antheia  always  complained  to  her  sisters  about  the  general  lack  of  excitement  in  their  lives  —  it  wasn’t  that  she  was  unhappy,  just  .  .  .  bored,  sometimes.  she  could  only  daydream  about  the  stories  of  heroes  told  at  the  olympian  feasts  for  so  long  before  she  began  to  wish  for  her  own  adventures.

it  was  when  she  happened  upon  a  stranger  just  at  the  right  moment  that  she  nearly  ate  her  words.

their  anxiety  only  made  her  more  nervous,  enough  that  she  skittered  behind  the  tree  they  had  nearly  hit  their  head  against.  ❝  please,  i  promise  you’re  safe  here,  ❞  she  pleaded,  only  just  brave  enough  to  poke  her  head  around  the  trunk.  ❝  see  how  flowers  grow  beneath  the  place  your  head  once  lay  ?  ❞  it  took  a  sizable  mound  of  red  petals  to  cushion  their  fall,  physical  proof  that  she  meant  them  no  harm.  ❝  there’s  no  one  here  to  harm  you  .  .  .  i  certainly  won’t.  are  you  lost  here  ?  ❞  /  @00110000exe.
