do yall remember that big fanfic trend a while ago that was like. peak domestic fluff. it would be like all the avengers or whatever just sitting around in a house hanging out. and everyone went crazy. that's what ghosts is. it's weird little guys hanging out in a house. for 5 seasons. and it rips. ghosts is like if you made a bottle episode a whole show. there really isnt a plot. it's genuinely just a dozen people hanging out and doing weird shit and being a family together. and it's the perfect show.

When I was young I read so many Naruto Peggy Sue fics. Like, so many. This was because they were, reliably, both long and gen. When you don't like shipping you read a lot of Peggy Sue fics. I think when you read so much of something for so long, especially if you're also a writer, you do end up forming opinions and having insights about it.

What I will say about 'time travel fix it' in You Call This A Utopia: when reading time-travel fix its, I never once cared about the original timeline. There's nothing to care about. The original timeline wasn't important. It's a bad timeline, we all died, the MC has PTSD, trauma abounds, let's Set Right What Once Went Wrong. There are always these short flashbacks and they were very skippable. Every doomed timeline was the same and it never mattered. It's like...who cares about the life the isekai'd person lived before this, right?

I do not explain the Plan Ruining Time Traveling Ghost. The Plan Ruining Time Traveling Ghost is not important. We do not know (much) about her timeline or what happened. We do not learn how Obito met her, what happened when he did, or what she said to him. It really just doesn't matter. If you're expecting it to matter, then don't, because it does not. It's not about all'a that. Obito might as well have fuckin', just, read Naruto.

There's a very big joke about this that I don't think is completely apparent yet so I won't say it. I think it's already implied, honestly. Why did she travel back in time? Wellllll......

So, yes, Utopia is kinda a time traveling fix-it, in the sense that Obito gained memories of the future and went "whoah! hope that never happens! anyway." and then goes and becomes insane differently. Hope that helps.

Hazuki hummed softly as he looked down upon his city with judging eyes. He was perched upon the Government Building, hands on his knees as to stabilize his balance.

He couldn't believe it - Shinjuku is finally repaired! It was...Sooner then he expected. But he wasn't to complain. Why would he complain? After all, he could feel himself become much more perked up. Much more like himself again.

If one thing is for sure though, it's that he probably doesn't need those beings around any longer. His City is okay now, he can protect himself just fine if needs be! Threats aren't much of a threat anymore...And they just hold him back. If it's up to him, they would all be gone by now!

But perhaps he could lead them on a little longer? He does like how it all feels, the attention. It might not all be good attention, but it's still attention. And it makes him feel special and different. Or perhaps he will keep them around as something to bounce back to if push comes to shove. He'll decide that later, but for now he'll let his body process it all. After all, it also felt like himself was rebuilt into a being that hasn't breathed in Centuries...

However. He cannot budge the metallic taste on his tongue at the thought of shrugging those losers away. Ack...gross! He could never care! He just hopes he can grow out of this weird....Thing. And quick.

Nasfel is the second-youngest of the family at 34 years old. He is a serial flirter, claiming that he's fluttering about looking for "the one" although he's aware that marrying for love is unlikely in his case.
