writer's block is so dangerous when youre obsessed with a novel from the 40s nobody else liked

editor's note: i'm not obsessed it took me a calendar year to get through the 250 page book

editor's note 2: i'm impulse buying the sequel that probably doesn't even have the characters i like in it because i couldn't find a pdf and my novelty-seeking brain went CRAZY over that. also its only like $9. it'll be good for the economy

#its either this or start an ao3 tag. which i still might end up doing. desperate times.#the way i see it is that i could in theory scan this one and put it on internet archive. sooo when you think about it its actually a great #and noble thing to do #'why dont you just read howard spring's better and more popular and more accessible works' 'or literally any of the other books you own'#great ideas! i will not be doing that <3
