#something that disproportionately irritates me when it is committed by western fans of an eastern franchise#'tehe this character is possessive and hoards because they are a dragon :)' thats the wrong type of dragon!!!!!#i get that its for smut purposes but the inaccuracy is too distracting. come on man#hey do yall remember the cartoon american dragon jake long. i didnt actively watch it i just saw it sometimes#halfway thru the run all the character designs changed and he went from being a western dragon to an eastern dragon. what was up with that#also i know the dad was white so was long the moms name or was the dad really coincidentally named long?? im not looking it up#if you think about it adjl and danny phantom are basically the same. guy who turns into a thing whose last name is the thing he turns into#i know im right bc i remember seeing crossover fanfic. the similarities are clearly evident
