SUBVERSION (part 2).

    ≪✿≫ TO SAY THAT he was a little overwhelmed as he became entirely aware of the situation… would be an understatement. From the moment those ALARMS had gone off, and the message was played, he was confused. He felt like he’d been dreaming. He felt like he’d just woken up from something. He felt, for lack of better words, lost.

      Those memories – his own, yet not quite his – lingered just behind his eyes. A haze which had settled onto his brain.

      It was LIKE waking up from a dream. It was similar. Foreign. Yet familiar. But? What he was sure of… was that he was amongst those whose “DREAM” he’d shared. Whom had formed something of a family, somehow – “Let me be the first to break the silence.” Fionn starts, the blond attempting to gain some control over the situation that had been put in front of him. Those memories… they weren’t quite his. Yet they made him hazy. Confused. “I’m assuming you both heard the same message I did, then? That we have duplicates that must be handled? Before… the… ah, virus settles in?” He was asking the two of them for clarification. This island had done stranger things then manipulate sound before – so? There was a chance they could have heard different things. And? Frankly, he didn’t want to start out this already unusual misadventure with a misunderstanding.

      “What say you? Do you trust what the voice said in the message?”

      It was odd – extremely so – looking at the two of them right now. The young woman who’d become something of an apprentice of his (an apparent daughter to his counterpart) and his oldest friend. Whose relationship with his counterpart… wasn’t something he even wished to ponder at this moment. This was complicated enough without that added complication. “And if you do, what would you do about it? Dia –“ For a moment, he pauses – confusion in his eyes, “Diarmuid. Momo? Your opinions, please?”
