Game balance? Non existent when you have a demigod on your side.
Aka me quaking about how absolutely busted the foreseer outfit is.
So yea I unlocked Zayne's Foreseer outfit because I was lucky enough to pull one of the cards you need to unlock it and then just got the other one through the selector. I was pretty happy because I read the skill description on the outfit and it seemed pretty cracked.
Fucking read this shit. Not only does his offensive skills scale on atk and defense, his ult scales on combined atk and defense? What are we combining? The two solar cards? The solar and lunar cards? I don't know! Did I mention his starting pair bonus increases the damage of 'eternal sin' by another 20%?
Let's do some math now, shall we? Assuming we're only combining the atk and def of 'Promise Everlasting' and 'Forever Sealed', the two solar cards that you need to unlock this outfit in the first place, at levels 32 and 27, respectively plus some r-rank protocore boosts his ult will do a little over 19 thousand damage without the damage increase you get from matching stellacrum.
The staff it unlocks is also really powerful because it allows you to do things like use your basic attack when you dodge, deal DoT (damage over time), and also max out combo damage at 288 + 154% atk + 609% def. Also for some reason one of its categories is 'heal'? Even though it does not have any healing whatsoever which is really funny because I see it as "you can't get hurt if the enemy disintegrates!"
If you don't understand how powerful that is, this is the team I 3-stared pumpkin magus 6 with.
And I only needed to ult once. It's insane.
The cherry on top? Zayne's the only one who gets such a busted outfit. I don't have Rafayel or Xavier's myth outfit because god bless gacha but after reading through all the skills in the overview menu, it doesn't seem as obviously broken as Zayne's? At least they don't get multipliers over 1000% and the attacks don't scale off two stats. Rafayel does inflict burn and Xavier can buff himself and you so it's not like they're completely high and dry.

[ Directional Orbit ] Fire - Stage 110 Clear VOD
I cleared Rafayel's Directional Orbit: Fire - Stage 110 yesterday, 05/15, in the most unorthodox way possible; more details about that below. For now I want to give an overview of this stage for those who have yet to reach this far. Stage 110 requires two teams. The Protofield Stellactrum for Team 01 is 6-Pearl memories and for Team 02 its 6-Violet memories. By having a perfect match with the colors for the Protofield Stellactrum your < Resonance Skill > can break 2 Protocore Shield Layers in a single strike and increase DMG to weakened by 100%. For every matched Stellactrum you'll receive an attribute bonus that increase DMG Boost by 5.0% and DMG Reduction by 5.0% (up to 30%). I want to reiterate that there is no right or wrong way to play the game. You should use whatever you have available to you. My game play will differ from yours, but I still wanted to share my experiences and offer tips for the trials. Oh boy... how long was I stuck on this stage? The earliest post referenced was recorded on 04/24 so it's been three weeks. Within that time a LOT of resources were invested into my Violet and Pearl builds. This includes leveling up memories, farming protocores, and leveling up said protocores. I wrote a lot of entries about those upgrades, but you can find them all under my #directional orbit fire tag. I have countless hours of game play footage, showcasing my attempts to figure out what worked for me and how could I improve. Even in my clear video you can see where I had to cut my failed attempts out as I was constantly restarting the second half. It's a satisfying feeling to see how far I was able to progress. Unfortunately I don't have an updated screenshot of the final team set up in the overview page. However, the only difference would be switching the solar pairs. Team 01 will use the Violet solars [Deep Sea Riches] and [Deep Sea Promise] and Team 02 will use the Pearl solars [Temple's Promise] and [Temple's Sunset]. No other changes were made; all of the lunar memories remained the same. Team 01
After switching things up a bit I went into the first half of the fight with Abysswalker Companion using Phantasma Sands. Previously I was able to auto battle this part without any issues. Having a perfect match meant my resonance skill was able to break 2 protocore shields in a single strike, making it easier for me to bring those wanderers to a weakened state faster. However because I opted to go off colors it took me a while longer where I had to manually play. At first I was struggling clear the fight. There were many attempts with me timing out and the wanderers had around 1 and a half or less HP left. I didn't feel like leveling up [Myths] any higher than lv 40 cause I wanted to save leveling resources for Zayne lol... This is when I decided to use more core energy resources to build up my protocores. I used up 20000 core energy exp to level up a pearl delta (CRIT rate) to +12 and another 20000 core energy exp to level up a pearl beta (Expedited Energy Boost) to +12. I don't remember how much gold I spent on the top of my head, but it was still a decent amount invested. Yanno, even with the core upgrade I still died a lot and failed right after LOL. I don't remember which one of the two wanderer types that puts a ticking debuff on you to take damage, but they stack and your HP will DROP without realizing it. Pretty sure it's a reflective damage from the one that has a shield around it. So every time I was attacking it I was also kms... 🫠 Thanks InFold. So yeah, I would try to be a bit mindful about what you're attacking. If they have a shield up that's doing that you can usually dispel it with interrupts/charged attack or bringing them into a weakened state with resonance skill. I love Abysswalker's kit because it groups them up so nicely before Sharky comes and bites them.
Team 02
The suggestion to use God of the Tides companion for he second half and keeping his lunars the same came up in a conversation I had with a friend after a talking about my meme of a run for open orbit - stage 120 (you can read more about that here). After being stuck on this half for over 3 weeks you'll try anything with hopes that it'll actually work. I had zero expectations on how it was gonna turn out but fortunately for me it did well after a handful of failed attempts! Prior to my clear run I tapped a violet delta core (CRIT rate) from +9 to +12 that had HP bonus as one of it's substat. God of the Tides is an HP talent memory so I wanted to make the most of it by having that extra bit of stats to make up for missing 10% attribute bonuses. I was already focused on increasing my CRIT for this build, but I wasn't sure if I wanted to commit to upgrading this specific protocore. Upgrades are expensive y'all. The stats before weren't as ideal imo which is why I was hesitant before taking the gamble to roll HP bonus %. I know my clear vod made it look easy but what really happened is that I somehow managed to crit harder during this run compared to all my failed attempts earlier (╥ᆺ╥;) CRIT rate is king, especially if you plan on ignoring the Protofield Stellactrum by going off colors to try and brute force things.

Fire Orbit 90 stats with Artist Raf! Finally… First fight ezpz, second fight is where the real trouble is. This took many tries and many resources.
Footage and notes to follow, and I'll share my protocores too (had to max out a lot of them) because this is by far the hardest boss stage I've had to do in orbits.

Fight notes: 2 oaths used. Crit rate close to 50%, after that stacked as much dmg to weakened as I could. Luminivore locks up twice - once at 3x HP, and another time at 2x HP, so on an underpowered loadout I couldn't afford to push the lock phases without a plan. What I ended up doing: - Get one resonance in before the first lock - Make sure that I hit the first oath as soon as I can at 1:04-1:05, to give me as much wiggle room for the second oath later on - Time the final shield break before the second lock - Bait an empowered support skill before the second lock so that I have 5 stacks of the damage buff at final shield break - very important Some more general tips: - Keep the boss's back against the wall to keep it from moving too far away when it backsteps - When it does the dash, dodge into it to stop/reduce its movement (thanks Sene for this tip!!) The general idea is to reduce the downtime from the lock phases as much as possible. The second lock lasts forever so it's important to be able to shred down the boss from 20% 2x HP to as low as possible. It can be a bit tricky to get the timing right, but if you use resonance at just a little to the right of the third shield diamond on the boss's HP bar, you should be good (thanks to ktflr, Isa, and Seira for their experiments on this!!). For my clear, I didn't end up timing the second oath with the final shield break, but it still worked out in the end.

This is one of my proudest clears! It's getting high up there in orbits and I still had no 5-star solar pairs, so it was challenging. I put a lot of effort into this clear, studying the fight and kept trying and trying to get the timing right - until I got it!!

[04/21] Deepspace Trials Progression
Another Sunday, another progressions report. This recap post will only focus on the directional orbits (light, ice and fire). My open orbit progression notes will be posted separately [here] since I already had one in the works this past Friday when I got to stage 120. With that said, my daily allotted key usages for today were as follows:
☆ Xavier : 3/3 - Stage 104 + 105 +106 cleared ☆ Zayne : 1/3 - Stage 107 cleared; currently stuck on 108 ☆ Rafayel : 3/3 - Stage 105 + 106 + 107 cleared
𝚇𝙰𝚅𝙸𝙴𝚁
These three stages for today were easy for me to clear while only using auto battle. The combat was straight forward with no real notable challenges aside from breaking the protofield shields, which could easily be completely shattered when matching the protofield stellactrum for the stage. 104: had no protofield stellactrum - used highest leveled memories 105: required 3 Emerald + 3 Amber 106: required 3 Emerald + 3 Amber
𝚉𝙰𝚈𝙽𝙴
107: had no protofield stellactrum - used highest level memories 108: required 5 Ruby + 1 Pearl
Presently I am stuck on stage 108, which is a 《 defeat frenzy wanderer 》 stage that requires 5-Ruby memories + 1-Pearl memory to match the protofield Stellactrum. I've always struggled with this type of fight, even more so with Zayne due to me not having a fully ranked/leveled up [NT] solar memory pair. The last time I had to do this kind of stage with a similar protofield stellactrum was during Stage 89... and I mentioned in a previous post here how I opted to brute force that stage using my highest level memories. Did I tried this time as well? You betcha, but unlike that run I failed miserably this time AHh a ha ; w ; I think it might be time for me to level up some of these memories...
Currently the recommend memories suggested are level 60 with a duo rank 1 memory pair bonus; [Starry Nocturne] fully ranked, but [Neon Night] only at rank 1. Recommended memory level for this stage is 80. Using this team set up I am struggling to do enough damage to the frenzy wanderer before it dissipate. So what can I do to improve? I think I'll prioritize getting his Ruby lunars to level 80 - starting with [Cozy Afternoon] as that is fully ranked, and then seeing if I need to level up anymore. It takes a lot of time and resources in game to fully level up these memories with ascension crystals, bottle of wishes, and gold. I am apprehensive to level up his 4-star Ruby solar pair at this time. I've been hearing in various LnD community platforms that the next big limited-time banner will be Zayne's myth pair sometime in late May? I don't have a source for this to confirm it myself, but if it is then that's all the more reason for me not to if it's anything like Rafayel's this past banner.

For these three stages I opted to use God of the Tides to match the protofield stellactrum. This memory pair is duo rank 2, which is more than my Abysswalker build (that only has the starting effect memory pair bonus). This made it easier for me to auto battle. None of these trials had any notable combat mechanics aside from breaking the protofield shields, which could easily be completely shattered in one strike by having a perfect match to the protofield stellactrum. 105: requires 3 Violet + 3 Pearl 106: requires 3 Violet + 3 Pearl 107: had no protofield stellactrum - used highest leveled memories

[02/26 - 03/10] SHC season notes
doing a quick run through to see how far i can prog with auto battle using the memories and protocores i currently have equipped. a clear before the timer runs out will still reward me with 20 diamonds even if i don't earn a medal from the round. i'll see what i can do to improve on since there's 13 days left in this season.
first run through: 13/36 ; 200 from diamonds from medal reward + 180 from round clear rewards + 1x energy capsule: vigorou (60 stamina). not bad at all.
[02/26] (5/12) Ngl I wish I had Fluffy Trap to use instead of me using A Day of Snow... 97 shards away from purchasing the 5-star from the wishing well exchange and the urge to pull more just to snag it before it falls out of the monthly rotation is high, but I will exercise some restraint for now. I might consider it if they introduce a new limited time banner.
[02/27] I ended up snagging Fluffy Trap from the shop. My perma banner gave me another copy of his Lightseeking Obsession, so that is now at Rank 2. I was praying to get Rafayels myth but at least it was a myth card instead of something else.

[02/26] (6/12) I can totes 3 medal R1, maybe R2 as well-- just need to manually fight the battle. Can probably cheese R3 into a 3 medal since clear requirement is HP based. I might be able to 1medal R4? It's not high on my priority considering resources for that will be super duper expensive. update: (9/12) LET'S FREAKIN GO! Managed to all medal R1-R3!

[02/26] (2/12) My violet/pearl memories are always so behind >.< R1 I could probably 3medal. Can def earn at least 1 medal in R2 -- just need to group them together for the aoe dmg. I don't think I have enough dmg rn to clear R3 and bc of that I can't even get into R4. Will probably be throwing my resources into this. Need to cook more on that.

[03/04]Rafayel’s Deep Sea Promise came home. [03/08] As of writing this, there are 2 days and 10 hours left. I don’t think I will be progressing any further than what I currently have since I’ve been throwing all my of my resources into leveling up Rafayel’s solar myth pairs to level 70. It’s expensive stamina wise so it’ll be difficult for me to level any lunar memories.
Since my last update I managed to clear additional stages for Team A (Xavier’s Emerald/Amber) and Team C (Rafayel’s Violet/Pearl). Here’s the breakdown of my progress.

[2024/06] Collection Progress
At last, the month of June has come to an end. This collection progress is a week late from when I originally wanted to post it, but it is what it is -- life happens.
There were two big limited-time wish banners that lasted roughly two weeks during this month that introduced new memories to the collection: Zayne's Trace of Divinity and a triple banner Entwined Shadows. There was also a 10 Days With You login event. Of course, to keep up with my 100% collection I participated in all of these. Not sure if I'll be able to say I 100% everything again once Sylus' collection is added into the game, but for now I am very fortunate to have been able to reach this feat.
Below is the breakdown of new memories added into the game.
𝔁𝒂𝒗𝒊𝒆𝒓
This 10 Days With You login event was for Xavier's [Lost Signal] memory, which was easy enough to obtain since all I had to do was log into the game and collect the daily login rewards. He was also apart of the Entwined Shadows banner. While I was attempting to pull his [21 Days] memory I lost the 50/50 to a dupe Zayne's [Snowy Serenity] and ended up using the Affection Crate to select his memory after 200 wishes... Thank god for the Romantic Blessings rewards. I noticed there was a trend in his new memories this month where him and MC were fake dating for work. It was a bit awkward during the tender moments in [Lost Signal] but we finally got our first kiss in [21 Days] kindled!!

FINALLY! THE BANNER I HAVE LONG WAITED FOR! I already knew before any confirmed information was released about this myth pair I was going to R3 it... and true to my word I did, but at hefty cost. It took me 548 + 1 wish crate to fully rank out this solar pair. Out of all of the myth banners we've had Zayne required the most pulls. Do I regret it? Absolutely not. As a Zayne girly I was dedicated to the cause. His Snowfall solar pair hard carried me to clear his last Directional Orbit: Ice - Stage 120 fight (more on that can be read here). Actually GOAT'd. I really enjoyed his Yunshan's Charm event too. Over all, I couldn't have been more satisfied with the way his myth inspired event and limited-time wish banner turned out. We got to see a different side of him in another time line. It was bittersweet, but only made me appreciate him more. He deserves to be happy. And speaking of happiness, I truly cried when I saw Snowy Serenity's teaser showcase. We've gotten teased with kisses in previous memories with Zayne, like in [Drunken Intimacy] and [Heart Within Reach]. However those were always fade to black.. until now. [Snowy Serenity] is the first time where we actually got a full on kissing scene!! I could go on and on about this scene. The tension between him and MC... the desperation as their lips met... heck out of all of the kisses we've gotten from Entwined Shadows banner Zayne was the one that left me breathless.

Rafayel also got his first kissing scene during the Entwined Shadows limited-time banner with [Floral Promise]! Originally, my plan was to pull in the following order: Zayne, Xavier, and then Rafayel... in spite of that order this pouty baby said he wanted to be first-- making me lose the 50/50. Usually it sucks losing the soft pity but I wasn't even upset since I was going to pull for this memory regardless. I only found it silly to see him come home before anyone else.

On June 5th, I managed to complete both series at the same time which was kinda wild in its own right. Then on the same day, June 11th, Zayne completed [Superkitty] while Rafayel completed [Pawfait]. Overall, it was a very lucky month for us in terms of completing meow badge series!
