all my merlin writing ideas are like 'elyan does not die at the tower but he is injured and as he recovers he decides he doesn't want to be a knight anymore and because arthur is a good friend beneath it all and not his father he grants him leave to retire and when he's up to it he gets the forge up and running again and all the knights still come to him for swords and he and percival have a handfasting' and shit like that . and the thing is i am so right every time

#this idea has a sequel idea called 'gwaine doesnt die in the last episode percival gets him back to gaius in time and he recovers'#'but nobody knows where arthur is and they never see him or merlin again and gwaine only ever really stuck with the knighthood thing #because he wanted to live up to a friend or two's expectations of him and now that time is over'#'so he quits too and gwen worries about him the way she doesnt worry about her brother anymore but he takes over the inn in the lower town'#'and he's a bit nicer to the customers than the old guy and percival has another handfasting (percival has two hands)'#and i'm SO right for that too #dont worry never fear i have these kinds of concepts for gwen and arthur and merlin and all them dudes #but the problem is ill never write them because there's next to no plot and i am simply not that kind of writer #slice of life is SO boring to actually write. that's why there's injuries in half of these. because then there's some spice #some conflict (man versus fear of death) (man versus harm to loved one) . some dare i say it . h slash c #merlin
