If I ever make a HD version of that game over sketch, I'll make it clear that the victims are in soul form/already dead probably; but literally hear me out- I really prefer that composition as compared to showing decapitated heads, bloody pegs, etc. because showing too much gore would be demeaning.

Like yeah, the data select thumbnails are pretty gorey but like, you wouldn't want the whole AU to be that. Also also, even in the data select, it wasn't really the gore which was supposed to be the main subject, it's the tragedy and how far the entity took it.

#also even though they're dead there is sort of implied emotion to support sympathy #like Jeremy who is leaned back and looks like he's permanently screaming #Phone Guy who looks like it took a while for him to kick the bucket-and is slumped over with a sad expression #probably accepting that it's too late to be saved #as it was probably very painful for the both of them-so that emotion will forever be captured on their faces #I feel like original EXE has no sympathy #which sure makes sense for the entity running the game but the narrative should be more than 'Think this sonic is cool or he'll kill you'#'Be afraid of Sonic OOOOOOOOHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'#You should want to help out these guys and be given a reason why
