HANA was born on March 15th, 1997 to two wealthy parents. Her father was a lawyer and her mother was a nurse. She grew up in a privileged neighborhood and attended an all-girls private school in Gangnam, South Korea. She had a good home life as both of her parents were able to make enough money to give her and her siblings anything they wanted. However, she does suffer from middle child syndrome and was often either made to take care of her younger siblings or ignored by her parents due to their many children and busy schedules. Despite this, Hana did not act out and kept to herself though at school, she didn’t make many friends except for Minji whom she met at the park one evening and they have been inseparable ever since. 

Hana’s story focuses on finding meaning in suffering and having to find one’s identity.
