The reaction to the megamind spin-off is just proof most people rage-baiting on social media don't know what they're talking about and are not even invested
#they didn't know how to moderate their expectations and were unwilling to adjust once they saw what a typical dwtva show looks like#ok#and i say that while maintaining dwtva frequently looks good and is well animated. but not all the time!#ahkj and tpom have the benefit of being cartoony and unrealistic so their animation looks really good despite the limitations#but the downside to a megamind tv show has always been that if they try to copy the movie#it'll just look like a worse version of the movie#which people would have known from the start or easily learned if they actually were interested in it#like one of the drawbacks to megamind's memetic popularity#is now we got people commenting on a dwtva show that they really got no business even knowing it exists#'what happened to dreamworks?!' this has been happening unchanged and unremarked on for a decade#txt#dreamworks
