Calling Sarevok's character in BG3 "in name only" would be too generous.
#( Look how they massacred my boy )#( If there is one thing Sarevok would not be it's an abusive father. )#( If there's a second thing he wouldn't be it's a bhaalist. because he never was one. )#( I am forever going to be annoyed about this. )#( and I really don't care that he killed Gorion. Gorion lie about the mc's mother being a victim of rape and that she died in childbirth. )#( what a fucked up thing to lie about. the truth is actually less awful. that she was just a bhaalist priestess who willing had Bhaal's )#( child and was going to kill it - the player character. edit: and that Gorion killed her. )#( I just think it's worse to tell someone they're the product of rape and that they're mom died giving birth to them. when it's not true. )#( Anyways Sarevok gets a pass on killing Gorion. )#( Gorion lied. the letter he lives for his ward in BG1 is directly contradicted by the ghost of the characters mother - Alianna - in BG2. )#( anyways there's my rant on Gorion I guess. 😅 )
