Any Cx Es AU you can think up?
Edward ran through the door so quickly it actually startled the old doctor. Sometimes he forgot how fast Edward truly was.
He hadnât been expecting him home for a while. He told him heâd be out running and hunting for most of the night...
âCarlisle!â He exclaimed. âI have to show you something.â
Carlisle furrowed his brow but stood from his desk chair. âIs something wrong?â
âI was out runningâ I was maybe two states over? Iâm not sure. But thereâs another vampire-â
âAre you hurt? Are they after you?â
The boy shook his head. âNo, she...Iâm worried for her.â
Carlisle was surprisedâ it wasnât often they met another vampire for which Edward felt much sympathy.
âWhy?â
Edward led Carlisle outside, breaking into a sprint that the doctor mimicked. âHer eyes are golden like ours and there was just...something about her. Her thoughts were different.â
Carlisle didnât respond. Instead he allowed Edward to listen to his curious thoughts as they ran.
They ran and ran until Edward halted. Carlisle stopped beside him, nearly knocked to his feet when he was hit by the scent of another vampire.
They peered through the trees, thoughts of fairytales and cliches popping into the doctorâs head as he spotted the flowers and woodland creatures running about.
Why arenât they running from us?
Before he could wonder anymore, he caught site of a woman hopping down from a tree branch with impeccable grace.
Her dress was white, flowing around her ankles and wrists as her somewhat wild curls bounced with each step.
Edward was rightâ her eyes were a light brown shade, not the firey red most of their kind had.
When the wind blew, she must have caught their scent because she froze and straightened up, her skin sparkling under the rays of the sun as she looked around.
Carlisle didnât hesitate before stepping out from behind the trees. She took a step back when she saw him.
Edward stepped up beside him, watching as the animals scattered and flowers wilted all around her.
Amazing.
âWho are you?â She asked them, forcing herself to stand tall after getting over her initial shock and fear.
âMy name is Carlisle Cullen and this is my son, Edward.â The doctor told her, giving her a smile.
She eyed the two of them, lifting a hand to tuck some rogue strands of hair back behind her ear. âWhat do you want?â
Carlisle and Edward exchanged a brief look before Carlisle spoke again. âEdward noticed you while he was out hunting.â
The woman kept watching them as if waiting for a better explanation.
Her brow furrowed, a few tree branches up ahead shaking slightly. âI donât understand.â
The boy shrugged. âI noticed that you abstain from human blood as well. I saw that you were all alone out here...â
âIâm quite alright. I can take care of myself.â
âNo one insinuated that you couldnât.â Carlisle added. âWe just thought we could get to know each other.â
She held Carlisleâs gaze, refusing to relent until Edward spoke up.
âI can hear what youâre afraid ofâ neither of us will hurt you.â
âYou can hear my thoughts?â
The boy nodded, smiling just slightly. âItâs unique to me. This gift. Just as...â He gestured to dead flowers. âall of this seems to be unique to you.â
âI thought we all could do this.â She said, glancing down at the flowers that were rehydrating at her feet.
Carlisle shook his head, watching in amazement. âNo, this is quite special...â
She turned her attention back to him, hesitating a moment before speaking up. âYou donât feed on humans?â
âNo, we donât. Only on animals.â
âMe too. I hate it. They donât seem to realize...â
The boys watched in wonder as a baby deer approached, walking on unsteady legs up to the woman. She gave the baby a loving smile and then met their eyes again. âJudging by your faces...this isnât common either?â
âAnimals are supposed to sense danger around us. Weâre apex predators.â
The woman crouched down and, like snow white in the flesh, lifted the doe into her arms. The baby didnât struggle, didnât squeal for help. Instead, she laid her head down against the vampireâs chest and let her eyes slip closed.
âAnimals have never been afraid of me.â
âAre humans?â Edward askedâ humans that were a bit more intuitive were often wary of them. Most were fascinated but there were always a select few that kept their distance.
âI donât know. I havenât seen a human since I became...this.â
âHow long has it been?â Carlisle asked her.
âIâm not sure. Without sleep the days run together. It was winter when I woke.â
It was November now. Carlisle hypothesized that sheâd been changed nearly a years earlier judging by how the red in her eyes had faded. Perhaps the previous December.
âMay we know your name?â
âEsme.â
Carlisle couldnât help but smile. âThatâs a lovely name.â
âThank you.â Esme responded, her own smile tugging at her lips. âThe two of you live around here?â
Edward shrugged. âA few states north.â
âYou ran all the way down here to see me?â
If it had been possible, the doctor would have blushed. âWe havenât met another vampire like us.â
âSomeone who feeds on animals?â
âExactly.â
âWhat did you expect to happen?â She asked.
âA friendship?â
Esme laughed, the sound making Carlisleâs heart beat quick, phantom beats.
The doctor could feel Edwardâs eyes on him, no doubt having heard his thoughts about the beautiful vampire before them.
âI guess that would be okay.â She told them, setting the baby doe onto the grass. âCome with me. Iâll show you my house.â

Alright here is the full plot of TV Lotus Lantern â05 adaptionÂ
Sanseng Mu marries Liu Yanchang, they have Chen Xiang. Erlang Shen and his posse come down and beat her under a mountain, but not before Sanseng Mu could fight all of them at once and use magic to send Yanchang and baby Chen Xiang away.
16 years pass.
Chen Xiang starts to show celestial powers, which gets him noticed by Erlang Shen. Erlang Shen is all âI knew your mother.....u can call me Uncleâ and Chen Xiang is so happy to find family. Is very sad because no mum.
Meanwhile, the heavenly peach banquet is about to happen in Heaven. Erlang Shen the fairly new Upholder of Heavenly Law (its a job title) gets contacted by Queen Mother about his sister. She tells him to summon Sanseng Mu to do the banquet arrangements.
Erlang Shen goes to Sanseng Muâs underground mountain prison and tells her ârenounce ur family and I will let you out without telling anyone lol.â The reality is that Erlang Shen was never ordered to trap Sanseng Mu at all - he just did it...cos he did it....like sure it was the law but he was NEVER coerced into it. He did it. (Queen Mother and the rest of the court finds out very soon and is like âlmao keep her in prison. They had no idea about any of this until Erlang Shen slipped up and told them.)
Chen Xiang finds out what Erlang Shen really did through-
1) his dad
2) Fourth Dragon Princess of the Eastern Sea, friend of his mother, whom he calls âAuntie,â who visits him every birthday. Also, itâs Chen Xiangâs birthday.
Chen Xiang, after some shenanigans involving running away from Xiao Tian Quan (played by both an actor and a real dog) and getting captured by Bull Demon (plot relevant later I guess???????maybe??) he is cornered by Erlang Shen who wants to murder him after some disappointed feelings about being unable to control him keep him in his village. But yes he attempts to murder him once or twice. Or in the very least âcaptureâ him.
So down comes some other of  Sanseng Muâs friends - the âHundred Flower Goddessesâ çŸè±ä»ć. They are only able to fight off Erlang Shen because they have this juicy af gossip that they can tell on him about, which will get him fired.
The Hot Goss:
Erlang Shen loves Changâe, went to creep on her at her Moon Palace. Overheard Changâe say she didnât like him at all, only has heart for dead husband. So in a rage he punches a tree. Not kidding. This tree, however, was some kind of heavenly treasure (the jade tree that was made from one of the eye lashes of Pangu the earth-sky separator). So heâs in deep trouble. And Changâe told the hot goss to the Hundred Flower Goddesses.
Now Chen Xiang is safe because his Aunts have the Hot Goss. So Erlang Shen, an absolute thot, thinks up this crazy plan in order to catch Chen Xiang. (Not clear what he wants to do with Chen Xiang in the end - he wants to stop him from saving his mother.) He gets into cahoots with Bull Demon and coerces him into imprisoning the Hundred Flower Goddesses. So Bull Demon does this because he is intimidated by Erlang Shen. Also the Mei bros are here.
Shenanigans happen and Chen Xiang, with his Aunts all captured and Dad floundering, is free to roam the earth. He meets Love Interest 1, Xiaoyu, who is a fox demon. (Subplot: Fox demonâs Aunt has been conditioning her to master the Sky Splitting Final Move and fulfil her lifeâs purpose: Avenge her murdered demon parents.)
Chen Xiang also meets his inner friend group: Eighth Prince of the Eastern Sea AoChun and Love Interest 2: human girl sharing a character of his name, Ding Xiang. (Sub plot: Chen Xiangâs parents set up an arranged marriage for their baby (????????) and sheâs Ding Xiang. Ding Xiang wants this arranged marriage to go ahead, falls in love with CX. CX loves fox demon Xiaoyu however. Love triangle time.) Also hangs out with Nezha for a while.
More shenanigans happen and everyone on CXâs side minus CX (powerless) gets into a big fight - culminates in Erlang Shen KILLING Fourth Dragon Princess, Chen Xiangâs Aunt. Straight up splits her soul from her body. Things are very very sad. Canât remember all the details but CX also hides out with Zhu Bajie for a while.
Meanwhile, fox demon Xiaoyuâs Aunt pressures Xiaoyu into stealing and eating the core of the Lotus Lantern. So now Chen Xiang has no lantern. (Demon Aunt dies via Mei Bro #6) Xiaoyuâs gotta focus on revenge.
At one point, Liu Yanchang is also at Zhu Bajieâs and Erlang Shenâs posse try to catch him. The Eldest Mei Bro, Kang the boss, surprises everyone by taking Liu Yanchang out the back and giving him money to escape. He is very worried about what heâs seeing in Erlang Shen, hunting down his nephew like a dog, imprisoning his sister, lying to the court, breaking Changâes tree, killing fourth princess, blackmailing Bull Demon King, lying to his sister etc etc etc. Kang thinks he has lost his honour. He warns Bro #6 as well, but Bro #6 and the others are too loyal to Erlang Shen. (Actually a good plot line about the Mei bros, though very small.)
Zhu Bajie, ofc, knows where to find the mvp: Sun Wukong. Skipping lots of stuff - Sun Wukong is in Heaven, Jade Emperor makes a bet with him and tricks him into hating Chen Xiang. Chen Xiang arrives at Sun Wukongâs and Sun Wukongâs like ânah.â Heâs got to convince Sun Wukong to teach him or Erlang Shen will murder him and his dad.
Too late, cos Erlang Shen has already killed his dad via torture. (Also he has a torture chamber at his place just fyi.) He throws Liu Yanchang into hell and pays the King of Hell Yanwang to CONTINUE TORTURING HIM. Also, he tosses his body back to earth lol.
In addition to this, Erlang Shen goes to Sanseng Muâs prison and tells her this wild lie about Sun Wukong wanting to kill Chen Xiang because he accidentally killed a monkey on his mountain. L I E S. Now Sanseng Mu gives some Plot: she helped Sun Wukong subdue monsters on the journey, he should spare her son because of it. Erlang Shen is all like âhe doesnât care he gonna kill him. Gimme the Lotus Lantern password.â So she does. Now Erlang Shen has the Lotus Lantern password :( (yea you need a password to activate it.)
Now Sun Wukong realises Chen Xiang was a lot like him in his wild young days so he decides to teach him. Meanwhile, the love interests are just at home being sad and maybe doing some training. Erlang Shen is mercilessly staking out the mountain Sun Wukong and CX is at (got orders not to go on monkey turf), and also hunting down Xiaoyu who ate the Lantern core, so he can use her blood to light the lantern and be undefeatable.
At this time, he has stolen the coreless Lotus Lantern and Xiao Tian Quan whoâs nose and tracking ability has been destroyed by Sun Wukong (when they attempted to catch Chen Xiang right in front of him) is sad. So Xiao Tian throws the useless Lantern down. Erlang Shen goes into a rage and kicks his dog who has worked for him for literally thousands of years back to earth, now powerless. Xiao Tian has to scrape a living as a real dog, ends up being rescued by Love Interest 2, Ding Xiang.
Sun Wukong takes Chen Xiang on a heavenly pill splurge and now Chen Xiang has better powers. Chen Xiang is like âthanks, Iâm ready to fight now byeâ and leaves. Love Interest 1 hangs around the mountain that Chen Xiangâs mother is under.
Meanwhile, the peach banquet is getting very close and Queen Mother is like âwhere tf are the Hundred Flower Goddesses when I need them?â
Ding Xiang also comes across the Lotus Lantern that has been tossed back to earth. Xiao Tian Quan sees it, commits suicide, and goes back to Erlang Shen.
tbc
I will write up part 2 if anyone is actually interested in knowing the TVLL plot without watching it. Does this interest you?

CX - Donât Ever Stop Hating Me
Sportarobbie Fanfiction - The 110th Shortie
;)
Warnings: Nope, none at all :)
Summary: This is it. Itâs Robbieâs and Sportacusâs wedding day. In the beginning thereâs a lot of fuss, and the couple is actually quite nervous, surprising themselves, but in the end, they all are happy about the marriage of Mr Rotten and... Mr Rotten.
Sportacus is up in his airship, battling with his bowtie, trying to tie it neatly around his neck. Bessie was helpful and made a tiny pocket to the bowtie so Sportacus could still have his crystal with him safely. He sits down on the edge of his bed, careful not to rip the fancy, white suit, and takes a deep breath. This is it.
Robbie is down in his lair, lying in bed. He stares at the ceiling in silence, even though he knows he should be getting into his dress. The merge between a suit and a dress Robbie made himself is all laid out on the orange chair, waiting for the moment Robbie pulls himself together. But nowâs not the moment - not quite yet. Robbie listens to the sound of people fussing around right above him, and sighs. Here it goes.
âWhat do you mean âthe lights arenât workingâ?â Stephanie shrieks, squeezing the flowers in her hands. Pixel fiddles with the sleeves of his pastel green suit and stutters: âI-I donât know. If I did, I wouldâve fixed it already.â
Stephanie takes a deep breath and shakes her head. âCan you handle it yourself? Iâve really got a lot of stuff to work on.â Pixel nods. âGood.â Stephanie shoves the forget-me-nots and purple penstemons to Trixie, asking her to take care of the rest of the decorating.
âDoes anyone know where uncle Milford went?â Stephanie asks, wiping her brow and sighing. âHe forgot his cheat sheet at home. Heâs getting it right nowâ, Ziggy answers. He follows everything around him, sitting on a bench and holding his basket of flower petals portectively. Stephanie has managed to convince him not to eat a lollipop at least before the ceremony, so he wonât get his baby blue suit all messed up.
Bessieâs dark blue dress drags on the ground as she gets to the billboard, carrying the big wedding cake. Sheâs just about getting to the table where the cake is supposed to be placed, as Stephanie shouts:Â âBessie, look out!â Suddenly Bessie trips on wires over the ground, and everyone stops in horror as the cakes fall off her arms. Luckily, Trixie slides to rescue, catching the cake.
âOh my goodness... Thank you Trixie!â Stephanie helps her get the dirt off of Trixieâs peach suit, and they get the cake to its place safely. Milford finally returns, wearing his best orange suit, all ready to officiate the wedding. Stephanie sighs in relief as she sees everyone is there, and Pixel tells her the lights are all fixed, but then Stingy, grabbing the hem of his pale yellow suit aggressively, pipes up.
âWhere are the rings? I canât be the ring bearer without the rings!â Stephanie groans and sits down on the ground - still careful not to get her pretty, light pink dress dirty, though. She wraps her arms around herself, touching the lace sleeves, and whines:Â âI donât know. I didnât even think about the rings. I forgot all about them.â
Trixie kneels down next to Stephanie and puts her hand on her shoulder. âHey, Pinky. Thereâs no need to stress out so much. Relax for a moment, everythingâs under control.â Stephanie smiles at her. âYeah... Thanks, Trixie. I really should calm down a littleâ, she chuckles. Trixie hugs her before helping her get back up. Pixel smiles, and states from his little light and sound booth: âYou know, I think Sportacus should have the rings. Itâs all under control.â
They all continue to put up the lights and decorations, putting some of the extra flowers in front of the billboard. Eventually, Robbie appears from his lair, wearing his white suit-dress with thin, purple stripes. He looks around, staring at the white, blue, and purple ribbons, the forget-me-nots, the purple penstemons, and the people doing finishing touches on everything.
âHello.â Everyone suddenly turns to Robbie, surprised, and welcoming him with big smiles. âI like your dressâ, Ziggy compliments, and Robbie nods with a smile. Stephanie grins at him: âI see you put on blue eyeshadow. For Sportacus perhaps?â âMaybe.â
âZiggy, wonât you quickly run to Sportacus to get the rings? Weâre a little busy hereâ, Stephanie asks. Ziggy nods and gets running right away. Robbie sighs as he sees everythingâs pretty much ready.
Sportacus is already on ground level, sitting by his airshipâs ladder, when Ziggy runs over to him. âSportacus! We need the rings!â Sportacus smiles, taking the rings from his pocket and giving them to Ziggy. âThank you... The ceremonyâs about to begin soon. Are you nervous?â Sportacus shrugs: âA little. But mostly excited. I canât wait to see Robbie.â Ziggy smiles. He looks back over to the billboard. âYou should probably wait a little longer. Then we should all be ready.â Sportacus smiles: âIâll be there soon.â
Ziggy comes back running to the others, and gives Stingy the shiny rings. âMine...â Stephanie frowns, legitimately exhausted: âStingy, please.â âAlright, alright...â
Everyone gets to their places; Bessie, Trixie, and Stingy sit down on a bench, Pixel gets into his booth, Milford goes to stand on the stairs in front of the billboard, and Robbie stands in front of him. Ziggy waits at the beginning of the aisle for Sportacus to arrive, while Stephanie gets her camera ready.
Robbie takes deep breaths, and Milford looks through his cheat sheet, while everyone else just waits excitedly. Soon enough, Sportacus arrives. He smiles wide as he sees the place all decorated. Once heâs done being amazed, Pixel starts playing a pretty song on his electric piano, and Ziggy starts walking down the aisle, throwing the flower petals. He even throws some on the people sitting on the benches, and Stephanie chuckles at that, taking adorable pictures.
Once Ziggy has gone to sit down, Sportacus starts walking down the aisle slowly. He smiles wide at Robbie, already getting a little teary eyed. Though Robbie makes him laugh, as he signals to Sportacus:Â âIf you do even one backflip walking down that aisle, Iâm pre-divorcing you.â
As Sportacus has arrived next to Robbie, Pixel stops the music, and Milford starts speaking. He gets a lot of his words messed up, and Robbie and Sportacus smile at each other. Robbieâs eyeshadow matches Sportacusâs suitâs baby blue accents and his eyes perfectly. âI love your dressâ, Sportacus whispers. âI love the fact that you didnât do any backflips walking down that aisle.â
âUh, Stingy. Can we have the rings, please?â Milford asks, and Stingy brings the rings hesitantly. Robbie puts on Sportacusâs finger the shiny ring, with five jewels; two blue ones, and a purple one in the middle. On the other side of the ring, there are three words, eight letters, engraved in cursive. âI hate you.â In return, Sportacus puts on Robbieâs finger the ring with two purple jewels, and a blue one in the middle, and on the other side, engraved in cursive: âI love you too.â
âYou may now kiss!â They smile at each other for a moment before jumping into a kiss, and everyone starts applauding. They break away from the kiss and grin at each other again. A tear rolls down Sportacusâs cheek, and Robbie laughs at him, even though he canât deny there are tears in his eyes as well.
Robbie and Sportacus cut the sugarfree cake together, and Stephanie keeps taking pictures. The final decoration on the cake is edible flowers, and on the top a small model of the couple, made with Pixelâs 3D printer. Itâs Sportacus doing a handstand, and Robbie standing next to him, facepalming.
After eating some cake, it already starts getting a little dark. Pixel turns on all the lights around the place, making it even more magical, and Stephanie runs over to Robbie and Sportacus. âHey, guys. Should you maybe have you first dance as a married couple? I think itâs a pretty good moment.â Sportacus smiles and gets up, and so Robbie follows.
The kids run over to Pixelâs booth, and they all grab instruments from their hiding places. Suddenly the kids have formed a band, with Stingy as the lead vocalist, and Stephanie playing the piano with Pixel, while also being a background singer. Meanwhile, Ziggy and Trixie both play the drums. They all start playing together, and Sportacus and Robbie dance.
âI actually took some more dancing lessons from Stephanieâ, Sportacus states quietly, as they start dancing slowly. âOf course you did. What would you even do without that dancing girl?â âI really donât know. We wouldnât even be married if it wasnât for her.â
Robbie laughs:Â âWhat?â Sportacus smiles:Â âItâs true! She was the first one out of anybody to notice our feelings for each other. I think she noticed even before me. And she was the one who convinced me to tell you. And she helped me make that scrapbook I proposed with. And even at that point, I wouldâve probably backed out if she wasnât there to push me over to you - literally.â
Robbie chuckles: âYou really would be lost without her.â âI would be lost without you.â Robbie smiles: âYeah, you would. Who would even fix your airship for you?â Sportacus giggles and rests his forehead on Robbieâs shoulder.
After the dance, the kids, Milford, and Bessie get on the âdance floorâ as well, and Pixel starts playing the song he and Stephanie have recorded earlier. Robbie and Sportacus on the other hand sit by the lit up billboard, holding hands.
âHow does it feel to be mister Rotten?â Robbie asks with a grin. Sportacus smiles:Â âItâs amazing. And you are the best husband ever.â Robbie gasps:Â âWoah, calm down! Weâve been married for less than 24 hours, no rash decisions!â Sportacus laughs and leans on Robbie.
They spend a moment in silence, watching the others dance. Robbie then whispers: âI love you.â Sportacus grins: âI hate you too.â Robbie rolls his eyes, and kisses Sportacus deeply and passionately. âIf this is what itâs like, donât ever stop hating me.â

Answer the following for your muse(s) so people know how shipping works on your blog.REPOST. Donât reblog.
WHATâS YOUR OTP FOR YOUR MUSE?:Â
Kira x New Books
Idk, honestly I donât really have an OTP for her right now. And thatâs mostly because I donât really have any active ships for her. Sheâs difficult to get along with sometimes and isnât very âeasyâ to court in any means. (Mostly due to aloof nature and the fact that she just doesnât see people trying to woo her. She just assumes youâre being nice.)
I am very willing to change this status though. If anyone cares to be pecked and whined to death. Lol.
WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO RP WHEN IT COMES TO SHIPPING?:
Shipping wise, I donât mind really any sort of interactions. I enjoy fluff, angst, one sided, toxic, sickeningly sweet, etc etc. It doesnât really matter to me. One night stands are alright too I guess, so long as you plan that out with me and really want to get on Kiraâs bad side. Iâll write smut if anything heads in that direction, but I prefer to leave it under cuts or on discord/skype. Mostly cause Iâm insecure in my own writing. Iâm up for anything. ^^
HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE?:
As long as the mun and muse Iâm playing with are above the legal age when writing possibly intimate scenes, I donât care. Kira doesnât really either. Sheâs wary of most people, regardless of age nowadays. But as long as you arenât ready for the grave or fresh out of the cradle, she doesnât mind so much. Considering she doesnât get far with anyone usually anyway, sheâll probably humor you.
Or you can put it as, she wouldnât mind pre-war ghouls even. So long as they are good partners, she doesnât care.
ARE YOU SELECTIVE WHEN SHIPPING?:
Not too much really. As long as Kira likes you, it doesnât matter to me really. Since sheâs multiship now, thereâs room for many different kinds of ships. The only one you gotta please is her.
And trust me, thatâs a task in and of itself. Youâd find it easier to get along with me than her.
HOW FAR DO STEAMY MOMENTS HAVE TO GO BEFORE THEYâRE CONSIDERED NS.FW?:Â
Mmm, I guess itâd have to be when the heavy petting starts or when the clothes come off I guess. Around those times Iâd put it under a read more or move it to another place.
(Kira likes her privacy.)
WHO ARE OTHER MUSES YOU SHIP YOUR MUSE WITH?:Â Â
Whew, way to put me on the spot. Well, she doesnât have any actual ships really besides her ship with Daniel. ( @enclaveassh0le ) But thatâs been on the rocks for awhile, idk if thereâs any interest left on the other end or not since itâs been so long. Kira still has mixed feelings on it, so thereâs still a chance for it to still be a ship. But hey, only time can tell right? ^^
(Lol, couldnât help it.)
But other than that, I donât have anything official going on! So Iâd hate to assume anything by anyone else. Iâd hate to put pressure or misread things. I ship Kira with at least one of @ask-cerus âs characters dammit. Itâs just whoever scoops her up first I guess! Lol, all of her boys are so nice to her and she wouldnât mind any of them really. So long as they can keep up with her.
Eddie seems to like her. ( @theycallmemrgluskin ) Though for good or evil purpose she doesnât know. If he plays his cards very very carefully, he may get away with stealing her. How long heâll be able to keep her happy though is anyoneâs guess. If heâs interested, I wish him all the luck he can muster. Cause though he may be more physically adept than her, birds donât enjoy being caged for very long. She may just piss him off much too quickly and wind up dead.
DOES ONE HAVE TO ASK TO SHIP WITH YOU?:Â
You donât have to ask, but itâs in your better interest to at least mention it to me. Even nonchalantly like: Theyâre so cute..... THEy SHoulD Kisssss!!! I will get the message. CX That way I understand that youâre actually interested in her. Cause she sure as hell wonât notice your efforts unless youâre really forward and spell it out for her. But you can try that if you like! Just give her a smooch and hope she doesnât throw a copy of A Farewell to Arms at you.
HOW OFTEN DO YOU LIKE TO SHIP?:Â
I havenât had the opportunity to ship much with Kira. So Iâd like to change that and get a few more. Iâm open to anyone willing to try it.
ARE YOU MULTISHIP?:Â
Indeed this is so. Regardless of her barren shipping list. Lol.
ARE YOU SHIP OBSESSED OR SHIP MORE-OR-LESS?: Â Â
Iâll still rp her if she doesnât have ships. (Kinda already in that boat) But like I said, Iâd like to have more one day! I want to see her happy again. She needs kisses.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SHIP IN YOUR CURRENT FANDOM?:Â
Donât think I got one currently. CX
FINALLY, HOW DOES ONE SHIP WITH YOU?:Â
Either let me know you want to or joke around with me about it till you notice Kira blushing. Once you get her blushing, thereâs no return.
Or you can try just rping with her a shit ton and try to court her. (Though itâll be easier for you if you let me know you want her to be more open about it. Cause otherwise sheâll automatically assume youâre just being really nice to her.)

Chapter 3: Jealously is not a good look
Chapter 3: Jealously is not a good look
Timeline: Kadara
One thing â can I point out the height between Liam and Ryder is ridiculous. In some, she looks like the same height as him, in others, she seems tiny next to him â make up your mind Bioware!
And this delves into the more smuttier side

Chapter 1:Â These Frustrating Unwanted Feelings
Chapter 2: The drawbacks of being intimate Â
Chapter 4: Coming Soon
It was Peebee's wolf whistle that brought his attention away from his data pad and he looked up to see Sara making her way into the Research Center dressed in black mid-calves leggings, there was lace at the hem and a white off-one-shoulder mid-thigh top, a simple silver belt cinched at the waist..
Her dark hair was loose from its ponytail, framing her face in gentle waves and she was currently putting simple diamond earrings in.
"Nice outfit, Kid," Drack told her. "You did good finding these, Vetra."
"Do not ask when I got them," Vetra held up a hand to Cora as the commando turned to look at her with a curious expression. "Even I am still surprised that I was able to find these."
"Are these your normal human clothes?" Jaal asked from where he was standing next to the Development and Research section, clearly browsing for another weapon to create.
"In the Milky Way, yes," Cora told him and he nodded.
"So what is with the get up?" Peebee asked. "Got a hot date?" She winked.
As jealously surged through him, he carefully kept his expression neutral.
Sara merely sighed as she finished putting the earrings in then ran her hands over her top, smoothing it out.
"I am currently Reyes' plus one to Sloane's party," she informed them. Liam bit back the growl at the mention of the man who kept flirting with Sara, while reminding himself that he had no claim to Sara.
They were both free to do whatever they wanted with other people. It was just something fun between them. If that was true, then why did it feel like daggers to the heart?
"SAM, are you sure I can't bring my gun?" she asked.
"Sorry Sara," Liam brought his Data-Pad back up to hide his smile, Sara had been very vocal in SAM dropping the Pathfinder title and using only her name, "But it is the rule on Kadara and you are merely going to a party, not a fight."
"Everything can be a fight," Sara muttered.
"If you do not wish to go, why are going?" Jaal asked; bewildered as ever when it came to the Milky Way of things.
"Because I need an Outpost on Kadara," Was Sara's response. "These people are not flourishing under Sloane's control and most of them regret the fact they even had revolted in the first place. We were late!" Sara stressed. "We were late and those people lost hope. So it is up to us to fix that." She sighed. "And if it means I need to be nice to 'Her Highness', damn it, I will play nice."
Liam snorted before he quickly covered it up but not before he saw everyone look in his direction. Sara merely arched an eyebrow at him, her dark green eyes challenging him.
"I think you can play nice when you want to," Liam remarked, keeping his tone casual.
"Really?" she asked, placing her hands on her hips. There was a glint to her eyes and the distance between them somehow deepened.
And he is not even sure how the distance even came about in the first place. All he knows since they landed on Kadara, they didn't work well as they used to.
Privately, he wondered if it was because of the obvious attraction Reyes had for Sara, and how she seemed to response in such.
Damn it, he swore he wasn't going to become the clingy boyfriend, that was something she didn't need. They were friends, pure and simple.
Liam came out of his thoughts to see Sara had turned her gaze to Cora, nervously running a hand through her hair, remembering what it was like to have his hands running through those dark locks.
And he mentally kicked himself. He did not need that issue right now.
"Look," Liam stood up and walked over to the center, placing his hands on the table. "You can do this," he looked straight at her and she looked at him, startled, "You have gotten us this far, now you just needs to trust yourself that you can get yourself further."
She slowly nodded before a soft smile crossed her face and for a moment â just that moment â it felt like they mended their bridge.
"So you go out there, and you play nice-" Liam stopped short when he realized he was looking at her in the eyes rather than down and frowned. "How are you-" he gestured with his hands.
Sara's smile broadened as she started walking around the table, clicking coming from her shoes before he spotted the shiny black heeled shoes she wore â spiked heels, to be exact â and swallowed.
"Vetra was also able to help find these shoes too," she informed him. "Like them?" She asked, displaying her shoes. Like them? He didn't think there was a word to explain how much he really liked those shoes, especially on her.
"They could be very useful as a weapon, don't you think? I could always stab someone with the heels."
"No Sara," both he and SAM intoned, making her pout â cutely â while Peebee laughed, hopping to sit up on the counter, ignoring Cora's indignant swats.
"Maybe you should stop teasing them before they decide to ground you," Peebee warned her.
"It could work," agreed Sara before a grin flitted across her face, "Could you imagine Reyes' face if I were to tell him that I was grounded and thus was unable to be his 'plus one' tonight?"
"Again, if you really do not wish to go, why are you going?" Jaal sounded so exasperated that Liam had to feel sorry for him. Sara merely sighed before she shook her head.
"It's alright, Jaal, I'm leaving," she walked by Liam and he caught a scent coming from her that he did not know and realized she was wearing perfume.
He frowned softly. For someone who claimed to hate Reyes, she seemed to be going out of her way to dress up and jealously coiled in his stomach as a result.
"So," her voice broke into his thoughts and he looked to see she was looking at him with unreadable eyes, "I better get going."
"Yeah," He nodded, "Have a good night."
That glint in her eyes showed again before she shook her head and spun around on her heels, walking away.
His eyes dropped down to take in the arch of her back, thanks to her heels and showing off her shapely ass.
"I will get SAM to let you know if I need to be bailed out tonight," Sara told him without a backward glance, giving them a wave before she exited the ship, leaving behind a group part amused and part worried.
"She wouldn't really get arrested, would she?" Cora asked, sounding unsure.
"Don't worry," Drack spoke up with a laugh in his tone, "If she gets arrested, I'll bail her out." With that, the old Krogan made his way into the lift, obviously making his way down to the gallery.
The others slowly filtered out, leaving Liam alone with his thoughts and he wondered if he was ever going to stop screwing things up.
"You know," Peebee's voice made him look at her and she winked at him, "Jealously is not a good look on you." She walked away, leaving Liam staring after her before he sighed, raking his hand through his hair.
No, jealously was not a good look on him.
Liam made his way to his room; he needed a vid, and a couple of beers, in order to put this out of his mind.
He wasn't sure how long he had been watching â alternating looking at his data pad â the vid when SAM came to life, having gone silent while Sara was off the ship.
"Liam, Sara is back from her date," SAM informed him and he rolled his eyes.
"You don't need to keep me updated on her, you know?"
"She is coming your way."
"What?" he bolted up from his couch.
"And she is swaying unsteadily on the catwalk. She even gave Kallo a fright as she entered, announcing she was home."
That made Liam snicker for a moment before he rolled his eyes. Was SAM playing matchmaker or something?
A knock on the door made him realize that Sara had made it to his door and a brief panic surged through him before he forced himself to take a deep breath and headed over to it.
With a swipe of his omni-tool, the door beeped, unlocking, to reveal the Pathfinder on the other side of the door, gazing at him with those green eyes.
"Hey!" He forced a smile onto his face, "How was the party?"
She merely stepped forward, making him step backward, her scent threatening to intoxicate him.
She grabbed his top, pulling him in for a kiss, making his eyebrows shoot up before he groaned, sliding his hands around her waist, and pushing her up against the door.
She moaned appreciatively and it sent a jolt to his groin before she purred into his mouth, rubbing herself against him. Painfully, it reminded him just how long it had been since they last had been together.
Her hands slid upward so her arms wrapped themselves around his neck. Her shoes made her the perfect height. Not that he didn't mind when she would have to reach up on tiptoes, he really liked it when she had to go up on tiptoes.
Sara broke the kiss to breathe when he smelt the alcohol on her breath and warning bells went off in his head.
She pulled him back down for another deep kiss, making his eyes roll up into the back of his head as he nearly gave in but found the strength.
"Whoa, Sara," he pulled away, "Listen, you're drunk-"
"You are a jerk!" She pushed at his chest. "I got dressed up! I'm in freaking high heels â heels that threatened to break my ankles â and you couldn't even say I looked nice?"
A sob hiccuped from her, making Liam stop before he looked down at her face to see her eyes were slightly glassy but there was no cloudiness.
She was not drunk.
Liam did not know whether to laugh in relief that he was not taking advantage of someone who was drunk or to yell at her.
"Liam?" her voice brought him back into looking down at her to see she looked lost and he wondered, maybe there was two sides to the bridge after all.
He sighed, his hand running through her dark hair before he leaned in, resting their foreheads together.
"We were stupid," he told her wryly, with a smile. She huffed.
"You stopped touching me," she pointed out. "When we arrived, you⊠you pulled away." She sighed. "And I let you because it was easier than to confront you."
There was something in that tone, and Cora's words about how her previous relationships were nothing to write home made him wonder just what was in her past for her to believe that.
"I'm sorry," he told her.
"I'm sorry too," she told him, a hand brushing back her bangs, "Especially for ambushing you like that." Her eyes flitted to the side briefly.
"No, no," he cleared his throat, "No need to apologize for the ambushing, ever." She bit her lower lip, a sure sign she was embarrassed. "Look, shall we sit?"
It awkward, this was awkward and Liam felt like hitting himself up the side of his head as he tried to untangle his tongue.
"That would be great," at least she seemed as nervous as he did as they both made their way over to the couch.
"Here," he grabbed another beer from the box and handed it to her, then took it back before she could grasp it, twisted off the lid then handed it back to her with a sheepish grin.
Sara merely giggled as she took the beer and took a gulp.
"So, how was the date?" he asked before he nearly swallowed his tongue at the sight of her green eyes blazing furiously at him over the rim of her beer. He really needed to sort his tongue out.
"It was not a date, Kosta," she warned him firmly, "Reyes is up to something and he using me for that end." Liam frowned. "Besides, I got to punch him." He choked on his breath as he spluttered, staring at her dumbfounded.
"You what?" he was hearing things.
"I punched him," she repeated. Nope, he was not hearing things after all. She really had punched Reyes.
"IâŠwhy?" he shook his head and she smiled.
"As a distraction," she informed him. "You see, I was his 'Plus-One' so he could ransack Sloane's private storage room. Something about a bottle of Whiskey," she waved her hand dismissively, "and one of Sloane's guards was walking in so I punched him to make it seem like he had drank too much."
She was entirely too gleeful over the fact she got to punch him, something to puzzle over later, he gathered, as she shifted, placing her beer on the table, so she was now straddling him with that glint in her eyes.
"So, I noticed you like my heels," good god, was that a purr in her voice?
"They are nice," was that really his voice breaking? What, was he was a teenager again? Then again, she had been making him feel like a teenager every time they spent time together.
"Or the way my top shows off my ass?" she leaned in closer and he swallowed, his hands on her waist. Had he been that obvious? "Or maybe my perfume?"
There was that heady scent again, her lips brushed against his. Then it dawned on him as he pulled his head away to look at her with wide eyes.
Sara frowned as she leaned back on her knees.
"Is this all for me?" he asked, needing to be sure he was right.
"Yes?" she sounded confused, that little crease in her forehead, "Like I said, you stopped touching me so I kind of wanted to show what you were missing."
Liam stared at her before he laughed a full belly laugh as his head fell back onto the head of the couch.
"Liam!" she gently pushed at his shoulder, coming out as a whine that only made him laugh harder before he managed to bring his head down, trying to calm his laughter. "What is so funny?"
Liam managed to get his laughter under control before he sighed as he stared at her.
Honesty was the best policy, wasn't it?
"I thought you got dressed up for Reyes," he told her simply. Her nose scrunched up as she sat on his knees before she groaned.
"Really?" she looked so bewildered that he tried to hide his smile. "Why?"
"You two seem to get along, and he seems to be interested in you."
She looked even more confused, and then understanding seemed to dawn on her.
"Is that why you pulled away, because he was flirting with me?" She shook her head, "You were giving me an out!"
"Well IâŠ" he stumbled for an answer, unable to find something to refute her statement before he frowned. Had he been trying to give her an out?
"Liam!" Sara sighed before she shook her head then cupped his cheeks. "If I was genuinely interested in someone else, not Reyes â never him â I would break things off with you before I did that. I would never string you along like that, ever. You mean too much for me to do that to you."
Liam let out the breath he had been holding, giving her a wry smile and she rolled her eyes, shaking her head before she met his gaze once more. "You would do the same, right?"
Her hesitation cut through his heart and it just made him wonder once more about her past before he knew he had to assure her.
"It's just you, promise," He held up his right hand, "And if I do find someone else attractive-" which he ever doubted since she had captured his attention since they first met â "I would tell you."
Relief entered her eyes, briefly making him wonder once more about Cora's words when she leaned in and kissed him, cutting off his thoughts and his hands started roaming her back.
She pressed her upper body against his and he slipped his hands down her body, running them over her thighs before sliding under her top to touch her hot bare skin.
Sara let out a breathy moan, his hands skimming her sides until one reached just under her bra, his thumb rubbing the underside.
"No," she pulled away and shaking her head, "No teasing," her voice was part breathy, part warning, "You have been driving me crazier than both Sloane and Reyes put together. You are not drawing this out."
Liam blinked, surprised before he laughed. She never failed to surprise him and she started pushing up his top, her fingers brushing against his hot skin and making him jerk when she started kissing his neck.
They managed to get rid of his top and hers in the process, leaving revealing her white lace bra to him.
"Nice," he took in the sight and Sara rolled her eyes then stood up. Liam took the hint, unzipping his trousers and pushing off his shoes before he settled back in his boxers before he let out a pathetic whine of disapproval as Sara removed those heels.
"I'll wear them another time, right now, they are killing my heels," she told him before she stripped out of her leggings, showing off matching panties and he arched an eyebrow.
"Did Vetra find these?"
"No, I had them in my bag." She resettled on his lap. "It took a bit of time to dig through everything. I really do prefer matching underwear." She kissed him again, rubbing against him and making the blood pump further downward.
Damn it, she was passionate and giving when they were having alone time.
Sara grabbed one of his hands, moving it down further her body until he reached her panties. Understanding, he rubbed against the material, surprised to find they were already wet before he hooked a finger into the material, sliding it off to the side before he touched her.
"Really?" he asked, surprised.
Sara merely nodded as two of his fingers slid into her and she started moving on them. Her head fell back with a moan, especially when he brought his thumb up and slowly rubbed circles, making her gasp, arching her back.
He kissed her chest, following the cups of her bra to tease her before he reached her sternum and dropped gentle kisses, pressing his fingers in a way that made her hands clutch his hair.
He liked it when she would clutch at his hair, tugging it to the point it was nearly painful but just enough to turn him on even more. He never thought he had a hair kink, apparently he did.
And so did she.
He used his free hand, not between her legs, to flip open her bra clasp and it loosen from her chest.
She pulled her hands away from his hair and chucked it from her body, her hands going to his shoulders as he took a nipple into his mouth, getting a gasp from her as she bucked into his hand.
"Hmm, I need more," she pulled his hand away from her, her other hand dipping down past the band of his boxers and she grasped him, gently tugging and he groaned.
He shifted his hips, pulled down his boxers to his knees before she adjusted, aligning them, and sunk down on him. Her lips parted in a gasp as he hilted and her head fell backward. His hands slid up her back before she started moving, she brought her head forward and met his gaze.
Damn it, he had missed this. He missed being with her.
"Liam," her voice broke him out of his thoughts to see her panting as she moved faster, harder, on him. He could tell she was close but he wanted to draw it out.
One arm wrapped around her waist, pulling her further into his body, getting a pleased purr as a result, the other hand slid up her back until he cupped the back of her neck, his fingers tangling in her hair, he tugged, gently, to expose her neck, and he kissed it.
Sara gasped, grinding down harder on him as a result.
Liam shifted his hips, meeting her speed. She fell forward, one hand going to the back of the couch, the other buried into his hair.
His lips reached her collarbone and he sucked, hard, before flicking his tongue over the mark he made, her breath hitching before one of his hands slid down between them, pressing and rubbing that spot that always made her shudder.
"Liam!" her hands curled into the material of the couch, her head fell forward, pressing their foreheads together as she fought to breathe as her body stiffened above him before she gasped.
Liam groaned as she fluttered around him, giving that last push he needed before he gripped her hips tight, holding her close before he kissed her chin.
Boneless, Liam sank back against the couch and she slumped against him, her face in his neck as she breathed heavily.
"That was good," he told her lamely. Sara stiffened in his arms for a brief moment before her shoulders shook and she started laughing.
Her laugher was infectious and before he knew it, he was laughing along with her, holding her close. It felt good to laugh again, especially after everything they had seen and done.
The distance was no longer there, he felt closer to her than before and she seemed to feel the same as she lifted her head up to meet his gaze with green eyes alit with happiness, the smile seems to fill her from within and it astounded him.
"That was probably because we stayed away," she told him, pushing back her sweat-soaked messy hair out of her face before her smile turned softer but no less bright. "Let'sâŠ" she sighed and gave him a soft kiss, "Keep talking, and no more pulling away."
He smiled, wondering if he was too far gone for her.
And knowing him, he probably was and he didn't even care.

Cherik High School AU
You both like Cherik.
You: [High school AU!- Charles is student ambassador for exchange students at his school, known for his sweet, charming disposition, as well as having been an exchange student himself before. This year, the student is Erik Lehnsherr from Germany- tall, handsome, and utterly infuriating. Still, Charles tries to his best to make friends with the standoffish boy, exchanging numbers with him and trying to check in. Please take Erik!] Hullo, Erik! How's your first week been thus far? CX
Stranger: [delay] Hi. It's been alright, just fine. -EL
You: Good! That's great to hear! CX I know you weren't particularly interested, but I really do encourage you to check out our clubs. It'll help immensely with getting settled in, help you meet people... CX Although, of course, you always have me! CX
Stranger: Perhaps I will, in a bit. Later. What clubs are there now again? -EL I've met a lot of people already, mostly introductions but still. -EL And yes, there's you too. -EL
You: There are quite a few; various sports and activities, depending on what you like. CX For example; I'm part of the debate team...and vice-president of the Chess club. Both of which are looking for members, if you're interested. CX That's good then! Very good. As soon as you get settled in a bit more, I won't need to bother you each week as much; just a few check-ins here and there. CX
Stranger: I'll probably check out the sport teams and clubs then. There was swimming, wasn't there? -EL I do like chess... Might check out that one as well. Thanks. -EL I don't really mind the check-ins. -EL
You: There is! Our swim club's actually got quite a reputation...I'm sure you'll fit in swimmingly. CX ...Bad pun. Anyway- excellent! We'd love to see you there. Our President is...a bit of a tosser, if I'm honest, but undeniably good. Perhaps you'll give him a run for his money? CX [delay] ...really? I rather...got the impression you weren't too pleased with them. That's good, then. CX I do hate to be a nuisance. CX
Stranger: I'll check it out on Monday then. -EL Are there any specific days or times? Who is the president? And maybe, after a while. -EL You're not a nuisance, I promise. I'm just a bit...aloof while getting used to things. Not a fan of change. -EL
You: Chess club meets Wednesdays, after school, for an hour, sometimes two if we're getting ready for competitions. CX Sebastian Shaw is our president. He's...a bit arrogant? But undeniably good. Although if we're honest... CX I can understand that. I was lucky enough that my sister- Raven, she's a year under us- came with me, but...it's certainly not easy. Americans have a very different outlook on certain things. CX I suppose that's why I've been eager to volunteer in this programme. If I can help make the transition easier...well, that's all that matters. :) CX
Stranger: Wednesday, at least an hour, got it. You compete, really? -EL If we are being honest, what? And why do I recognise that name, Sebastian Shaw? -EL You have a sister, that's nice, I can see the comfort in that. w
Stranger: Wednesday, at least an hour, got it. You compete, really? -EL If we are being honest, what? And why do I recognise that name, Sebastian Shaw? -EL You have a sister, that's nice, I can see the comfort in that. Don't have any siblings myself. I lived in England for a bit before, but this? Not even on the same level. Americans have a different outlook on everything. -EL Actually, I think you did the right thing then. I'm not the most social person, but I can see others really appreciating it. -EL
You: We do. A couple of trophies under our belt, actually! CX ...Nothing. It's not important, haha. As for why you recognize it- probably because he ranked top in the national high school chess league a couple of years ago. You'll inevitably hear about it if you join us. CX I do! Raven, she's pretty fantastic, if definitely a pain in the arse from time to time. I think it's a siblings thing, though- and I suppose I can be an arse myself. Ah well. CX ...Thank you, Erik. I appreciate that. But- oh! Can I ask where you lived? We're from Manchester- Well, technically, I was born in New York, but our family home's in Manchester. CX
Stranger: That's quite impressive, we didn't have a chess club at my school in Germany. -EL Possibly, that could be it, yeah. He's one of those who brag, isn't he? Can never stand those. -EL Definitely a sibling thing, at least from what I've heard and gathered. The whole unconditional love but still ever-present hatred? Sibling thing, doesn't happen anywhere else. -EL No worries, Charles. And we had a place in central London, still do. Knightbridge, I think the area was called? -EL [âŠ] I have a question, I don't really know who to turn to? -EL
You: Ah! There was one at the academy I went to, but they weren't very good at all. CX Oh, you have no idea. Thankfully, he's a senior, so...we're all rather expecting him to participate a little less, what with all the senior activities. CX I've been to Knightbridge! I had a friend in that ĂĄrea, growing up- a Kurt Wagner? CX Turn to? For what, if I can ask? CX
Stranger: But a not so good one is better than nothing at all, at least. -EL I already dislike him and I have never met him. Huh. Though I tend to not like people in general, working on that. But he's a senior, that's good. -EL Sounds familiar actually. But I can't put a face to the name. Hmm. I'll look into that. -EL It's medical things. I need to fix my prescription. -EL
You: Very, very true. Which...if you'd like to practice, I wouldn't mind at all. CX It is good. A big relief to the club, if I'm being honest. As for not liking people, it's good you're working on it, though it really is up to you in the end. I tend to be the opposite- Raven says I'm simply naive. CX It'd be funny, if you did end up knowing him. Small world and all that. CX Oh! Well, we have a nurse in the school- It's not too late, he probably hasn't gone home yet. If you'd like, I can show you where to find him? CX
Stranger: I played a lot of chess back in Germany and England, either the people I was staying with or just about anyone. -EL If I'm right in who it is, I can understand the whole relief part. I'm working on it, thought I'd give it another try at least... You are very friendly but to strangers - I mean this in the best way - it can be a bit too much. -EL Very small world. -EL You have an actual nurse who is here at times they're supposed to? And yes, that'd be really great. -EL
You: I'd definitely love to play with you, then, if you're willing. It's been a while since I've played anyone who isn't in the club. CX Who it is? I'm afraid I don't follow, my friend. CX Oh...well, yes, I suppose. I apologize if I've made you uncomfortable at any point. I'll try to tone it down! CX Haha, I'm guessing you haven't had luck with medical personnel in your previous schools. Dr. Howlett's a bit...rough around the edges, but he's quite good. Although fair warning- He demands to be called 'Logan'. CX Alright! Meet me in front of the cafeterĂa- I'll be right there. CX
Stranger: I'm sure we can do that, I wouldn't mind at all. Never turn down an opportunity to play chess. -EL I was referring to Shaw. Since he's a senior and leaving, understand the relief. -EL It's alright, I wrote it down to over excitement, that you were one of those overly optimistic and always happy people. -EL When you say rough around the edges, what do you mean? -EL I'll be there, might take some time finding it. -EL
You: Excellent. We can probably borrow the club's set- We store it in Mr. Laufeyson's class, so let me know when you're feeling up to it. CX Right. That makes sense. CX ...Y'know, I'd protest that description, but Raven and most of my friends would probably agree with you, alas. CX Bit of a gruff tone and a no-nonsense manner. You'll see. CX Oh, goodness- Sorry, my friend. It's right in front of the quad, next to the building where you take American History with...Mr. Rogers, I think? It's got a big tree in front of it, can't miss it. CX
Stranger: That'd be great and I'll let you know. That's the tall, lanky guy, with quite long black hair, right? -EL Why do I have a feeling I'd get along so wonderfully with them? Or it could be that I'm simply just right. -EL Oh, good, I thought it was something actually bad. -EL I'm not that far away from the history classroom, just finished up English. Then I know where it is, thank you. -EL
You: Yup! That's him. Did you know he's Mr. Odinson's younger brother? CX Hmph. You probably would! Although you don't have to tease, you know. CX No, no, not at all! I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy his manner- you seem to like a more direct approach, right? CX Perfect! I've just left Chemistry with Dr. Banner. He's brilliant. CX
Stranger: He's nice, I like him. And really? They're related? What do they both teach now again? -EL ...I'm teasing you? How? -EL I'm sure I will, that or the grey area of 'don't really know you but you're not bad so, meh'. That is right though. Don't like dancing around a subject, for example. -EL Oh, yeah, he's good. I had chemistry a couple of days ago. Really nice. -EL
You: Odinson's World History and Laufeyson's Ethics, which...is questionable. Interesting though, I can't deny that. Odinson also coaches the football team, and Laufeyson supervises both debate and the GSA... CX About being right! Or...being playful. Sorry- I feel rather silly now. Feel free to ignore that. CX That makes sense. I suppose we'll see. I've got to drop off some books at the library, but it's right next door, so- if you beat me there, I'll be right by. CX He's brilliant. Between him and Mr. Stark, we've got one of the best science programmes in the state. It's...kind of why I transferred here, haha. cX
Stranger: I have ethics tomorrow, that is going to be fun. He caught me smoking, which apparently you're not allowed to do here... American football? -EL I am right though :) I am not going to ignore that, I'm not a fool. -EL Alright, sounds good to me. Have to go to the library later, right, should have done that. -EL Makes sense actually. My guardians just wanted to get rid of me for a while. -EL
You: Yes, well. There's no denying Laufeyson's brilliant. I'm curious to see what you think of him. And no- smoking's not allowed. You'll have to head off school grounds for that, I'm afraid. CX Yes, that's right. He has all the build for it, too. Although you'll always hear him grumbling that that school's lacking a hockey team. Apparently he and Mr. Laufeyson were born in Norway, and it's a big thing up there. CX Oh, well- I don't mind waiting for you, if you'd like. Logan's known to stay for a while anyway, and that way you can get both things done? CX ...I'm sorry. CX
Stranger: I'm probably going into a more civics based subject choices, I'm sure he's great. He didn't say anything about the smoking, only wanted one himself. So you can leave the school grounds? -EL Ugh, wrong kind of football... But I thought Sweden was the hockey crazy ones? They can Canada but oh well, perhaps it was Norway, same same. -EL Nah, you don't have to, I'll go back and do it. -EL Don't be. -EL
You: That's fascinating! I'm...well, I'm a bit of a nerd, I'm afraid. Biology, Genetics...that's the ticket, for me. And yes- as upperclassmen, We're allowed off school grounds for lunch, if we've got a car or bike. CX There is a regular football team, as well! I'm a rather big fan, which I suppose is very English of me, haha. And- I think it's a scandinavian thing, in general? I could be wrong though. CX Alright. Well- I'm almost done at the library, and I'll walk right over. I won't be long, promise! CX Charles pocketed his phone quickly, smiling at the old librarĂan as he took the bundle of books. "Thanks, Mr. Lee. I'll see you around!" He said cheerfully in lieu of a goodbye, holding the books to his chest as he walked out of the library. The sun was a bit lower in the sky, but it was still warm and sunny, and Charles took a deep content breath, brushing back a stray lock of hair as he crossed the quad and headed for the cafeterĂa. There were no posters hanging yet, though by the end of the month they'd undoubtedly be decorated with advertisements for Homecoming in a couple of months, and Charles made a mental note to bring it up to Emma at the next student council meeting. He rolled his eyes, knowing Shaw would undoubtedly do his best to shoot down any idea he proposed- he still hadn't quite forgiven Charles for beating him yet again in the national ranking.
Stranger: English had, well, passed along rather slowly. The class was reading some book Erik read ages ago, which he vaguely remembered, at least that was something. But with book and some papers folded neatly together in hand, he walked out of the classroom after staying behind some extra minutes of talking over details of both course and personal matter alike. Technically, he was done for the day now, he only had to return the books he borrowed for the first part of the week and get the ones he needed for the rest couple of days before deciding what he wanted to study. Though he was already sure of that, sciences was fun and all but not really Erik's forte. Pocketing his phone and swinging his bag off of his shoulder to put down the book and papers, Erik glanced up and caught a sight of Charles. While he still had to recognise others, Charles was not one of them. "Hi," Erik greeted as he made his way over, swinging his bag over his shoulder again. "How was...chemistry?"
You: Erik wasn't there yet when Charles arrived, which was alright. He glanced at his phone- it was still pretty early- and resolved to wait, leaning comfortably against one of the pillars in front of the cafeterĂa. Erik-- that was certainly an interesting development. Charles had been under the impression the other boy did not like him on their first meeting, thanks to the one-word answers and the frown that never left his face, no matter how friendly he tried to be- but as it turned out, Erik was...alright. Pleased at the positive outcome, he smiled as he spotted the boy in question exiting the building across and making his way over, bag casually slung over one shoulder and...well. Looking unfairly attractive, if Charles was being perfectly honest, not that he'd say anything. "Hullo." Charles smiled, pushing off the wall, books in one arm. "It was alright. Everything alright in English?"
Stranger: The stack of books in Charles' arms was not only impressive but looked almost ridiculous. Erik couldn't help but to chuckle at that, lifting the top one, a tick pocket of something that did not look remotely interesting... Humming in acknowledgement, he put it back gently as if he dropped all the books would go crashing down out of his friend's arms. "English was...quite boring. I read what we are supposed to be reading now two years ago or so?" Erik questioned nobody in general with a shrug and a sigh, shaking his head ever so slightly. Nor was he allowed to work ahead either. "Alright, anyway, nurse. Logan."
You: Charles raised an eyebrow as Erik lifted the book from the top of the stack, smirking slightly as he returned it quickly. "An Introduction to Genetic Mutations, Fifth edition. It's fun." He said with a shrug, clearly at ease with his peculiar interest. "Follow me?" He offered, and as they began to walk he frowned at Erik's complaint. "Hmm. That's not good- and I know for a fact the teacher in there is utterly impossible when it comes to Reading ahead." He said, chewing on his bottom lip thoughtfully. "How about- tomorrow, we'll head to the office? The student advisor might be able to move you up to Advanced or even AP English." Charles said, before smiling sheepishly as they stood in front of the door to the building they needed. "Sorry- d'you mind? Bit occupied." He laughed, still holding the stack carefully.
Stranger: "I'm afraid we have very different definitions of 'fun' when it comes to reading," Erik couldn't help but add, muttering the words as he shook his head ever so slightly once again. How anyone could find such a specific topic intersting to begin with but fun even? That was beyond him. But at the same time, it was highly impressive that he was not only able to understand it but also to read it without falling asleep! "Tomorrow works fine, yeah, I'm supposed to give my preliminary subject choices to them anyway, so, might as well do that while I'm there," Erik said and opened the door for Charles with a smile. "You can't multitask while holding books? Tsk tsk tsk," Erik teased, the corner of his lips tugged upwards into a faint smirk as he pulled out a neatly folded paper from his back pocket. "How do you have time reading all of that?"
You: "Perhaps." Charles grinned, shrugging as Erik looked at the stack warily. "Perfect. I'll wait for you in front of the office then, so it can be cleared up right away. Ms. McTaggert likes me, so I'll put in a good word for you." He winked. Laughing at the joke, Charles carefully stepped inside, turning to wait for Erik with a smile. "Thanks. As for my time-" He said, walking down the hall once more and turning as soon as needed. "I'm actually /quite/ good at multi-tasking. Every moment's an opportunity, after all. And...we're here, to the right." Charles said with a smile, carefully reaching up and knocking on the frosted glass. From inside the room a shuffle and a grumble was audible, the language -colorful- to say the least, before the door swung open and a large, very hairy man open the door with a frown. "Yeah, whaddaya wa- Oh. It's you." Logan said gruffy, arms crossing as he looked down at Xavier with a perpetually grumpy frown. "What've I said about carrying all those books? You're gonna break your back kid, and I sure as shi---/hell/ am not here as a masseuse." He groused, before turning to Erik, then Charles, shaking his head. "New Kid, Boyfriend, or both? Hurry up, I ain't got all day." Charles blushed a bit, coughing on his laugh. "Erik's new, Mr.How-Logan." He amended, smiling mildly. "And he needed to talk you about a medical issue?" Logan sighed, long suffering, before nodding. "Alright, alright. You guys are lucky I didn't fu- I mean, I decided to stay late. So don't get used to this, got it?" He huffed at Erik, before stepping aside to let them in. Charles shook his head, smiling apologetically at Erik. "I don't want to intrude, if it's private."
Stranger: Erik bit down on the inside of his cheek to keep himself from laughing and to appear at least somewhat presentable as the respectable person he liked to appear to be and want to be seen as. "He's right though, your back is going to snap in half," Erik added and turned to Charles with a thin lipped smile, still a hint of a real one underneath because it was all just so amusing. How this man, Logan as he preferred, could be a nurse went over his head, he did not seem like the type. Not at all. "If you don't mind waiting that'd be great, but you don't have to," Erik said, turned to face Charles, offering him a slight but genuine smile before he stepped inside the room. He'd be very glad if he chose to stay but knowing very well that it might not be possible. "I have prescriptions from back home that I need to be approved or something here," Erik began once the door was closed.
You: Rolling his eyes, Charles smirked. "I'm grateful for the concern." He said dryly, before clearing his throat. "I don't mind waiting, actually. Gives me time to put these away." He shrugged, and as soon as Erik and Logan stepped into the office he headed down the hall to his locker, storing half the books inside. The other half were coming home with him, including the book Erik had glanced at. Sitting outside the office, he opened it up and began to read, quickly getting lost in the subject. "Prescriptions?" Logan asked, still frowning but managing to look thoughtful simultaneously all the same. "Usually that stuff's handled by your parent or guardian, kid. However...You're Lehnsherr, right? Just got here from Germany?" For once Logan's voice was a little more gentle, though still gruff. "Alright, so here. I'm gonna give you these forms. You gotta present these to the office with the signatures of a parent or guardian, and as soon as they get that in the system I can have a backup of your meds here. In the meantime..." Logan grumbled as he opened drawers, mumbling what suspiciously sounded like, 'fucking stuffed with crap every time, shitty ass desk, gotta get an organizer or something-' under his breath before he produced the forms and a pad, on which he scribbled quickly and ripped off the page, handing it to Erik. "Here's a pass for the next week to use any time you need a break to take 'em, alright? But, if you abuse that kid, I -will- know." He levelled Erik with a threatening glare, holding it for a second, before sitting back. "But you look Smart, and if Xavier likes you, you can't be that bad." Logan shrugged, leaning back in his chair. "Is that it?"
