i've been privately quite nervous about shadow and bone season 2 due to some of the general bitching i saw in the tag but i'm so fucking thrilled by ep one that 1) i feel like i know EXACTLY what people were complaining about without even having arrived at the latter eps yet and 2) everything that i think is being bitched about is something i specifically love because the whole season was made specifically for me, personally, individually, because i love terrible bullshit. god bless. love and light

#most of the bitching ive seen has either been about a rush job (maybe fair; we'll see) or along the lines of #'waaaahhhhh the characters were DIFFERENT and made different CHOICES than they did in the books waaaaaaah'#'waaaaahhh i hate risk-taking and interesting storytelling and exploring the full potential of AU timelines waahhhhh'#'waaahhh i am little baby watch me cry'#and like. i'd be with u if i didn't like the alternate character decisions.
