He’ll join if you ask and it’s possible it’ll lead to more intimate, distracting things.

So. Madison Russell. Godzilla vs Kong. Welcome to my ted talk.
From a writing perspective, they totally wasted her character. She, Josh, and Bernie were almost exclusively used just as a method of showing the audience what was happening "behind the scenes" at Apex. Pouring the whiskey on the computer was about the only thing of note they did, and even that didn't do much. Mechagodzilla was only slightly hindered by it, and if they'd just written Kong and Godzilla differently in the fight scene, they could have skipped the whiskey part entirely. They could have done so much with having people "on the inside" but Monarch as a greater organization barely had any presence at all, which negated the need to have people on the inside.
Maddie's steadfast insistence that Godzilla wasn't a bad guy at the beginning had so much potential, but it became the conspiracy thing instead. It felt less like she wanted to prove Godzilla wasn't turning against humans, and more like she and her new conspiracy friend wanted to crack open a shady organization, which was frustrating. If they wanted to depict her as someone who was forced to become competent at a young age, which was part of the serious, intense vibe I got from her, instead of the inexplicable personality shift, they should have showed her doing something to help. Getting in contact with her dad/Monarch, giving them evidence to begin a city wide evacuation outside the Apex Hong Kong HQ, messing something up or making it harder for the Apex people to get Mechagodzilla up and running—just, anything.
The fact is, we had Maddie being very proactive in KotM. Stealing the ORCA was the game changer. Instead of taking that to the next level in GvK and giving her an opportunity to continue that aspect of her character—that is, being someone who refuses to sit by when she can do something to help, even if it’s dangerous—they rendered her obsolete.
The movie wouldn't have significantly changed if you took her character out. If Bernie went by himself and ended up in Hong Kong, nothing would have changed, because Maddie didn't do anything of personal importance. She went from being an active character in KotM to being a passive one here, which are a pet peeve of mine. If you saw my post about what I liked and didn’t like about Godzilla (2014), that might sound very familiar.
It would also have made so much more sense if she developed a love for studying Titans instead of focusing on conspiracy theories. Plot-wise, it would have given her claim to her dad that Godzilla was being provoked more credence, and could’ve opened an interesting dialogue between them to reinforce that she knows what she’s talking about. Monarch was obviously still a big part of their lives, given that Mark had rejoined, so it would’ve been the perfect opportunity for Maddie to pursue a Titan-related future.
Now, don’t get me wrong. I loved Jia, and wouldn’t want to take her out of the movie or even diminish her presence in it. In fact, I think they should have focused on Jia, and only on Jia.
Hear me out: Godzilla vs Kong should’ve been split in two. A Part 1 and Part 2 situation.
For Part 1, we keep a lot of the GvK canon, especially the Kong-centric stuff. Include even more scenes showing us that he’s protective of Jia, don’t just have Dr. Andrews say that he is. Have him defend her from something dangerous, maybe even from some humans. Include their backstory, how he saved her during the storm. And start it even earlier, before Godzilla attacks Apex the first time. Keep the whole Hollow Earth plot, keep the fight scene in the ocean, keep the discovery of the temple and the axe.
And on the Godzilla side of things, start earlier on that as well. Keep the other Titans in, have humanity tentatively believing that a time of great peace is upon them. Their mere presence is restoring the planet. There was an emphasis of nature, particularly in relation to the Titans, in KotM that I really think they should have included more of in GvK to better tie the two movies together, if only they hadn’t swept all the other Titans under the rug. They wanted a movie about a fight, not about the Titans. So, undo that. Show us a little of what Mark does, do a sweep of the other KotM cast (cameos at the very least) to show how they and Monarch are working to uphold that peace post-Boston. I’d also have loved to see Boston itself, too, five years later.
Instead of giving us a Generic High School scene, show Maddie learning about the Titans alongside the experts. Bring back the wonder and amazement she had when she saw Mothra for the first time, when she reached out and touched her. She’s second generation Monarch, make that mean something. When Maddie took the ORCA to Boston, she had a conviction. She couldn’t not have. She was there in part to lure Ghidorah in, but I can’t even pretend to believe her plan ended with that. She knew Godzilla would come.
That sort of belief is hard to kill, and if death via Ghidorah wasn’t enough to scare her off, no way anything else in those five years afterwards did. Her belief that Godzilla is good survived to GvK, and should’ve been a main focal point of her character. Godzilla attacks Apex—she and every other Monarch person who has spent years studying the Titans knows something is up.
Keep Mark’s character development regarding his opinions on Godzilla. He believes Maddie when she says something has to be wrong, not just because he trusts his daughter, but because he looked into Godzilla’s eyes and saw more than just an animal.
They’re in Part 1 only minimally, just to establish their presence and how they feel about Godzilla destroying Apex. The focus is clearly on Jia and Kong’s side of events.
Sorry, but I’m leaving Josh out and seriously dialing back Bernie’s role. Instead, the character we follow inside Apex is Ren Serizawa. We see his motivations, his ambitions, and he becomes a character with more than just a few lines. Does he resent Godzilla? Or does he resent his father, too? Serizawa’s sacrifice was willing, after all. He was no accidental casualty.
Part 1 ends in the Hollow Earth, with Ghidorah taking control of Mechagodzilla on the surface. Alter the timeline just enough so that Godzilla has only just arrived to Hong Kong, and Kong’s still in the Hollow Earth. The final scene is Mechagodzilla emerging into the city as the sun rises. The post-credits scene is our KotM cast in the Argo, location unknown, watching a screen with Mechagodzilla on it.
Part 2 begins with a reveal: Ren Serizawa isn’t dead.
Backtrack. This part focuses more on the Godzilla side, and Monarch. It’ll have flashback scenes from the five years between KotM and now, showing exactly why Monarch as a whole firmly believes Godzilla is reacting to something instead of being anti-human all of a sudden. The Titans are not inherently malicious; destruction is a side effect of their size, no more, no less. He earned his title of King in KotM—make it mean more than just trying to make Kong “bow.” Make him a protector, a guardian. He’s nature’s balance. By definition, he must protect humans as well.
What Monarch needs to figure out is this: what is he trying to protect them from?
They investigate Apex in search of the answer, but knowing from past experience the sort of things Godzilla gets proactive about—the MUTOs, Ghidorah—Monarch mobilizes. They prepare for another fight, at Mark’s instructions. He witnessed both San Francisco and Boston firsthand, even if the former was from a civilian standpoint.
Godzilla has more hunt scenes. He targets a second Apex lab after his ocean fight with Kong, telling Monarch that they’re on the right track.
Maddie, being a minor and not dragged into the thick of things (yet), has to stay home. Remembering the podcast she sometimes listened to, when the topic was focused on the Titans, she tracks Bernie down, and he tells her about what he saw: the eye.
The two of them go to the ruined Apex building and discover the eye is gone before getting caught. With Monarch currently breathing down their necks, they recognize Maddie to be Mark’s daughter and take her to Hong Kong. Sorry, Bernie, but that’s mostly as far as you’re involved. Timeline-wise, this is roughly when Kong puts the axe in the temple floor and Godzilla blasts a hole to the center of the earth. Monarch is following Godzilla, but they’re behind a bit thanks to the tunnel shortcuts. They’re still unaware that Maddie has been kidnapped and is en route to Hong Kong.
This is also when Mechagodzilla gains a life of its own. Walter Simmons is killed and Ren Serizawa becomes trapped in the link to Mechagodzilla, serving as the bridge between the robot and Ghidorah’s mind. Ghidorah is essentially controlling MG by controlling Ren, who is controlling MG. Make sense? He’s the puppeteer’s puppeteer.
We reverse some things. Godzilla fights MG first, gets beat around but not as much as in GvK because he isn’t fresh out of a different fight. Kong returns to the surface through the tunnel Godzilla created, having carried the one remaining HEAV out himself, because Nathan Lind has never flown one before and doesn’t know how they work. Kong wants to protect Jia, and Ilene Andrews and Nathan Lind are very lucky that Jia likes them.
Mechagodzilla sees Kong and takes off, and Kong decides now would be a great time to fight Godzilla, who’s having a pretty bad day. Monarch arrives, and half of them split off to follow MG while the rest stay to try and deescalate the situation. Other than Godzilla faring slightly less well, the fight goes mostly the same as in the movie, except for one big difference: one of the Monarch crafts pick up Jia and Co, and she’s able to get Kong’s attention from the back of an Osprey well enough to tell him to stop fighting. There’s a bigger threat out there, and Godzilla definitely needs to be okay enough to fight it. Either they work together, or they reschedule.
She’s very stern about it, and though no one’s really sure what the two Titans decide on, they stop fighting. They leave together to go after Mechagodzilla, who is currently being slowed down by Mothra, because she deserves to be in this movie. The other Titans basically hinder Mechagodzilla as much as possible as it rampages, telling Godzilla where it is. Monarch finally figures out that it’s heading for the nearest entrance to the Hollow Earth, right around when they also figure out that Ghidorah is involved. With Dr. Andrews and Nathan Lind’s input, they theorize it intends to take more of the power source down there to further strengthen it.
They do their best to clear the cities in its path, evacuating as many people as possible. It’s all they can do. As in the past, they must trust Godzilla to do the heavy lifting. Around the same time, an assistant tells Mark that some guy named Bernie called and is asking for him. This is how he finds out Maddie was taken to Apex’s Hong Kong location.
Meanwhile, the Apex guards and Maddie finally arrive to find the facility abandoned and damaged, MG gone, and Simmons dead. The guards more or less split, leaving her there alone. Maddie, being Maddie, goes deeper until she finally discovers Ghidorah’s skull and Ren Serizawa inside, trapped in his own head with Ghidorah. It’s killing him.
He’s aware enough to have a conversation with her. They argue about the Titans. He wants Godzilla destroyed out of anger over his father’s preference for Titans, rather than his own son.
(“You’re not the only one with ghosts!” she yells at him. “You’re not the only one who resents a parent for putting Titans ahead of you when you needed them!” He chokes out, “I do not resent my father—” “Coulda fooled me. Why else would you be spitting on his sacrifice like this? Who are you trying to help, huh? All the other kids out there who are losing their moms and dads because you let Ghidorah out? Sorry, mister, but the last time someone did that, your dad paid the price.”)
Ren is getting worse. He’s going to die if he stays in the link much longer, but he can’t disconnect. Maddie, looking around, gets to work on something. The camera slowly pans around to show that there’s a second pilot seat, back-to-back with Ren’s. It would allow for seamless switching between pilots without MG ever not having someone at the controls.
Even with the other Titans’ help, Godzilla and Kong are unable to stop MG from going through the tunnel and into the Hollow Earth. Monarch is unable to follow, because of the gravity issue. They’re both tired from the journey and their fight, especially Godzilla. This is their last chance. If Mechagodzilla reaches the power source, it’s all over.
The fight doesn’t go in their favor. They’re both bad at working together, so their attacks are uncoordinated at best, actively hindering each other at worst. Kong gets flung off a mountain and MG pins Godzilla. Even thought he caught himself, Kong isn’t going to make it up in time to help him.
Maddie puts on an identical pilot setup, and with Ren’s instructions, switches the link over to herself, freeing Ren. He collapses forward, immediately falling unconscious from the release of the strain. Fighting past the pain and overwhelming presence suddenly in her head, Maddie does what she does best: she causes Ghidorah problems.
She screams, and it echoes like a roar through his skull.
In the Hollow Earth, Mechagodzilla stumbles.
It’s the beginning of the end. She can’t control it or even really stop Ghidorah, but she gets in his way as much as possible, giving Godzilla and Kong the edge they need to finally get their act together and use some teamwork to take Mechagodzilla down. They destroy it and return to the surface before parting on amicable terms.
After too long, Mark arrives at Apex with a whole team of people. Ren Serizawa is found comatose but alive, and he’s quickly removed for medical attention. Though Maddie’s also alive, there’s something else clearly wrong. She’s still wired into the piloting gear, stiff and unseeing, as if she’s frozen. Her eyes are open but distant, pupils virtually gone from how constricted they are, and her jaw hangs open slightly. Despite how tense her body is, she’s limp. Nothing they do wakes her up, even after getting her out of the skull.
They wheel her out on a gurney to where a handful of Ospreys landed, but as they leave the building and step out onto the roof, they find Godzilla has returned. He watches them, and he’s exactly as aware as Mark remembers.
(“She tried to help you,” Mark calls out to him. No one knows exactly what happened in the Hollow Earth, during the fight, but the scene in Ghidorah’s skull was telling. “No, she—she did help you!” For the second time in her life, Maddie put herself in Ghidorah’s path and, ultimately, won. Only this time, her victory came with a price.)
Godzilla snorts before leaning over the roof’s railing, moving toward the gurney. The humans all back away, even Mark, though he doesn’t go far. Spines humming, eyes flaring blue, Godzilla rumbles deeply.
On the gurney, Maddie stirs.
Later, much later, after Maddie and Jia have met—heaven help everyone else, honestly—they sit together on the edge of a pier over the ocean, Jia leaning comfortably against Maddie. It’s quiet. They’re alone, watching the sunset. A heavy footfall behind them, the feel of the vibration trembling through the wood, makes them turn around. Half concealed in the brush at the edge of the island’s foliage, Kong stands, facing them.
They both wave before standing. They sign goodbye to each other, then part ways. As Maddie walks away to a waiting Osprey, we see behind her as Kong crouches to allow Jia to climb into his palm before vanishing into the forest.
The Osprey takes off over the calm ocean. It has a different design than most, with a large door set in the side instead of at the back, more like an ordinary helicopter. It’s open as they go, Maddie secure inside as she stares out. A smile spreads across her face as jagged spines slowly breach the ocean’s surface, easily keeping pace with the Osprey, which lowers to be closer to the water.
For just a moment, in the fading light, Maddie’s eyes almost shine blue. The screen goes black to the sound of Godzilla’s roar.

Hey there...I love so much your fanfics so...I wanted to make a request about Bakugou x Kind! Reader. Her quirk is fire but she creates flower-shaped flames. Bakugou already has a crush on her 'cause she's so gorgerous, kind and positive with everyone. But with him had other feelings more than friends, whe he gets mad she always says to him: "Now now, don't you worry so. I hate to see that smile of yours disappear".
The part where she fails the hero license exam and retake the exam with Bakugou an Todoroki. Kids act so nice with her when she shows them her quirk amazing them, but Bakugou gets mad but she says: "How can you be so cross with the kids here. Look how adorable they are!" When they work together with Todoroki, Camie and Yoarashi, that's the part where Bakugou see how she can hava a golden heart with everyone even if moments are so cruel and confesses his feelings to her ending with a kiss
a/n: hi hun! thank you so much!! this request gave me a lot to work with, so i hope you enjoy it!! this week has been so crazy and stressful, my house almost caught on fire but everyone’s okay and we didn’t have any damage at all, we were very lucky but it was definitely scary lol
summary: bakugou’s crushing on you hard, and it’s worse when he realizes how kind you are, he can’t seem to wrap his head around you, everything about you is perfect, and when the moment is right, he tells you exactly how he feels.

Flower-shaped flames look about as gorgeous and dangerous as they sound. The sight of rose or daises with the heat of an erupting volcano, it’s so beautiful to look at, but just as dangerous to get near.
From the moment Bakugou laid eyes on you, he’d always felt a little different. He’d still get angry or have his superiority complex, but his heart would beat a little faster than it usually did. The tips of his ears would be stained pink from the constant blush he usually held on his face when he spoke to you.
And the non-stop teasing from Kaminari and Mina about having a crush on you didn’t help. No matter how many times he tried to deny them, the thought of dating you still crept into his head when he laid in his bed, trying to fall asleep.
It was more of a challenge when he saw how sweet and kind you were to everyone, including him. It was a shock. Not really all that wild considering he has ‘friends’ but the notion of someone like you, who could probably never hurt a fly if you tried, despite having all the courage to beat up bad guy, being just as kind to Bakugou like he hadn’t called you an idiot for forgetting your pen in class.
It was the simple things you did for Bakugou that made his heart ached and his face warm. Like when you let him borrow your notes when he had to miss school for getting caught fighting with Midoriya.
Or the words you would always say to him when he got mad. The same words he’d heard so many times, the same words that made his heart skip a beat.
“Piss off!” Bakugou yelled toward Kaminari, stomping away from the electric prankster who had just silly-stringed the explosive blonde.
“Now, now, don’t you worry so. I’d hate to see that smile of yours disappear.” You nudge him and smile, walking beside him as he stares at you. It wasn’t the first time you’d said it to him, but it felt like the first time every time you said it.
It was one of the lines that felt almost too cinematic to be true, but nonetheless, he’d grumble something along the lines of ‘yeah okay shitty woman’ and walk away with a smirk.
What was a surprising kind of shock was when you didn’t pass the Hero License Exam. The three of you were the only students from 1-A that didn’t make it.
However, when the time for remedial lessons came, you were up early in the morning, ready to go. You beat Bakugou to the bus a few times, and despite you and Present Mic having loud conversations the entire trip both back and forth the few days you went, Bakugou still couldn’t find it in himself to lose feelings for you.
The more he looked at you, the more beautiful you seemed to get. He could gaze at you for hours, you were just so ethereal it was unreal. He felt chills when you would glance back at him and smile, and a pang of jealously when you would do the same for Todoroki, though you were just being nice.
However, the day you arrived and Gang Orca was leading the day’s session, there were some new things in store.
You stood with Bakugou and Todoroki, alongside Camie and Inasa. When the children were let into the building, you’re expression changed.
You thought you were going to have to do some intensive training exercise over some intense obstacle course. But you’re intense fighting face changed to something light and giggly.
You’d always worked pretty well with kids, and just being kind to them came naturally. Whether or not you liked them was a little more blurry, but nonetheless, they were little humans and they deserved the same kindness as anyone else did.
Bakugou and the others were pretty shocked, but you were one of the first ones to leave the line you’d been standing in to go mingle with the kids. You learned a few of their names and examined their quirks, watching in awe as the next generation of possible heroes stood before you.
They ran around, full of energy, and reminded you of your own youth.
“She’s sort of a natural with kids.” Camie commented, smiling as she watched you talk and laugh with a group of girls.
“She’s just naturally kind.” Todoroki said plainly. He wasn’t wrong, but the comment was almost unintentionally an insult in Bakugou’s eyes.
Bakugou’s eyes twitched as he examined the sight. Kids. Children. How the hell was this supposed to help him get his hero license? What purpose did this even serve?
Bakugou was getting targeted for looking so bold, his hero costume having a few flashy colors and some rather dangerous components, he was trying his best not to hurt anyone, taking off his gauntlets.
One kid was persistent in getting on his nerves.
“Shut it you little-”
“Bakugou!” You yelled, earning his attention. His head snapped up instantly as he held the kid off the ground by the collar of his shirt.
“Put him down.” You sighed, walking over to the two. Bakugou’s set him down and huffed, watching as the kid stuck his tongue out and ran off to go attempt to torment the other students taking their remedial lessons.
“He was asking for it! The little punk.” Bakugou mumbled, eyeing the children as they ran around rambunctiously.
“Watch and learn big boy.” You pat his shoulder as you turn around and approach a group of the kids. Bakugou eyes you closely, trying to figure out what they were doing.
With a few words of caution, you began to show off your quirk, allowing the children to watch as you created flower-shaped flames.
The children watched in amazement as did Bakugou. They were so impressed and excited over your quirk. Bakugou didn’t see how they were acting so calm, yet it gave him a few ideas.
He was still pretty mad. When you were done presenting your quirk, the kids were happy, and ready to see more. You returned to Bakugou and nudged his side.
“How can you be so cross with the kids here? Look how adorable they are!” You smiled, gazing at the crowd before you.
“I’m not mad-”
“Your hair tends to be a bit spikier when you’re angry.” You comment, ruffling his blonde locks between your fingers as he tenses under your soft touch.
“It does not!” Bakugou protests. You smile and shake your head.
Eventually, it all comes to an end and you all inspire the kids. Showing off and using your quirks to help them use theirs, you create something beautiful when the time is up.
Ready to leave, Bakugou knows he’s got to tell you what’s been on his mind. Everyone is standing around waiting for the next bus to head back to the campus. Bakugou pulls you aside before you manage to walk out.
“Listen dumbass.” Bakugou begins. You tilt your head to the side, ready to listen like you always do.
“You really make me feel weird.” Bakugou grumbles.
“But it’s a good kind of weird. Like I like you or something. And I want to be your boyfriend.” Bakugou shoves his hands in his pockets, his fingers gripping his thumbs from his nerves.
For being a guy who’s got a pretty big ego, he was practically falling apart at the seams confessing his feelings for you. You can’t help but smile at his confession.
“Well, I’d like to be your girlfriend.” You lightly punch his shoulder, watching as his cheeks turn a shade of crimson. In a flash, he crashes his lips on yours.
It’s quick but sweet. He acted out of impulse, and when he pulled away he was embarrassed.
“Sor-” Going to apologize he was cut off by another kiss, this time initiated by you pulling his tie, pulling him into you.
Your lips moved against his sweetly as you kissed him, reassuring him that it was okay.
When you pulled away, you couldn’t help but smile and feel some heat rise to your cheeks.
“You’re sitting next to me on the bus.” Bakugou huffed, sliding a hand in yours.
“Alright. But don’t yell at me if I fall asleep. I’m exhausted.” You yawn, your fingers intertwined with Bakugou’s.
The bus ride back to school felt much longer, probably because you were so tired, but dozing off on Bakugou’s shoulder certainly helped. And you couldn’t wait to see what the future held for the two of you.

“OBC News with a terrible update;
All Might has been declared deceased.
This is our final broadcast as the League villains have since set off a bomb big and strong enough to destroy more than just Japan. I hope everyone has time to contact those they love, and may your G-d be with you when it hits. Kane J signing off for the last time. Good night Musutafu.
Denki clicks the remote and the dorm common room falls silent.
“All Might’s dead?” Sero whimpers.
“We all are.” Bakugo spits. “We’re all dead because the heroes couldn’t stop the villains. They killed us.”
“Bakugo, you should make peace with this before it happens. You don’t want to die with all of that hatred in your heart.” You suggest, putting your head down. “They did their best.”
“Don’t tell me what to…” Bakugo starts his usual banter but realizes it’s futile at this point.
All of class 1-A is in the common room, their eyes previously glued to the television to find out the verdict of their now-dead mentor. Nobody is crying. You think they’re all in shock. You’re not crying either.
“I guess we should call our families,” Mina pulls out her cell phone but sees the service has gone. “Never mind.” She put her phone back in her pocket to her pajama shorts. “I can’t even say goodbye to my parents. My mom must be worried sick.”
The room is filled with silent mutters, maybe prayers, maybe admittances of regret, you swear you can hear one or two proclamations of love from your fellow classmates. Even Ochako grows the confidence to grab Deku’s hand with a whisper of ‘I’m scared’.
“Class, I’m sorry.” A gruff voice breaks the tension, the group turns around swiftly. It’s Mr. Aizawa all beaten and bloodied. His face is barely recognizable, his hair is stuck to his face with his own blood, and probably others as well. You’re surprised he even made it back to the dorms. He collapses to his knees and his head is bowed.
You stand up first to help, he’s barely sitting up on his own. Momo and Hagakure follow closely.
“Momo and Hagakure please get the first aid.” You get on your knees to be at his height as well so you can fully assess his damage and the girls go off to find the first aid. “Mr. Aizawa, you shouldn’t apologize for things that you can’t control. You all did your best. We all know that…” You pull his hair back and see that his eyes are gone. You let out a small gasp, but he grabs your wrist.
“Don’t tell them,” He quietly cries. “I don’t want them to be even more scared than they are. I’m sorry you had to be the one to see, but I know you can keep it together so I’m glad it was you. I’ve always known you were special.”
You’ve never seen Mr. Aizawa show emotion like this. It really is over.
Your classmates come back with the first aid, but you tell them Mr. Aizawa doesn’t want it, and he just wants us to sit together and appreciate each other in our final moments.
“Thank you all for being such an aspiring class.” You help Mr. Aizawa find his way to the couch. All you can think about is how his blood is going to stain it. “You truly were the best students I ever had. I’m honored I got to teach you. You all have such great potential. I’m sorry I couldn’t stop the League soon enough for you to be able to show it off to the rest of the world. You all had the drive to be the number one hero.” You sit next to your teacher, and he gives your wrist a slight squeeze. “Thank you for showing me what it means to be a good teacher with a greater purpose.”
“Mr. Aizawa…” Iida smiles. “Thank you for everything you have taught us.”
The class gets closer to each other in a huddle. You can tell it’ll happen any minute now. The bomb. It’s just a gut feeling.
“Mr. Aizawa, I have to ask you, my dad…” Todoroki begins to speak and Mr. Aizawa sighs before sniffling and shaking his head. “I see then.” Todoroki moves his eyes from the teacher to the floor.
Kirishima and Tokoyami, who are on either side of Shouto, rub his back to try and comfort him.
“I’m sorry, Todoroki. Most pro-heroes didn’t make it. Endeavor, Midnight, King Orca, Best Jeanist, Ms. Joke, All Might… They all showed up and tried to stop them, but it just wasn’t enough. There was more to them than we expected. I was the only one who escaped. But what I saw-“ He cuts himself off and thinks about his next words. “They all died very quickly and painlessly.”
You haven’t been very close to Mr. Aizawa, he is a very closed guy after all. But you could tell he was lying. What he actually saw was the pro heroes dying in terrible ways. He was only granted mercy after his eyes were removed. That physical pain was labeled as a relief to the alternative of watching his friends and coworkers die off.
You look to your left and see Katsuki sitting by himself away from the group. He’s the only one not in the huddle.
“Bakugo? Why aren’t you sitting over here? We’re all saying goodbye.” You try to inch him to sit with you all.
He slowly stands up and his eyes meet yours, they’re empty. As soon as he sits, he huffs and mutters out his last words.
“We’re so young. We’ve barely lived. We’re just kids.”
It was as if Katsuki’s words were the final nail in the coffin, everybody soaks them in and beings crying. Even you shed a tear. Not for yourself, you’re dying, which is sad, but you’re really only worried that all of your friends are dying as well. The classmates that helped you through so much and fought beside you on multiple occasions. You always imagined that they would live full lives of success and triumph. You would help them be the best they could be, even if that meant failure for yourself. And now they’re going to die at your side. And there’s nothing you can do to help; all you can do is sit and watch in hopes that you go last so they all have someone to die with.
Shortly after Class 1-A’ revelation of death, a boom can be heard from the other side of Japan.
“It’s here.” Kirishima chuckles. “I guess I’ll see you all on the other side. Maybe we can save more people there.”
“Goodbye class. You did well.” Iida sits up tall, staying strong as class rep, staring at the blast head-on.
And just as if you were seeing light for the first time, it was also your last.

ten duel commandments
pairing: shoto todoroki x reader
a/n: listening to 10 duel commandments of hamilton gives me strong angst vibes so yeah. and idk is this is angst or just drama but it’s kinda inspired in the actual manga arc of this huge battle bc i’m in pain. reader’s quirk is basically earth bending like atla jajajaja. also might do a part two. idk
Tumblr media
there are ten things you need to know.
number one.
the challenge, demand satisfaction. but not for you clearly, the temperature dropped. the alert rang in al school, another villain attack. this time it was real, this time you know there’s no thing such as flukes or surrender.
hands are shaking, barely managing to put your hero costume in the right way. the clock is ticking, you feel your classmates heavy breath. momo, mina, kota, ojiro.
him.
you make your way back to shoto. his shoulders relax at the sight of you. he holds your hands, the shiver stops. he attracts them to his chest. a kiss is stolen. you’ll make it, you are heroes. well somehow you are.
number two.
“we don’t have time to think!” kaminari snaps, he is not wrong. your professors are fighting, the plan was simple, but still the league was strong. only a fool would never admit that.
“we can’t go out there and just fight like pro heroes” momo talks back, her voice is cracked and the fear tears threaten to sneak out.
“let’s split in groups” you suggest. hope, that’s what you all need. you came to fight for a better world. for peace. “we can beat them, some of us should remain here to figure something out, while others... we’ll try to gain you guys some time”
you search for your boyfriend’s eyes. todoroki can’t stop looking at you. no, not you.
“(y/n) don’t even...”
“midoriya, you and some others are perceptive and logical, if we don’t do this we don’t have a chance”
“she’s right, and we have to do it now!” bakugou agrees, not quite liking the idea of splitting but it was the best option.
he knows they are right. but he didn’t want to let go your hand yet. you are very capable of protecting yourself, but still if something happened to you..
jirou places a hand on your shoulder and smiles to todoroki.
“we will have each other’s back” she assures your boyfriend, quite knowing how he feels. in fact no one wanted their friends and classmates to risk his life if they were not able to be there and help.
number three.
his heart doesn’t stop beating. each beat feels harder and quicker than before.
your eyes, those (y/e/c) dazzling eyes.
a hug, a passionate kiss, the clock stopping for a moment.
“please, just... stay together”
number four.
he lets your hand go, the explosions and screams, you hear them closer. the wind is cold, but blood is warm.
take a deep breath. take a huge step.
and so, you and your friends start running to the battle. there’s no way back.
but there is someone waiting for you at the end of the line.
just breathe.
have your seconds, meet face to face.
five.
his pulse increases. he searches for your hand. you are not there.
“midoriya are you sure that’s the only way?” yaoyorozu asked midoriya while quick standing up, they have no time to go through the plan all over again, but todoroki knows that she is just asking because the plan meant a huge risk for everyone.
she cared, and so did everyone.
“as the nerd said, the only thing those bastards have is time!” bakugou says while he starts running. “they know being surrounded by pros is going to be hard so they’ll try to be quick, so we’ll be faster”
“and so, that’s why we have to do it, if everything goes well, they’ll be gone in a moment” todoroki assures.
or at least he tries to trust.
because this needed to work, they currently can’t have the luxury of second chances.
and so they hurry.
number six.
he lefts a sigh of relief out when he divides you in the second line of cavalry.
blood and dirt on your face, your hands were moving as well as every inch of your body. your tired groans, your death glares to the villains. your ethereal posture.
angelic, he thinks while running to your group, he needed to explain the plan to as many people as he could.
you take a glance towards him, a sentiment of family runs through his head. a sentiment of comfort.
no, majestic. he corrects himself catching your glance.
a huge wall of ice is made between you and the horrific villain who tried to kills you, he takes care of him too, freezing his whole body.
a wall of opportunity was made.
he holds you like he’s never done before. that movement gave you a few seconds to breathe again. as well as to jirou, tsuyu and shoji. also the pros that were in charge of you.
your head on his shoulder, his heart on your palm.
a whisper, and a chance.
“i love you too”
seven!
“everyone got it?” todorki asks to the crowd. a few people reunited there.
four hero groups. a villain army. a cliff and one single opportunity.
they all nod, and so the time out is gone. momo creating cannons in the west along with heroes like gang orca and cementos. midoriya and eraser head in the north, with bunch of people two. bakugou at the south, flying with explosion with present mic and so many others behind him. and todoroki sliding with ice and you by his side. with so others at his side.
just hold a few more minutes, all you had to do is push and drop.
the crash happens, the heroes and the villains meet once again. you just have to keep pushing them back. you had to direct them to the corner of the cliff.
then you along with every other emitting quirk holder will just blast your full potential to break the cliff and let the villains fall for their destiny.
you can do it.
and you have to do it.
number eight.
confess your sins. the moment of truth, villains are despicable, ruin, and sometimes psychotic. but also, clever.
you take a step back, dabi is in front of you. you vaguely reincorporated when a huge wall of flames split you apart from todoroki.
“let’s dance, darling” he says, chaotically calm.
“believe me” your feet stuck to the ground, you clean the blood from your mouth with your sleeve “there is no better dancer than me”
you lift a earth barrier, he blows it away with fire. a big foot step and the ground shakes, causing him to unbalance. you push him a few meters away.
you wait.
you search.
you made it.
once you realize that you had push the villains to the place you exactly wanted them to be, you don’t wait. when present mic’s voice was heard all over the battlefield.
todoroki steps back leaving you and all the other heroes to do your thing.
but he doesn’t rest.
his on guard ready to react to anything that might put anyone in danger. that might put you in danger.
he concentrates himself, he is not going to lose.
he doesn’t see the huge villain going to his back, while transforming his hand to a gun.
you do.
you were holding the ground, a terrified look comes across your eyes.
and the time stops again, or at least it slows down.
a look to the cliff you were holding.
a gaze to your boyfriend. and the villain who is ready to kill him.
you can do it.
10 seconds, maybe.
you keep one hand in the ground holding it until the final sign shows up. the sign that meant “let the villains fall now”
and the other one, you quickly raise it to shouto’s direction.
your body hurts.
the villain with the gun is thrown away by a massive piece of soil that you created.
todoroki turns around. he freezes the villain.
you hold, just a little bit longer.
the cue is shouted.
and you feel how something pierces your stomach.
nine.
a heartrending scream.
todoroki’s throat hurts, everyone heard his scream.
a heart breaks.
and you still feel a cold metallic knife in you.
the energy you had starts fading away, you look around and see toga with a huge smile in her face.
the time still is slowed down.
you feel your feet part from the ground. you were now floating, small pieces of soil surrounded you.
you see todoroki, he is slowly getting far from you.
it’s breaks your heart now, his eyes, those beautiful heterochromatic eyes are desperate.
at least he is safe now.
you can go now.
an arm suddenly surrounds your waist, it hurts even more than before. you don’t know why, maybe they wanted to take you away so that your classmates suffer your loss.
dying is one thing.
but dying and being lost is something completely different.
and with the few energy that your body has, you search for your aggressor.
dabi smirks, evil. he is also holding toga with his free arm. your body enrages knowing they will escape.
villains are smart, but those two were brilliant.
you look around and see hundreds of other villains falling from the cliff.
your heartbeats slow down too.
just one more time.
you still divise him, now some feet away and higher from you.
black, everything is turning black.
‘shouto todoroki, my love’ you think ‘thank you’
‘thank you for letting me see you one last time’
and number ten.
he starts counting, everyone does.
he doesn’t care, he’ll jump.
he sees your figure, falling down from the cliff.
you body, having a knife through it.
your arm, stretched out trying to reach his. your arms calling out for someone to go your way and hold it.
you eyes, widened, terrified.
4 seconds.
his feet don’t stop, he has to reach you. his breathless, but he has to become your hero now. you were waiting for him.
he is tired, his body doesn’t seem to respond. he no longer has ice, or fire. he tries, but nothing happens.
in the limit of the cliff he still tries to jump.
someone grabs him by the collar of his suit.
11 seconds.
he watches you, being held by him. and her laughing at what she’s done to you.
todoroki’s body is shaking.
todoroki’s body is clueless.
he sees your eyes, one last time before all the dust covers you and your kidnappers.
his head hurts.
and all of that because he sees your eyes, fighting.
his soul leaves his body.
14 seconds.
because the last thing he sees of you is your eyes closing.
his heart stops.
and he knows he is not there to see them opening again.
“please... just”
hand to his chest, holding back the tears.
“STAY ALIVE” he shouts into the void of the cliff bottom.
one phrase.
one scream.
one echoed broken voice.
one tired hero army.
only 21 seconds.
and one heartbroken teenager was all the battle left.

Words- 4186
Katsuki Bakugo x Midoriya!Reader, Izuku Midoriya x Cousin!Reader
Warning-Spoilers from show and end of Hero license Arc, fighting scenes, and angst.
Series Masterlist
You were outside the exam area getting ready to head back to the dorms in your hands was your license. Taking a picture you send it to your parents excited to get closer to becoming a Pro. You feel your phone buzz and there is a message from each of your parents congratulating you for passing and plans to have a dinner in celebration next time you visit. You heard footsteps coming next to you,
“Y/NNNN! Look at my license this is soo cool!” Mina squeals shoving the little piece of plastic into your face.
You smile pushing her hand away, “We’ll probably get more work from Aizawa now that we got licenses and want to see more hands on work.” Mina nodded picking up her suitcase holding her hero costume and you followed her grabbing yours as you boarded the bus.
As you sat down in the window seat you watched as you began to make your way back to U.A. Looking back on what you couldn’t change in the first part of the exam and even at the 2nd half of the exam, what kept bugging you was what did you do to Gang Orca? You felt more powerful when it happened and he couldn’t use his quirk, you were the only other person fighting him. What is the full extent of your quirk? How powerful could I be? How dangerous could it be?
“Mina, I gotta ask you a favor when we get back to the dorms.” She turned her attention to you and nodded deciding not to probe as there were others around.
When you arrived back at Heights Alliance most of your classmates got ready for bed other lounging around in the common room talking about the end of summer. One by one your classmates headed off to bed until it was just you and Mina.
“So what’s the favor?” Mina asked, you were the only two left in the common rooms sitting on the couches. You got up heading outside to the courtyard.
Stopping once you were in the middle of the area you turned and faced her, “I want you to fight me.”
“What..um..we just did all that today, and your head are you sure?” Mina tried to talk you out of it.
“I just wanna test a theory, nothing too much, just use your quirk as much as possible.” You said she seemed hesitate before psyching herself up, before rushing towards you sending a wave of acid towards you.
You dodge using your quirk to push her acid away from you sending a kick towards her ribs but she blocked it with her arm. She sent a kick to you and you blocked it with your arms pushing her back sending her stumbling. You and Mina had been fighting for a few minutes now you both getting tired already using most of your energy during the exam.
Mina uses her acid to slide towards you but you grab her arm when she goes to throw a punch flipping her over you body. She does a couple of flips before standing up. Right when acid begins to form on her hands you lift your hands up focusing on the theory you had closing your eyes trying to focus.
“What the hell?” You open them and Mina is covered with a simple red haze light Gang Orca moving her hands around trying to use her quirk but unable to. Your hands are the same bright red as before waves of energy flowing through your hands. “I can’t use my quirk.”
“Holy shit!” You drop your hands and the red haze disappears and Mina goes to use her quirk and is now able to create acid.
“Did you do that?” You flop back sitting on the ground and Mina comes over and sits next to you.
“When I was fighting Gang Orca, when he tried to attack me I was able to stop him from using his quirk.” You look down at your hands letting them glow red energy weaving through your fingers. “I thought I was just going crazy, my quirk I could move things with my mind and all. There was a time when we were learning special moves. I didn’t need to physically see the atoms to disintegrate Ectoplasm’s clone.” You turn to face Mina, “If I keep training, who knows what my quirk could do?”
“This is so cool it’s like having more than one quirk, and once we are Pro and we work harder you could be the next number one.”
You smile, “Only if you’re right there with me.” Mina laughed pulling you into a hug. You both relaxed in the quiet enjoying each other's company unaware of a fight happening on campus. You couldn’t tell how long you were there but you could tell Mina was getting tired, her yawning every so often. “You should head to bed Mina.” You turn to your friend who was nodding off but shot up when you talked to her.
Rubbing her eyes she shook her head, “Nah..I’m..uhhh...fine. I don’t wanna leave you alone.” She gave you a sleepy smile, you shook your head, smiling, getting up to help your half-asleep friend up bringing her to the elevators.
“Crap I forgot my hoodie, you fine with getting to your room.” You turn to your friend who was getting into the elevator.
“Yeah.. yawn..I’ll be good night Y/n.” She waves you off as the doors close. You head back to the courtyard grabbing it, zipping it up. You turn to head out of the courtyard when you see the lights are on inside and two people talking. You hide yourself from their view listening in on the conversation.
“Security bot went off two people at Ground Beta, it’s Midoriya and Bakugo.” You hear Mr. Aizawa and not having to see his face you can tell he is pissed.
“Let me go Aizawa. I’ll bring them back.” You heard All Might as well, how bad is this. Well it is Izuku and Bakugo so it can’t be good.
“Fine you better bring them back.” You hear Mr. Aizawa groan and you hear All Might thank him before you hear them both leave. You walk into the common room after hearing both All Might and Aizawa leave, you hesitated going back to your room. You should just ignore it, they have the situation under control. But Bakugo did seem pretty upset after the exam, you run your hands through your hair deciding on what to do.
‘This is dumb’ You thought trailing after All Might you were far away keeping to the outskirts of the path away from the middle where All Might was. ‘You should have just headed back to your room but here you are stupid’ You mumble following after your teacher.
“So how long are you going to keep trailing after me young Midoriya?” You freeze when he calls out turning to face you.
Your face burned red, embarrassed your teacher had caught you, “I didn’t mean to follow after you it’s just I heard that it was Izuku and Bakugo and just wanted to make sure they were okay, I’m sorry.” You bow looking at your feet hoping he wouldn’t send you back or worst punish you.
“It’s alright you are concerned for your classmate and cousin, come on we shouldn’t delay.” You hear All Might say and you stand straight. You nodded rushing to catch up with him both of you walking side by side. “I heard both you and Midoriya passed your licensing exams, congratulations your parents must be proud.” You nodded
“After everything that has happened something as normal seems as getting my license seems small. I guess the hero life isn’t always smooth sailing.” You said as you both made your way to Ground Beta the sound of fighting getting louder. When you got there both Bakugo and Izuku were rushing to each other. Izuku was sending kicks while Bakugo sends explosion after explosion to his classmate.
You step forward ready to stop the fight when All Might puts his hand in front “Shouldn’t you stop them All Might?” You questioned.
“These two have both been holding in a lot. It may not seem the best but they need to let the steam out.” He explained as Izuku was flung into some railing barely dodging Bakugo’s blast. You nodded your stomach dropping every time one of the boys was hit or thrown to the ground. Izuku and Bakugo in the air when Bakugo flipped them over so Izuku was closer to the ground sending an explosion that hurtles them to the ground. The strength of the blast sent debris everywhere some heading to you and All Might but you put up a barrier to protect you both. When the smoke cleared Bakugo was sitting over Izuku holding him down, both of them covered in scratches and cuts trying to catch their breaths.
“That’s it… We’re done here- I won this fight.” Bakugo pants pressing Izuku into the ground more making him groan. “You have All Might’s power, but even using his strength, even after making it your own, somehow you still managed to lose to me. Why?” He huffs looking down at his classmate. “How could you lose?” He demands squeezing harder onto Izuku's face and that’s when you had enough. Energy surrounds Bakugo and Izuku’s bodies and you pull them away from each other putting them at a safe distance.
“Stop this right now. Both of you.” All Might says to them. They both look up and see you and All Might Izuku is surprised seeing his mentor and cousin and Bakugo is shocked seeing you. You could barely look at them upset with them and at yourself why did things have to be so difficult. You couldn’t choose sides being pulled into two opposite directions, Izuku being your family and Bakugo being your friend or maybe more. “I’m sorry. But I heard what you’ve said.” All Might apologizes walking towards the two of them you behind him.
“All Might.” Bakugo breathes out glancing over to you.
“When’d you both get here?” Izuku groans
“I didn’t notice before. I should have.” All Might says and Bakugo looks away
“It’s too late now. Why did you pick Deku?” Bakugo asks the three of you to look at the blonde. “It started when the sludge villain came, didn’t it. So why him?” You didn’t know Bakugo’s side of that whole event but when Izuku explained how he got his quirk from All Might that was included as well.
“He was powerless. But still more heroic than anyone else. I knew you were strong. That much was obvious. You were someone who could already fight. So, I decided that he should have the chance to stand in the ring.” All Might explained walking over to stand in front of Bakugo.
“But now you know I’m weak, too.” Bakugo chokes out you could hear him try to hold back tears, “I always wanted to be like you, which meant being as strong as possible. But look what I did to you. Look what I did to Y/n she has those scars because of me. Because I’m not good enough.” You bring your hand up to where your scars are; they were faded but the memories still lie there.
“This is not your fault, Young Bakugo. I was always going to lose my power. You couldn’t do anything to change that. You are strong. But I focused too much on your physical strength and overlooked what was important. This isn’t your burden.” All Might places a hand on a shaky Bakugo pulling him into his chest letting him cry. “I apologize. Sometimes I forget that you’re children.” Bakugo pushes away from All Might, his forehead creased, squeezing his eyes shut so no tears fall. “After being a hero for so many years, you learn a few things. Striving to be the best, like you, Young Bakugo. And caring deeply about people about reducing people like you, young Midoriya.” He looks at Bakugo before turning to Izuku, “Both of those feelings are necessary in a hero. Otherwise, they’ll never truly be able to represent justice. That’s why you admire his strength so much, Young Midoriya. And I know that’s why you’ve always feared his heart and spirit, Young Bakugo. Now that you’ve laid your feelings out on the table, maybe you can understand each other. If you have mutual respect and focus on making one another stronger, I’ve no doubt you’ll become the ultimate heroes, winning and saving people at the same time.”
Both Izuku and Bakugo look at each other. Bakugo looks at the ground and sighs, “Dammit. That’s not what I wanted to hear.” he falls back to sitting on the ground pouting. “You. You had the strongest guy in the world lay the groundwork for you. Don’t you dare lose again.”
Izuku nods “I’ll work harder so that I can beat you.”
“Okay, so talk. Who knows about you two?” Bakugo asks Izuku and All Might.
“Recovery Girl and Principal Nezu do. As far as students go.. Only you.” All Might says
“Um about that, Izuku told me about this before all this so” You add and Bakugo looks at you shocked that you didn’t tell him and you knew before. “It was after Kamino Ward, he’s my cousin you think I wouldn’t know if he suddenly had a quirk after being quirkless for years.” All Might and Bakugo nodded at your explanation.
“And you don’t want this to get out. ‘Cause that would be bad. Don’t worry your secret’s safe with me. I won’t tell anyone what’s going on. Unlike Deku, I can keep my mouth shut. This will stay between us.”
Izuku looks over to Bakugo “Thanks, Kacchan.”
“I don’t deserve this. I should be down on my hands and knees begging for you to keep this secret for me. Yet here you are, being considerate and helping me out. Thank you.” All Might thanks the two of you.
“I’m not doing it for you. It would be a real pain if this got out and messed stuff up.” Bakugo stands up looking at you both of your faces showing different emotions and what you thought.
“Now that it’s come to this, I can explain what happened between me and Young Midoriya. That’s only fair.” And with that All Might told Bakugo his whole backstory parts of it you knew from when Izuku told you but more details being added into the story. “We all should be heading back, Aizawa probably waiting.” All Might said and the three of you nodded making your way back.
You walked down the main street All Might in front of the three of you Izuku to your right and Bakugo to your left. “If this got out people would be confused and they’d start wondering where the power is. You idiot. What were you thinking when you first told me about it?” Bakugo scoffs at Izuku, making him frown.
“It was my own choice to use up the last of my abilities. I said this earlier, but that was in no way your fault.” All Might said to Bakugo as you all kept walking
“Yeah sure. It doesn’t change what I have to do.” All Might looks back to the three of you.
“True. You’re right about that.”
“Things aren’t going to be the same, though, Deku. You got that?” Bakugo looks past you to your cousin, “You’ve been watching me and everyone around you, absorbing what you see to get stronger. Well, I can do the exact same thing and keep getting better myself. I’ll go higher than even you, Chosen One.” Bakugo turns his attention to you, “And you just because you don’t have borrowed power doesn’t mean I won’t beat you either, got it.” You and Izuku both nod.
“Right, then I guess I’ll just have  to be better than that.”
“You what?”
“I have to go higher than you.” Izuku brings his hands up, this makes Bakugo upset
“Dammit nerd. I just said I was gonna be the one to surpass you.” He yells at him
“I know! And now I’m saying that I’m gonna go beyond that level.”
“What!?”
“If anything you both should be worried about the person walking between you two, I’m only getting started with expanding how strong my quirk is.” You add your two cents in making the situation worse as Bakugo yells at the two of you, and Izuku tries to prove he will be number 1. The rest of the walk back to height’s alliance was spent with Bakugo and Izuku bickering, and you laughing and adding fuel to the fire. When you got back to the dorms let's say it wasn’t pleasant for the two boys.
“You fought the night you finished the preliminary hero licensing exam?” Aizawa had the two tied up in his capture weapon, and when he looked pissed before you left those two would be dead if looks could kill, “I’m glad to see that you two have so much energy.”
“Aizawa, wait, hold up with those restraints. It’s my fault that they sparred in the first place.”
“You’re fault? And how is that?” Aizawa shoots glares at the two boys. Izuku looks like he is going to pass out and Bakugo is just always angry. You were behind All Might standing against the wall. It was awkward for you to be there like this was their problem. You didn’t want to deal with the wrath of Mr. Aizawa. All Might goes over to Aizawa and whispers something into his ear and then Mr. Aizawa loosens his restraints.
“I understand that they felt they had to break the rules. But this isn’t something I can just ignore. There must be a suitable punishment. Who threw the first punch?” You look over at the two if neither of them said anything, so maybe their punishments wouldn’t be worse.
“I did.” Bakugo rolls his eyes and you facepalm. This idiot is dead.
“I also went pretty hard. It wasn’t just him.” Izuku added.
“You’re both on house arrest. Four days for Bakugo, three for Midoriya. During that time, you’ll clean all the common areas in the dorm, morning and night. Plus I want a written apology,” Aizawa yells at the two bringing back his capture weapon around his neck, “If your injuries need to be checked out, head to the infirmary. But don’t rely on the old Lady’s quirk this time. Figure out a way to heal yourselves.” He finishes his scolding and sighs, “That’s all. Go.” You all nodded thank Aizawa and left. All Might said his goodbyes, leaving the three of you to head to your dorm rooms.
“You both are idiots. Your lucky Mr. Aizawa only gave you house arrest.” You scolded the two as you got in the elevator pressing the second floor and the fourth floor button.
“Yeah whatever.” Bakugo scoffed looking away. The door opened and Izuku walked out saying goodnight the door closing again before moving to your and Bakugo’s floor.
“I’m sorry I never asked how you were feeling.” you said both of you we’re looking forward now that Izuku was gone the atmosphere was weird between the two of you.
“Tch it’s fine.” Bakugo said. The silence was defending, the only sound filling the elevator was the occasional ding. The elevator stops letting you both out, and Bakugo starts to head to his room and you follow after him. He looks back seeing you follow after him. “What are you doing dumbass.” You both are now side to side.
“I’m going to your room.” You said like it was obvious.
“Yeah why.” He walked faster so you were behind him but you picked up your pace to be next to you.
“Cause I’m gonna help you.” You smiled, both of you standing outside his door.
“I don’t need your help. Goodnight.” He huffed closing the door on your face. You frown hearing him lock the door, leaning your head on the door you heard him shuffle around in his room.
“I’m gonna help you Kacchan whether you like it or not.” You heard him chuckle continuing to move around his room.
“Good luck getting in then.” You huffed looking at the door as if it would open with your stare. You sighed leaning your head on the door, come on think. Just let me in...please. You hear the door click and it swings open and you lift your head up. There was Kacchan sitting on his bed with his shirt off mid-cleaning the scratches he received in his fight staring back at you.
You immediately turn around your bright red face and say, “I’m sorry.” You hear him huffed
“Either get in here or leave. I don’t want anyone walking by.” You nod walking in backwards closing the door still keeping your back to him. “Are you gonna stand there the entire time or help like you said.” You smack your hands against your face pulling yourself together, calm down Y/n you’ve already seen him shirtless when at the pool. Same concept. You turn around keeping your eyes away from his chest walking over and sitting next to him on his bed.
“Jeez Izuku did all this to you.” You hiss looking at the cuts on his face and the very bad bruise on both his arms when he blocked one of his kicks.
“Like he isn’t better, couldn’t even beat me.” He hissed when you wiped around one of his cuts with an alcohol wipe.
“Sorry.” You finished cleaning one of his arms wrapping it in bandages moving to his other arm.
“How did you do it.”
You hear him say and you look up at him, “Do what?” He nudges his head to the door
“The door, how did you open it?” You looked at the door, you thought he opened it.
“I thought you opened it.” Your eyes widened, you just stood outside hoping it would open and then it did.
“Probably that freaky quirk of yours, you're like a witch or something.” He looked over you. You were focused on making sure his cuts were clean and the bandages were secure that he really was able to admire you. You were wrapping the bandage around his arm, a look of focus on your face, you looked tired but you stayed awake to help him. The scars littering up your neck were faded, some of the larger ones like the one running up your neck to right below your ear were more noticeable.
Bringing his hand closer he ran his fingers along your scars you froze looking at him and he pulled away, “It’s fine I just wasn’t expecting it.” He nodded, bringing his hand back running his fingers along your neck while you went to clean the scratches on his face, apologizing each time he hissed in pain from the alcohol wipe.
“I’m sorry you didn’t pass your exam.” You mumbled and he scoffed.
“Don’t give me your pity was my own damn fault.” You nodded placing one more bandage on his face pulling away, moving away to put the medical supplies away.
“What happened during your fight with Gang Orca?” You froze your back was to him but he could tell you were nervous.
“Nothing happened. I can’t really remember most of the fight anyway.” You responded placing the first aid kit under his bed.
“Really cause your face when Sero asked about it at the exam and your lack of a response usually means something did happen.” He scoffed, pulling his shirt back on.
“It’s none of your concern what happened anyway.” You turned around to face him.
“You say that but follow after All Might to me and Deku’s fight that wasn’t your concern, but that’s fine you can do what you want.” He says. Both of you getting frustrated at each other.
“Well If you told me what was going on I wouldn’t have to worry about you. That’s how a relationship works” You said.
“I don’t need to tell you shit, it’s not like I ever asked you to be my girlfriend.” Bakugo stated and you felt your heart drop.
“Well I never wanted to be your girlfriend anyway!” You yelled.
“Fine!”
“Great!” You both yelled at each other. You knew what you were saying was a lie but it hurt even more that he was agreeing with you and that made you even more angry. “Whatever have a great night Bakugo.” You hissed, storming out your anger boiling that you didn’t have control of your quirk for a moment.
In that few seconds the door slammed open and then behind you, a few of the items in his room fell off the shelves or his desk. In that moment the last thing Bakugo saw of you before the door closed was you covered in a dark red aura, a completely new energy coming from you.

So I made another request but a read one of aizawa, Toshinori and Hizashi reacting and dealing with an s/o with adhd. I was wondering if you would like to do one where Taishiro, Kugo, and hawks reacting and dealing with an s/o with adhd? You don’t have to do it if this is a hard topic as it’s pretty hard to understand if you don’t have it or know someone who has it that you’re close with.
Hello again! I can certainly try my best. Two of my sisters have struggled with attention disorders so I know a little bit, but I don’t claim to be an expert. I’m gonna do some reading on this to make sure I get this as accurate as possible. I’m gonna apologize because these are a little short, and please let me know if something isn’t quite right, I would love to know!
How would Taishiro, Kugo and Hawks react to having a s/o with adhd?
Tumblr media
FatGum/Taishiro Toyomitsu
He would be very understanding and empathetic.
Would gladly help you find your keys for the umpteenth time, because they never quite make it to the small basket on the counter.
That happens a lot. Things wind up making it halfway to where they’re supposed to be, strewn out across the apartment. The dishes go half finished because you just couldn’t get through them. That is, until you get the urge to clean it all. He tries to make sure you never do it all by yourself though.
When you get stressed and everything seems like too much he’s your rock. He’ll bring you in close and remind you that eventually everything will be fine. You will be fine. You will recover.
Sensory overload happens a lot for you, bright lights and loud sounds are your enemies, so when it happens at home you hide away in the dark of your bedroom. Toyomitsu will give you space, but will often sneak into the room to leave a glass of water for you on the nightstand.
Have you ever seen an 8′2ft tall man sneak?
He notices that you’re always moving. It doesn’t matter even if you’re in bed, your legs are moving back and forth.
You play with your hands a lot, and when you hold hands you rub your thumb across the back of his hand. He loves it when you do that, but knows its probably because you’re anxious or are having a hard time focusing, so he’ll give your hand a light squeeze and check in with you to make sure you’re okay.
Overall he just does his best to make sure you take care of yourself.
Tumblr media
Gang Orca/Kugo Sakamata
He’s a hard one to place. I think he would be one hold you accountable. Not in a harsh way, but in a sense that he wants you to feel better, and he knows that you sometimes are hard on yourself for struggling.
So, when you have a deadline coming up and you haven’t even begun on your work, you can bet he will be right there reminding you. He won’t do the work for you, but he will sit with you when you need him.
He will definitely encourage you to make a schedule, keep a routine. When you tell him they don’t exactly work for you he offers to keep one with you, to do what he can with you.
When you struggle doing tasks at home he won’t mind giving you a hand, helping you to finish whatever it was that you were doing.(not that you don’t share housework)
If you have medication he’s on you like clockwork to take it every morning. Knows that sometimes it can make you feel unwell, so will make sure to give you a glass of water and a hug, running his hands over your hair.
Will always listen to you when you speak about your hyper-fixations. Is amazed by the amount of knowledge you hold about certain subjects, but he worries about you when you lose yourself for days.
Puzzles are a big one for you, you will spend days doing puzzles, and he always makes sure that you eat and take breaks, even though its hard for you.
He wants you to feel supported. Encouraged. He tries his best.
Tumblr media
Hawks/ Keigo Takami
I’ve seen a few people suggest that he has adhd as well, which could be true. To him I don’t think it’s going to really be a big deal, so long as you stay healthy, you know what I mean?
The thing that gets him is when your mood rapidly changes. You’ll get done laughing, and then a moment later, for reasons he doesn’t yet know you’ll be sad, or guilty or a variety of other emotions.
He hates it when you feel guilty about things like procrastination, when the apartment is a mess, or when you’ve just calmed down from being upset. He’ll wrap you in his arms, his wings curling in around you, and remind you “You’re human just like the rest of us babe. It’ll be okay.”
He probably has trouble focusing at home too, so watching movies with the two of you is really just the both of you talking or scrolling on your phones. He doesn’t mind, he finds you much more interesting anyway.
You two literally never finish anything. Books, movies, tv shows. You finish food. But that’s about it.
He’s a touchy person, he loves to have his hands on you, so when you get overloaded and can’t stand to be touched he gets a little sad. Especially at the beginning of the relationship and it had never come up before, he took it a little personal, and thought you didn’t like him touching you.
Once you explained it though he understood. Now when it hits you he just gives you the space you need. He could wait, your health came first.
Will support you through anything, and though he may not always be the best for stopping your impulsive decisions (like dying your hair blue at 3 am), he really does want you to be the happiest and healthiest version of yourself.

Virgil loved Halloween. Some monsters viewed it offensive or rude, but as a werewolf he just thought it was cool he was able to walk around with his tail hanging out and his ears flipping every which way without humans questioning it. They just thought he was really good at costuming.
Which… technically he was, but helping vampires who come out of one hundred year naps blend into human society to avoid monsters being hunted again wasn’t exactly the type of costuming people really expected.
Thankfully his current client had literally just woken up, and his Victorian era clothes weren’t questioned tonight either and Remus was free to look around and get himself more acquainted with the new world he’d woken up in.
“And you’re sure biting people for a meal is still forbidden by high council laws?” Remus asked, already getting the hang of talking like someone from the modern world.
It probably helped that Virgil refused to indulge his old timey speak and was doing his best to ignore every time Remus flirted with him.
“Dude. You’ve asked this like five hundred times now, yes it’s still forbidden. And yes you’re still allowed to ask another monster to be a donor, and no I still haven’t decided if I’m gonna accept your offer or not, I’ve got a job and a life there’s a lot to consider.”
Remus looked back at Virgil just as he smiled awkwardly at a kid who got really excited about his moving ears.
“You’re wagging your tail,” he commented, and Virgil flushed a bright red as he pushed his tail firmly against the back of his legs to keep it from moving.
“Shut up, you decided it was a good idea to take a one hundred year nap at the turn of the century and missed an entire era to get here.”
Remus grinned at him, and Virgil ignored his heart flipping because try as he may, he could not deny the fact that Remus is really attractive.
Couldn’t a vampire die ugly for once? It’d make his job so much easier if every smile he got from a vampire client didn’t make his stomach drop and his face burn.
“To be fair, I didn’t willingly take that nap. I fell asleep and I suppose my body decided it was time for a new era. Good decision too, given it lead to me the prettiest werewolf I’ve ever seen.”
Oh god, the flirting is back.
“I can’t imagine you’ve met very many werewolves then,” Virgil mumbled, pulling up his hood and flattening his ears so it didn’t sit weird on his head.
It’s not that he didn’t believe he was good looking. As far as werewolves go, a lot he’s met didn’t bother trying to learn the proper hygiene for both their human body and their fur, but it was his only reaction when a ridiculously hot vampire was flirting with him.
“Are you doubting the integrity of my words? Alright, how about we go into a den of werewolves and I drain the first one I see prettier than you.”
Virgil stopped walking for a second to stare at Remus, trying to figure out if he was serious or not, before sighing.
“No. Seriously? The closest den houses my pack why the hell would I let you do that?”
Remus shrugged, looking ahead and looping his arm into the crook of Virgil’s elbow as he suddenly started walking, almost too fast for Virgil to keep up without tripping.
“Woah, where the hell are we going?” he asked, regaining his footing only for Remus to wink at him and pick up his pace again.
They went into the woods, though Virgil thought they could hardly be called that, and Remus didn’t stop for what felt like twenty minutes all the while not answering a single question Virgil threw at him.
“You don’t trust easily, do you Virgil?” Remus asked, finally slowing enough that Virgil could walk without stumbling.
“Well no? Monsters aren’t exactly trustworthy and humans are even worse.”
Remus just hummed before stopping with a small frown a few feet away from a fence.
“That’s… Well I suppose it has been one hundred years. I’ll have to find another spot then.”
Virgil pulled his arm from Remus’ grip and brushed himself off.
“If you want a lot of forested area, there’s a few spots I think in Europe you can manage that. But if you don’t wanna leave the continent you’d probably wanna go to more rural areas and make yourself a local legend or something.”
“Hm. And how would you feel housing a vampire in your den?” Remus asked, making Virgil look up at him.
The grin there was so full of trouble and yet Virgil’s heart flipped just like it’d been doing all night.
“Absolutely not. I don’t live in the den. I have an apartment and keep in touch with the pack regularly.”
Remus’ grin grew wider, and Virgil couldn’t tell if he regretted sharing that information or not.
“Well then, how about I live with you until you get my modern wardrobe figured out and I can find a place to stay.”
Virgil let out a long groan, because if he caved he was definitely going to fall in love with this stupidly attractive vampire.
“Fine! Fine, if it’ll get you to shut up about me being your donor or whatever. Yeah you can stay with me for a few weeks.”
The grin on Remus’ face showed his fangs this time, and Virgil instinctively ran his tongue over his own canines before he let out a long sigh.
“I’m absolutely going to regret this. You’re lucky you’re cute,” he muttered, smiling the smallest smile when Remus snorted loudly in response.
He hoped this wouldn’t awaken anything in him, but Virgil didn’t really have his hopes high. Especially with how many times Remus almost made Virgil’s heart leap right out of his chest or get lodged into his throat.

How Could You Love Me🥺🐬
Gang Orca x Reader
I’ve never seen any fanfiction for this character and I think he deserves it🥺hope you enjoy it.
—————————————————————
It was no secret that Gang Orca was a scary looking figure. Hell, his fanged teeth often hung over the sides of his mouth and his hands had pointed fingers, making his look more like a monster than anything else. He had dealt his whole life with coming to terms that the public would always see him as a monster.
However, no one knows what type of person he really is. No one knew that his real name was Kugo Sakamata or that he can’t stand to eat certain seafood or that his heart fills with sadness whenever people tremor with terror when they see him. No, the public knew him as this savage beast.
Luckily for him, whenever he enters his favorite bakery, all his anger and sadness leaves. All because he sees you, a lovely woman with bright eyes and a full smile. You sit behind the counter and greet him the same way as you have dozens of times before.
“Haiii, Sakamata. I saw you save a bunch of kids from that fire yesterday. Are you okay? I know heat really bothers you. I made some special tea cakes for you today anddddd they have little orca decorations. Get it? Cause you’re an orca? It might not be the most original thing ever but I just thought it was cute,” you hush to him as he enters. At the beginning of your daily encounters, he couldn’t believe how friendly you would be. He hadn’t been expecting friendship when he entered the shop for a quick snack run.
“I think it’s nice how passionate you are. And, I’ve told you to call me Kugo. We’re friends,” he grinned as he looked at the tiny cakes on the counter. “And, I think those cakes are perfect. They’re all for me?”
“Yep yep. I wanted you to have something special this morning,” you started putting the cakes into their container. “You didn’t answer my other question though. Are you okay?”
“I’m fine.”
“You know, I can tell when you don’t tell the full truth. The left side of your mouth twitches up,” you wipe your hands on your apron as you hold out the box for him to grab.
“Well, I’m doing as well as I can be.”
“Did it happen again?” You were referring to the reactions the hero would get whenever he saved someone. Even if he’s a pro hero risking his life, people still chose to scorn him and his looks.
“I can’t really blame people for how they act. I’d be scared too,” he held out the bills for the cakes. You pushed the bills back towards his body, refusing to make the man pay after all he does for you. He even does extra patrols around your shop to scare off and villains. “Let me pay you.”
“No, I pay you with delicious sweets. And, if it’s any consolation, I think people are fools for what they’re doing to you. I’d never be scared of you,” you smile. Unknown to him, your feelings had been growing for the man. You loved his dedication to his work and his steady positive attitude. If it were up to you, you would have him return your feelings. However, you’re a chicken.
“I’ll be back later. I’ve got more work to do,” and he was gone just as quick as he came. While he had come into the shop with a small frown, he left with a large smile which seemed to scared civilians enough to part for him as he passed on the street.
He munched on his cakes, wondering if you tasted the same way. His mind often wandered to what it would be like to be with you without having to pay you visits at your shop. How would it feel to kiss you and worship you? Would you shy away from his? Were you as vocal as you normally are as you’re being held down and pleasured beyond your comprehension?
‘I need to stop this thinking. It only hurts more knowing I can’t have her,’ and it hurts even more for you to watch him leave your shop every day, taking a bit of your heart with him
Gang Orca walked through the town for the day, patrolling for any crime and appreciating the fact that it was a slow crime day. He only had to stop a few purse snatchers which wasn’t hard given they ran away as soon as he appeared.
He walked back to your shop, an extra pep to his step as he thought about seeing you. You’d most likely be closing up with a few strangling costumers, flour dusting your delicate cheeks, your shirt sleeves rolled up to your elbows as you cleaned up the rest of the sweets that weren’t sold.
“Oooops sorry, Kugo,” he walked in only to be ran into by your smaller body. You had been carrying around (well, more like dragging) a table. “Would you mind help?”
“I’d be honored to help. And, you should pay more attention. What if I was a robber?” He picked up the table from your grasp. You continued to smile up at him, rocking from side to side as you jumped from excitement. He briefly wonders why you’re so happy.
“Then, I’d be getting robbed for money that they’d have to pull from my cold, dead hands,” he sputtered. How the fuck can you say things so casually?
“No one is getting robbed. You’re missing the point, Y/N. You need to be more cautious,” he chided you with a gentle chop on the head. You pouted but nodded your head in agreement anyway.
“Yes, dadddddy,” it was meant to be a joke but, your words made him growl lowly. You cocked your head at the sound, wetness slowly pooling.
“Uh, sorry,” he looks away from you and you swear you see a ghost of red across his smooth skin.
“Yeh it’s-it’s cool,” you waddle away to go get three bottles of water. It’s become routine for you and him to share drinks so he can replenish his strength. A few of your costumers are still at their tables, some frozen with apprehension of the hero.
“Mommy, is he a villain?” Kugo can hear a hound boy ask his mother. They sit right behind him, right behind is large frame that shrinks to make the boy feel more at ease. “Mommy, I’m scared.”
“He is kinda scary but, it’s okay. He’s a hero. Let’s just leave in case he isn’t friendly though,” you come from the back just in time for the woman to be caught trying to rush out.
“Umm, you have to pay,” you push the water bottles into his chest and turn to the mother with hands on your hips. “You didn’t just sit here and eat all those fucking bonbons just to steal them. And, in front of a hero nonetheless.”
“We we’re going to pay. Just...tomorrow,” the woman shuffles from side to side, throwing anxious glances at Sakamata.
“Why when you could pay now? I should make you cough everything up so you can eat it tomorrow then,” it’s moments like these Kugo is reminded you’re not always as sweet as your aura suggests. He’s learned that you’re not a pushover when someone pisses you off.
“My son is afraid?”
“Of what?!?! There’s a literal fucking hero here. I know you saw him; he’s impossible to miss.”
“No, you misunderstand. He’s afraid of the hero,” there’s a pregnant pause before she speaks again. “See, I knew you’d underst-“
“Get the fuck out of my shop and never come back,” you say it with such venom it surprises him. You look at her with fury as you close into her space. “You think you get to encourage your son judging him without consequences? People like you make me sick. You should be teaching him to appreciate people, no matter what they look like,” you angrily shove her shoulder backwards, making Kugo step in to pull you into his chest.
“Calm yourself, little one. Don’t get yourself worked up over me,” he whispered into your ear. You sank into his body, allowing him to calm you.
“Did he just threaten you? Do you need me to call someone?” She just had to say something. Self-restraint has never really been your thing anyway.
“He just saved your ignorant ass. I already told you to get out of here. If you aren’t gone in the next moment, I’m going to slam your face into the wall behind you and make your your child watch as I pull your hair from your scalp. Then, he’ll see that anyone can be a fucked person, no matter how sweet they may look,” you had a dark look in your eye. You sound more like a villain than he looks (and that’s saying something). The woman scurries out, followed by some of your costumers that had heard the incident. Something tells you they won’t be back any time soon.
“I never knew you could be that scary, little one,” with your costumers gone, the large bakery felt hot and heavy. Sakamata seemed to dominate the air with few words, making your inner submissive mewl in his presence.
“She pissed me off. It’s because of people like here that kids grow up to fear you; discrimination is taught,” you sighed as he pulled you even closer, his hips pressed into your back.
“You can’t put the blame solely on her.”
“So, that just gives people the right to mistreat you?”
“You know that’s not what I meant.”
“Then, what did you mean?” You pushed away from him so you could turn around to face him. Why can’t he just accept that this isn’t his fault?
“I hate when you look like that,” he was closer than ever before. Your breaths came out in puffs that mingled with his.
“Like what?” You looked like a picture out of a magazine with your lips slightly parted, your pink tongue farting across your lips, silently challenging him to lean in to taste your essence.
“Like you’re anything other than happy,” he settles for resting his forehead on your own. You could only wonder what the two of you looked like right then; the large man hunched over to meet your small frame.
“How can I be happy when you talk down on yourself? Why can’t you see what I see?” tears flowed as your fists beat on his chest to ecentuate your words. If only you had stopped to feel how hard his heart was beating for you. “Why can’t you just love yourself like I love you?”
Your confession stuck in his brain, hanging around to his every thought. Knowing you felt the same have him a faint hope however, he crushed it just as quickly as it came. Women like you don’t fall in love with men like him.
What type of life would you have if the two of you started to date? He couldn’t take you on normal dates, he wouldn’t be able to show you off as normal people do, you’d miss so many things as you bound yourself to him. How could he possibly do that to you.
“How could you love me,” he pulls himself away. He knows his next words will hurt you but, he’s convinced himself that this is what needs to be done. “When I don’t love you?” And he left you there in your shop, broken to the realization that men like him don’t belong with women like you. Words haven’t been created to describe the pain you feat and the sense of defeat that crossed into you.
It was your fault for falling in too deep. You fell for a man that you had only know from stopping to your shop; a man that you can admit you barely knew. Maybe, you persuaded yourself that your infatuation was something beyond the mere encounters, that your infatuation was blossoming love. Yes, it was your fault.
He stopped coming to your shop and, eventually, you closed your bakery. You couldn’t stand being in the place that you met your first and last love; everywhere you looked, you saw him. You saw him moving tables and chairs, you saw him pouring cream hearts into lattes, you saw him rubbing his worker fingers on your face. If only it was real.
You opened another shop but, instead of working there like the last time, you hired workers. You didn’t have the will to put yourself in that situation again, knowing that he, not only shattered your heart but, stole your smile as well. All you wanted to do was lay in bed and watch t.v., not really paying attention.
“GANG ORCA, found wounded from latest fight with villain. He was rushed to the nearest hospital within-“ that got your attention. You were up and getting dressed. You started to narrow down the possible locations he could have been taken to fill you landed on the one (this being one of the only times your analytical quirk came in hand). You rushed to the hospital in your car, pretty sure you broke all the traffic laws.
Running in to the hospital, you were fearful of how you’d see the man you were still in love with. You knew he’d be bandaged but, you hoped that it wasn’t too severe (although, you knew you’d love him despite what he looked like). An inkling of hesitation was in your mind, not knowing how he would greet you if he was conscious. You can only hope for a good reunion.
“I need to know where Sakamata Kugo is,” you must look delusional with your hair barely combed and your half dressed appearance. You’re pretty sure you didn’t even put on pants. You look down to confirm you indeed only have on a very large sweatshirt (no doubt from the hero you come to visit).
“We can’t just let anyone up to his room,” you knew that what you were asking was selfish but, you had to see him. “Family can wait in the waiting room.”
You were led to a dreary room with tan walls and white stripes. You see his mother (it’s not hard to spot the only other Orca in the room).
“This young lady is here for your son as well,” you blush abashedly. His mother looks similar to him, a few differences in shades between them. Her teeth are still sharp but dull compared to his. While his eyes are bright red, hers are blue pools of pigment.
You sit there with her, rubbing her arm in the only normal way you can think. You wish you could hug her but, that seems too personal. She leans into your side but keeps enough of her weight off of you not to crush you.
“I assume you’re L/N Y/N?” you look like road kill in head lights as you look up at her. “He talks about you a lot. Well, not as much recently. He likes you. I can also assume that you feel the same way?”
“It’s complicated,” you look away from her to stifle a few tears that threaten to pool. Even after months of trying to move on, it still hurts. “I thought he felt the same way but, it was probably just me imaging things.”
“Hmm,” she sighs and places her hand on top of yours. “He’s not the best with emotions but, I can tell that he truly loves you. He’d never speak of you to me if he didn’t. Please don’t give up on my son.”
‘He gave up on me,’ you wanted to spout the bitter words but, you didn’t have it in your heart so, you resolved to nodding your head. You probably wouldn’t even see her again after you saw that he was fine.
“Sakamata Kugo,” a doctor comes from the back. The two of you raise to see him, both of you clenching each other tightly. “He’s fine. The blood made the wounds seem worse than what they were. He’s expected to make a full recovery within the next three months. I suggest that you see him one at a time though.”
“Thank you, sir,” he bids you farewell and you turn to grab your things so that you can leave. You found out what you came for. “Where do you think you’re going?”
‘Well, now I can see where he got his intimidation factor,’ you shiver as her eyes narrow.
“I just wanted to know if he would be alright. Now that I know, I can leave,” you’re pushed down into the seat behind you. She looms over you, she dares you wordlessly to defy her.
“You’re going to see him. I’m going to go in and tell him you’re here and then you both will squash whatever disagreement the two of you are having. And, then, you’ll come back tomorrow so I can get to know you more,” she walks off without waiting for your response. “If you leave, just know, I know your name and your face. I can find you if I really look hard enough.”
‘What the fuck just happened?’ You just sat there waiting, the time ticking by slowly. You really wanted to run but, you couldn’t risk her tracking you down. You can just imagine her dragging you from your home and into the hospital.
“He’s ready to see you now,” his mother pulls you from your seat and pushes you towards his door. You stand in front of it, hand on the knob as you still debate whether or not you should try to make a run for it. You doubt you’d get far but, it could still work.
“I know you’re there, Y/N. Come in,” you gulp at his voice. It still has its deep baritone that makes your panties flood. You peep your head in to see Kugo propped up in bed, his leg and right shoulder bandaged up. His red eyes glowed possessively, beckoning you to come closer. “My mother said you were here.”
“Uh yeah, I just wanted to check on you. I saw what happened on the news. We can just sit here for a few seconds so your mom thinks we talked,” you waddles from side to side.
“What makes you think I don’t want to talk?” His way eyes narrow just like his mothers did. Gulping, you try to look away but, he speaks again to get your attention. “Sit down so we can talk.”
“I just thought you wouldn’t want to after, you know,” you place your care keys and phone beside you as you take a seat next to his side. You lean against the bed to give yourself some comfort.
“I needed time to think. I came back to the bakery though,” why does it feel like you’re suddenly in trouble? “Funny thing though, the bakery wasn’t there. Any idea why?”
“We moved locations.”
“And, you never thought to tell me that?”
“It’s not your business.”
“You are my business,” he pulls you into the bed with him, laying you flat against his chest so that you can sit in his lap. “I never said I didn’t want to see you again. I just had to think.”
“It doesn’t really matter now. You made it very clear you don’t want me,” you sniffle.
“I never said that. I said some things that I didn’t mean. I was just scared of being with you. I mean, look at me, what kind of life could you possibly have with me? What would people think of you?”
“WHY CANT YOU UNDERSTAND I DON’T GIVE A FUCK WHAT PEOPLE THINK OF ME?” You want to punch him for the unnecessary torment he caused you. “You always think you have to spare me from something that’s not even fucking there. Why can’t you just admit you love me? Is it so hard not to give a fuck about other people’s opinions?”
“I love you.”
“Too fucking late.”
“It’s not too late if you came to visit me,” he sounds smug.
“You’re going to make this up to me.”
“I expect nothing less from you. I could start now,” his hands start to travel down your body.
“Uh uh. You gots boo boos. There’s plenty of time for that,” you giggle and flick his hands away.
“We’ll see about that.”

Do you remember that time I told you I cried while writing a thing for the unedited v!Wind fic, @w1lmutt. Do you.
Consider this a warning: It’s karma time 8)
<<First Part 6 Next>>
"Oh." Link stops dead, halting their limping journey into the village. He looks around like he's not sure if he's dreaming. "Oh."
“Link? Is that you?” Mesa calls from his vegetable patch. Link sways as he stares at the man, looking like he's seeing a ghost instead of a perfectly hale and healthy Hylian. "Goddesses, you don't look so good. Are- are you holding up alright?"
"He'll be fine," Tetra replies, when it becomes clear Link can’t respond.
"And Tetra too." The man shakes himself. "Aryll was looking for you, Link. You'd... you'd better get on home," he says, horribly sympathetic. Link feels his heartbeat hitch.
"No," he breathes. Tetra nearly drops him as he jerks forward. "No, no no no, I was supposed to have more time- I’m not ready-!”
~o0o~
"Liiiiiiink!" A voice echoes faintly down into the cave. The heroes look up as one, reacting to their shared name. "Where are youuuuuu?"
A beat. "No one recognizes her, right?"
A round of negatives. Then, from further away, "Big brootheeer! Liiiiiink!"
"...You don't think-?"
"The villagers?"
They exchange looks. Time makes his way out of the fountain first. He surveys the now empty forest, frowning. "We should make haste."
~o0o~
There’s a crowd gathered on his doorstep by the time Link manages to stagger his way home. Their grim voices sweep over him like the tide, rushing in and out. He can’t grasp a single word they’re saying.
Sturgeon, the closest thing Outset has to a doctor, is kneeling next to her. He looks up when Link barges in. "Come now, old friend," he murmurs to Link's grandma, patting her hand. "Look who's come to see you. Won't you open your eyes for your dear grandson?"
“Mister Sturgeon? Is she- she’s gonna be okay, right?” Link pants. “What happened?”
“She collapsed outside. Gave poor Aryll quite the fright. We brought her in but... I’m afraid there’s not much to be done, lad.” The old man looks almost calm, almost resigned—already grieving, which isn’t fucking good enough.
Link seizes him by the collar. “What do you mean not much to be-!” He starts to snarl. Stops. Grandma’s eyelids are fluttering open.
“Link...?” She breathes, terrifyingly soft. “Is that you, dearie?”
He drops the useless old man immediately, falling to his knees next to the cushion she’s laid out on. “Grandma, hold on, just hold on, I’ll- I’ll get a potion, no, a fairy, just-!“
“Goodness. It feels... like it’s been such a long time since I last saw you. You’ve grown.”
Link freezes. He clutches at her hand gently, desperately. “No I haven’t,” he croaks. “I was here when you fell asleep. I haven’t- I haven’t aged a single day since then, I made sure-”
“You’ll stay a while this time... won’t you?” She wheezes, hazy and unfocused. “I’d like... to be able... to see you off again...” She sighs, eyes drooping. Her hand falls limp.
“Grandma?” He whimpers. “Grandma, I’m not going anywhere. Wake up, please wake up, just a little longer, I’m- I’m almost ready-” A feverish light enters his eyes. “I finally found it,” he promises her. “A way to show you Hyrule. Fields bigger than entire islands, and forests full of creatures we’ve never seen before, and huge deserts of sun and sand dunes. The winds there are so sweet, not a lick of ocean salt to be found, and it’s so beautiful-“ His voice breaks. “You can’t leave without even seeing it, Grandma. You can’t.”
Grandma doesn't respond.
Instead, Link jerks as a most unwelcome voice offers, “...Try this."
The heroes that did this stand gathered by the doorway, in the space the villagers had vacated to give him some privacy. They look as though they’ve been there a while. The Hero of Time holds out a bottled fairy like a peace offering.
“You,” Link hisses. Stops. Tetra’s laid a supportive hand on his shoulder. “Why would you...?”
“Thank you,” she tells Time in his stead, accepting the fairy and shoving it into Link’s hands. Link stares down at it, shakes himself, and promptly upends the container onto Grandma’s chest.
The little sprite spirals and spirals, scattering pixie dust. Nothing changes.
Frantic now, Link feels for her pulse. It takes him far too long to find it—faint and stuttering. “Why isn’t it working?!”
Hyrule pushes forward. “Let me try,” he offers, hands up like Link is a wild animal he’s trying not to spook. “I don’t have much experience with old people, but I know some healing magic. Maybe I can help.”
Link stares at him, the words taking longer than they should to comprehend. He gnaws at his lip, once, before giving his permission with a tight nod.
“Careful, ‘Rulie,” someone cautions. Link doesn’t bother looking up to see who, eyes fixed on the glowing hands the older boy lays on his grandma’s chest. “You’ve used too much magic today. Potions only do so much.”
"It's fine." Hyrule casts once, words falling musically from his lips. When the light dies, his patient looks no different. Frowning, he tries again, slower, hands running up and down Grandma’s form, picking up her hands and cupping them in his own.
At last, panting, Hyrule shakes his head, and Link could run him through where he stands.
“Why not?! You said you could help!”
“He said he’d try, kid. Back off.” Not unkindly, Legend forces him to step away from Hyrule.
The healer, for his part, merely shakes his head again. “I don’t understand it. There’s barely any life left in her. I’m sorry, but I don’t—I’m not even sure how she’s breathing right now.” He steps away, gently placing her hands back on the blanket. “It’s... almost as though she's been hollowed out. She’s been beyond saving for a long time now.”
“No- no that can’t be right, she was having a good day when, when I- she was outside, she was walking, she was, she wasn’t-!”
The travelers exchange glances. Legend is the only one callous enough to say what they all suspect. “Then that curse probably drained whatever she had left, kid.”
Link whirls on him with a snarl. “You’re lying!“ He yells, fingers itching for a sword that isn’t there. “She wasn’t-!”
“They’re not,” Tetra cuts in. She has her arms folded across her chest, tight. Link still catches the shiver she tries to hide. “If what that... thing did to her was anything like what it did to me... ‘drain’ is a good way to put it.”
Link shakes his head again. “You’re lying,” he chokes. Slower, broken, he whispers, “it wasn’t supposed to hurt her.”
“I’m sorry,” Hyrule repeats again, uselessly. “But I don’t think she’ll last the night. She doesn’t have enough energy left.”
Link is about to do something—beg, lash out, scream, please can’t you use mine, when-
“Who are you guys?” A high voice demands from beyond the crowd of heroes. “Why are you in my house?”
“Aryll,” Link breathes.
His sister doesn’t hear, squirming her way in while shouting, “Link? Big Brother, are you home? Grandma, Grandma she-”
She breaks past the travelers. Stops dead when she takes in the scene. “Big brother? Why are you crying?” She utters. “Grandma’s- Grandma’s gonna be okay, isn’t she?”
Link opens his mouth. Closes it. Trembles.
Twilight, standing closest to Aryll, puts a hand on the girl’s shoulder and gently urges her closer to Link, to Grandma. Like that might do anything. Like that might help.
His hands clench into fists. “Get out,” he rasps. Aryll clutches at his sleeve. They’re both trembling now.
“Are you sure?” Hyrule hesitates, and Link hates the way he looks at them. The way they’re all looking at him and his family. “Maybe we should-”
“Get out get out get OUT!” He demands, voice rising to a shriek. With a sharp swing of his Deku leaf and a massive blast of air, most of the intruders are sent tumbling backwards, out to the porch. The ones that manage to keep their feet are swiftly escorted out by a grim-faced Tetra.
The pirate captain surveys them with cool eyes as they gather themselves, as they exchange uncertain glances. “You don’t need to be here,” she says, giving voice to what they’re all thinking. “Scram. Outset doesn’t have lodgings for travelers; go figure out where you’ll stay if you’re staying, or where you’ll go if you’re going. Except you,” and here she jabs her finger at Warriors demandingly. “You better stick around, because you are going to tell me the whole story later. Now get lost, all of you.”
Her piece said, she whirls on her heel and marches right back into the house they’d all been ejected from. The door thunks firmly shut behind her—a clear warning not to follow.
~o0o~
At the first hint of sunrise, Link knocks on Master Orca’s door.
“I know you guys are in there. I’m not here to fight.”
They crack open the door. Link’s a mess. He regards them all with glassy eyes, and when he doesn’t find what he’s looking for, croaks, “where’s my sword?”
“Why should we give it to you?” They are, reasonably, rather wary at the request.
“I need it to get rid of the blockade. The monsters can’t stay, they’ll scare people.”
They consider this, consider the boy standing numbly before them. Finally, Wild fetches the blade from the depths of his Slate.
Link takes it. Nods at them. Turns around and trudges down to the ocean, single-mindedly making his way to the nearest platform on the water. The visiting heroes follow him as far as the shoreline, where he slips on the Helmaroc Mask and takes to the sky.
In the dim light of the false dawn, they stand vigil and watch as Link wordlessly, mindlessly slaughters his way from one end of the horizon to the other.

Hi can I please get Aizawa, Hizashi, Gang Orca and Vlad King when their poor civilian s/o gets injured in a villain attack? Like not super serious but definitely to the point they're in a lot of pain
yeesss! under the cut enjoy ! >:3 i just picked random jobs to give the reader where it fit btw
Shouta Aizawa: “I swear to god you just attract trouble.” Aizawa drops you unceremoniously onto the couch, “don’t you?”  “Clearly, I found you didn't I?” You look up at him and he huffs.  “You need ice.” He stuffs a few pillows under your incredibly swollen and bruised ankle, “what the hell were you doing around here anyway, I thought you were supposed to be at work?”  “I got off early, I was gonna break into your place and surprise you.”  “You can’t break in someplace you have a key for.” He crosses his arms, “well, either way, you’re lucky I was around. If you’d hung out there too much longer who knows what else would have fallen on you, or worse. You need to be more careful.”  “You need to be more careful.” You mimic him in a childish tone and he scoffs. “I may have saved your life and this is how you repay me? What would you have done if I didn’t show up? Make a home in that subway station with your leg stuck under a pile of rocks and a trashed phone? If that villain didn’t get to you the boredom would have.” “I had it handled, thank you.”  You gasp, offended.  “What were you gonna do, finance the villain’s car?” He starts to laugh. “I would have figured it out!” You insist. “You’re an accountant.” He snorts and you frown.  “I’m-” You snap your mouth shut and scowl at him, he laughs some more.  “Is that you trying to look angry with me? Gee, I’m petrified.” He wraps up a bag of ice cubes with a thin cloth and rests in on your ankle. You reach forward to hit him and he jumps back, “Woah, woah, hey, hey no.”  He catches your hand, “you know you’re lucky you have me-okay hey-” Your leering forward with your other hand but he catches that too, “you’re just going to hurt yourself, not me so no hitting- hey! I said no hitting. I’ll stop, alright?” He kisses your knuckles and then sets your hands in your lap, “but you need to rest, it’s only a few bumps and bruises plus  a bum ankle but I’m sure you’re exhausted and in pain.”  You sink into the cushions of his couch, “stop being mean to me, this is kind of your fault you know?”  “Being mean to you? I saved you!” He sighs, “Look. I’m sorry I laughed at you. You’re a very good accountant, I love you and I love that you’re an accountant. I’m sure you would have found your way back here somehow. I shouldn’t underestimate you.” He kisses between your furrowed brows, “so stop looking at me like that and tell me what hurts so I can help.”  “Just my legs.” You promise, “I hit my head but it wasn’t so bad, I don’t think it’s serious.” You reach out for his hands and he lets you take them. “You’re all scraped up.” He sighs, “do you have any idea how worried I was when I saw you stuck in there? It’s like I got tunnel vision.”  “I’m sorry.” You murmur playing with his fingers, running the pad of your thumb over his calloused palm, “if it’s any consolation that’s how I feel about you all the time..”  He snaps his mouth shut. Well, he’d never considered it like that.  “I know..” He sighs and closes his eyes, “and I love you..so...don’t be sorry, just...try not to let it happen again? For my sake and yours. It’s my job to get into trouble so just leave it to the professionals?”  You nod at that and drop your head forward onto his shoulder.  “Okay good. Now let’s get you cleaned up. Come on, you can barely keep your eyes open, go to sleep if you can, I’ll stay here with you while you do.”
Hizashi Yamada: “I told you Zash, it’s really all right.” You let him open the door for you anyway, “the doctors just wanted to be sure I didn’t have any broken bones or anything like that.”  “I should have at least been able to come to get you at the hospital!” He warbles and you smile a little at him.  “You were just doing your job. I understand. Like I said before it wasn’t serious at all, I just dislocated my shoulder, and I’ve got a minor concussion.” You press your fingers to his lips, “so let’s keep it down okay?”  He nods at you, looking just a little awestruck. you smile at him a little wider and take his face in your hand, “you’re sweet, Zashi, thank you for being worried about me.”  “Of course I’m worried.” He shakes his head, “I’m sorry you got hurt in the first place...I can get you some ice for your shoulder and some pain meds, you should try to rest as much as you can.” He holds your waist, “want me to carry you?”  You snort out a laugh at that, “no I think I can manage it babe.”  “Maybe I should come to help you change shirts, they may have reset your shoulder at the hospital but you should still be careful.”  You’re going to say no, that you can handle that too, but he just looks so worried.  “Yeah..I’d really appreciate that Zash. Do you mind?”  He’s about to yell, you can see it in his face, the way he opens his mouth, but it locks shut and he starts shaking his head vigorously instead. “Let me get an icepack and some painkillers and I’ll meet you in there?” You’re pretty proud of his self-restraint. He follows close behind you into your bedroom and starts helping you change into a big, old tee shirt of his, per your request.  “You know..” He starts after pulling the tee-shirt over your head, “what were you doing all the way over here anyway, isn’t your office 3 stops away from here?” “Hm?” You look up at him and ponder for a moment before remembering, “oh, I was going to meet an old coworker from my last gig for lunch, looks like we both got a little wrapped up.” You laugh a little, “he should be alright too. He called me while I was at the hospital, looks like he made it out with just a few scrapes.”  “Wish you were that lucky..” He murmurs smoothing his palm over your head. “Honestly I needed an excuse to ask for a few days off anyhow.” You sit on the edge of your bed and he hums as you continue, “but now that I think about it maybe this is a sign I should just hang out where I am a little longer.” You wave with a laugh. “Were you meeting about a new job?” He perks up at the new bit of information and you shrug. “They have an opening, a charge nurse. He was gonna show me around the floor today after lunch.” You murmur noncomittally, “though now it seems a bit cursed doesn’t it?” You watch him unmake your bed, fluffing up various pillows and pulling the sheets back.  “No way babe, you deserve a better job if you want one. I always say how I think you should be in charge anyhow.” He pats the open space and you laugh but shuffle over to him.  “Yeah..and plus I’d be closer to you.” You look up at him for a reaction as he starts to wrap up the icepack in a cloth. He sputters.  “Well..that’d be nice.”  “Though if you ever get bored of being a hero, you’ve got the makings of a pretty good nurse, then we’d be plenty close, wouldn’t we?”
Gang Orca/Kugo Sakamata: “Are you mad at me?” You ask, partially slung over the taller man’s shoulder.  “I am not mad at you.” He responds flatly.  “You sound a little mad at me.” You murmur, drumming your fingers on the back of his neck, “Come on Kugo, don’t be mad at me.”  “I said I’m not.” He reaches into his pocket for his keys.  “Then stop acting mad at me.” You retort as he unlocks his front door.  “I’m sorry.” Is all he offers to that. You can’t help but grin a little. “My ribs hurt-” You whine and he sighs.  “Yes, well mine would hurt too, if some hopped up villain body-slammed me into a bus. Maybe you should have considered that before jumping in front of a dog-”  “Well, what was I meant to do?!” You warble, knocking your fists off his back, “don’t be such a brute Kugo.”  “I’m not being a brute.” He sits you down on his sort of comically large couch, “I just wish you would have a little more self-preservation.” He kneels in front of you, “is that unfair of me?”  “...no..” You shake your head compliantly.  “Well then there.” He places his hands high up on your thighs, “I can’t help being worried about you when you get hurt, you’re not meant to. I know you like to think you aren’t, but you are just a civilian. And yes, maybe you’re my civilian, but you’re still a civilian. It’s my job to protect you.” He sighs as you take his hands, he continues, “I was cold, I’m sorry.” He apologizes, “you’re right. I shouldn’t have acted upset with you. I was just so worried about you. Do you have any idea how much worse that could have gone? What would have happened if I, or at the very least someone else, wasn’t there to help you?” “Well I..” You don’t know exactly what to say, “I just..moved without thinking. I don’t know..”  “You need to think. For my sake at least.” He takes your face in his hands, “it makes me happy that you wanted to do the right thing, I just wish you’d be less self-destructive when you did it.” He stands up, “let me get you some medicine, you’re probably in a lot of pain. Maybe a warm bath would help the tenderness.” He keeps your face in his hands, pulling you up a bit by your jaw, “does that sound alright my love?” That makes your stomach flutter, a pleasant bubbling floats up into your albeit bruised ribcage as you nod dumbly at your boyfriend.  “I thought it would.” He huffs out a quiet laugh, “how badly does it hurt? You’re lucky you didn’t break anything. If that villain had been any larger I’m sure she would have crushed you.” You hold onto his forearms, “I’m a pretty lucky person..” He hums affectionately. “Yeah it, sure looks like you are. I’ll start a bath for you okay? Wait here, try to get comfortable.”  You have mixed results, but he’s back soon enough, helping you up. Once you make it to his bathroom he’s helping you out of your clothes, careful not to let you move or contort too much.  “Kugo?” You ask quietly as you sink down in the bathwater.  “Mhm?” He’s already wetting your hair with the warm water, slicking it back with large, soft palms.  “You don’t think I’m weak, do you? Wouldn’t you rather date a hero or something? Someone who can hold their own? That you don’t have to worry about so much?”  His hand pulls away a bit, he seems surprised. “Of course I don’t. Being a hero is my job, I don’t think lowly of people who need my help because I’ll need their help one day too. Do you have a poor opinion of everyone who comes to you and needs help fixing the awful haircut they gave themself?” He drags a soapy hand over your shoulder and you shake your head at that,  “no, I guess I never saw it that way..”  “I worry about you because I love you, not because I think you’re weak. I’d worry about you if you were the no. 1 hero just as much as I worry now. Don’t put thoughts like that in your head they’re not worth the space they take up. Let’s get you cleaned up and a little more comfortable, okay?”
Vald King/ Sekijiro Kan: “Oh? Hey! Look who’s awake.” Sekijiro is sitting beside your bed when you open your eyes. Well you think it’s your bed.  “Where....am I?” You turn to look at him and he sits up a little,  “you’re at my place.” So his bed. Same difference.  “What..what happened?” You rub your head, or you try to but picking your arm up makes you hiss.  “You don’t remember?” He leans toward you, worry etched into his face, “then maybe I should take you back to the hospital-”  It started to come back to you at that, You were on a bus, some sort of villain attacked, there was a pretty big car accident from what you remembered he was trying to drive the bus off a bridge into a free way below, you’d tried negotiating with the guy but he just gave you an uppercut. Though in the time you wasted pestering him he’d lost his window of opportunity, instead he just crashed into a wall. You must have gotten to a hospital somehow...But how’d you get back here? “Oh..the attack..” You wrestle yourself up and he flails up to stop you,  “hey maybe not right this second! The doctors say you hit your head pretty hard, and you broke your collarbone.” He presses you back down into bed, “plus a whole bunch of other bumps and bruises. If I didn’t know any better I’d say you’re cursed or something. But when you woke up in the hospital they said I could bring you back here as long as I kept an eye on you.” He pats your thigh under the blanket.  “my head hurts..” You groan and he hums sympathetically, “yeah I figured you’d say that. Here.” He holds up a bottle of pain meds, “you want 2 or 3?”  “5.” “I’m not a doctor but I think that’s too many.” He hands you three and a glass of water, “need help?” You shake your head and he nods, sitting back in his chair.  “You could have sat in here with me.” You say after downing the pills.  “I didn’t wanna spook you when you woke up.” He shrugs, “let me get you some ice. It’ll help with the swelling, I’ll be right back.”  True to his word he only takes a few minutes before he’s back at your side, “you want me to get in bed with you?” He laughs at the way you’d pulled the duvet back, clearly making a spot for him.  “I guess I owe you that much.” He climbs into bed with you and holds the icepack to your shoulder. “We talked with some of the witnesses from the bus jacking, the ones who made it out with just a few scrapes...we owe you big time.” His other hand rubs your thigh, “if you hadn’t started talking to that guy he would have driven that bus clean into the freeway, you saved a lot of people by being your usual thoughtless self.”  “Well he did punch me in the face.” You murmur, free hand rubbing your jaw and the bruise that blossomed under your palm, “I think you’re rubbing off on me Seki..”  He laughs a little and wraps an arm around you, pulling you into his side, “I don’t know how happy I am about that yet. But I owe you a huge thanks at the very least. You did a really impressive thing today, even if it got you hurt.” “I’m just a secretary.” You wave, “being talkative is my job.” He grins at that, “well I guess you’re right about that..” He presses a long kiss to your temple.  “I was really worried you know..when I figured out what bus that was, that you were on it..when I was talking to the witnesses it barely took me 2 conversations to figure out you were the idiot who tried talking a villain down.”  He sighs, “I guess I can’t be too mad at you though..”  “No you can’t.” You preen and he huffs, “you’re grounded though.”  “Grounded!?” You gasp, “Sekijiro you can’t do that we’re both adults!”  “Don’t wanna hear it. You’ve got my number, call me when crazy stuff like that happens. I’ll be there. I’d rather it be me who gets punched in the face. ‘S sorta my job. So you’re grounded. Like it or not I’m not letting you out of my sight. You aren’t allowed to lift a finger until you’re all healed up, maybe even after that I haven’t decided. Anyways, I already called your boss. So don’t bother trying to go to work tomorrow she’ll just send you home.” “Sekijirio!” You gasp and he catches your hand before you can shove his chest.  “And you’re gonna like it. Come on, come here.” He accepts you into his chest, wrapping both arms around you, “lucky you the break isn’t so bad, you’ll just be in a sling for a bit...” He lets out a long sigh as you slump into his chest, “I was so worried.”  “I’m sorry..” You turn into him and he leans into your hair, “you did the right thing. I love you and I’m proud of you...You made the hero play. So..don’t be sorry just...be more careful from now on, okay?”  “...Yessir...” You wrap your free arm around him. “Thank you.”  “I was thinking of leaving my office if I don’t get a promotion soon..and after my run in with that villain today I think I’ve got the makings of a pretty good sidekick huh?” You tease and Sekijiro shudders.  “Please I don’t know what I’d do if I was this worried about you all the time. I’m really happy being in love with a secretary I think we should keep doing that.”

Summary: Neither Sea Hawk nor Entrapta know how kidnapping works.
Content warning: Sea Hawk (being a complete drama king), Mermista (being rather aggressive), and some light-hearted ‘bondage’ that is not at all sexual.
-
Hordak walked around the base of the structure, studying the completed building. “Which team was responsible for this?” he asked the supervisor trailing behind him.
“Team Four.”
He nodded. “This is excellent work. They should be commended for their efforts.”
The woman froze. “I...what?”
Hordak glanced at her before resuming his inspection. “They have performed well. That should be acknowledged.” He paused, realizing he could be overstepping. “I know I do not have any authority here. Consider it a suggestion.”
“I...I’ll make a note of that,” she said, sounding unsure of herself.
He nodded, finished with his inspection. “What’s the next—?”
”Hey!”
They both turned, watching Mermista stalk toward them. The woman behind him paled immediately and bowed low. “Princess, it is an—“
Mermista ignored her, jabbing a finger at Hordak. “Where is he?”
“I have no idea what you’re talking about.”
“Sea Hawk—where. is. he?”
Hordak‘s ears folded back. “I was not aware I was meant to be watching him.”
“Funny.”
He crossed his arms. “That was not—“
Mermista stepped close, and in the distance, the ocean crashed. “Don’t play games with me; just tell me what you did and maybe I’ll go easy on you.”
He cocked his head. “I am not ‘playing games’. You are unable to find him?”
She looked him over. “You really don’t...?” Turning away, she swore under her breath and stormed off.
“Princess?”
“Forget it,” she snapped, never breaking stride.
Frowning, he turned toward the other woman. “We will continue this later.”
He started to follow Mermista, but the woman said, “Sir?” He turned, and she stepped toward him, eyeing Mermista with caution. “Be careful. The Princess doesn’t like you very much.”
He huffed. “I am aware.” Her gaze darted from him to Mermista, and he sighed. “Your concern is noted. Carry on without me. I will return later.” She said nothing, and he turned away, catching up to Mermista by walking briskly. “The two of you were meant to leave for Plumeria today.” He and Entrapta were not the only ones Perfuma had invited to her Kingdom. “He seemed excited. I do not think he would wander off.”
She glared at him, trying to walk faster, but his long stride made it easy to keep up. Seeing that this tactic wasn’t working, she tried another. “Why do you care?”
“I do not. Where have you looked for him?”
“I didn’t ask for your help.”
”I did not offer it. Does he have anyone that would want to harm—?“ He huffed, realizing that was a stupid question. “Who has the most cause to harm him?”
“Shut up! Just—shut up!” She rounded on him, hands balled into fists at her sides. Abruptly, she forced herself out of her pugilistic stance, crossing her arms and looking away. “Whatever. He’s Sea Hawk. He’s probably just...setting a ship on fire or something.”
Hordak’s ears folded back. “Why would he do that?”
She threw up her hands and groaned aloud. “I don’t know—because he’s Sea Hawk. Stop pretending you care! I’m not going to fall for it!”
He cocked his head, ears still back. “What?”
“Drop the act—I know you’re just using him.”
Hordak huffed. “Don’t be ridiculous. Sea Hawk is entirely useless.”
“So you expect me to believe you actually like spending time with him?” Water began to leech from the ground, forming small pools around him. He watched the puddles form, then shifted to regard her more warily. “Maybe you can fool Entrapta, but—“
“What?!”
“I said—maybe you can trick Entrapta into thinking you’re her ‘friend’, but you can’t trick me. And I won’t let you hurt her or Sea Hawk, got it?”
He could hear his hearts hammering in his ears, the sound distractingly loud. Everything seemed to slow down. His hands curled, and his breathing felt tight. The nerves along his scalp prickled, and he couldn’t find the words to deny her—he was just too angry to speak.
For once, he was glad to be weaponless; at the moment, he wouldn’t trust himself with one.
Misunderstanding the source of his anger, Mermista sneered. “Oh, yeah. I know exactly what you’re doing. Geek Princess knows tech, but she doesn’t know people. Someone like you was bound to take advantage of that sooner or later. Is that how you got her to switch sides? Playing with her feelings? Making her think you care about her? People like you don’t care about anyone. You only care about yourself, and how to use other people for your own ends.”
“You know nothing,” he finally managed to snap. His claws bit into his palms, and he flexed his fingers open to keep from hurting himself. A not insignificant part of him longed to feel the chill of water wrapping around his torso; it would be a good excuse to fight back, to lash out. He held himself in check, though, remembering the treaty—remembering too that Entrapta would be disappointed in him if he hurt one of her supposed ‘friends’.
“I know you’ve got some kind of plan in mind, and—“
Both of them jumped when Mermista’s communicator started to go off. She did something strange with her hand—first pointing to her face, index and middle fingers spread, then pointing to him. His ears pulled back in annoyance and confusion. Glaring, she pulled up her communicator and turned her back on him in obvious dismissal. He growled softly, even as he resisted the urge to show her why that was a bad idea. Determined to ignore her, he started to walk away, until he heard—“Hi, Mermista! You remember when I asked if I could borrow Hordak for a few days so I could take him to the Flower Festival, right?”
“Entrapta?” he asked, ears pricked.
Mermista glared at him, but answered Entrapta, “Yeah? What of it?”
“I’m no longer asking!” Hordak’s ears twitched. He walked up behind Mermista; his height made it easy for him to peer over her head. Seeing him, Entrapta beamed. “Hi, Hordak! I’m kidnapping you.”
“What?” he and Mermista asked at the same time. They glared at each other. Ears back, Hordak cleared his throat and focused on the communicator. “Entrapta, I....” He huffed. “You cannot kidnap me. That would break the peace treaty and could have serious ramifications for your nation’s alliance with Salineas. They’re an important trade partner. You cannot risk such a thing for what amounts to a short vacation.”
“Oh. Well. That’s gonna make this really awkward....”
As if on queue, Sea Hawk appeared on the screen. He raised a dramatic hand to his forehead. “Oh, woe! Woe is me! I have been captured!” He bent backwards, supported only by a rope of Entrapta’s hair. “Please, my love—you must concede to her demands! Who knows what this villain is capable of...even if she isn’t dressed like one.”
“I think overalls are really an all-purpose outfit.”
He just sighed heavily. “Woe! Woe is me—kidnapped by a villain with no sense of style, which is honestly worse than the kidnapping itself.”
”They can be evil overalls,” she offered helpfully.
Mermista groaned. “Sea Hawk, I’ve been looking for you all morning. Where are you?”
Hordak cocked his head. “Entrapta, I do not understand.”
“Oh, it’s really very simple. When Mermista said you couldn’t come to Plumeria with me, Sea Hawk called, and—“
Sea Hawk jumped into action, grabbing hold of the communicator. “She is devious! She lured me into her web, like some sort of devilish spider! I was captured! Caught! Please, my love, you must meet her demands—or else!”
“Oh—right,” Entrapta said. “Absolutely. That is exactly what happened.” She winked, and Hordak pressed his fingertips to his forehead, sighing.
Mermista groaned. “Ugh. You cannot be serious. Please tell me you’re not doing this.”
“I’m afraid this is a matter of deadly seriousness, my love! You must meet us at the docks in half an hour—“
“Oh, make it one hour. So Hordak has time to pack.”
“Right! Of course.” He cleared his throat. “You must meet us at the docks in one hour; who knows what terrors she has in store for me!”
Entrapta waved. “Bye! Remember to pack comfortable clothes.”
He cocked his head, ears back, even as he waved hesitantly. The communicator shut off, and Mermista groaned aloud, the sound long and drawn out. She spun to glare at him. “What did you do?” she snapped.
“I had no part in this farce!”
“Obviously! This has ‘Sea Hawk’ written all over it, but he’s only doing it because he likes you, and I don’t get it! You’re—ugh!” She gestured to him and sneered.
“Entrapta will not harm him.”
“I know that!”
“You misunderstand—I mean that Entrapta will not harm him if you don’t bring me to her.”
“Yeah, and if I don’t, now suddenly I’m the bad guy for ruining his fun.”
His ears folded back, and he cocked his head. “Sea Hawk is very...fond of you. Yet you do not seem particularly fond of him.”
She opened her mouth, then snapped it shut. Her hands clenched closed, then she exhaled slowly and flexed her them open again. “Shut up. What do you know about relationships?”
“I don’t pretend to know anything. It was just an observation.”
“Yeah, well, go observe something else.”
“Happily.”
He rejoined the builders and resumed his work. Mermista could sort out Sea Hawk, and he was confident that Entrapta would seek him out when everything was settled. They could not go to Plumeria together, but she’d said she was amenable to staying with him in Salineas for a while.
A little over an hour later, though, he was drawn from his current project by the sound of shouting. He immediately ran toward the screaming, expecting to find a half-collapsed building or the results of an errant explosion. He did not expect to find Entrapta’s mech from Beast Island running rampant through the construction site, while workers scattered before her like seals before an orca. “What is that?” one of the crew asked, defensively raising a metal pipe despite her shaking hands.
“Stand down,” he said, “That is Bethany, one of Entrapta’s companions. She is not here to harm anyone. Just keep out of her way; I imagine she’s looking for me.”
He started toward her, and one of the workers grabbed his arm—dropping it immediately when he glared at him. “You’re sure it’s safe?”
Hordak’s ears twitched. “I did not say that she was safe.” Bethany could sometimes become overexcited, and she often forgot her own strength. “Remain here, and you will be fine. It’s me she wants.”
He walked away from the group, directing others to keep clear as he approached. As soon as Bethany noticed him, she sprinted in his direction, powerful front legs kicking up dust and dirt. He stood still, watching as she corrected her trajectory by leaping overhead when she realized she was going too fast to stop without colliding with him. He turned to face her as she landed, dust hazing the air. She walked toward him at a more sedate pace and knelt as the dust settled, tilting her head so he could reach up to scratch her ‘ear’. Her engine rumbled as he did, and her  ‘mouth’ fell open, but Entrapta was not inside. His ears folded back. “Bethany, where is Entrap—ta?!”
She snapped him up, enclosing him in her cramped cockpit. He blinked, reorienting himself and twisting into an acceptable position. Comfort would not be possible in such a confined space. He toggled her controls, but her autopilot was engaged and the controls were locked. He could unlock them, if he wanted. Bethany’s design was rather primitive in some ways, and many of her controls could be hacked relatively easily. However, he saw no reason to offend her when he suspected he knew where she was taking him. He settled in to wait out the bumpy trip, not especially surprised when they reached the docks.
Entrapta was waiting for them, a trunk by her side. Bethany came to a sudden stop, jostling him, but she gently lowered her head so he could climb out of the cockpit with some measure of ease. Before his feet even touched the ground, Entrapta’s hair caught him up and pulled him close. Her arms wrapped around his shoulders, and her legs wrapped around his hips. Her hair wrapped around everything else. He curled around her just as tightly, burying his face in the side of her neck and holding her close. “Hello, Starlight,” he murmured, her hair coiling around his fingers. “I’ve missed you.”
She nodded and hugged him tighter, sighing in contentment. “I missed you too! It hasn’t even been that long, but...” She pulled back just enough to look at him. “I didn’t know I could miss someone the way I missed you.” She laid a hand on his cheek, and he leaned into her palm, shutting his eyes to savor the touch. Her other hand slid between them, resting on his sternum. “You’re purring.”
His eyes opened, but he didn’t pull away. “It is not a purr. I do not....” He trailed off with a huff. Entrapta was smiling at him; he would not argue if she wanted to call it a purr.
“So, are you ready to go?”
“Go?”
“To Plumeria.”
His ears folded back. “Mermista agreed to that?”
“Well...” she drew out the word. “Not exactly. She came to pick up Sea Hawk and said that I could find you myself. We didn’t really discuss Plumeria, but I’m sure it’s okay. Sea Hawk waved as they left and very clearly said he’d see us there. So it’s probably fine.”
Hordak shook his head uncertainly. “I do not think that qualifies as an agreement.”
“Do you want to go?”
“It does not matter what I want—“
“It does, though.” He looked away, but a lock of hair curled around his cheek, urging him to turn back to her. “It matters to me. So—do you want to go?”
He shut his eyes and took a breath as he considered his reply. Finally, he looked at her and said, “I want to spend time with you; the location does not matter.”
Her smile was brilliant. “Excellent!” Her hair peeled away from him, and she used it to balance as she too pulled away. “May I have your hands?”
Curious, he held out his hands, and she installed a chip on each gauntlet. “What are you—?” She pressed a button, and a tether of purple light appeared between the two chips as his forearms pulled together. His ears folded back, and he tried to pull his hands apart. There were a few inches of give, but the tether held. He suspected he could break the bond if he absolutely needed to, but he was also able to reach the button Entrapta had pressed with ease. He touched it, and the tether disappeared. She turned it back on. “I do not understand what you’re doing,” he said.
“I’m kidnapping you!”
He cocked his head. “That is not an explanation.”
She hooked a rope of hair through the crook of his elbow and began guiding him toward the only steel vessel docked amidst the multitude of wooden ships. Another rope of hair grabbed the trunk, and he realized abrupty that it was his trunk, not hers. “Well, the way I figure, if I kidnap you, you’re not breaking the treaty.”
“But you would be. I do not want you to suffer—politically or personally—for my sake.”
“Actually, I signed the treaty as a member of the Princess Alliance; I didn’t make any promises about rebuilding. In fact, from a certain standpoint, you could read the clauses I agreed to—about pardoning the Etherian Horde for their acts during wartime and not penalizing Prime’s Clones for their actions while under his control—as applying to you. Excluding you from the festival, when all the other Princesses and their partners are allowed to go, is just singling you out for special punishment. Which you don’t deserve and is explicitly forbidden by the treaty.”
“I am free and permitted to remain at your side. I fail to see how I’m being punished for anything. They could be much harsher—“
She turned and used the tether to pull him close, kissing him with unexpected ferocity. He shut his eyes and leaned in, savoring the sensation of her lips against his. She pulled back slowly to look at him. “No, they can’t. Not while I’m here.” Her gaze, too, was fierce. And protective. “My nation has many trade partners, and the tech we produce is very valuable. No one is going to break a trade agreement over this. As for personal consequences....” She pressed her forehead to his, eyes shut, and feathered her thumb along the skin just behind his ear. “You are my best, most constant friend. You’re my lab partner. If they have a problem with that, then they’re not really my friends.” He sighed audibly, tension he wasn’t aware of bleeding out of his shoulders. She pulled back and grinned at him. “Now—to Plumeria!”
He still had his reservations about the whole thing, but he couldn’t find it in himself to deny her. A soft smile tugged at his mouth. “Lead the way, Starlight.”
She smiled and kissed him again, soft and gentle this time.
