but also like. aisling adopts the kids in her h.g verse. like even in the face of the reapings each year, she keeps adopting bc she knows they need a home, and she knows the victor's village is a massive place for any family to live in, so she refurbishes the mansion herself, and she adopts all the kids, and she opens up a restaurant in the heart of town to provide free food for people, which doubles as a rebel hot spot. the capitol lap it all up, but she knows full well that the government officials are PISSED that she's become this sensation for "giving the goodness of the capitol to those who deserve it most", they hate that she's so sweetly revealing the cruelty of the capitol, and they can't stop her. each year, she goes out and makes sure people have very few reasons to sign up for tesserae, and she helps a couple of her tributes to win, but not nearly enough to quell the nightmares and the horrors of knowing what she's encouraged them to do.
