they are both absolute monsters who committed crimes against humanity we don't even have names for. they magic-lobotomized a whole people&culture for the crime of "not wanting to be killed and have their blood stolen." they did this after inventing the crime of magic-lobotomy in the first place. any time you attempt to call them on this in the modern era, they immediately lash out and become obstinately defensive if not actually violent. they remain extremely bigoted, self-centered, and incapable of accountability. if they were ever wise and benevolent it must be in the art book somewhere because it's not anywhere in the games.
