FIVE HEADCANONS + AN AU / @coolhcnds​ !!

1. huan zhang takes a more traditional name than most in the spanning universe, most likely through her father’s need for human supremacy. she’s fascinated by hunter’s, though, and with how relevant it is to her lifestyle. on the off chance that she runs into hunter on a planet while doing definitely illegal pirate things, she jokes that hunter must be … HUNTING her. 

2. she’s shot at hunter more than once, fully aware of who she was before she drew the weapon. to huan, that’s more of a greeting than a simple ‘hello’; it’s how she met her employers anyway, what with her home planet being a hot spot for piracy. huan brings hunter back to varn once, never again, and doesn’t explain what she was doing sneaking off the ship during the night.

3. huan uses her vacations ( truly more like laying low time ) to catch up with hunter. if she can’t find hunter, there’s usually hell to pay when she finally does. if her friend ever ends up with a bounty on her head or with law enforcement on her ass, huan probably had something to do with it. 

4. there’s a time where huan invites hunter to KAMAR. everyone knows the history: the cult of varn, the disgusting bug species that make it up, and the irritation it caused to the people of her home. while she can appreciate their violence and awe over varn, it doesn’t keep her from hunting them for sport. whether or not hunter would approve, huan couldn’t say. she’d just be glad to have somewhat tolerable company on a FILTHY PLANET.

5. she has a personal ship, though it’s obvious enough that it’s stolen. she leaves it at hunter’s land for long periods of time, perfectly content should hunter end up taking the fall for it. she’s always wanted to bust someone out of prison, it’s a win regardless of what happens. this said, should any real, violent harm come hunter’s way, her arrival should be expected. so what if she keeps tabs on her friends? it’s for their safety, is her explanation when found out – that’s only really true with hunter.
