joonmyeon is not at all adept at dating -- he’s had a few crushes here and there, sure, a few nervous meetings in cafes and cinemas with shaky hands, deep inhales and forced charisma, but not at all anything long-term or very successful. it’s painfully obvious to all of his friends, unfortunately, but most of them have seen the improbability of his success and turned away from taking the issue into their own hands.

but not eunha.

the girl had pitied joonmyeon, insisting to do something about his dried-up dating life. and so he finds himself seated at a reserved table in an unfamiliar restaurant, perspiring palms pressed to his slacks under the table. he had barely been able to wring a name from eunha -- silver, as had been ringing in his head incessantly, determined to not forget -- with no mention of age, personality... nothing. a tremble of nerves jitters his leg, foot tapping at the floor lightly but erratically as he waits, time seeming to slow with his anticipation.

his head perks up when he hears footsteps approach his table, sucking in a quiet breath before extending his hand with a cordial smile. her appearance is youthful and joonmyeon worries, actively telling himself to keep his lip free from his teeth, sure that eunha would be conscious of his age.  “silver? i’m kim joonmyeon. it’s a pleasure to meet you.”
