nothing just two bitter ex-cops who still kind of suck but are nonetheless leagues more golden-hearted than the fucked up fascist organizations that they'd initially joined because they truly believed them to be righteous and that's what finally broke their spirits (as well as killed the people they cared about who also never should've been cops to begin with because they, too, genuinely believed in justice)
