Rather proud of this self-portrait
#graahh i'm so happy with the expression and the posture#was rereading the second half of j3 and got to thinking about how i'm rather disappointingly normal#so to comfort myself i tried to think of things about me that don't really feel like they fit the mold#and then; after seeing all those cool- and wacky-looking aliens; i thought; 'what if i saw those things on an alien?'#'how far can i push and exaggerate those features while still being legible?'#so in a lot of ways; this is a caricature#it felt really freeing to pick out things that are abnormal or hateful about myself and lay it all out like this#((and for the record; that wonky left foot is purposeful. not only did one of my toes break and heal wrong-#-but another one of them is shorter than my pinky toe too))#my art
