What's important is that Shadow is finally open to healing now. His stubborn ass wouldn't have listened to anyone else BUT Maria and now he can move forward with his found family with her wish in his heart forever.

I can't stop thinking about how the end of SXSG is going to open the the doors for Shadow to finally begin healing. As painful as it was, Shadow got something he's needed for so long. Closure.

He was able to see his family smiling and cheering for him one last time. This is especially important with Gerald because he was able to talk with him and see him while he was still lucid and not, you know, insane and fucking with his memories. He now knows for certain that his father loved him and was proud of him because he said it.

Not only that, but being able to talk with Maria again has given him a newfound resolution. He's letting go of that anger he's been holding onto for so long. The anger that's been destroying him from the inside out.

Now he can truly move on and find the happiness he so desperately deserves. Because Maria's wish isn't just giving everyone on the planet a chance to be happy, it's about giving HIMSELF that chance too.

So, Shadow's Doom Powers. Does he get to keep them?

The ending seems to imply not. Once Shadow defeats Black Doom, his wings fade away along with all other Doom influences. With Black Doom dead, Shadow can't draw energy and power away from him to manifest as his own anymore.

It's a shame he can't keep them, but they could change it in the future.

SO, I beat Shadow's story in SXSG and I just wanna say, without spoiling anything that it lives up to all the hype and THEN SOME. Like, I'm speechless, Shadow was written so perfectly and there's so much new lore and details to sink my teeth into.

My only 'complaint' is that it's a little short. You can beat the story in about 4/5 hours. But still, it was absolutely FANTASTIC. Shadow gang, this is some serious gourmet shit.

Shadow doesn't have any particular beef with Tails by the way. At the worst, he doesn't even see him as worth the effort so he tosses him aside.

Now, he doesn't really have much of an opinion of Tails because he doesn't know him very well. However, he does love the red scarf Tails gave him last Christmas. He gets points for that.

Okay, but I LOVE that the new manga isn't being shy about the gory details either, it straight up shows Shadow murdering these GUN soldiers for messing with Maria.

I went to see Beetlejuice Beetlejuice and I saw the Sonic 3 trailer on the big screen and I'm buzzing. I cannot WAIT until December.

I just finished S3 of Prime and while I enjoyed it, I found it a bit repetitive. To be honest, whenever Shadow wasn't on screen I was bored, but hyperfixation character go brrr. Shadow carried the whole thing on his BACK by finally being written well.
