#'sabi' means 'rust' btw

I was reading about swords (as one does) and in the section about practical details for the care and ownership of swords, there was a warning against trying to remove rust on your own.

First, because sword polishing is such a critical and delicate process that most swordsmiths don't even do this near-final step on a new blade; they send it to a specialist. Polishing really can make or break a sword forever.

Second, because sometimes rust actually makes a sword more valuable.

And my fangirl brain was like, "I miss Sabito."
