Blood.

He doesn't remember much. His brain is filled with holes and his blood calls for blood. But he remembers music. He remembers the emotions he felt, like a spark of magic igniting in his soul. He remembers bodies. He remembers the taste of iron in his mouth.

Listening to a familiar tune awakens just as much within him as being elbow deep in some poor bastard's ribcage. It's like there's two versions of himself battling to exist, and he doesn't know which one is really him. The Dark Urge, or Finch. Both? Neither? The gods only know.

But only one of those makes him really happy. The other fills him with disgust. He just doesn't know which it is.
