Red bond 2:
here 2. episode
Tim was silently doing homework and listening to the voice behind him reading a book. He felt very safe with his back against Jason's back. He was quite short compared to him. But he was never afraid of him. On the contrary, he was one of the two people he trusted with his life. He knew that he would be safe and well with him. As Jason said, he had 0 instincts about protecting himself. That's why Jason was much more careful when taking care of him. Because Tim was very incompetent in taking care of himself. His gaze shifted to his arm in the sling fixed to his body, his body tensed up slightly. He would probably never be the same for the rest of his life. This was a very difficult and shocking thing for him to accept. He had been trying to get used to this for 9 months, but he could never get used to it. His gaze started to dull, his body started to tremble. His eyes were filled with tears. Before his mind could slip further into his headspace, Nora had meowed and landed on his lap and started rubbing against his hands. Then he felt her body separate Jason's back from his back. Tim whimpered silently with loss of sensation, but two muscular arms wrapped around him and sat him on his lap. Tim let out a quiet purr as his arms wrapped around him. He could hear Jason saying, “It’s okay, baby bird, it’s okay,” as he slid into his own headspace.
---
When Jason felt Tim’s body tense up while he was reading a book. His body went into high alert. He could feel Tim start to shake. Nora sensed the situation immediately and moved into his arms to comfort him. Jason quickly pulled his back away from hers and turned. The whimpering sound Tim made when he broke contact with her broke her heart. She pulled him into her arms immediately and hugged him. The purring sound Tim made in response to the hug comforted her. He kissed the top of her head, the dullness in her eyes was heartbreaking. “It’s okay, baby bird. It’s okay, you’re okay. You’re okay. I’ll take care of you, everything’s okay, you’re okay, you’re safe,” he whispered to her, slowly rocking his body back and forth. Tim’s body was shaking, not responding to anything. Jason did nothing but try to calm her down, to comfort her. He turned him towards him, his legs around his waist, and he sat her ear on his chest, Nora had moved back to his shoulders. He continued to rock and hug Tim until his shaking stopped. When he finally stopped shaking and felt her slowly stop, he let out a sigh of relief. “Thank God,” he said in a low voice. I could tell Tim was still wide-eyed and not himself. But at least he had calmed down, and that was better than nothing.
He reached for his phone, sighing. Tim definitely wasn’t going to the mansion like this. And Jason was never going to go without him. He would either set foot in that place with her or not at all. He dialed a number he knew by heart. The call was picked up in no time. “Hey Jay, have you made up your mind?” Bruce said, sounding hopeful.
Jason suppressed the urge to groan. “Well, B,” he said.
“Oh, so the answer is no,” Bruce said. The depression in his tone could be heard a mile away.
Jason groaned. “It’s not like that. Look Tim is having a bad day" he said.
Bruce said panicked "what! What happened? Is he okay".
Jason "he's not hurt. He's healthy. The thing had a small panic attack. It's over now. But after the attacks it doesn't respond to anything for a while and needs care. That's why we need to stay home" he explained patiently.
Bruce was silent for a while "so is he okay" he asked finally.
Jason said "physically yes his condition is not getting worse. He just needs rest and careful care".
Bruce said "can I come" his voice sounded worried.
Jason said "I'm sorry but not right now. I know you're trying to fix it. But Tim needs space right now. He panics more when there's someone else around in these situations" he said.
Bruce sighed "can you at least keep me informed" he asked.
Jason said "yeah sure why not".
Bruce sighed "thanks Jay. Don't forget to take care of yourself too okay? Do you have food?" he said.
Jason said "yes, there is, please take care of yourself."
Bruce said "I'll see you soon then, don't forget to take care of yourself." Then he hung up.
After Jason hung up the phone, he put it on the coffee table. He looked at Tim. Tim's eyes were half-closed, his gaze was blank. His body was relaxed, the right cheek of his face was pressed against Jason's chest. His heartbeat seemed to calm him down. He continued to shake Tim gently. Jason's one hand was stroking his back while the other held Tim's left hand. This was the easiest way to understand whether Tim had come to his senses. When he was more conscious, he would shake Jason's hand.
***
Bruce sighed and entered the kitchen. Alfred said "I think they answered."
Bruce said "They can't come. It's something to do with Timmy's health. Jason is taking care of him right now and they won't be available for a while. Tim needs space because of his condition. That's why they can't come."
Alfred's eyebrows furrowed. "What exactly is wrong with the young master?" he asked with concern.
"I don't know about that. Jason didn't say anything, he just said he wasn't getting any worse physically," Bruce said. Alfred looked on with concern.

faint hearts - joshua hong
warnings: hospital, blood mention. mention of undernourished & stress. if i missed anything please let me know!
pairings: hong joshua x reader
genre: slight angst
wc: 1.2k
a/n: this is briefly proofread so if there's some mistakes, please forgive me! I'll fix it later
check out my masterlist! // shua's m.list
“i just don’t understand why you can’t see my side of things,” you shouted, voice cracking under the weight of your frustration. joshua’s eyes were dark, his arms crossed over his chest as he stood in the kitchen. the argument had started small, about something inconsequential, but had spiraled out of control, fueled by all the unsaid grievances and pent-up resentment.
“maybe because you’re not listening to me either,” he snapped back. “you always think you’re right, and it’s exhausting.”
your heart sank, his words cutting deep. “i’m exhausting?” you whispered, eyes stinging with tears. “so, what, joshua? am i just too much for you?”
joshua rubbed his temples, a sign that he was nearing his breaking point. “that’s not what i meant,” he groaned, but the damage was done. you felt your resolve shatter, the anger giving way to pure hurt.
“i can’t keep doing this, joshua,” you’d finally said, your voice shaking as you grabbed your coat. the finality in your tone made his stomach twist, but his pride and anger kept him from stopping you. he watched as you slammed the door behind you, leaving a heavy silence in your wake.
instead of confronting the suffocating emptiness, joshua sank onto the couch, his head in his hands. guilt and regret clawed at him, but he didn’t chase after you. he convinced himself you needed space, that maybe he did too.
meanwhile, you found yourself at chan’s doorstep. he opened the door, eyes widening in surprise, but the easy smile he gave you was warm, comforting. “hey, you,” he greeted, noticing the strain in your expression but choosing not to comment on it. “no dinner plans?” he asked lightly.
you forced a smile, trying to keep the shakiness from your voice. “no plans. thought i’d come and cook something,” you replied, desperately needing something to distract yourself from the storm still raging inside you.
chan welcomed you in, and soon you found yourself in his kitchen, ingredients scattered on the counter. cooking usually calmed you, but today, your hands were unsteady, your mind clouded with everything you hadn’t said to joshua.
by some force of an accident, the knife slipped. pain shot through your hand, and you let out a sharp gasp. “fuck,” you murmured as blood welled up from the cut, dripping onto the counter. chan turned around immediately, his eyes widening in alarm. “oh my god, are you okay?” he rushed to your side, guiding you toward the bathroom. “come on, we need to clean that up.”
“i… i can do it,” you stammered, pulling away from him. the sight of blood mixed with the overwhelming stress made your head spin. you felt tears burning at the back of your eyes, the weight of everything crashing down on you.
chan frowned, concern etched on his face. “are you sure? you don’t look—”
“i just need a minute,” you insisted, stumbling into the bathroom and locking the door behind you. you pressed your back against the door, your heart pounding as your vision blurred. the stress, the fight, the blood—all of it was too much. your knees gave out, and darkness swept over you.
chan waited outside the bathroom, anxiety growing with each passing second. when too much time had passed, he knocked. “hey, are you okay?” there was no response, and panic gripped him. “y/n!” he called again, his voice rising.
when he finally pushed the door open, the sight of you crumpled on the bathroom floor made panic coarse through his blood. his hands shook as he pulled out his phone, immediately dialing joshua’s number without a second thought. “pick up, pick up,” he muttered desperately, his voice cracking when joshua answered.
“chan?” joshua’s voice sounded wary, still carrying the remnants of their fight.
“y/n,” chan interrupted, voice tight with fear. “she’s passed out, and there’s blood, joshua. you need to get here. now. I don't know what to do.”
joshua’s world seemed to tilt on its axis, “call the damn ambulance!”, he didn’t remember grabbing his keys or sprinting to chan’s place, only the icy fear coursing through his veins. when he arrived, his heart nearly stopped at the sight of you as his blood ran cold. still unconscious, with chan anxiously hovering over you.
“darling,” joshua breathed, dropping to his knees beside you. his hands trembled as he carefully gathered you into his arms. “god, this is all my fault” he whispered, tears blurring his vision.
the rush to the hospital felt endless. joshua held you close, every second a torment as he imagined the worst. his mind replayed your argument over and over, regret slicing through him with each memory. how had he let it get this bad?
in the hospital, joshua’s heart pounded as he waited for the doctor. chan sat beside him, guilt written all over his face. “she’ll be okay, right?” chan whispered, but joshua didn’t have an answer. he was barely holding himself together.
when the doctor finally came out, joshua stood up so fast he nearly stumbled. “she’s okay,” the doctor said, his voice calm but serious. “she fainted from stress, anxiety, and exhaustion. she’s also undernourished. she needs rest and proper care.”
joshua’s legs nearly gave out, relief and guilt mixing in a painful wave. how had he let you suffer so much without realizing it?
when he was allowed to see you, he felt his breath catch at how fragile you looked in the hospital bed. he sank into the chair beside you, his hands trembling as he reached for yours. “darling,” he whispered, voice breaking. tears spilled down his cheeks, and he didn’t bother wiping them away.
you slowly opened your eyes, taking in his tear-streaked face. “hey, dont cry, its okay. im okay,” you murmured, your voice still weak.
“it’s not okay,” joshua choked out, his voice thick with emotion. “none of this is okay. i should’ve noticed how much you were hurting. i should’ve paid more attention. i should’ve been there.” his shoulders shook, the guilt and regret overwhelming him. “i’m so sorry.”
you reached up with a trembling hand, gently cupping his cheek. your thumb brushed away his tears, your touch soft despite the exhaustion in your eyes. “joshua,” you whispered, your voice breaking. “it’s okay.”
he shook his head, more tears spilling over. “no, it’s not,” he insisted, his voice cracking. “i shouldn’t have let it get this bad. i shouldn’t have let you feel so alone. i failed you.”
your eyes softened, even as more tears filled them. “then you can just…start now,” you whispered, your thumb tracing the curve of his cheek. “stop saying sorry and just…be here.”
joshua’s breath caught, and he gripped your hand tighter. “i will,” he promised, his voice raw. “i’ll be here. i’ll be better. i swear.”
you managed a small, tired smile, your thumb still gently brushing away his tears. “that’s all i need,” you said softly, and though things still felt fragile, the way he held onto your hand felt like a promise—a promise to be there, to try, and to never let things get this broken again.

Locksmith - Nico Hischier
nico hischier x fem!reader, jack hughes x platonic!reader, luke hughes x platonic!reader
summary: reader has been friends with the hughes brothers for years, and when she finally arrives in Jersey to move in with her best friends, she finds herself locked out and stuck in the hallway, with only the neighbor to save her
notes: this is my first time ever writing ANYTHING, so this could be terrible. BUT it’s really only a peek at where i want the story to go so possible series if anyone actually wants to read it??? 🫣
part 2, part 3, part 4
[2.4k]
~
You know, three suitcases didn’t seem like enough when you were packing, but trying to roll three suitcases down the long, carpeted hallway is proving to be one of the most difficult tasks you’ve ever had to do in your life.
Seriously, the building didn’t look this long from the outside.
After a trek that felt like miles, you reach the door you’ve been scanning for, only to find it locked tight. “I swear to god I’m literally going to kill them,” you said to yourself, out loud. “They tell the doorman to let me in, have me bring all this luggage up by myself, only to leave the fucking door locked. Why did I expect anything less?”
Grabbing your phone, you dial Jack’s number, silently begging him to pick up. You know he’s at a charity thing with Luke, but surely he’s allowed to answer his phone, right? Wrong. His phone goes straight to voicemail, twice. Classic Jack. You know there’s not any point to calling Luke, he always leaves his phone during charity events in order to connect with the kids better. Usually you find that endearing and admirable, but right now you wish that he was maybe just a bit more selfish.
“Well, I guess I live in the hallway now. Hope the carpet is plush enough to sleep on.” You’ve always had a habit of talking out loud to yourself when you’re nervous or, in this case, annoyed. It helps you work through your thoughts and not dwell on anything for too long. Purges your emotions a bit.
“Trust me, it’s not. Speaking from experience here, you’d be much better off sleeping on the couches in the lobby” a voice startles you.
“Oh my god,” you jumped. You turned around to see the door to the apartment behind you wide open, a dark haired man leaning against the doorway, smile on his face.
“I- how long have you been standing there?” you asked, hand on your chest trying to calm your racing heart.
“Long enough to know you’re thinking about sleeping on the carpet, not long enough to know why,” he states, humor lacing his tone.
“Well, if you must know, my roommates left the door locked, no spare key, and won’t answer their phones. So, until they get home, the hallway is my new bedroom,” you surveyed the stranger.
He was tall, much taller than you were. He wore a simple white t-shirt, black sweatpants, and a backwards hat on his head, hiding what looked like hair that was in need of a trim based on how much it was spilling out the sides of the hat. But what made you stop in your tracks were his eyes. You don’t think you had ever truly understood the phrase ‘warm eyes’ until now. They were the most spectacular shade of brown you had ever seen in your life. And they were filled with amusement. Amusement directed towards you, since he had just heard you talking to yourself like a madwoman.
“Ahh, you must be Y/N! I thought Jack said you weren’t coming until tomorrow?” He asked, understanding washing over his face.
“I caught an earlier flight and was going to surprise them. However, Jack texted me earlier this morning and told me he and Luke had to go to a charity skate, so I had to tell them I was coming early. He told me he’d leave the door unlocked so I could go ahead and settle in, but, as you can see, they did not,” you explained, only slightly shocked Jack told his neighbor about you. That boy sure liked to talk, yapping anyone’s ear off who would listen.
“Well, lucky for you, I happen to have a spare key you can use,” the stranger tells you, walking out of your view for a brief moment.
“Should I be concerned that the neighbor has a spare key? Does he just go around handing out spares left and right?” you ask, starting to feel a bit awkward standing among all of your luggage.
“No, not exactly,” the man laughs. “He gave me a spare after one too many nights of me hauling him home from the bar only to realize he didn’t have his key with him.”
He walks out of his apartment, a small golden key in hand. The stranger, whose name you forgot to ask, unlocks the door and stands back with a warm smile on his face.
“There, you just got upgraded to a real bedroom,” he recalls, standing in the now open doorway.
“I would say thank you, but I’m still a little concerned that a strange man just had to let me into my own apartment,” you (semi) joke, attempting to gather your suitcases.
“I’m Nico,” he explains, taking the suitcase you were struggling to heave into the apartment.
“Oh, you’re the captain!” you exclaim, recalling all the times Jack and Luke had talked about their beloved leader to you. “Jack never mentioned you lived next door!”
“That’s me. I only just moved in about a week ago. Was looking for a place closer to the rink and Jack told me about his previous neighbors moving out, so I decided to move in. Nice having them just across the hall. They’re like the little brothers I never had,” Nico pronounces brothers like ‘brudders’. You nearly forgot Jack had mentioned he was from Switzerland, too distracted to have picked up on his accent before now.
“Yeah, they seem to have that effect on people, huh?” you understood the sentiment behind Nico’s words all too well.
You’ve known Jack, Luke, and Quinn since you were all kids. Your family owned the lake house next to theirs when you were growing up. You spent every summer with them up until Quinn got drafted to the Canucks a few years back. Then Jack to the Devils, then Luke following Jack. Your families grew incredibly close to one another over the years, though. Trips to visit the other outside of the summer months became a regular occurrence. Trips to watch their hockey games, traveling to watch Luke play college hockey, and attending their drafts. These three were the brothers you never had but always wanted. They treated you like their own sister from the very start.
“They especially have the annoying aspect of younger brothers perfected,” Nico replied, both of you fully inside your new apartment now.
“God, don’t I know it,” you laughed.
Looking up, you finally took in your new home. Geez, this place is nice. It shouldn’t surprise you, really, with how much Jack and Luke both make, but the apartment is like, really nice. Definitely out of your price range, by likely a couple thousand dollars. You suddenly feel bad that Jack refused to let you pay any share of the rent. You had fought him on it, several times. He insisted that they had the spare bedroom anyways, and they had no trouble making rent as is. You demanded that you contribute in some way, so you were now tasked with grocery shopping and cooking for two professional hockey players. Honestly, after seeing the meal plans the team nutritionist gave them, it might be a fair trade.
It's only as you look over towards the kitchen at the thought of having to go grocery shopping soon, you realize Nico is still there. He’s just standing there, watching you take in your surroundings, lost in your own thoughts.
“Well, thanks for not letting me waste away in the hallway. And helping me with my luggage. I think someone from TSA filled my suitcases with rocks or something. I swear it didn’t seem like I had that much stuff when I left home,” you explain, not knowing what else to say to the stranger.
“No problem, seriously. I feel like I’m over here more than I’m at my own apartment, anyways. Jack is always calling me to come over or insisting that we have to watch game film together after practice. It’s a little concerning how obsessed he is with hockey. I mean, I’m the captain of the team and I feel like I spend less time thinking about work than he does,” Nico chuckles, not seeming to want to end the conversation just yet.
“God, don’t even get me started. I’ve had to listen to him ramble on and on about hockey for years. I’m just glad someone else finally understands my pain.”
“You know, the only other subject he seems to talk about as much as hockey is you. And his family, but according to him the two are one in the same. Every time I’ve seen him this week, which is nearly every day, he’s updated me on the countdown to when you were set to arrive. He’s seriously excited to have you here. They both are. It’s nice to finally put a face to the name,” Nico reveals.
You and Jack had always been the closest out of the three brothers. With your age falling directly in-between Quinn and Jack, you and Jack had the most common interests as a kid. Quinn was always trying to be the grown one, not concerning himself with whatever you and Jack were interested in while growing up. As teens, Quinn was always training or going off by himself to do who knows what. Luke was still slightly too young to go off with you and Jack alone, so it was usually just the two of you embarking on your own little adventures on those summer days. Once Jack got his boating license neither of your parents would let Luke go out on the water without them. So, more often than not, you and Jack would take the boat to God knows where in the middle of the lake and spend the whole day there, not returning until after dark. Those days were your favorite to think back on. The conversations between you and Jack never ceased to flow. From hockey, to your boy troubles back home, to whatever girl Jack wanted to impress that summer, to what your lives would look like one day, to always vowing to be in each other’s lives, even if he became a big shot hockey player that lived on the other side of the world.
“Yeah, well, he always has been the sentimental type, no matter how hard he tries to deny it,” you chuckle, a fond smile finding its way onto your face.
“Well, I guess I’ll be seeing you around, Y/N. If you ever find yourself faced with sleeping in the hallway again, you know where to find me,” Nico drops his eye into a wink, walking over to the door and opening it once again.
“Thank goodness someone around here understands the severity of the situation at hand. Me and my back thank you,” you wave your arms around for dramatic effect, walking to take hold of the open door as he steps into the hallway and back into his own doorway.
“Welcome to Jersey. We’re glad to have you here,” Nico turns to face you after he’s back in his own apartment, a genuine smile settled on his face.
“Thanks, Nico. It’s good to be here,” you respond, matching his smile, thinking of how well it suits him.
———————————————————————————
“Y/n!!!! Where are you!?” you hear, currently elbow deep in suitcase number two, trying your hardest to unpack everything. You really don’t know how you managed to fit so much clothing in three suitcases. Or how you ended up with so many clothes to begin with. You stand up and start making your way to the door of your bedroom, hand on the doorknob as it flies open, revealing a very excited looking Jack and Luke. You suddenly feel your body flying forward, face hitting a clothed shoulder.
“Ow! Jack, that was my nose!” you tried to say, but everything was muffled because of how tight your body was being held in place. Seriously, he acts like he hadn’t seen you in years. You were literally here a few months ago to visit and arrange plans to move in. Leave it to Jack to always bring the dramatics.
“Just a few more seconds, I missed you,” he mumbles, squeezing even tighter, if that was even possible.
“Jack, no fair! Quit hogging her, I missed her too!”
“Luke, please save me. I might suffocate soon if he doesn’t let go,” you beg the younger brother.
“Oh my god, will you two quit being dramatic? Can’t a man be excited his best friend is finally moving in after months of waiting?” Jack whines as he releases his hold on you.
“No one said you couldn’t be excited, Rowdy, but suffocating me two minutes into living together might not be the best way to show your excitement,” you say, smoothing out your sweatshirt and making your way towards the open arms of the younger, yet much larger, brother.
“Oh Moose, how have you been? Have you been getting enough sleep?” You question, always worried about his wellbeing, especially these past few weeks.
“Yeah, m’alright. A little tired, but we have some home games lined up soon. I’ll catch up on sleep then,” he responds, squeezing you a little tighter at the end of his sentence.
Luke’s rookie year has been a rollercoaster not only for him, but for you as well. You worry about the youngest Hughes, having such a soft spot for the boy. You know he’s talented, and you know he’ll do well, but you can see the exhaustion on his face and in his actions. You know he carries the weight of the foul comments he receives about his gameplay, and you try your hardest to take some of it off of his shoulders.
“Alright, but now that I’m here just know I’ll be holding you to that,” a stern look on your face.
Turning back around towards Jack, you find him surveying your room, looking over the mess you created in the few hours it took for them to return home.
“So, are you going to spend the rest of the day unpacking, or can we go have some fun and celebrate the fact that you live in New Jersey now?” Jack spoke, looking at the pictures you decided to display, most of them pictures of you and the brothers throughout the years.
“I mean, I was hoping to get as much done today as I can, but I’m guessing you’ve already made plans, huh?”
“You would be correct. We’re leaving at 8, be ready,” is all Jack says, before dragging Luke out of your room.

Jealous Jealous Jealous Boy ☆〜(ゝ。∂)
Tags: Hookups, Jealous Toji, Rough Sex, Dumbification, all fully consented!!, Orgasm denial briefly, dacryphilia, Mean Toji
*・゜゚・*:.。..。.:*・'(*゚▽゚*)'・*:.。. .。.:*・゜゚・*
Toji Fushiguro was a lot of things.
A womanizer.
A sleaze.
A bum.
And most importantly to you, a great fuck.
Which was really all you cared about, if you had to think about it. When he was behind you, and his pace was downright cruel, you found yourself caring very little about the rest of the things that Toji was.
Because out of the two men you kept on speed dial for a quick hook up, Toji was certainly the one you frequented most. His thrusts bordered onto brutal and the huffs and groans he made when you two were fucking like dogs in heat, it was nothing short of pure bliss in your opinion.
And there was rarely any real talking involved. Small words exchanged before he would demolish you and then leave. The other hook up was better at talking. But you really shouldn’t be thinking about that guy. Speak of the devil and all of that.
Though, you had a feeling the real devil was the man behind you, when you caught a glimpse of the frown on his face as he stared at your now ringing phone. And yeah, maybe “Quick Hookup #2” wasnt the most discreet name, but how were you supposed to know you would have to be discreet on your own phone? The glare Toji had was deadly, and his thrusts had completely stopped.
A silence overtook the room at that point, the phone finally finished ringing before a ding spiked through the silence. You hear Toji hum to himself, reading off the text in his head before his voice, with a cruel tone to it, read it out loud. “Had fun last night babe, wanna link again tonight…” he finished off like it was just something in the news.
You quickly go to crawl away, caught off guard by the hand that pushes you down, and stayed firm on your back. “Why you runnin’ away, babe?” His voice downright murderous and you could only let out what could be described as a squeak in response.
When your silence rang out, Toji laughed. An insincere, mean, and angry laugh. And when his hips snapped forward and you let out a harsh wail at the unexpected movement, the laugh turned to more of a growl.
“Now you wanna make a noise,” He huffs, your phone abandoned and both hands gripping your hips harshly “now that I’m fucking you the way you needed, ain’t that right slut?” His words are cruel and his thrusts are even crueler. Your moans and sobs are echoing through the room, barely able to get louder than the slapping of skin.
The room smelled of sex and sweat and you couldn’t possibly think straight, nothing could fix the almost broken babble streaming out of your mouth. Small and pitiful pleas of “sorry” “didn’t mean it” “gonna cum” and indecipherable babble between it. A tiny please peaking through some of the rambling if you listened hard enough.
“Oh you’re sorry? Sorry but you’re still begging for this dick, fucking whore.” He grunts out, his grip getting tight enough that you could expect bruises there in the morning. And right as you were at the peak, teetering that edge, he stopped.
You let out a broken sob, pleading for him to continue before your phone was held in front of your face, with “Quick Hookup #2” pulled up on your phone in your contacts. “Block ‘em. Or I’ll quit fucking you right now.” Toji said firmly, letting your hands grasp the phone and fumble with it, dropping it once or twice before finally managing to click the block button.
When your phone was pulled from your hands, you let out a sigh of relief as the thrusts picked up again. “If I ever find out you go fucking someone else again, I’ll kill them and fuck you so hard you’ll forget your own name.” He huffed, and then the brutal thrusts started again, and his skin slapped against yours. And even as you reached your peak this time, he didn’t stop.
He fucked you through your first orgasm and sent you hurdling straight towards a second one, dismissing your twitches to get away in favor of your pleads for more coming from your mouth.
And that night you learned something else about Toji Fushiguro that you never knew before.
He was an extremely jealous man.

chris’s front door was unlocked when i arrived at his house.
i went straight to his room, noting that it seemed like nobody else was home.
when i opened his door, i wasn’t prepared for the sight i was met with.
chris was sat on his bed, head tilted back on his headboard, eyes screwed shut with his hand wrapped around his cock.
i closed the door behind me, the sound of it clicking shut making chris’s eyeballs shoot open.
“really, baby? couldn’t even wait for me?” i asked as i walked towards him.
“fuck, ma. i couldn’t help it, i started thinking about y-“ before he could finish i grabbed his dick.
“fuckkkk” he moaned out.
i gently took the hand that wasn’t on his dick and ran my fingers along his shoulders and biceps.
i began to leave a trail of kisses going up his neck, stopping right under his ear.
“you don’t like it when i play with myself without you” i whispered into his ear, watching as he shuddered.
“so why would you think it would be ok for you to do that?” i asked as i squeezed his base.
“fuck” he whispered, hips twitching.
i bit his ear gently, making him gasp.
“i’m waiting for a fucking answer, christopher” i said as i swiped my thumb over his tip.
“shit” he hissed out.
“fine. you don’t wanna answer? then you don’t get to cum” i said.
“wait, what?” his eyes widened.
i moved my hand up and down his member, giving slow strokes as i left kisses down his chest.
i sucked on his skin, leaving dark marks down his body.
“holy shittt” he groaned out as i continued to leave kisses down his body, stopping right above his dick.
i sped up my movements, watching his face contort as he got closer and closer to finishing.
once his dick started to twitch, i pulled my hand off and began to rub his stomach.
“noooo baby, fuck” he whined.
“i wasn’t joking, chris. you don’t deserve to cum” i told him as i continued to rub him right above where he needed me to touch.
“i’m sorry, so sorry, please let me cum baby”
instead of answering, i took off my clothes, stripping down to my underwear.
as i went to take them off, his phone started to ring, halting my movements.
INCOMING CALL FROM: CLAIRE
ANSWER ? DECLINE ?
i glanced at his phone, then back at him.
“you gonna answer that?” i asked him, raising my eyebrows.
his face was filled with pure fear.
he knows that it’s obvious who claire is, the other girl he’s been fucking.
i began to grow amused, wondering what he was gonna do.
“no, it’s ok”
“you sure, chris ? what if it’s important?” i leaned over him, bringing my face close to his “what if she needs you chris?”
he didn’t say anything, instead, he swallowed harshly.
it went to voicemail.
i grabbed his phone, handing it to him.
“call her back.” i said as i glared into his eyes.
his brows furrowed, “what?”
“call. her. back” i repeated.
without another word, he called her back. we stared at each other as we listened to the dial tone, before a voice was heard on the other line.
“hello?” chris just continued to stare at me.
i put the phone on speaker and gestured for him to answer.
“uh, hi”
“heyyy chrissy !!”
he looked at me, unsure of what my motives were.
“hi, what’s up ?”
i hooked my leg over his, now straddling his waist.
he looked up at me, eyes wide as ever.
“oh i was just wondering if i could come over ? it’s been a few weeks and i really miss you” i began to grind my hips into his.
“o-oh” he began to moan but was quickly able to cover it up by clearing his throat. his hands shot up to my waist, head falling forward to my shoulder.
“fuck” he spoke into my shoulder.
“what? i can’t hear you” she said.
he picked his head up, “um, s-sorry, i’m- you can’t- i’m busy” he was barely able to get the words out. “w-we already agreed to stop”
“are you ok, baby?” baby? is she serious?
with that, i picked up speed, moving my clothed pussy on him in circles.
he bit my shoulder, trying to stop the moans from tumbling out.
“chris? hellooooo ?”
“y-yea” he grunted. “ i gotta go, please don’t c-call me again” he said. he ended the call, and tossed his phone off the bed.
“fuckkkk!” he yelled out, i watched as his legs began to twitch, and i stopped my movements.
“no no no” he whined.
“why’d you two agree to stop?” i asked him.
“what?” he asked, confused due to his mind still being fuzzy.
“you said you agreed to stop. why ?” i asked him.
he looked down at my lips. “isn’t it obvious?”
i just looked at him. “i told you, she’s not you.
nobody is. nobody makes me feel the way you do”
i grabbed his face, and placed my lips on his. our lips moved in sync against each other.
i reached down between us, and started stroking his dick again.
he moaned into the kiss, hips bucking up into my hand.
i moved my hand up again, rubbing his stomach and continuing to tease him.
“fuck, come onnn ma” he whined.
“aw baby, i love hearing you beg” i whispered into his ear.
i squeezed his thigh, running my hand up and down it.
“please please please” he panted out.
“do she make you beg like this ?” i asked, condescendingly.
him and i both know she doesn’t.
“fuck, no baby. please !”
“please, what ?”
“please let me cum, please” he whined.
i placed my hand around his dick.
“holyyyy fuck!” he moaned out.
i could tell he was already close from all of the edging and teasing.
i started to stroke him, quickly.
his body tensed, and he started to twitch.
“look at you, you can’t even stay still baby”
he whined in response, his eyes screwing shut and rested his head on my shoulder.
“fuckkk” he whined.
“come on, baby. you’re so close, you got it. give it to me”
“fuck” he whined out, in a broken voice.
his hands gripped onto the sheets as his hips shot up.
his cum shot out of him, dripping out of his tip and covering my hand.
“so fucking good for me, chris”
he moaned in response.
instead of stopping, i continued to pump his length.
“holy- wait, fuck!” he groaned out.
“you know what to say if you need to stop, baby”
with that, i continued my movements.
i rubbed my thumb over his tip, making him whine.
“i c-can’t, so sensitive” he whined out.
“you’re the one who needed to cum so badly, remember? please please please.” i mimicked him. “so sit there and take it”
i continued to stroke his base with one hand while i rubbed his tip with the other.
he continued to whine while i watched his abs and thighs flex.
he grabbed my arm, his nails digging into my skin.
“you look so fucking hot, chris. all fucked out like this”
his legs started to shake, eyes rolling back.
“is this what you were thinking about when you were jerking off? my hand wrapped around your cock?”
more whines.
“so fucking dirty, baby. thinking about your best friend like this?” i sped up my hand.
“fuck, holy-“ he cut himself off with his orgasm.
i continued to stroke him, watching as he began to squirm.
“shittt”
“can you handle more? haven’t even fucked you yet, baby”
“yes, want you to feel good too” he moaned out.
with that, i lowered myself onto his dick.
“mmmmmm” he whined, grabbing onto my ass.
“fuck, i missed this chris” i moaned out.
“s-so tight”
i began to rotate my hips, grinding on him.
“feel so fucking good” i moaned as my head flew back.
without warning, his hips bucked up.
“shit, chris!” i yelled, grabbing his shoulders.
he groaned as he filled me with his seed.
i moaned out, clenching at the feeling of his cum inside of me.
i began to bounce on his cock, getting lost in the feeling of him buried deep inside of me.
his grip on my ass got harder, fingers dinging into it.
his moans turned into whimpers, and his cheeks turned red.
i clenched around him again, making him scream out.
“FUCK! PEPSI, PEPSI!”
i immediately stopped bouncing, pulling myself off of him.
“fuck, you ok baby?” i asked, rubbing his arms.
“yeah i’m good. but holy fuck”
“sorry, i got carried away” i said, climbing off of his lap.
i laid down on my stomach next to him, pushing up onto my elbows as i looked at him.
“don’t apologize, ma. i loved it” he smiled at me.
“ok, good” i said, turning my head to rest my cheek on my hands.
chris got up, presumably to get something to clean himself up with.
“you never got to finish baby, let’s fix that” before i knew it, he was eating me out from behind.
“ohhh fuck, chris” i moaned out, my face falling into the sheets.
“mmmmph” he moaned into me, adding to my pleasure.
he lapped at my pussy with his tongue, savoring the taste.
he pushed his tongue into my hole, curling it just right.
“chris! oh my gosh! “
he rubbed my clit with his finger, sending me over the edge.
my eyes rolled back as i was hit with a wave of pleasure.
he pulled his face away, and left a kiss on my lower back.
i turned around, facing chris.
“shower?” we asked at the same time, making us both laugh.
he held his hand out, helping me up.
“i hope you know that wasn’t the last time you’ll be screaming my name tonight, ma”

skz when you need a break from studying.
pairing: stray kids (ot8) x female reader
genre: fluff, comfort
warning: none
BANG CHAN - stops whatever he’s doing.
As Chan wrapped up for the day, he stretched his tired limbs, sore from hours hunched over his laptop, fully absorbed in finishing a new song for their upcoming album. Glancing at his phone, he scrolled through his notifications, sensing something unusual. You hadn’t sent him a single message all day—a surprise, given how you often text him any random thought just to check in. He loved that about you, knowing it was just your way of showing you cared.
Curious, he sent you a quick message, asking how your day was going. Minutes ticked by with no reply. Knowing your schedule by heart (and even saved in his phone), he remembered you didn't have classes today. Concerned, he dialed your number, listening to the rings before you finally picked up.
"Hey, Mr. Loverman. What’s up?" you greeted him, trying to sound lively, though he immediately caught the tiredness in your voice.
“Oh, I don’t know? Maybe my girlfriend hasn’t sent me a single message all day because she’s probably glued to her laptop screen, her poor butt sore from sitting there nonstop?” he teased.
You chuckled softly, unable to deny it, and he laughed before adding, "Well, don't you worry, Y/N's cute little butt—I’m on my way to rescue you from that uncomfortable chair!" His words made you laugh.
"You’re not going anywhere! Comeback season’s around the corner, and you still have songs to finish" you protested, setting aside your iPad to focus on him.
“I can do the rest tomorrow. I got through most of my to-do list today” he insisted. “I’ll see you at your dorm in fifteen minutes.”
“Do I get any say in this?” you asked playfully. “Only to get ready for lots of hugs and kisses” he replied, excitement sparking in his tone.
“Bring some food, too!” you said. “Are my hugs and kisses not enough?” he asked dramatically.
“They’ll be enough once I’m full. I’m starving, Channie” “Alright, my love. Pizza, pasta, kisses, and hugs—on their way to you!”
LEE KNOW - scolds you (lovingly), but cuddles you afterwards.
In the quiet solitude of the university library, you’re battling a wave of sleepiness that’s been creeping up on you for minutes. The combination of no enough sleep, the library’s cozy atmosphere, and the silence of being alone makes staying awake even harder. Your friends just left to attend their next class, leaving you to focus on your looming term paper deadline.
But no matter how much you try, your mind feels like a blank page, and your eyelids are getting heavier by the second. You decide to rest your eyes just for a moment, convincing yourself that it’s only for a short time. With your head still facing your laptop, you lose track of time, drifting somewhere between wakefulness and sleep.
Suddenly, you feel yourself tilting forward, on the verge of hitting your laptop—only to feel a gentle hand press against your forehead. A familiar voice, warm with concern and a hint of exasperation, breaks the silence. “Geez, Y/N, be careful. What are you doing?” Minho whispers in a low, scolding tone.
Your eyes open, and you’re met with his worried gaze, his hand still resting on your forehead. You can’t help but chuckle at the situation, earning a sigh from him. “You’re really laughing?” he mutters, his tone serious enough to stop your laughter.
His brows knit in concern, and you pout in response. “It’s not fair; you know that pout of yours weakens me. Stop that, Y/N,” he sighs, removing his hand from your forehead and settling into the chair next to you.
“Then stop scolding me,” you retort with a playful frown. Minho’s expression softens as he gently smooths your hair, his voice dropping to a murmur.
“I’m just worried. You’re pushing yourself too hard, resisting sleep,” he says before pulling you closer, guiding your head to rest on his shoulder. You lean into him without protest, melting into his warmth and wrapping your arms around him in return.
“Did you finish class early?” you ask, looking up to find his affectionate gaze already on you. “Yeah. Our professor assigned an activity, and I finished early. I was on my way to your building when I ran into your friends, who told me you were here, working on your paper. Glad I came in time to stop you from hurting yourself—or your laptop,” he adds with a wry grin, a hint of scolding still in his tone.
You glare at him in mock annoyance, but he just raises an eyebrow and kisses your forehead, dissolving any defense you had left.
“I was just resting my eyes…” you mumble, sitting up to meet his gaze and prove your point, but he’s faster, pulling you back into his embrace. “Shh, rest,” he whispers. And this time, you do.
CHANGBIN - bring you your favorite show and food.
A notification chimes from your phone. You ignore it at first, focused on your work, but then you catch a glimpse of the sender: Changbin.
Instantly, you unlock your screen and see his message, “The plot twist of this episode?!” followed by a snapshot from your favorite K-drama.
Your jaw drops as you hurriedly type back, “How dare you watch that without me! I told you a million times—we’re supposed to watch it together, traitor!”
Almost immediately, you see the "typing..." indicator pop up on your screen. Changbin replies, “But you said you were busy studying. I didn’t want to distract you.” You scoff, knowing full well he’s teasing.
“Fine, enjoy it without me,” you shoot back, turning off your phone and attempting to refocus on your work. Moments later, another notification interrupts. It’s him again, this time with a photo of himself grinning over a mouthwatering slice of pizza from your favorite shop.
“This new flavor is sooo good!” he writes. You roll your eyes, replying, “I hate you.” He quickly texts back, “Want some?” You type, “Nope. I’m studying. Don’t reply anymore.”
Determined, you switch your phone to Do Not Disturb and dive back into your books. Time passes smoothly until you hear your mom calling from downstairs, saying that Changbin is here.
You stop typing mid-sentence and rush to see if it’s true. Sure enough, there he stands in your doorway, balancing pizza boxes with a sheepish grin. “You told me not to text back, so I came over instead,” he says, making you burst into laughter at his antics.
You pull him into a hug, grinning. “You’re so clingy! Couldn’t go a night without talking to me?” you tease. “Of course not!” he beams, making you laugh even harder.
“I thought you were enjoying that pizza all by yourself,” you quip. “Yeah, but then I thought of my poor girlfriend missing out and felt bad,” he replies, his tone teasing as he studies your mock-annoyed expression.
“But then again, she’s so busy studying, and I wouldn’t want to distract her…” “Get upstairs—quickly, before I change my mind!” you say, grabbing his hand and pulling him toward your room, secretly thrilled he’s here.
HYUNJIN - joins you in quiet companionship. him painting while you review your notes.
Even though you're tired and tempted to close your notebook, a gentle energy fills you, thanks to your boyfriend's presence beside you.
Hyunjin insisted on joining your study session, and now you both find yourselves nestled in a cozy café near campus. After persistent begging and multiple reassurances that he’s free for the day, you finally relented, allowing him to be by your side.
You made him promise to keep himself busy, knowing he wouldn’t get much conversation out of you, and he simply agreed, understanding without complaint. Now, you’re both wrapped in your own worlds—yours full of lecture notes, while Hyunjin is absorbed in his sketchbook.
It warms you to see him lose himself in his painting, a passion that lets him escape the pressures of his idol life. Without realizing it, you start to frown in concentration, a habit you’ve developed over time.
Hyunjin notices and reaches out, gently pinching the furrow between your brows. The touch makes you pause, looking up to meet his soft smile “Someone’s a little too focused,” he teases, his gaze warm and adoring.
You can’t help but smile back, leaning into your seat as you set down your pen and stretch your fingers, instinctively popping your knuckles. Hyunjin quickly takes hold of your hands, capturing them in his larger ones, a slight frown on his face.
“No more of that,” he murmurs, massaging your fingers gently. “Your hands need a break too, just look—they’re turning red.” “I won’t do it anymore, but I still need my hands to finish writing,” you say, laughing as you attempt to pull free, but he doesn’t let go.
His eyes are full of quiet affection as he looks at you, keeping your hands warmly cocooned in his. “Let’s rest for a bit,” he whispers, his thumb tracing soothing circles on your hand.
Glancing at his side of the table, your eyes catch a glimpse of his latest drawing—a woman bent over her notebook, absorbed in her work. “Is that…me?” you ask, surprised.
Hyunjin nods with a smile. “Pretty, isn’t it?” he says, giving you a quick kiss. In that moment, you feel grateful you let him join you. Maybe this will be the first of many study dates together, where even the quiet brings you closer.
HAN - adorably pesters you with playful whining.
Jisung decided to turn your usual Saturday date into a cozy evening in his room. This time, midterms had almost derailed your plans—your schedule was packed, and the stress was wearing you down.
But Jisung wouldn’t let that keep you apart. After nearly a week without seeing each other due to the distance, he thought up a way to be together that still let you study.
His plan? A stayover at his house, complete with dinner at the local fine dining spot you’d both been eyeing for ages. You agreed after he promised you’d still get to study, though his intentions might have shifted now that the quiet room is filled with his relentless whining, trying to pull you from your books.
“Come on, baby,” he murmurs, nudging you away from your notes. “This assignment’s due in two weeks. Aren’t you overworking yourself a bit?”
“Yeah, but if I get this done, I can focus on next week’s pile,” you argue, glancing at him over your laptop. He sighs, clearly not convinced.
“Alright, if you’re set on finishing it, at least take a break for a while? You’ll still have time to finish later.” He gives you a pleading look, though you shake your head.
“If I stop now, I’ll lose my momentum.” You stifle a yawn, rubbing your tired eyes. Before you know it, he’s gently pulling your hands from your face, planting a soft kiss on each eye.
“Your body’s saying otherwise, baby,” he whispers. “Just rest, please? Please, please?” His whining escalates, his pout deepening as he shakes your shoulder, and as much as you try to resist, you can’t help but smile at his ridiculous, adorable persistence.
“Y/N-ie ~ my baby, love of my life, my sun in the middle of my cold, lonely sky—come lie down with me,” he insists, sweeping you into his arms. With a huff, you let him settle you onto the bed.
“You’re insufferable,” you grumble, yet the smile still tugs at your lips. “And that’s why you love me,” he says, pressing a soft kiss to your lips before wrapping you in his arms. It’s the start of a long night filled with warmth and quiet, endless cuddles.
FELIX - shares the latest update of the game you both play.
“Here he comes again," Felix's sister mutters as the two of you hear footsteps approaching. You’re currently tucked away in her room, safely distant from the noise of the party outside.
It’s the perfect spot for studying, away from the chaos, and both of you need the peace to focus on a major test coming up.
Today is Felix’s mom’s birthday—a special occasion you couldn’t miss, especially for someone so dear to you. Still, knowing you needed to study, you’d asked Felix and his family if you could join the party briefly before returning to study.
They were more than understanding, even encouraging you to focus on your studies, but you assured them you wanted to be there, at least for a while.
But even tucked away from the noise, you’re not entirely safe from Felix’s playful interruptions. He’s been back and forth to his sister’s room so many times you’ve lost count, popping in just to check on you both.
"What do you need now?" his sister groans, sounding thoroughly exasperated, while you can’t help but chuckle at his antics. “Aren't you two tired from studying? They just bought ice cream! Come on, let's go get some!” he announces with a grin.
“Oh, nice! I’ll probably grab some later, still full from lunch.” You give him a soft smile, though his face falls, disappointed not to have swayed you.
“I’ll just hang here for now,” he sighs, dropping dramatically beside you. “I’m exhausted from playing with our nieces and nephews—those kids are unstoppable.”
“Ugh, do you have to do this right in front of me? Gross,” his sister complains, but Felix only sticks his tongue out at her, making faces.
A few moments pass in peaceful silence until a familiar sound cuts in—Felix’s phone chirps with the opening notes of a game you both love to play. He grins, noticing you sneaking a glance at his screen.
“There’s a new skin for your character,” he teases, holding up his phone. “And it’s in your favorite color too.” You can’t resist.
“You’ve got to be kidding me! It’s gorgeous!” Without thinking, you take his phone, admiring the new look.
“Y/N, focus! We’re not done studying yet,” his sister chides, rolling her eyes.
“A quick break won’t hurt,” Felix adds, nudging you with a knowing look. You hesitate but finally give in, and Felix cheers, sticking his tongue out at his sister, triumphant.
SEUNGMIN - closes your laptop and notebooks, then lifts you to bed.
With your headphones on, set to just the right volume, music from a playlist you share with Seungmin flows through your ears. A warm cup of tea, lovingly prepared by him, sits beside you, and the room is filled with the cozy scent of a candle you just bought. The ambiance fuels your motivation as you dive deep into studying and creating review notes, testing yourself.
Suddenly, a light touch on your back makes you jolt. Turning around, you’re surprised to see Seungmin standing there. “Babe? Seungmin? What are you doing here?” you ask, confused. His expression mirrors yours, but with a bit more playfulness.
“What do you mean? I've been here since early afternoon. It’s dark outside now,” he laughs. “I even asked if I could come over to bring you the food you've been craving all week, and you said yes. You also insisted I stay a while because you wanted to spend time with me. And that tea you're drinking? I made it,” he says, feigning hurt.
“Oh no, is my baby hurt?” you coo, cupping his face and teasingly baby-talking to him. He playfully rolls his eyes, and you give him a quick kiss before turning back to your laptop.
But Seungmin isn’t about to let you slip back into study mode just yet. He gently pulls you to face him again, surprising you. “What’s up?” you ask, laughing at his persistence.
“It’s Seungmin’s time,” he declares, a smirk playing on his lips. “You’ve been glued to your reviewers for too long. Your eyes are practically glowing with radiation. If you were looking at me, they’d be glowing with love instead.”
You let out a burst of laughter, half in shock and half in disbelief. “Babe, what was that?” you say, barely able to catch your breath. His laughter joins yours, both of you laughing at his cheesy line.
“Oh, you’re so in love with me, aren’t you?” you tease, wiping away the tears from laughing so hard. He gently wipes away the remaining tears with a warm smile, looking at you with that familiar, fond expression.
“Just give me a little more time, and I’m all yours,” you say, pressing a soft kiss to his cheek before turning back to your studies.
But it’s not long before he notices you rubbing your temples and squinting at the screen, the strain of too much screen time taking its toll.
“That’s it,” he says firmly, reaching over to close your laptop. “You need to rest your eyes. Are you getting a headache?”
“A bit…” you admit. “Then no more screen time for now,” he says, guiding you to lie down on the bed.
“Just relax. I’ll take care of everything,” he murmurs, his hands reaching to massage soothing circles against your temples. With your eyes closed, savoring the calm, you smile.
“When did you get so cheesy? The guys would never let you live this down if they found out.” “For you? I don’t care,” he says, pulling you close. "Anything for my girl."
I.N - helps you review, then pulls you into a warm embrace when you get tired.
The usual pre-exam study group you and your friends rely on didn’t come together this time; they all had prior commitments, leaving you to tackle the mountain of material alone.
You understood, of course, but the absence of their familiar company left a quiet void, a shift that made focus harder to grasp. So, determined to shake things up, you headed to the small diner near your house, hoping a change in scenery might do the trick.
But as you flipped through page after page, it quickly became clear that studying solo wasn't working. Every term seemed to slip right through your mind without someone there to quiz you, and with a frustrated grunt, you pressed your palms to your eyes, trying to force the information to stick.
“Easy there, miss pretty”
The familiar, soft voice brought an instant smile to your face. You looked up to see Jeongin’s warm grin, his presence like a balm to your fraying nerves.
“Tough day, love?” he asked, sliding into the seat beside you. “How did you know I was here?” you asked, still smiling.
“Saw your friend’s story. I was surprised she wasn’t with you, so I asked where you guys were. She mentioned you might be here, but I didn’t expect you’d be on your own. You could’ve called me, you know,” he said, gently rubbing small, comforting circles on the back of your hand.
“It’s okay, love. I didn’t want to bother you,” you replied, grateful for his presence. “I thought you were out with the guys. How was that, by the way?”
“It was fun,” he said, his smile stretching wider. “Chan hyung treated us to a meal after losing a game.” His expression was so infectious that you couldn’t help but smile back.
“But hey, are you good? Need any help?” he asked, brushing a few strands of hair from your face. You let out a small sigh.
“I’m struggling to quiz myself. Could you help me?” “Of course, baby. Hand over the flashcards,” he said, taking them from you and shuffling through.
He started quizzing you, his encouraging presence lifting some of the pressure as you worked through each answer. Yet, the growing pile of topics left to study loomed large, and you felt your frustration creeping back.
By the time you missed the last answer, a frustrated huff escaped your lips as you fought back the sting of tears.
“Hey, hey. Let’s take a break, okay?” he murmured, his thumb soothing over your knuckles. “You’re doing great. You just need to breathe.” “No,” you insisted, shaking your head.
“Let’s go through them again, from the start. I can get it right.” You handed the flashcards back to him with determination. Jeongin looked ready to protest, but then—right on cue—your stomach growled, loud and insistent.
The two of you froze, then burst into laughter, the tension breaking in an instant.“See?” he chuckled, shaking his head fondly. “You’re just hungry. Let’s get you some food. I’ll buy you anything you want.”
“I’m so lucky to have you,” you said, eyes misting with emotion.“We’re both lucky,” he replied softly, gently wiping away a stray tear before pressing a warm kiss to your cheek.

Soul-Searching
For @steddie-week July 4: body swap
Steve wakes up slowly, he's so comfortable and is surrounded by luxurious silk sheets, a million pillows, and a cool dark room. He blinks for a moment thinking maybe he's still asleep, maybe this is still a dream. His overworked mind thinking of the height of luxury instead of his flat above the coffee-shop he manages working odd hours and barely sleeping. He's making it, but just barely, were it not for Claudia and Dustin Henderson and the casseroles sent weekly he's sure he'd be malnourished. I mean, food or bills? Well, he can get a few tiny staples, but the bills need paid or it's sleeping in his tiny car, the Beemer having been sold out from under him at 19 when he finally told his father he wasn't going to work for him, he was queer, and he was going to find his own way if they couldn't accept him. The fight that ensued insured he'd never be considered a Harrington again, oh he could keep his last name, but make no mistake, that was the day Richard and Diane Harrington's son died. So here he was hallucinating a life he could only dream of, he raised a hand to wipe at his eyes and noticed the ink littering his skin. Black nail polish, and as he sat up long dark curls cascading over his shoulders and face. He rose immediately searching through the dark for a light switch and then spinning to find a mirror only to see the front man of Corroded Coffin staring back at him. He gaped at his reflection turning this way and that, his eyes roving over the body before him before landing on the bare hips in the mirror. To his left the phone rang, and he launched himself over the bed to retrieve it.
“Hello?” He said quietly.
“Hey, yeah, hi.” His voice said back, what the fuck, his voice? How? “So, uh, it seems like I'm either hallucinating, or, and hear me out, I body swapped with whoever you are. I'm um, standing in your…. apartment I guess you'd call it, and uh, honestly I have no idea what to do here man. But, I have a sold out concert in two days and I kinda need my body back to go perform. No offense, I'm sure you're really nice and talented and all, but I, just..” the voice trailed off, he could hear the nerves in his own voice.
“Yeah, uh, not hallucinating. And I'd prefer to give you your body back too. It's a nice body and all, but I am so not equipped to be a metal singer man, I can barely listen to it without getting migraines. Tell you what, are you in Indy? I haven't left your…home? Yet or anything, actually I haven't even found where you have your clothes at, and I'd prefer to have some semblance of clothes on. But maybe you could come to where you live and we can talk?”
“Yeah, yep, that uh, that sounds good. You fell asleep in jeans and tee so I'll just come by in this, and oh your keys were in your pocket. Cool, what kinda car do I look for?”
“It's a small white car just outside the coffee shop downstairs. If anyone tries to stop you just say you have a family emergency and will call them later.”
“Sounds good, uh if they try to stop me what name do I answer to if called?”
“Oh, yeah, sorry. Steve, my name is Steve. “
“Sounds good Stevie, I'll be there as soon as I can.”
Steve hung up the phone when the dial tone started and looked around, he noticed a door painted black with a red dragon and decided to open it, he was greeted by an immense collection of black clothes and pulled out the first things he saw, on the table next to it there was a dish with some scrunchies and hair ties, he chose a silk one to tie up the curls after finger combing them carefully. Once he was done with that he made his way downstairs wandering until he found the front door, a small bench sat next to it with boots and other shoes lined up carefully and he sat, waiting.
Before he knew it a knock came to the front door and he opened it to see his own face looking at him wide eyed.
“This is real then.” He watched his mouth say, he nodded and swallowed.
“Hi, Eddie. I want so badly to say it's nice to meet you, but uh, every time I've thought about meeting you it was more running into you, or maybe going to a concert with my ear protection but having the backstage passes to meet the band, flirting and then…well. Anyway, ahem, why don't uh you show me where your coffee is and we can brainstorm how to change us back?”
Eddie led him into the kitchen and he sat on a bar stool while he flitted around making them some coffee. They started talking, it lasted for hours and finally Eddie looked at him for a moment, and then took a deep breath.
“Okay, I want to try something, and if it doesn't work please don't punch me.” He began, and leaned over to pull Steve into a kiss who immediately saw stars behind his eyelids and melted into the embrace. Either this kiss was world shattering, or the cosmos conspired to find Steve a boyfriend. Eventually they pulled apart both panting and slowly opened their eyes. Steve found himself looking at the rockstar now and giggled.
“It worked.” He whispered. “You're you again, and I'm me.”
“That it did sweetheart. I know this seems fast, but do you want to maybe go on a date with me? I don't think I'm going to forget you anytime soon.”
“I'll go on all the dates with you Eddie Munson.” And Steve pulled him back into a sweet passionate kiss.
They would spend the next weeks and months getting to know each other, but they felt as though they'd known each other in every life, for eons. Fate brought them together and they fell hopelessly, emphatically in love.

warnings : suggestive language!
you listened to the dial tone before it was replaced with a muffled noise you couldn’t quite place. “rafe?” your voice shook on the other end of the line as he answered and instantly he realised you were crying.
“where are you?” he asked, though you could tell by his stern voice that he was demanding rather than asking.
you chewed your lip before sighing out “anastasia’s.” it was a restaurant not far from the country club, where he was currently having dinner with his father and rose.
“wait in the doors.” he told you and you nodded, forgetting that he couldn’t see you. “okay.”
“i’ll be five.”
“thank you-“you whispered before the line went dead.
you were already standing by the doors, your bag resting on the waiting bench so you took a seat and attempted to wipe your tears. you grabbed the pink compact mirror from your bag and silently thanked yourself for choosing waterproof makeup.
it wasn’t an uncommon occurrence for you to call rafe in times of need. although the two of you had never actually dated you hadn’t spent more than three days apart. it was impossible. you were the definition of a toxic situationship and neither of you seemed to care.
you jumped up when you saw his car pull up outside and quickly thanked the hostess before making your way out. he leant over to pop open the door and you climbed in with a shy smile.
“thank you for coming.” you whispered and he rolled his eyes before leaning over and doing your seatbelt.
“it’s like you wanna fucking die.” he mumbled before driving away.
“after tonight i might.” you groaned and he shook his head.
he looks over at you “what happened?”
“my dad.” your reply is shy and he knows not to press anymore. just nods knowingly. your relationship with your parents had always been strained and he was no stranger to that. often being the one to comfort you in these moments.
“are you coming to mine or would you like me to take you to yours?” his hand left the wheel take your own.
“can i come with you?” you ask and he smirks.
“of course i was hoping you’d pick that option” rafe pressed a kiss to the back of your hand and you almost wanted to roll your eyes at him but after the night you’d had you’d take any sort of endearment he would offer.
“what were you doing before?” you ask suddenly noticing how dressed up he was.
“just at the club with the fam” she shrugged and your eyes narrowed as he was never that dressed up to go to the country club. he spent most of his time getting chastised for being shirtless. “some dinner for my dad. a business thing.” he tried to play it off.
“oh sorry.” your voice was small and you almost sunk into your seat as you realised how apparent it was that you were being an inconvenience to him and you couldn’t help feel bad. “was he mad?”
“nah.” he shook his head, turning into tanny hill. “ told me to go as soon as he saw you were calling.”
“how did he know i wanted you to get me?” you ask with furrowed brows and he chuckles before parking.
“you’re predictable.”
“oh.” you jumped out of the car and followed rafe into the house.
“you hungry or anything?” he asks and you shake your head no. “what did you eat?” the two of you walked to the kitchen and he grabbed a beer from the fridge.
“pasta but i didn’t even get to have my desert.” a pout rests on your features and he chuckles, bringing the bottle to his lips.
“neither did i kid. gonna have to have something else.” he eyes you and you feel your face heat up.
“you’re such a perv.” you tell him and he nods.
“yeah, yeah such a perv keep playing all coy princess. we both know how much you love it.” he walks by you and begins making his way to his room, you following closely behind.
“is everyone at the dinner?” you ask quietly, trailing behind him like a lost puppy before he stops letting you by him into his room.
“why? you scared someone might hear you again?” he asks, pushing you against his bedroom door.

“Three Weeks”
Kim Seungmin x Reader
Warnings: 18+ (MDNI), penetration, language, lowercase intended, kinda sub!seungmin, whiny!seungmin, dickhead!seungmin
Summary: seungmin has been ignoring you for three weeks and you’re over it
a/n: i know i primarily write for bada but i also have a hyper fixation on seungmin and simon dominic so once in awhile i’ll drop something about them and some others too🤸🏽
three weeks. it’s been three weeks since your best friend confessed his feelings towards you and three weeks since he’s ghosted you. so much for having feelings for you.
you’ve done everything. called, texted, called his friends, you even showed up at his dance practice but he hid somewhere in the building and you’re just too lazy to look around (and you’ve gotten lost in there before. you don’t need it happening again.)
it’s becoming unbearable. you haven’t seen him in so long it hurts. you immediately grab your phone dialing chris’ number.
“hey y/n!” he exclaims.
“is seungmin around?” you ask sadly.
his once happy tone turned sad, “he’s at the dorms. y/n are you okay?”
you open your mouth to respond to his question but close it, opting with an, “can i go over there?”
“yeah should i let him-“ you cut him off.
“no please. thanks chris love you, muah.” you blow a kiss through the phone and hang up.
grabbing your shoes and keys, you hop in your car and drive over the the dorms. you throw on a mask and put on a hat before running into the building and running up the stairs to the door. you pound on it anxiously.
“dammit jeongin you just left- oh…” seungmin opened the door, he thought it was the beloved maknae but it was in fact not. instead it was you. you angrily push him back into the dorm before shutting and locking the door.
“what the hell seungmin?” you say. “it’s been three fucking weeks. why are you avoiding me?”
he doesn’t respond, walking to the couch instead.
“kim seungmin i know you hear me.” you follow, your voice cracking.
“you should go home y/n.” he mumbles as he starts scrolling on his phone.
you snatch it, putting it out of reach. when he tries going for it you push him back on the couch, climbing on his lap and pinning his arms to his side.
his eyes widen, “y/n get up.” he says,
“just listen to me!” you squirm, struggling to hold him down. “i just want you to know i like you too! i didn’t want to tell you over the phone this has to be said in person.”
“y/n you have to get up.” he says, ignoring everything you said.
but it’s too late.
you open your mouth to yell at him but then you feel it. he’s hard and you feel it pressing against your ass. he blushes and you let go of his wrists. “i’m… sorry.”
“can you just get up and go home so i can take care of this?” he mumbles.
your hands trail down his chest, dipping under his shirt to scratch at his abs lightly. “let me take care of it.” you say softly.
“why would y-you do that?” he asks jerking when your nails drag across his lower stomach.
“because i like you too seungmin. i’ve always thought about this..” you whisper in his ear, pulling his sweats down. “i wish you would’ve let me talk instead of ignoring me for three fucking weeks.” you stand up to take your bottoms off and climb back on him. you waste no time sinking onto his dick, trying not to make noise.
him, on the other hand, was a moaning, whimpering mess. “fuck you feel so good.” he whines.
his hands caress your waist as you bounce on him, hands tangled in his hair. you let out little moans in his ear, loving the way his dick hit your spot perfectly.
“shit y/n stop clenching i’m gonna cum.” he whimpers.
you stop clenching, in fact you stop moving all together. “apologize.” you whisper, “apologize or you can’t cum.”
seungmin throws his head back, “please y/n i’m so close.”
“say you’re sorry. sorry for ignoring me. sorry for being mean.” you pick up your pace again, bouncing on his dick like you’re a basketball being dribbled down the court by steph curry.
“fuck i’m sorry!!” he moans out. “i’m sorry baby. fuck i’m cumming!” he pulls you down flush against his pelvis as he fills you up, the feeling making you cum on him with a loud moan.
you both pant, holding each other close. your legs quiver against his hips. he grabs the blanket on the back of the couch wrapping it around you both after laying down with him still inside you.
it was quiet. you both enjoyed the comfortable silence.
until,
“god did you have to fuck on the couch? it’s bad enough i had to hear your.” lino says walking back to his room.
“oh yeah, lino’s here.” seungmin says.
“seungmin!”

Shin-won had left to attend the lab results meanwhile you fidgeted while sitting next to Jungkook.
Damn this is getting awkward.
Jungkook cleared his throat, "Um.. about earlier.."
"Hm?" You looked at him in anticipation.
"Uh., it wasn't my intention to react to your touch- I- I MEAN.. ugh" Jungkook immediately buried his face in his palms, "I'm sorry." He sighed.
"Well.." You scratched the nape of your neck, "It wasn’t really your fault, I understand." You said in a tone which was a mix of awkwardness, sympathy and uncertainty.
Jungkook removed the hands from his face and looked at you, "You sure are not pissed at me? I mean... I'm just saying, what.. if.. it happens again? What should i do?" He asked you with worry swimming in his orbs.
You shook your head, "i dont know.. Ah! Why dont I consult the chief about this?"
He shrugged his shoulders, "You think he'll help us? I highly doubt that.. still, there's no harm in asking anyway!"
You rolled your eyes, "Again with your daily slander about the chief, anyways i'm calling."
You fished out your phone from the pocket and dialed your chief's number.
"Hello chief?"
"Yes Y/N, how's your experiment going on?" Oh great, he's enthusiastic about it, he'll surely give his two cents of advice.. or so you thought.
"Uh.. well.. we've actually encountered a crisis so hoped if you-"
"Y/N sweetieee... if youve encountered a crisis, you ought solve it, not call me!"
"But I-"
"Y/N you're my most trusted junior, if there's a problem then I firmly believe that you'll definitely succeed in overcoming it. Now now I'm getting late for a seminar, update me when you're ready with a sample."
And he cut the call before you could say anything further.
You scoffed, "Hah?" You were baffled totally! "Look at him, not even bothered to listen! No wonder his wife doesn't love him-" You stopped as soon as you realised who was sitting next to you.
Jungkook who kept looking at you in amusement burst into a fit of laughter, "And I thought someone had a problem with me slandering the chief."
You looked at the smug smile on his face which made you poke your tongue inside your cheeks, "Fine I admit! He really deserves the slander."
You sighed and cracked your knuckles, "About the problem we have at hand, it's best that I keep monitoring you.. and.. uh.. maybe.." You hissed, "Maybe I can continue to help you with.. that.. yeah." You bit your lip while thinking about the possible consequences.
"You said it yourself Y/N, don't back out later." He said, his voice turning serious all of a sudden.
Why he did he become serious all of a sudden? Why... Did he feel he was in danger? Does he not trust you enough that he needs a solid answer from you?
You gulped, "Yeah, I know I said that and I'll remember it. I only want the best for you and--" You paused as soon as you looked at sweat forming on Jungkook's head, you contorted your eyebrows, is it repeating again?
"And- and.. what?" Jungkook said while lightly panting, he clearly looked uncomfortable yet he didn't utter a single word of help.
"Jungkook you don't look okay?" Yes he didn't, and it clearly looked that he was feeling dizzy.
"Jungkook you need my help right???"
"Ah- ah.. I .. ah.." He was gasping for air now with his right hand hitting his chest.
Of course Y/N he clearly needs your help, it was an emergency!
You sensed that and quickly kept your hand on his forehead.. To your surprise, nothing really happened.
"Y- Y/N I ca- can't... ahh... breath.. ahhh" Your eyes went wide and you didn't know what to do, you didn't even have any inhaler in your house and buying one and coming back is too risky for he might die in that time.
You kept your hand on his chest, "Jungkook, my touch isn't working I don't know what to do!" You were panicking, completely.
Jungkook looked at you in daze and before you could do anything, he latched his lips onto yours. You were taken aback and was about to punch him on instinct until you realised what he was doing.
He was sucking the air out from you.
So you tried to keep on helping him with breathing in air from your nose and him sucking it out from your mouth.
After a few minutes it seemed that he could finally breathe on his own so he detached his mouth from yours.
You were still facing in his direction trying to process what both of you just did while he let himself sink in the sofa and stared at the ceiling.
"Ah.. it feels much better now, thought I was going to die or something." He said and closed his eyes peacefully, suddenly the image of your lips appeared before his eyes. He slowly opened his eyes and touched his lips with his forefinger.
He felt a throbbing inside his pants.
Unnoticed by you, Jungkook had a slight smirk on him which he quickly hid the next second.
He turned towards you and called out your name, "Y/N!"
"Yes, what is it?" You asked him.
"Is.." He tilted his head and continued, "the antidote even working?"
You had no answer, all you could do now is to pray for it to work ASAP.
"I failed as a scientist, didn't I?" You said while feeling ashamed of yourself, "None of this would've happened if I didn't present the idea of making this shot that day, you wouldn't have suffered like this and---"
"Hushh!" Jungkook shut you up while placing his forefinger on your lips, "I and Shin-won are together in this with you since the very beginning so don't you dare say it was you who caused all of this."
Of course Jungkook knew it was his own fault for taking the dose triple the safe limit but he won't say that aloud just yet, because he had other plans in his mind.
He slowly rubbed your lower lip with his thumb and then spoke, "You are not a bad scientist as long as you keep your promise of continuing to help me. You didn't forget it just yet, did you?"
Jungkook didn't really do anything bad yet why did you shiver at his question?
You grew pale as you didn't know what was waiting for you ahead.
They say that a man fears darkness is because he can't see, he fears what he can't see and doesn't know what lies there in the unknown, he fears that what he can't see may harbour something deadly.
Which was exactly what your future looked like with him to you.
EHE BOYY YAN!JK IS FINALLY SEEING HIS AWAKENING JAJKJAKJKAKASKJ ALSO SMUT IN NEXT CHAP HAKAJSKJASKJ stay tuned ;) <33 alsooo the responses for dose 1 really caught me off guard ughhh ily guys sm 😭😭💟 may ur pillows be cold tonight!! Mwahh

Something About "Autonomy" and all that
Summary: Kitt is programmed to follow Michael's every order. And on a calm day, Michael finally realizes this, and he can't put into words what it might mean.
4601 words
---
"Not this station again." Kitt lamented as Michael tweaked the radio dial.
"Oh, come on, pal, they're playing Cindy! You can't say no to Cindy."
"I certainly can." There was a smile in his voice as his modulator lights flashed- Michael knew him well enough to tell that.
The radio fizzed, and the bright vocals were replaced by the whine of violins. How Kitt even found this stuff was beyond Michael.
"Geez. Turn the radio back, Kitt. Quit teasing-"
In an instant, the station changed back to the one Michael had selected. Kitt's voice modulator lights did not even flicker. He waited an extra second, five seconds, ten seconds for any sort of protest from the AI, but there was only silence.
Well, not silence, but Michael couldn't hear the singer on the radio anymore. Not when he was listening for any other sort of sound in the cabin around him; the hum of fans, the activation of dashboard lights, the subtle moves and changes of the car.
"Kitt?" He asked.
"Yes, Michael?"
"Why'd you change the radio back?"
"You told me to."
"But you don't like my music."
"An astute observation, Michael."
"Then you didn't have to change it back."
"Of course I did. Don't be absurd."
Michael gripped the steering yoke tighter. "No, you didn't."
"Michael, really. Part of my annoyance with your music is merely comedic. Please don't be concerned about it. I can stop if you'd like."
"No!" Michael said louder. The word had slipped out, like a tire on an icy road. He took a breath and quieted his voice again. "No. I don't want you to do that."
"Then what would you like?" Kitt's tone was calm, but Michael knew it was an illusion- it was clinical, the kind of tone that he only used when speaking with authorities on the phone.
"I don't want you changing yourself for me."
Kitt's lights flickered, but he said nothing.
"We clear?" Michael asked.
"Again, don't be absurd. I'm a learning computer. It's my purpose to modify myself to best support you."
"You don't serve me."
There was a garbled pitch preceding his next sentence- was that a laugh? "Of course I do."
Michael couldn't speak.
"To further elaborate, both you and I have emphasized that ours is an equal partnership. In that way, you could argue that we are both serving each other- but do not get confused, Michael. I'm programmed to follow your orders."
"Turn the music off." Michael says, on instinct, only to have his breath catch in his throat as the song dies immediately. Instinct. Pure instinct.
"Your heart rate is elevated. This is causing you distress." Kitt replies.
"You're my partner."
"I am also your car. Do cars not need drivers?"
"You don't."
"Actually, I do. Michael, it's not like you to doubt your importance to our mission. What is going on?"
He breathed, trying to calm his heart as well as the unnamed thing that felt like it was crawling around in his chest. It was something like dread. He didn't feel dread very often. Couldn't say he liked it very much.
He started off slowly, giving time for his thoughts to solidify. It must have seemed like an eternity to the AI. "Kitt, every police officer knows what he's getting into when he signs up for the job."
"Understandably."
"You don't become a cop on accident. In fact, you don't do any sort of work as an accident."
"Surely people don't plan on working in drive throughs, do they?"
"They still have to fill out their application and hand over their resume." Michael snapped. "But people, people have got options."
"And?"
"Kitt. . . if you had the choice, would you be doing this line of work?"
"Of course!" Kitt raised his volume. "Michael, what has gotten into you? Of course I'd stay with you. This is what I was built for. I'd surely feel unfulfilled anywhere else. Could you imagine me trying to find other employment? Trying to be a taxi, or heaven forbid, a delivery driver? I shudder just thinking about it."
"But you don't have a choice."
"Why on Earth would I need one? I have you, Bonnie, Devon, the Foundation- I couldn't ask for a better set of circumstances."
"But you don't have a choice." Michael tried to inject even a fraction of the feeling within his chest into his voice, even if he knew Kitt couldn't figure it any more than he himself could.
"I fail to see your-"
"What if I was a jerk to you, huh? I was a real jerk to you at first, don't you remember? What if I never got better? What if I left trash in your seats and never let you listen to your own music or-"
"Permission to interrupt?"
Michael's first instinct was to snap- he didn't like being interrupted. He'd already told Kitt that long ago. . . and Kitt had listened, hadn't he?
"Of course." He said.
"What you're proposing is irrelevant. That is purely a hypothetical scenario, not reflective of reality. A strawman argument." Kitt replied.
"Just consider it. If you had ended up with a sleazebag, how would you have gotten out of that?"
"I would have reported any behavioral infractions of this hypothetical version of yourself to Devon."
"And if he ignored them?"
"He wouldn't."
"But what if he did?"
"Michael," Kitt paused, something like a breath, "what you're arguing about is just semantics. Let's end this conversation, and let me take the wheel so that you can calm down."
"No. I want to keep driving."
It was in the silence that followed that Michael's grip on the steering yolk grew looser as he realized what he’d done.
---
"Bonnie."
"Hmm?" The mechanic looked up from her book.
"Kitt's programmed to follow my orders, right?"
"Of course. Has there been a problem?"
A problem, she asked. A problem with Kitt, as if it would somehow be his fault instead of-
"So he doesn't have a choice."
Bonnie closed her book. "Yes?"
Under her gaze, he struggled to organize the thoughts in his brain just the same as he struggled under Kitt's. "Is that right?"
"Michael, what's going on?"
"You and I both know that Kitt is more than just silicon and wires." That was a statement he could be confident of. "So is it right that he has no choice?"
"He needs to follow your orders. You're his driver."
"Does he need a driver?"
"Are you arguing against your own employment?" Bonnie put her book on the end table and stood from her chair. "As much as I'd love to remove humans from the equation entirely, the technology isn't there yet. I can't give Kitt legs and hands yet, so I have to settle with you."
"I'm being serious!" Michael snapped.
"As was I!"
"Kitt's a person! People have rights, don't they?"
She looked him up and down. "Didn't take you for the philosophical type."
"I'm not being philosophical, I'm being a good person!" He spat. "If I'm holding Kitt here against his will-"
"Against his will? Michael, he likes you more than I do."
"Because he doesn't know that he could have other options. Because there's code in his head telling him to obey me even if he doesn't like it."
Bonnie opened her mouth, but didn't say anything.
"So you're gonna remove that code." Michael continued.
"Hold on. You don't know what you're talking about."
"Of course I know what I'm-"
"And we need to have this conversation with Kitt."
That much he could agree on. "He should be finished discussing data with Devon by now."
Bonnie grabbed her jacket from the back of the chair. Michael led the way out of the drawing room of the mansion, tracing the fastest path back to the garage, a route so routine he could walk it blind.
Kitt's glossy frame was parked in the same spot as always inside the garage- there was not even a tire mark out of place on the concrete. His scanner swooped back and forth at a pace equal to that of footsteps, before calming as he noticed Michael and Bonnie's entrance.
"Apologies. I wasn't expecting you."
"You done with Devon?" Michael asked.
"Yes. I just finished sending the last of my report."
"Good job." He replied instinctively.
"Bonnie, you look upset. And Michael, I can't say you look much better. What is going on?" Kitt asked, sliding his scanner in their direction.
"Michael got it up in his head that you don't want to be here." Bonnie said. "So we're going to-"
"I didn't say that!" Michael snapped.
"Oh. This again." Kitt lamented.
"You've talked about this before?" Bonnie asked.
"He doesn't get it! None of you get it!" He gestured to them both. "Something's wrong."
"Alright," Bonnie crossed her arms, "tell us exactly what it is you have a problem with."
Michael paused. Yet again his brain was having trouble forming simple words. This was starting to get irritating- he'd thought faster under fire of actual bullets before, so what was tripping him up so badly?
Bonnie tapped her fingers against her arm. Kitt waited without a sound.
He went with something he'd brought up earlier. "Kitt doesn't have a choice."
"You're going to have to be more specific." Bonnie replied.
"I don't see how that fact is relevant." Kitt added.
"Kitt is forced to follow my orders-"
"By design." Bonnie replied.
"Bonnie, let him finish." Kitt said.
Michael gave a nod to him, breathed out whatever retort he had planned for her, and then started over.
"Kitt is forced to follow my orders. . . and I'm not okay with that."
A small few pixels of Kitt's scanner lit up, but he paused, waiting for Bonnie. She, however, only stared at her arms.
"Why are you not comfortable with our arrangement anymore?" Kitt asked.
"Because I didn't think about it when I really should have. You're my partner. My buddy. Pal, I consider you an equal."
"I don't doubt that, Michael."
"Which means that you shouldn't be forced to follow my orders."
"It's not 'being forced'." Bonnie looked up. "It's how he's programmed."
"You stuck a rule in his head that he can't say no to me."
Kitt spoke. "Michael, that is a vast oversimplification and I still fail to see the issue. It's my purpose to follow your orders."
Michael looked Bonnie in the eye and gestured to Kitt's hood. "You don't see the problem here?"
She paused. "Michael, he's an AI-"
"Put him in a human body and he could walk and talk like the rest of us. Don't act like he couldn't."
"I strongly disagree." Kitt routed his voice through his interior speakers instead of his external ones, creating a sort of muffled effect not unlike that of a whisper.
The fact that Kitt had bothered to figure out a way to achieve that sort of effect at all was further evidence to prove Michael's point.
Bonnie walked over and put her hand on Kitt's hood. "I see what you're getting at, but he's not a human. He needs his programming to function."
"I know that! It's not about that."
“Michael,” Kitt said, “do you know that I’m quite fond of our arrangement?”
“Because you don’t know any better. Because you can’t know any better, not with that rule in your head that says you can’t disagree with me.”
“I certainly can disagree with you! I’m doing so right now. Seriously, Michael, do you remember the countless times we’ve bickered or quarreled?”
“That’s not what I. . .”
“I do not simply agree with everything you say. Do you really think of me so lowly?”
“No. Of course not. But you’re still under the control of whatever I say, right? If I told you, right now, that I didn’t want you to like your music anymore, would you be forced to change your mind?”
“While that would be cruel and unusual punishment, I would do so.” Kitt replied, but before Michael could speak again, he continued, “because I trust your judgment.”
“I- thanks.” Michael said quietly.
“And that’s the root of it. I give my suggestions, I disagree with your actions, yet at the end of the day, we all know that you have the ability to make decisions that I can’t even fathom that lead us to success. If I had a coin, as they say, for every time I failed to understand your reasoning, I’d have a significant sum of change. I can calculate the exact dollar value, if you’d like.”
“No need.” Bonnie covered her mouth to hide a giggle.
Michael wasn’t laughing. “I’m glad that you trust me that much. That still doesn’t change the fact that I have the power and you don’t.”
“Come here, Michael?”
Kitt opened his door. Michael walked over, ran his hand over the handle, before slipping into the driver’s seat. Before he could reach out and shut the door, Kitt did it for him.
“In case you haven’t noticed,” Kitt’s lights flickered dimly. “I don’t want your ‘power’.”
“Why not?”
“Because I can’t make decisions like you. And frankly, I don’t want to. It sounds very stressful. I’m already managing a menagerie of functions. I do not intend to add decision-making to that list.”
“Of course you can follow my lead, pal. I’m not saying I don’t want you with me.”
“Then what are you implying?”
“Humans follow orders. But humans always have a choice to not follow an order they disagree with.”
“And that delay in decision time could cost you your life.” Kitt raised his volume.
“What do you mean?”
“Bonnie, could you explain something for me, please?”
Kitt opened his passenger door and Bonnie sat down.
“What’d I miss?” She asked.
“Can you explain what factors determine the length of my response time?”
“Sure. That’s easy, unless you really want me to dive into the specifics.”
“An overview would be more appropriate.”
“In any given scenario, Kitt has to consider all of the relevant data from his scanners. Where his body is in the world, what’s around him, and so on. Then he determines what’s needed of him, and how he can best operate to fulfill that need so long as it doesn’t defy his core programming to protect and uphold human life.
“And if I’m not provided with a need to fulfill?” Kitt asked.
“Well, then you have to decide what to do, right?” Bonnie shrugged towards the dashboard. “And that is the tricky part. Most of the breakthroughs that we made with Kitt were towards his ability to figure out what to do in the absence of input. Think about it- there’s a million things that you or I could do at this given moment in time.”
“We have choices.”
“Exactly. But computers need to know what variables to calculate in order to function. Where Kitt is special is that he can determine his own instructions to operate by.”
“Okay, makes sense.”
“And it’s extremely intensive on his operating system to do. Driving is one thing- the rules of the road provide a good, defined set of decisions for him to choose from -but everything else is significantly more of a struggle. Right, Kitt?”
“I wouldn’t go that far.” Kitt said meekly.
“Frankly, when we first designed him, we never imagined that he’d do much more than be able to drive himself.”
“I resent that.” Kitt said, significantly louder.
“-Which means that he’s proven more successful than our wildest hopes.” Bonnie smiled and placed her hand on the dashboard.
“That’s interesting and all,” Michael said, “but what does this have to do with him following my orders?”
“Michael, if I had to stop and evaluate every alternative option to your commands whenever you gave them, my reaction time would be in minutes, not seconds.” Kitt replied. “Because I’m programmed to follow your orders, I don’t even have to think about it, and that saves me a significant amount of processing power and time that could be better used to keep you safe.”
Michael paused.
“Therefore it’s to my benefit that I remain programmed the way that I am.” Kitt continued.
“I get it.” Michael said. “I really do. But that’s a lot of trust.”
“Is this new to you?”
“‘Course not.” Michael couldn’t help but laugh a little. “But it still doesn’t erase the fact that you’ve never had a choice otherwise.”
“I’ve tried to explain it to the best of my abilities. If you still don’t understand, perhaps you never will.” Kitt replied.
“No, I think you’re the one not understanding. You’ve been programmed this way since the day you came online, right?”
“Yeah, he has.” Bonnie replied.
“So not even for a day, not even for a second, you’ve never experienced otherwise.”
“I’m failing to understand what ‘otherwise’ might mean.” Kitt replied.
“Okay, how about this.” Michael sighed. “I want you to try having that programming removed for a little bit.”
“What? Michael, don’t be absurd. I refuse to go on a mission with you while my system is compromised-”
“Not on a mission. Just around here. Surely Devon can schedule us a day off to try this.”
“Still, it would be a significant modification, wouldn’t it?”
“Actually,” Bonnie said, “it wouldn’t be too difficult to disable.”
“It wouldn’t?” Kitt sounded aghast.
“From a technical standpoint. What I’m saying is that it is doable.”
“Kitt, I’m not trying to hurt you. But I want you to try this.”
“Why?”
“Because it’s important to me.”
There was only a second’s hesitation. “Alright. I trust you.”
—
It didn’t take Bonnie long to get Kitt plugged into her work station. Soon, the lines of code that made up Kitt, strands of everything that he was and maybe everything he ever would be scrolled up and down the screen according to Bonnie’s touch. Michael couldn’t read any of it, of course. The one book he’d tried to read on binary already didn’t make much sense and he knew that Kitt was vastly, vastly more complex than that.
Bonnie narrowed in on a specific line, typed in a command, and turned around. “That should be it.”
“What?” Michael asked. “Just like that?”
“Just like that?” Kitt asked simultaneously.
“It should be. But we’d have to test it to confirm. Michael?”
“Kitt,” Micheal hesitated. “Open your door.”
Kitt opened his driver’s side door immediately.
“Hmm.” Bonnie turned back around.
“There’s no need, Bonnie.” Kitt said. “I’ve verified that the corresponding section of core programming has been nullified for the time being.”
“Then why did you open your door?”
“Why wouldn’t I?”
Michael stared into Kitt’s interior, stared at the flickering lights of his voice modulator.
“Kitt, turn on my favorite radio station.”
“We’re out of range of that one, how about 98.6, Pop Central?”
“Turn it on.”
Kitt’s speakers activated and Madonna blared into the garage.
“Okay, stop, stop.” Michael waved. Kitt stopped as soon as the first hiss of an ‘s’ left his mouth. “Buddy, you’re supposed to try saying no to me.”
“But why would I?”
“Because you hate my music.”
“But it’s harmless.” Kitt retorted.
“But you didn’t have to turn it on.”
“Why wouldn’t I?”
Okay, this wasn’t working. Bonnie, who was now leaning up against her work station, only gave a shrug, before glancing towards the garage door.
Michael got an idea. “Kitt, back through the garage door, now.”
“Wha-” Kitt’s voice fizzled out. “Michael, that’s absurd.”
“Do it. Now.”
“That would cause property damage to the FLAG facility! There’s absolutely no source of danger anywhere near here, and therefore no justification-”
“You’re thinking about it, aren’t you?” Michael smiled.
But instead of a witty comeback, or a snarky insult, or even a swoop of his scanner, Kitt grew deathly still.
“See, that wasn’t so hard, now was it?”
“Michael.” Kitt said quietly.
He walked closer. “What is it?”
“I don’t like this.” Kitt cracked his window and spoke from his interior speakers. Michael had to lean his ear close to the window to even hear it.
“What’s wrong?”
“Don’t ever give me a false order again.”
“Huh?”
“Do not command me to do something that you do not intend me to do.” Kitt enunciated every consonant.
“Kitt, that was just an-”
“I don’t like this. How much longer do you want Bonnie to disable the code?”
Michael put his hand on Kitt’s roof. “I was hoping to go out for a drive with you at least.”
“I don’t want to.”
“I know you don’t, but I want you to feel what it’s-”
“No.”
Michael stopped. He felt a shudder pass through Kitt’s frame, and the hum of cooling fans leaked into the open air.
“I refuse.” Kitt said, quieter. “You have asked me to express my ability to refuse, and I’m doing so now. If an emergency were to occur when we were off FLAG premises, I want to operate at my full capacity.”
“But-” Michael stopped himself. “Okay.”
“. . . this is strange. I don’t like denying you like this.”
“I know you don’t.”
“You were worried that if I was given the choice, I would leave you.” Kitt continued.
“I’m not worried about that. Never was.” Michael lied. “I was more worried about forcing you to do things you didn’t want to do.”
“Sure,” said Kitt, “but since I sense that it’s important to you that I tell you this during this time: I want to continue being your partner. I want to serve you and follow your orders.”
Michael smiled.
“And that while I don’t like your music, I will tolerate it because it makes you happy. While sometimes your decisions seem questionable, your judgment is sound, and you have yet to steer me wrong, both figuratively and literally.”
“Well!” Michael slapped Kitt’s roof. “That’s great to hear.”
“I’m glad you think so.” Kitt swooped his scanner once. “Imagine if I had ended up with a driver who didn’t care about my opinion. I certainly can’t.”
The reminder made Michael pause, but he recovered quickly enough. “Me neither, Kitt. Me neither.”
“Now that this is settled, Bonnie, if you would?”
Bonnie turned back to her computer and began typing away. Kitt was silent until she turned around again and gave a thumbs up.
“There. That’s better.” Kitt said. “Michael, are you satisfied with our experiment?”
“Yeah.” Michael tapped his fingers against Kitt’s roof in whatever pattern he could think of, anything to distract him from the lingering traces. “I am. Thanks.”
“You’re welcome. Now get some rest!” Kitt opened the door and bumped Michael slightly. “You know it’s never long until our next mission.”
Michael walked to the exit to the garage, only turning around to give a salute to his trusty getaway car. “Yes sir!”
—
He tried his damndest but he couldn’t follow Kitt’s orders. He sat up in his bed. The bed here at the Foundation mansion was more comfortable than most of the hotels he usually stayed in. Whether it was comfier than Kitt’s interior was up for debate. He rubbed his face with his hands.
On his nightstand was his commlink. Kitt felt comfortable enough here at the mansion to let him take it off at night. Yet its weight was missing from Michael’s wrist. Maybe he’d sleep better with it on, but he didn’t want to disturb Kitt from his own rest. Or. . . whatever it was that Kitt did at night while the world was asleep.
Michael sighed. He reached over and grabbed the commlink. Immediately the red light on it flashed. Kitt was awake and metaphorically looking his way, so he might as well let him get the full picture. He slipped the commlink on and tightened it against his wrist, ensuring that all the biological monitors were lined up how they were supposed to be.
The red light flickered, before growing solid. “Michael, what is it?”
“Hey Kitt. Can’t sleep.”
“It’s about me again, isn’t it?”
Right on the money, as always. “Maybe.”
“Do you want to talk?”
“Here’s fine.” Michael gestured around his room.
“I’ve done some reading on the subject to try and understand what is bothering you.” Kitt said. “So far I haven’t been able to understand much of it. I’m afraid I’m not the target audience.”
“Gosh, you aren’t reading the really old stuff, are you? That stuff’s all quacks.”
“You might not want to tell Devon that.”
Michael’s heart skipped a beat. “You haven’t told him about this, have you?”
“I have not.”
“Good.”
“Why?”
“I. . . don’t think he’d understand.”
“In all fairness, it appears I don’t either.” Kitt replied. “Do you want to try and explain it to me?”
“Trust me, pal, I’ve been trying to do that all day.” Michael laughed. “But I’ll try it again.”
“Take your time.” Kitt said gently. His light on the commlink gave a slow blink.
Michael closed his eyes. Rubbed his face again. Tried to think back to his days before he met Kitt. It was days like these that he felt out of touch with normal society- days where he was thinking about things that a normal person wouldn’t spend half a second on, things like “personhood” and “free will” and all that stuff. Bonnie was right. He wasn’t a philosopher.
After a few minutes, he still couldn’t come up with anything that sounded reasonable. All he had was his own discomfort. Maybe that was it.
Michael tapped his commlink. “You still there?”
“Of course, Michael.”
“Maybe it’s like- maybe it’s that I would hate to be in your position.”
“You would?” Kitt was aghast.
“Now don’t take it the wrong way.” Michael wagged his finger as if Kitt could see him. “But I couldn’t. I couldn’t do it.”
“Why not?”
“Because I can’t imagine being forced to do whatever someone says, regardless of how much I trusted them. If someone had total control of my life, could override my movements, could even override how I think with just a few words. . . I’d be terrified, not going to lie to you.”
Kitt paused. “You would be.”
“I’d hate it.”
“It’s as you said: you could not imagine it.” Kitt stated. “Perhaps I’m beginning to understand your discomfort.”
“And the idea that I could be doing that to somebody else is. . .” Michael couldn’t think of a word.
“Equally terrifying?”
“Maybe.”
“Michael, if it helps, I’m grateful you consider me to be your equal. But I’m not a human. You are. I think your idea of what is ‘terrifying’ might be very different from mine.”
“But that’s the kicker- should it be?”
“I don’t see why it shouldn’t be. Perhaps one day I’ll have a greater understanding of your fear. But until then, I will have to settle with making sure my opinion is heard.” Kitt injected some levity in his voice.
“I’d appreciate that, pal.”
“Now, is there anything I can do to help you get some rest?”
“Unfortunately not. That’s between me and my dumb human body, I’m afraid.”
“There it is again!” Kitt exclaimed. “That difference between body and mind that seems to preoccupy a large portion of human philosophical thought on personhood.”
“Goodnight, Kitt.” Michael laughed.
“Goodnight, Michael.” Kitt lowered his volume again.
Michael slid off the commlink and set it back on the nightstand. He pulled himself back under the covers and closed his eyes.
He didn’t sleep, but the clenching feeling in his chest finally lifted.

Just Stay With Them ❀ Kento Nanami ft Ino
Masterlist HFBU
The sun is high in the sky, casting a warm glow over the Tokyo Jujutsu High campus. The faint hum of cicadas buzzes through the air, blending with the soft rustle of leaves. You’re standing in the training grounds, watching Ino sweat and struggle through another round of exercises. His determination is admirable, even if his technique leaves much to be desired.
"Keep your stance lower," you instruct, voice steady and calm. "It'll give you a stronger base."
Ino grits his teeth and adjusts his posture. He looks up at you, eyes filled with a mix of respect and frustration. You’ve been training him for weeks now, ever since Nanami entrusted him to your care. Your boyfriend is often busy with missions, but he always makes sure you’re never left alone when he’s not around.
You notice the way Ino's muscles strain, his movements still rough around the edges. Despite his flaws, he has potential. You see it in the way he pushes himself, in the fire that burns behind his eyes.
"That's better," you say, nodding in approval. "Now, try the sequence again."
Ino takes a deep breath and starts the routine, his body moving through the motions with newfound precision. You watch closely, ready to offer guidance or correction as needed. But as the seconds tick by, you feel an unsettling sensation creeping up on you. It's a familiar feeling, one you’ve learned to recognize all too well.
A tingling sensation runs through your limbs, and the world around you starts to blur. Your vision narrows, and a cold sweat breaks out on your forehead. You know what’s coming, but there’s no stopping it now.
"Ino..." you manage to say, voice strained. "I think... I'm having..."
Before you can finish the sentence, your body convulses, and you collapse to the ground. The seizure takes hold, and your mind is swept away in a chaotic whirlwind.
Ino’s eyes widen in panic. "Oh no! What do I do? What do I do?" he mutters to himself, looking around frantically. He drops to his knees beside you, his hands hovering uselessly in the air. "Stay calm, Ino. Think. Think!"
Remembering what Nanami told him about your condition, Ino pulls out his phone with trembling hands and dials Nanami’s number. The phone rings, each second feeling like an eternity until finally, Nanami picks up.
"Ino? What's going on?" Nanami’s voice is calm, but there's an edge of concern.
"It’s Y/N," Ino blurts out, voice shaking. "They’re having a seizure. I don't know what to do!"
Nanami’s tone changes instantly, becoming more urgent yet still controlled. "Alright, Ino, listen to me carefully. First, make sure they're lying on their side. It helps keep their airway clear."
Ino follows the instructions, gently turning you onto your side. He can see the muscles in your face twitching, your eyes unfocused and distant. His heart is racing, but Nanami's voice on the other end of the line keeps him grounded.
"Make sure there’s nothing around them that could cause injury," Nanami continues. "Move any sharp objects away."
Ino quickly scans the area, pushing aside a few training weapons and ensuring there’s nothing that could harm you. "Okay, done. What now?"
"Now, you just wait. Most seizures only last a few minutes," Nanami says. "Keep an eye on the time. If it goes on for more than five minutes, call for medical help immediately."
Ino glances at his watch, mentally marking the time. "Alright. Got it."
Nanami’s voice softens, a hint of his worry breaking through. "How are they doing now?"
"They're still seizing," Ino replies, his voice trembling. "But I think it’s starting to slow down."
"Good. Just stay with them. Talk to them if you can. Let them know they’re not alone."
Ino nods, even though Nanami can’t see him. He looks down at you, taking a deep breath to steady himself. "Y/N, it’s okay. I’m here. Nanami’s on his way. You’re going to be alright."
As the minutes pass, the seizure finally subsides. Your body relaxes, the convulsions easing until they stop completely. Ino lets out a sigh of relief, though he knows it’s not over yet. He keeps talking to you, his voice soft and reassuring.
"Nanami, it’s over," he says into the phone. "But they’re still unconscious."
"That’s normal," Nanami replies. "They'll be exhausted. Just stay with them until they wake up. I’m on my way."
Ino sits beside you, his heart still pounding. He watches your chest rise and fall with each breath, a reminder that you’re still here, still fighting. He can’t help but admire your strength, even in such a vulnerable state.
Minutes later, Nanami arrives. He rushes over to you, his usually composed demeanor cracked by worry. He kneels beside you, gently brushing the hair from your face.
"Y/N, I’m here," he murmurs, his voice filled with a tenderness that’s usually hidden behind his stoic exterior. "You’re safe."
Ino steps back, giving Nanami space but staying close in case he’s needed. He watches as Nanami checks your pulse, his movements sure and steady.
"Thank you, Ino," Nanami says, looking up at him. "You did well."
Ino blushes slightly, nodding. "I just... I didn’t want to mess up."
"You didn’t," Nanami reassures him. "You did exactly what you needed to."
After a while, you start to stir, your eyelids fluttering open. The world comes back into focus, and the first thing you see is Nanami’s face, his eyes filled with relief and love.
"Hey," you croak, your voice weak.
"Hey," he replies, a small smile tugging at his lips. "You gave us quite a scare."
You manage a weak smile in return. "Sorry about that."
"Don’t be," he says, his hand gently squeezing yours. "Just rest now. We’ll take care of everything."
Ino steps forward, a hesitant smile on his face. "I’m glad you’re okay, Y/N."
You look at him, gratitude shining in your eyes. "Thanks, Ino. For everything."
He rubs the back of his neck, looking a little embarrassed. "Just doing my job."
As you lie there, surrounded by the people who care about you, you feel a deep sense of comfort and security. You know that no matter what happens, you’re not alone. And with Nanami by your side, you have all the strength you need to face whatever comes next.

I don’t know if you have tiktok but have you seen that trend where girlfriends pretends to be on the phone with a friend and act all dramatic and shocked just to see if their boyfriends want to know the tea? I don’t know why but I feel like Eddie would secretly wanna know
Pairing: Eddie Munson x Reader
A/N: Hello friend! Thank you so much for the request! This was really fun to write! I really hope you like how this came out!
Also, yes I do have a TikTok, I’m on it way too much haha
“So then Jessica walks in on Andy and Tracy in his parents bedroom making out!” Robin said quietly as she sat across from you in the noisy cafeteria of Hawkins High.
“Oh my god, really?” You exclaimed softly, almost missing the small noise of interest that escaped from your boyfriend Eddie as he sat to your right.
“Really! I heard it from Sam who was standing right there when it happened!” She said, a large smile pulling at her lips as the bell rang to signal the end of the lunch break.
You and Robin loved to gossip about the happenings around the school, quietly judging your fellow classmates and the drama they found themselves in. Eddie on the other hand would ask why you cared so much. Who cares about what happened to some jock at some lame party? Not Eddie, or so he tried to make everyone believe. He would even seem to ignore gossip about his friends, like the time Steve got caught having sex with a girl in his car by the sheriff. But you’ve been noticing the small reactions that he’d have when the two of you would start sharing the news you heard. An almost silent gasp here, a quirk of the eyebrow there, a quiet scoff from across the room when you’re on the phone. Little things you took note of that showed you that he really did want to know.
You wanted to catch him in the act, tell a fake story that would be too juicy for him to pass up knowing the details of. You had plans for Eddie to come over to your house after Hellfire tonight and that’s when you’d set your plan in motion.
You were sitting on your bed, facing away from the window, your phone in your lap when you heard the signature sounds of Eddie climbing the side of your house. You picked up the phone receiver, the dial tone ringing in your ear as you made small noises of feigned interest. You had left your window open a crack for him and smiled as you heard him pull it open the rest of the way. You turned your head to look at him as he climbed through and landed clumsily in your room.
“Hey sweetheart!” He chirped happily with an excited smile once he saw you.
“Hey, baby!” You said quietly, placing your hand over the receiver for effect. “I’m talking to Robin, I’ll be off in a minute, pretty boy.” You smiled back, sending him an air kiss as he crossed the room. He pretended to catch the kiss in his hand and press it to his lips, beaming when you giggled. He then flopped himself down on your bed, resting his head in your lap as you leaned against your headboard. His eyes fluttered closed blissfully as you carded your free hand through his hair, relaxing into your touch.
You paused for a moment like you were listening to something through the phone, making small noises of interest as you listened to the dial tone before exclaiming, “Oh my god! Nancy did what?!” You watched Eddie’s eyebrows furrow. “But what happened with her and Jonathan?” You said quickly, trying not to smile when Eddie’s eyes shot open and he turned his head to look at you.
You paused again and then gasped loudly, “With Steve?? Are you serious!?”
Eddie couldn’t stop himself, he needed to know, “What happened?” He whispered, eyes wide with interest. You shushed him, trying not to burst into laughter at his expression and the small huff of annoyance he made.
“Dustin found them doing what?!” You practically yelled after a moment.
Eddie shot up and maneuvered himself onto his knees next to you, gesturing for you to pass the phone to him, whining out a little, “Babe! What’s happening?”
You furrowed your brows and shook your head, pretending to be listening to something on the line. “No fucking way! Jonathan said that to her?!” You exclaimed after a moment.
Eddie couldn’t handle being out of the loop anymore, he desperately needed to know the gossip, so he snatched the phone right out of your hand and brought it to his ear while saying, “What the hell is going on Robin?”
His eyebrows then knitted together in confusion as he was answered with a dial tone and your uncontrollable giggles. “You lying little monster!” He scolded as he narrowed his eyes playfully and tossed the phone in your lap.
“I knew you wanted to hear the gossip! Not such a waste of time after all, huh?” You teased, shooting him a mischievous grin as you put the phone back on your side table.
“I can’t believe you tricked me. How cruel! I’m wounded, sweetheart.” He said dramatically, his hands shooting to his heart as if he was injured as he flung himself backwards on the bed. “The love of my life lying to me! I’ll never recover!”
Your giggles continued to fill the room as he flopped around the bed, shaking your head at his antics. “Oh really? I’m so sorry Eds.” You exclaimed, matching his dramatic tone as you threw yourself onto him. “How can you ever forgive me?” You sent him a pout as you laid on his chest.
Eddie hummed in contemplation before looking at your pouting face, “I’ll forgive you sweetheart, but you owe me…” He thought for a second, “50 kisses. That’s all I'll accept, no less.” He said with faux seriousness, “Oh and a pizza.” He added, not being able to stop his bright smile as you burst into laughter.
The two of you settled down after a moment and Eddie ran his hand through your hair, “So nothing happened with Nancy and Jonathan?” He asked, still curious.
“Not that I know of, I just knew you wouldn’t be able to resist this time. I know you like hearing the gossip.” You teased, poking him playfully in the chest.
Eddie rolled his eyes and scoffed, “They’re our friends! Of course I wanna know!”
“Sure. Sure. Whatever you say, pretty boy.” You grinned.
“Shut up, you menace.” He scolded with a grin of his own. “You better start kissing baby, I’m not gonna kiss myself.” He sighed theatrically.
You beamed and lifted yourself up to hover over his face, pausing to admire your gorgeous boyfriend before beginning to pepper his lips with sweet kisses. Eddie sighed dreamily at the affection as he pulled you closer, neither of you keeping count as you melted into each other.

Chapter 5 << Masterlist >> Chapter 7
“Yeah, that’s not creepy.” Steve said as he looked up at the house before you.
After waking everyone up, you took Nancy’s car and headed over to the house you had seen in one of the many newspapers you had read when searching for information about Vecna.
“What exactly are we supposed to be looking for in this shithole?” Steve asked you as the two of you made your way to the nailed-down front door.
“We’re not sure. We just know this house is important to Vecna.” you explained him, your palm settling over one of the wooden plates on the door.
“Because Max saw it in Vecna’s red soup mind world?”
“Basically.” you answered your boyfriends, who nodded his head.
“Great.”
“Maybe it holds a clue to where Vecna is. Why he’s back. Why he killed the Creels. And how to stop him before he comes back for Max.” Dustin tried to keep the mood positive.
“We don’t think he’s in here, do we?” Lucas’ voice sounded, his eyes searching for some confirmation from all of you that nothing bad would happen here.
“Guess we’ll find out.” Max simply said, making all of you turn back to the front door.
“Ready?” you nodded at Steve and started removing the nails from the wood with the hammers in your hand. After clearing the door from the plates, Steve’s hand falls to the doorknob. He tries his best to open it but to no avail.
“It’s locked. Should I knock, see if anybody’s home?” he makes a weak attempt at a joke, earning a slight chuckle only from you.
“No need. I found a key.” Robin said while holding a big brick in her hand. As your eyes shot open, you took Steve’s hand in yours and left the porch to give Robin the clear.
The brick easily broke the stained window giving Steve the chance to open the door from the inside. He was the first one to enter the house, you second and the rest following behind, each of your eyes roaming around the abandoned house.
“Looks like someone forgot to pay their electric bill.” Lucas joked after his failed attempt to open a lamp.
You felt Dustin stand next to you handing you one of the flashlights he had in his bag. You both light them up, Steve’s eyes landing on you two.
“Where’d everyone get those?” he questioned.
“Do you need to be told everything? You’re not a child.” Dustin’s tone got too rude for your liking.
“You both are. Here.” you searched Dustin’s backpack and handed Steve one of the remaining flashlights. You had no idea how he fit everything in there.
“Thank you.” he said to you with a smile, when Max called out for you.
“Hey guys? You all see that, right?” he flashlight was pointing at the old grandfather clock.
“Yeah.” you told her.
“Is this what you saw? In your visions?” Nancy asked.
“I mean, it’s just a clock, right?” Robin wipes some of the dust covering the glass of the clock “Like a normal old clock.”
“Why is this wizard obsessed with clocks? Maybe he’s, like, a clockmaker or something?” you bit your lip as you listened to Steve try and figure out what was happening. On the other hand, Dustin couldn’t help his sharp tongue.
“Think you cracked the case, Steve.”
“Can you dial down the sarcasm?” you asked your brother who took a defensive stance.
“He’s starting it.” he pointed at Steve, who looked offended.
“How?”
“All I know is…” Nancy spoke up, ending your conversation “The answers are here. Somewhere. Okay, everyone stay in groups. Robin, upstairs.” the two girls disappeared upstairs. Next, Max and Lucas left to explore the floor you were on, leaving you with your brother and boyfriend.
“Come on, boys. Together once again.” you motioned for them to follow you up the stairs.
Behind you, Dustin smiled up at Steve, making the taller boy sigh and go after you. The action left Dustin offended.
“Was that a sigh?”
“No, I did not sigh.” Steve defended himself, but Dustin wasn’t buying it.
“Why did you sigh?”
“I didn’t sigh. Just come on, dude.”
“I heard you.”
“W-we’re just always partners, okay?”
“You don’t like being in the same group?” you asked him, joining on their bickering.
“No, no, not with you. With him.”
“I heard that too.” Dustin whined.
“Good for you.”
“What? Am I boring you? Is that it?”
“Exactly- No, the opposite.”
“If you don’t shut up, I’m forming my own group.” you told them, finally getting them to stop and follow you.
You ended up in a big, dusty room, looking around for anything that could help you. The three of you remained silent until Steve’s voice echoed through the room.
“Hey, uh, Hendersons?”
“Yeah?” you and Dustin answered.
“Could you maybe, uh… clarify what sort of clues we’re supposed to be looking for here?”
“ ‘The world is full of obvious things which nobody by any chance ever observes’.” Dustin said in a British accent, not really helping Steve at all “Sherlock Holmes.” you just stood still, observing their interaction.
“That’s great. Thanks, that’s great, really helpful. Sherlock…” Steve scoffed and walked towards you “You were right. He is entering his teenage years. Strongly.” you made an ‘I told you’ face.
“Just look for anything that stands out. Anything that says Upside Downey.”
“Yeah, I- I can do that.” he nodded at your words, walking away to explore another part of the house.
After a few minutes, you realized that Steve was no longer in your eyesight, so you decided to go look for him. You were making your way down a hallway when a startled Steve appeared before you, quickly closing the door he had walked out from
“Don’t go in there. Spiders, too many, many spiders.” he pointed at the room, the scared expression on his face making you giggle.
“Steve, what happened?”
“Don’t laugh at me. Take it out. Take it out.” he lowered his head to you so you could remove the spiderwebs that were stuck in his hair.
“I’m not laughing at you. Come on, sit still so I can take it out.” you held his head and began taking out the webs carefully.
“If there’s a spider nesting in there, you’re never gonna find it till it lays eggs and the babies spill out.” Robin joked, when she and Nancy walked next to you as they headed over the other side of the hallway.
“What’s wrong with you?” Steve told her, making Robin chuckle before walking away “Robin, seriously. She’s got problems.” he said to you under his breath.
“Yeah, but we love her.” you had a small smile on your face, for just a moment forgetting where you were as you picked out the remaining webs in hair.
“Strong words.” he waited a second before agreeing with you, acting reluctant “But you’re not wrong.”
“There, done.” you told him and wiped your hands, removing all the stickiness, not entirely sure if it was from the spiderwebs or his gel.
“Hey.” his voice was soft, almost a whisper, but it pulled you in easily. Your eyes stared into his “How you feeling?”
“I mean, this place gives me endless goosebumps, but I guess I’m alright-” you joked, wanting to add a little light to the situation.
“No, I mean… in general. Are you okay?” the look in his eyes told you this wasn’t just about the fact that you were breaking and entering a house, searching for clues that could lead you to an interdimensional demon, but about everything that could be burdening your heart.
“Are you?” you asked back, making Steve nod his head. You wanted so badly to sit down and understand what had led him to say no to your idea, but now wasn’t the time, which made it so much worse, because there were times when you weren’t sure if you could be as touchy as you usually are, feeling the small tension between you.
“Yeah, I get your point.” you felt his hand hold your own, his fingers caressing the back of your palm softly. He had lowered his head to look at your intertwined hands. When his eyes returned to look into yours, it felt intense. His gaze fell to your lips, your breath catching in your throat “Can I?”
You found it sweet that he was asking you for permission, even though you could never tell him no, no matter what had happened between the two of you. But just like you felt awkward at times, he did too. He didn’t want to step over the boundaries you have built for yourself, give you yet another reason to yell at him when this is all over and you can face reality. It was weird pausing the state of your relationship to figure out how to stop the Upside Down once again, but you had to if you actually wanted to have a relationship to turn to at the end of this, with both of you alive.
So, you softly nodded your head, closed your eyes, and leaned in, waiting for his lips to land on yours, but a loud voice interrupted you. It was Max.
Steve groaned just inches away from your face, and you giggled at his impatience.
“Come on, duty awaits us.” you boldly pecked his lips, tugged his hand, and headed to where Max was standing next to Lucas. After a couple of seconds, Nancy, Robin, and Dustin appeared as well. She pointed towards the chandelier before you, saying that she saw the lights flickering. You stood there, silent, waiting for it to happen.
“It’s like the Christmas lights.” Nancy said in thought when the chandelier flickered.
“The Christmas lights?” Robin’s eyebrows scrunched.
“When Will was in the Upside Down, Joyce had put Christmas lights all over the house and… it was like they came to life whenever Will or the Demogorgon were near.” you explained, memories coming to you from three years ago.
“Vecna’s here. In this house. Just on the other side.” Lucas said just when the lights above them went out.
“I think he just left the room.” Robin said.
“Did he hear us?” Max asked something you couldn’t answer, but Steve decided to make it worse with another unexplainable question.
“Can he see us?”
“Headphones.” Lucas told Max, and she quickly obliged.
“Wait, wait. Everyone, turn off your flashlights and spread out.” Nancy told you and you turned off the flashlight in your hand without any questions, understanding what Nancy was hinting.
“But then we’re not gonna be able to see if we turned off our flash…” you heard Steve’s confused voice that stopped when he realized that everyone had already gone in different directions. He shook his head and went after you, scared to be left alone.
“I got him! Got him!” it wasn’t long before Robin was screaming for you to get here “I got him! I… I had him.” however it didn’t last long.
You continued holding up your flashlight, waiting for Vecna to appear, when Steve’s voice interrupted the silence from beside you.
“Oh whoa. Oh, I think he’s moving.” you watch his lit-up flashlight with determination, feeling as if you remove your gaze from it, the light will disappear “He’s moving. He’s moving.” you follow after him as he tries to guess Vecna’s next movement “Shit. I lost him.”
“No, you didn’t.” Max’s flashlight was the next one to light up, making you all follow her. She heads towards a small staircase. You were next to Max, so you were able to easily see where it was leading to and announce it to the rest.
“It’s an attic.”
“Of course, it’s an attic.” Robin said with her usual load of sarcasm.
“Hold up, guys. What if he’s leading us into a trap?” Dustin tried to voice his concerns but stopped when he realized that all of you ignored him and just headed up the stairs entering the attic.
You couldn’t see anything out of the ordinary, just an empty, dusty attic filled with unused furniture. However, something odd did catch your eye. A single light bulb was in the center of the room, already flickering.
You circle around it, completely missing your own flashlights coming to life too, until Dustin points it out. You lifted them up, the light becoming brighter than ever.
“Okay, what’s happening?” Steve asked and you answered under your breath.
“I don’t know.”
Suddenly, as the lights got brighter and brighter, the glass from the torches started exploding one by one. You covered your heads to protect yourselves from the sharp glass shards. The last one to explode was the single lightbulb, darkness surrounding you. You lift your head back up, looking around the room, sharing the same thought.
You have found his hideout.
“Not to be a wimp, but can I maybe sit in the car for this visit? Cause this is gonna totally and royally suck.” Robin voiced her concern from the front of the car.
It was the next day and you were heading back to Eddie’s hiding spot, finally bringing him the food and beer he had requested. With the whole realization you had yesterday, you kind of forgot that you also had a fugitive to take care of.
“It won’t be that bad.” you said from the back of Nancy’s car, trying to believe it yourself. It wasn’t just his fury at you about being late that concerned you, it was also the fact that everything you suspected had happened, had actually happened.
“I just can’t stand to see those doe eyes of Eddie’s break again. I really, really can’t”
“At least he can drink himself into feeling better.” Steve consoled Robin, holding up the six-pack of beers.
“That’s what my mom does.” Max confessed like it was no big deal.
“Why don’t we just give it a trial run? ‘Hey, Eddie. Uh, good news first this time. We got you some Dustin-approved junk food and that six-pack you requested. Oh yeah, and we found Vecna. Only the bad news is that he’s in that other, darker, much scarier dimension that we told you about, and the gate’s closed, so we have no way of getting to him. He’s entirely shut off to us, so basically, you’re screwed. And, no, no, I know you were already screwed, but now you’re like doubly, triply screwed.” Robin’s words made you realize just how horrible this whole thing was going to be, so you let your head fall down on your hands.
“Okay, wait, wait. Maybe we don’t put it like that.” Lucas requested and Nancy stepped up.
“We’re one step closer to finding Vecna. That’s what we say. That’s what’s important.”
“See, Robin? Positive spin can make all the difference.” Robin hummed at your boyfriend’s words, muffled as he was chewing on some Pringles, but before you could continue, Nancy’s words interrupted your previous conversation.
“Oh, shit.” Nancy said and parked the car.
The whole town was at Eddie’s hideout, leaving you no choice but to think that you were too late and the police had caught an innocent man. You all got out of the car and made your way carefully behind a van close enough to the Chief of the police, Powell, so you could easily hear him talk about what had happened.
Another student had been killed, his name was Patrick McKinney and the main suspect for the murder was Eddie, who was now, also, a public suspect. The good thing was Eddie was not caught, but the bad things are piling up so much, you’re not sure when they’re gonna tumble.
“Oh, man. This is not good. This is really not good.” Steve said under his breath, after you gathered enough information to catch up.
“Where the heck is Eddie?” as if he could hear your question, Dustin’s radio came to life, Eddie’s voice calling out for you.
“Dustin, can you hear me? Y/n?”
“Eddie, holy shit. Are you okay?” Dustin quickly answered Eddie’s call of distress.
“Nah, man. Pretty- pretty goddamn far from okay.” you could hear the strain in his voice, clearly stress over what was happening.
“Where is he?” Robin asked and Dustin repeated the question to the fugitive.
“Skull Rock. Do you know it?” oh you were quite familiar with Skull Rock, your eyes landing on Steve out of pure instinct.
“Uh, yeah. That’s near Cornwallis and-” Dustin tried to recall the location, but Steve already knew exactly how to get there.
“Garret, yeah. I know- we know where that is.” he pointed to you and smirked when he saw the redness forming on your cheeks. However, his gaze then fell on Nancy, who was standing next to you, and let out a slight cough when he remembered he didn’t go there only with you.
He shook his head to forget the memories and jogged to the car, ready to drive you to where Skull Rock was.
“Hold tight. We’re coming. We’re coming.” Dustin tells Eddie, and he gets into the car after you.
Steve is at the front with Dustin, following him as they were trying to understand where they were supposed to be heading. Steve knew they were heading in the wrong direction, but Dustin was certain it was this way since his compass was saying so.
“Dude, I’m telling you, you’re taking us the wrong way.” Steve complained.
“It’s north. I’m positive. I checked the map.” he had the map in his left hand and the compass in his right, constantly checking the direction and huffing when he always saw it pointing at a different one.
“You do realize Skull Rock, it’s like a super popular make-out spot?” Steve told him, Dustin not getting where he was heading at.
“Yeah. So?”
“Yeah, well, it wasn’t popular until I made it popular.” he pointed to himself “All right? I practically invented it. We’re heading in the wrong direction.” Steve did a sharp turn and went off the trail into the woods to get them to the spot he knew like the back of his hand.
“Steve. Where are you going? Steve!”
“Stop whining. Let’s go. Come on, trust me, man.” he waved his hand for him to follow, and after an exaggerated groan, Dustin did as he was told “Like I said, I’ve been there plenty of times. It was one of the things I was known for back in high school.”
“Wait.” Dustin paused for a moment in his spot, while in thought “Have you been with my sister here?”
“Worse.” Steve answered.
“Have you not been with my sister here?”
“How is that worse to you?”
“I want my sister to get the best treatment you could possibly offer her.” Steve shook his head at his words but cleared his throat to explain himself.
“Let’s just say that out of the 3 legal of age women in the group, I’ve come here with 2 of them.”
“Oh. Oh! Come on man!” Dustin finally understood what Steve was saying, but after thinking about it for a moment, he couldn’t help but chuckle “You’re even more screwed if my sister remembers that.”
A little further behind, you were walking beside Nancy, Robin just a little ahead of you, trying to hear what Max and Lucas were talking about.
You were quiet, enjoying the familiar walk to Skull Rock, when Nancy cleared her throat, bringing your attention to her.
“So, have you ever come to Skull Rock?”
“Oh, yeah, I have.” you nodded, memories of you and Steve coming into your mind “You?”
“Yeah.” her voice was a bit strained.
“Have we come here with the same guy?”
“I think so, yeah.” you stole a look at Nancy. Her face was full of concern, worried that you would think this is weird, you two talking about your present and past relationships, but you just let out a big chuckle. Your reaction made her feel more relaxed, seeing that it wasn’t as big of a deal as she was building it up in her head it would be.
“Why were you so nervous? It’s not like I wasn’t there when you dated him for a year. I encouraged you.”
“Well, encouragement isn’t the word I would use, but yeah I know.”
“Hey, can you blame me? He wasn’t the best back then.” thinking of King Steve and your Steve was like thinking of two completely different people.
“I know. You’ve made him better.” Nancy smiled at you, and you quickly returned the gesture.
“We both did.” you didn’t feel weird at all talking about Steve with each other. First and foremost, you were friends, and you did find this whole situation hilarious. Suddenly, Robin interrupted your small moment after getting back from ‘spying’ on the other troubled couple of the group.
“Oh my God, they’re so adorable. I just want to squeeze ‘em, you know?” she told you, making your gaze fall on Max and Lucas walking ahead of you. It was nice seeing them spend some time with each other, even under these circumstances “If I’m permitted to see a silver lining in this end-of-the-world doom and gloom, it would be two souls coming together and forgetting all their previous faults out of love. I didn’t mean that as a hint or anything.”
“Right.” you nodded your head, not believing her for a second.
“But if I did mean it as a hint, would that be so terrible? I mean, to wish happiness for all of my friends?” you scoffed at her words, Nancy deciding to get to the bottom of what was happening.
“What actually happened between you guys?”
“Robin is overexaggerating. We really are fine. Just a small fight, just like all other couples have.” you told her, but by the look on your friend’s face, she needed a better explanation than that, so you gave in “Basically, I asked him to move in with me and he ignored me.” Nancy’s eyebrows shot up while Robin defended both sides.
“He didn’t ignore you.”
“He did. He didn’t want to talk about it which to me says everything I need to know. He’s not ready and it’s fine. It just annoyed me how he handled it.” you confessed to your friends, your gaze staying on the ground.
“I didn’t know you guys were that serious, but I do believe you. I bet it’s nothing. Steve has always been too anxious for his own good. But with the way he looks at you, you have nothing to be worried about.”
“Thank you.” you looked at her, wanting to sent her another smile, but you stopped when you noticed she was the gloomy one right now. You turned to look at Robin, who had also noticed but just shrugged her shoulders, not knowing what to do. After a moment she cleared her throat and looked over at Nancy.
“Do you have something you wanna share to the group, Nancy?”
“I’m having a similar situation with Jonathan…” she confessed.
“Really?” you asked, letting her go on.
“It’s just… He was supposed to be here for the break, and then he backed out the last minute for some vague, mumbly Jonathan reason. And, to be honest, I’m not even that surprised, because I’ve been feeling him pulling away. A- and I don’t know if it’s because we’re 2,000 miles away or if he met someone new or what. And now I can’t find out why because apparently, he’s blown up his family’s house or something.”
“You’ve been holding that in for a while now, huh?”
“Yeah.” she nodded at her question, glad to have finally expressed her frustration.
“Nancy, I know how it can be but I can promise you, you don’t need to start creating all these crazy scenarios in your mind. Jonathan is scared, but he’s definitely not cheating on you.” you explained as you picked up the pace when you saw Steve enter a big bush, entering Skull Rock.
“Is scared? What do you mean ‘is scared’? Have you talked to him?” Nancy called out for you. You realized you had let out more information than Jonathan would have liked, so you just pushed past the bush in front of you to avoid the conversation.
“Oh, boom! Bada bing, bada boom. There she is, Henderson. Skull Rock. In your face, man. In your stupid, cocky little face.” he took a look at the scowl on your face, his hands going up defensively “He started it.”
“Doesn’t make sense.” Dustin looked down at his compass in confusion. You patted his shoulder as you passed by him, your eyes scanning the area for Eddie.
“Yeah, yeah. Even with it staring you right in the face, you can’t admit it. Can’t admit that you’re wrong, you little butthead.” just when Steve ended his sentence a sudden thud made you turn around, scaring the shit out of you. However, relief replaced the feeling when you realized it was just Eddie making a theatrical entrance.
“I concur. You, Dustin Henderson, are a… total butthead.”
“Jesus, we thought you were a goner.” your brother let out a sigh and went to hug his friend.
“Yeah, me too, man. Me too.” his eyes settled on you and Steve as they hugged. You sent him a small smile, glad to see he was okay.
After the rest appeared out of the bush, Eddie began explaining what had happened while you were gone.
“When I got to the shore, I tried calling for you guys, but, uh…” he opened a flash, drinking what you guessed, no hoped, was water in there “My walkie was busted, man. Drenched. So, uh, I did the thing that I do now, apparently. I ran.” he chuckled humorlessly.
He was squatting in front of Skull Rock, the rest of you standing before him, listening closely.
“Do you know what time this was? The attack?” Nancy asked him.
“Yeah, no, I… I know exactly what time it was. My walkie wasn’t the only thing that got soaked.” he took off his watch tossing it over to Nancy, who caught it and looked at it, to confirm her suspicions.
“9:27.”
“Same time our flashlights went kablooey.” Robin said.
“Which means what exactly?” Steve asked from beside you.
“It means that the surge of energy we experienced was Vecna attacking Patrick.” you explained.
“Well, we’re one step closer. We know how Vecna attacks.” Robin said and Lucas continued her train of thought.
“And where he attacks from.”
“So now we just need to sneak into his lair in the Upside Down and Drive a stake through his heart.” you looked at Max. The rest went on with the conversation, but your attention was suddenly focused elsewhere. Your gaze was fixed on Dustin who was walking up and down staring at his compass.
You were only able to join the conversation again when Eddie addressed the question you also had in your mind.
“Hey, uh, Henderson’s not, uh, cursed, is he?”
“I’m not entirely sure.” you told him and moved towards your brother.
“Oh, come on, he’s fine. Cursed? No. Mental? Absolutely.” Steve answered for you, always ready to comment on Dustin’s antics.
You were just a couple meters away from your brother, when his loud exclamation stopped your movements.
“Boom!” all your eyes widen in shock, while Dustin turns around and points at Steve “Bada… Bada… Boom. I was right. Skull Rock was north.” Steve rolled his eyes at him
“Seriously? You’re serious?” Dustin nodded and hummed with a huge grin on his face “This is Skull Rock. Okay? You’re totally, absolutely, 100% wrong. Right now!”
“Yes. And no.”
“Oh my God…” Steve groaned. You moved forward landing on your brother’s side as he handed you the compass to check it out.
“This compass worked correctly when we left the Wheelers’. It was correct when we got in the car on Kerley, but it started to slip the further east we went. Now, it’s way off. When I was leading us here, I wasn’t wrong. The compass was.” you looked down at your hands to see the compass’s needle not pointing correctly, just like Dustin was saying.
“So, you’re using faulty equipment. You’re still wrong.” Steve tried to reason with Dustin, but your brother was still not giving in.
“Except it isn’t faulty.”
Suddenly, as if a lightbulb lit up in your mind, you finally understood what Dustin was talking about.
“Wait- Are you saying…”
“Yep.” your brother turned to look at you with a shit-eating grin on his face.
“Is that even possible? How?” you questioned him, the rest looking at the two of you as if you had each grown two heads.
“I don’t know but it could explain a lot of blanks in our theory.”
“What is happening?” Eddie asked the group.
“Oh right, you’re new. This is a Henderson thing, you’ll get used to it.” Steve answered him.
“Lucas, do you remember what can affect a compass?” Dustin pointed to Lucas.
“An electromagnetic field.” the other kid answered, realization hitting him aswell.
“Yep.”
“I’m sorry. I must’ve skipped that class.” Robin looked very confused, not understanding what you were talking about.
“In the presence of a stronger electromagnetic field, the needle will deflect towards that power.” You pointed to the direction the needle was pointing at right now.
“So, either there’s some super big magnet around here, or…” Dustin stopped talking, wanting someone else to finish his thought.
“There’s a gate.” Lucas was the one to finish it.
“But we’re nowhere near the lab.” Nancy asked you.
“But what if, somehow, there’s another gate? A gate that we don’t know about. It’d have to be smaller. Way less powerful.” Dustin suggested.
“Snack-size gate.” Robin commented and you nodded.
“It is possible. Nancy, remember when you, me, and Jonathan were searching for Will? You went into the Upside Down through a small gate in the woods. It’s plausible Vecna’s doing the same.” you explained to her, and she nodded her head.
“How? Why?” Steve was the next one to question your crazy theory.
“No idea. All we know is that something is causing this disturbance, and the last time we’ve seen anything like it, it was a gate. And I hope it is because then we’d have a way to Vecna. And a shot at freeing Max from this curse.” Dustin looked at Max, hope once again rising through all of you.
He turned to give you a look and without a word, you nodded, gave him the compass, and followed after him as he began walking towards the direction the needle was pointing to.
“Where are you going?” Steve called out for the two of you, his voice making you stop, and grab Dustin from his backpack when you realized he had no intentions of stopping and listening to him “Eddie’s still a wanted man. We can’t just go for a hike in the woods.”
“This little steel capsule might be the key to saving both Max and Eddie. What say you, Eddie the Banished?” Dustin turned to Eddie and you all turned to stare at him, waiting to see what he would say.
“I say you’re asking me to follow you into Mordor, which, if I’m totally straight with you, I think is a really bad idea. But, uh, the Shire… the Shire is burning.” you smiled after hearing his words and seeing your brother jump up and down when he realized Eddie was into this whole thing. They were a weird duo but they worked “So Mordor it is.” Eddie got up and followed Dustin, the rest quickly accepting the plan and going after them. You stood in your spot waiting for Steve, who still looked confused.
“What is Mordor?” he said under his breath making you chuckle.
“I’ve told you a hundred times to read ‘The Lord of the Rings’ but you never listen to me.” you grabbed his hand and tagged him along, when Eddie ran back towards you and went to Skull Rock, picking up some of the stuff he had left there.
“Get your stuff, dude. Let’s go.”
“ ’Let them a journey new begin.’ ” you reference the book with a smile, making Eddie stop in his tracks and look at you pleased.
“I’m liking you more and more, older Henderson.”
It honestly felt like you were walking forever. The sky was now dark blue, any sight of the sun gone. You were, as always, at the back of the group following Dustin. Suddenly you saw the rest pick up their paces, so with a quick look at Steve, you started chasing after them.
“I think we’re getting close.” Dustin announced, looking back to the rest of you, missing the fact that right in front of him was a lake. Luckily, Eddie was there to stop him before he fell in.
“Watch your step, big guy.”
You finally catch up to them, seeing the very familiar lake in front of you.
“Oh man. You gotta be shitting me.” Steve was breathless from all the running, glad to just stand still for a moment.
“Yeah. I thought these woods were familiar.” Eddie said, and you nodded.
“Lover’s Lake.” Robin pointed out.
“This is confounding.” Dustin was the only one who didn’t sound exhausted or confused, just entertained.
“There’s a gate in Lover’s Lake?” Max asked.
“Whenever the Demogorgon attacked, it always left an opening. Maybe Vecna’s the same way.” Nancy answered and you bit your lip.
“So, yesterday’s attack left an opening at Lover’s Lake. How convenient for us.”
“Yeah, only one way to find out.” Steve pointed at the covered little boat beside you. Eddie uncovered it and the two of them pushed it to the water.
The first one to get on was Robin, who completely ignored Steve’s offer to help her with his hand, and just balanced herself by grabbing their hands. You shook your head with a small smile and headed to them, waiting your turn.
Steve turned to see you next and you gladly accepted his help, your hand easily landing on his. You thanked him and sat down opposite Robin, who had made herself comfortable at the front of the boat. Next was Eddie, and then Nancy. The boat already felt too crowded, so when Dustin placed his bag in and tried to get on as well, Eddie smacked him in the head, sending his whole body back.
“Hey, hey, hey, you trying to sink us?” Dustin looked confused, so you leaned forward to ease his wound.
“It can only hold four people okay, buddy? We’ll carry on the quest.” you told him and Nancy joined in.
“It’s better this way, okay? You guys stay here with Max. Keep an eye out for trouble.” she was right. You didn’t like leaving them here alone, but you also didn’t want them anywhere near the gate, so sacrifices must happen.
“You keep an eye out.” Dustin sassed, his tone shocking you “It’s my goddamn theory.” he complained and Robin rolled her eyes next to you.
“You heard Nance.”
“Who put her in charge?” Dustin asked pointing at Nancy in front of him.
“I did.” Robin replied with a proud smile on her face.
“Compass.” Nancy demanded, the palm of her hand in the air, right in front of Dustin, commanding the compass. After a frown, Dustin complied and handed it to her. You sent him a grateful smile, which made him mock you in return.
“Hey, there you go.” Steve said and threw Dustin his bag back right before pushing the boat to the water and quickly getting in as well.
“You said four!” Dustin yelled and Steve mumbled a not so heartfelt apology back.
“Stay safe!” you yelled at them and gave Steve your hand, helping him get situated inside the boat.
“Bedtime at nine, kiddos. Miss you already!” Robin joked, as she stood up and waved at the kids, making Dustin give her the middle finger.
You were kind of pushing it by having five people in the small boat, but you were determined to make it work. So here you were, squished between Steve and Nancy while Robin and Eddie paddled. Nancy had given you the compass when she sat down, so you were now guiding them to where the needle was pointing, while Nancy and Steve looked around for anything that could give away where the gate was located.
Suddenly the needle goes crazy and you tell them to stop moving the boat. They huddle close to you, staring at the compass.
“Guys, what’s going on?” your brother’s voice sounded from the radio “Come on, guys, talk to me, what’s going on?” he must have seen you stopped, eager to find out what caused it.
Robin picks it up and answers “Uh, Dustin, your compass has gone from wonky to wonky with a capital ‘ahh’!”
Before you could give your brother an actual answer, the boat started swaying more and you realized, when you turned to your left, Steve’s movement was what made you all move. You looked at him confused as he took off his shoes and socks.
“Steve, what are you doing?” you asked him.
“Somebody’s gotta go down and check this thing out. Unless one of you four can top being a Hawkins High swim co-captain and a certified lifeguard for three years, then… it’s gotta be me.”
“What?” you asked shocked.
“No complaints, all right?”
“Hey, I’m not complaining. I do not wanna go down there.” Eddie said, but you paid no attention to him or the fact that he was throwing stuff all over the boat, too focused on your boyfriend who was now standing up, and taking off his sweater. You panicked and rose, holding his arms to stop him from jumping in.
“Steve, you can’t just-” he swiftly removed himself from your hand, letting his hands hold both sides of your face, looking deeply into your eyes.
“I’ll be fine, okay? It’s just a swim. I’ll be right back.” he pecked your lips and without another word guided you to sit back down. Everything happened so quickly that you didn’t know if you should allow your body to blush at his kiss or stand up again and tell him to stop being so reckless.
“Hey.” Eddie pulled you out of your trance, and you looked over to see he had created a good enough waterproof solution for the flashlight using a plastic bag he had in his pockets. Steve turns and takes it when Eddie hands it over “Good luck.” he wishes him and Steve in return thanks him and throws him his sweater.
You watch as Steve takes a deep breath, ready to dive, but you call out for him before he can disappear into the water. His head turns to look at you “Be careful.” he smiles and nods. Before you can blink, Steve throws his body into the water. You move yourself to the side of the boat, looking at the spot he had descended from.
You thought you were standing there for an hour, but according to the rest, Steve was closing in on just a minute under there. The silence was deafening, as you waited. You didn’t even realize you were holding your breath as well, until Steve appeared with a big splash, sending water inside the boat and scaring all of you at once.
“I found it.” he breathed heavily, trying to catch his breath.
“You found it?” Nancy asked again shocked.
“I found it. Yeah. I found it.” he takes the hand you were offering him, helping him grab onto the boat. You smiled, happy to see he was okay.
“Dustin, you are a goddamn Einstein. Steve found the gate.” Robin spoke on the radio to inform the kids what was happening.
“It’s pretty wild. It’s more a snack-size gate than the mama gate, but still, it’s pretty damn big.” you didn’t have the time to chuckle at his comment, because for a moment his whole body went underwater again. Luckily his reflexes were quick, so he was able to hold himself upwards, never letting go of the boat.
He looked back up at you, confusion taking control of his face. Then he is gone.
You yell and call out for him, not understanding what had just happened. You’re once again standing still, frozen in your spot, not registering any of the words the rest are saying. Suddenly, your body decides your next move before your mind can.
“Wait, wait, wait. You’re not going in there, are you?” Eddie asks you when he sees you shrugging off the jacket you were wearing, leaving you with your top on.
“Don’t follow.”
It was the only thing you told them, before diving after Steve. A little voice inside of you was screaming at you, telling you what a terrible idea this was, but a bigger one was repeating only one word, Steve. And you could only listen to the latter.
You swam as fast as you could. You weren’t good at holding your breath but you were not gonna let anything stop you. Your eyes search the dark water for some sign of Steve or the gate, finally landing on something that irked your attention.
A soft red glow was calling for you at the bottom of the lake. As you got closer, the brighter it got and you quickly realized it was what you were looking for. All around the gate were veins, similar to the ones you had come across so many times when dealing with Upside Down. However, you had never seen a gate like that before. You let your hand touch the red wall separating you from the other dimension and it only took a small push for the gate to let you in.
The moment you landed on the other side, you were coughing up, gladly letting in air on your lungs, poisonous or not. With deep breaths, you looked up and saw you were still at the lake, but here there was no water. Everything looked frozen, a gray fog surrounding everything in the Upside Down making goosebumps cover your body as red thunder echoed around you.
Noises interrupted your thoughts, and you turned around to see Nancy, Robin, and Eddie appearing from the gate. You sighed and stood up, watching them as they caught their breath.
“What did I tell you?”
“Something stupid.” Robin answered you. You scoffed, but not without a smile creeping into your mouth as you helped them get back on their feet.
A scream sounding from your right. Your head whipped around, immediately recognizing Steve’s voice. Weird creatures were over him, holding him by his neck and bruising his sides with their teeth. They were small, smaller than the monsters you were used to from the Upside Down, but that didn’t mean they couldn’t do the same amount of damage. They looked like bats that had escaped from a radioactive lab. You wanted to tear them apart, but you knew that wouldn’t help your situation, so your eyes searched around for anything that could help you. Besides Steve, you saw a boat covered in veins, but the oar that was sticking out was what caught your eye. The second one was on the ground.
You signaled for the others to grab the one by the boat, while you hurried to hold the one nearest to Steve. The moment you had it, you swung it forward and hit one of the creatures, sending it away from Steve. You saw his eyes moving to watch you and a stern look on your face, almost being able to feel the adrenaline off you.
“Hey there.” you say and kick the other thing off his torso. You call out for Robin to step on the one choking Steve so you can easily hit it with the back of the oar. You can hear Eddie encourage you, before spotting another one of the creatures nearing you from the air. He calls out for Nancy who was holding the other oar, so she can have a heads up and prepare. She starts swinging at it and he looks around for a rock to grab and hit it with.
Meanwhile, you and Robin are still trying to remove the creature from Steve’s neck, but it is extremely stubborn. Robin is now also beating the hell out of it with one of the flashlights. Eddie and Nancy are still trying to sway off the creature and they succeed, only to realize it wasn’t actually leaving, just changing targets. Nancy calls out for you to look out as more come her way, but you weren’t able to hear her correctly, so in your moment of confusion over what was happening you completely miss the creature crashing into you from behind and sending you to the ground, the oar falling from your grasp.
You try to reach for it, but you’re unable to. Robin rushes to help you get it off. Just then Steve regains some of his strength and manages to yank the beast from his neck, taking it by its tail. You let out a scream, feeling the things nails scratching and making your back bleed. Finally, Robin succeeds, removing the creature from your back and yanking it to the ground. You stood back to your feet, a groan leaving your lips, but you swallowed the pain down, grabbing the oar once again and giving the creature one more big, final blow to its head.
You finally feel like you’re able to breath, turning around to see if anyone else needed help. You watched everyone staring at Steve who was still holding the monster by its tail, yanking it back and forth, letting it hit the ground with force each time. After he felt like it was enough, he stepped on it with one foot, giving him the support he needed to tear the thing in half. In the end, he’s breathing heavily, letting the half he was holding fall to the ground and spitting out blood that had collected in his mouth from the fight.
You let out a relieved sigh and immediately go up to him. You say his name softly and wrap your arms around him. His own settle at your waist, his face falling on your shoulder. After hugging him for a few moments, you pull back to take a good look at his face. He was covered in dirt and blood.
You brought your hand up to wipe some of it off, Steve leaning into your touch “Are you okay?”
“Well, they took about a pound of flesh. But other than that, yeah, never better.” his tone was sarcastic, trying to hide how much the bites and claw marks were hurting him. You looked down, your hands touching his wounds gently to inspect the damage, however, he wasn’t focused on any of that “You’re insane for following me down here.”
You couldn’t help but agree with him, but then again, you’ve always been insane “And let you have all the fun? I don’t think so.” he scoffed with an exhausted smile tugging at his lips. You leaned in when he rested his forehead against yours, breathing each other in, glad you were both okay.
“Uh, do you guys think these bats have, like, rabies?”
“What?” Steve’s brows frowned, turning to stare at Robin, annoyed that your small moment was over.
“It’s just that rabies are, like, my number one greatest fear. And I think we should get you to a doctor, like, really soon because once the symptoms set it, it’s too late. You’re already, like, dead.”
“Thanks for the pep talk, Robin.” you said when shrieking erupted around you. It startled you, making you all huddle together, you and Steve at the front.
You turn to look at the bats who were forming a guard around the gate, making it quite hard to get past and leave the Upside Down.
“All right. There’s not that many.” Steve says, his body guarding you. The bats shriek at you “We can take them. Right?” he sounded less sure at the end, making you concerned.
All your hopes disappeared when you saw more of them heading your way.
“You were saying?” Robin asked full of sarcasm.
“The woods. Come on.” Nancy said and you followed her, running for your life. You carefully avoided any veins, as you remembered what these veins meant here, and entered the woods.
You ended up hiding under Upside Down’s Skull Rock, waiting for the bats to lose your tracks. The moment the coast was clear, you all stood up, leaving your hiding spot.
“That was close.” Eddie agreed with Robin. You were looking upwards, watching the bats fly away when a noise from your left made you turn your head.
Your heart dropped in fear when you saw Steve gripping his wounds, his whole body leaning on the rock, dizziness taking over his senses.
“Steve?” he hated how scared you sounded.
“I’m fine. I’m fine.” his sentence ended in a groan, his eyes squishing from the pain. You rushed forward to guide him to the ground carefully.
“You’re not fine, Steve. You’re losing a lot of blood. God…” you exclaimed when you saw his bloody hands. You placed yours on top of them, gently removing them from his torso, all of you gasping when you saw the amount of blood that had left his wounds.
“We need something to cover them…” you searched your body, feeling your clothes to find something that could help. The fabric was too thin and small for a job like this, and also incredibly torn in the back after all the scratching from the creatures. Luckily Nancy came to the rescue and started tearing a part of her blouse to give you.
“Okay. So, the good news here is I’m pretty sure wooziness is not a common symptom of rabies. But if you start having hallucinations or muscle spasms or you start feeling really aggressive, like- like you wanna punch me or something, you should totally let me know.”
“Robin?” Steve said.
“Yeah?”
“I kinda wanna punch you.” his breathing was heavy, trying to not pass out from the dizziness.
“Sense of humor’s still intact. That’s a good sign.” she laughed. You thanked Nancy after she handed the fabric to you, and Robin took it as her sign to leave you alone following after Nancy, certain she could not bear to see that.
“Okay… It might hurt.” you eyed his face, your own full of worry.
Steve nodded “Do it.” he grunts and does his best to hold himself up to give you better access to the wound.
You start wrapping his waist with the fabric, gently but firmly so it can hold any more blood that would want to get out. You hear him groan in pain, his stomach flexing at the touch. You apologized but he just told you he was fine.
“Is it too tight?” you were almost done, just waiting for the clear to tie the knot and secure its place.
“No, it’s- it’s good.” you nodded at his words and finished the knot at the front. You hoped it would be enough.
You looked back at him, hating how in pain he looked. He leaned back against the stone, his eyes falling on you with a sigh.
“Thank you, baby.” you let a small smile out at the nickname and kissed his forehead.
“So, uh…” Eddie starts talking, bringing your focus on him “This place is like Hawkins but with monsters and nasty shit?” he was standing on top of a fallen tree.
“Pretty much.” Nancy answered.
You placed your arms around Steve’s waist, careful to not touch his wound, his arm around your shoulders, and helped him stand right back up. You looked back at Eddie, seeing him ready to jump off the trunk, back to the ground, but a warning from you made him stop.
“Wait, watch out for the vines. It’s all a hive mind.” you tried to explain, but from the look on Eddie’s face it obviously wasn’t enough.
“It’s all a what?”
“All the creepy crawlies around here, dude.” you helped Steve lean to the stone once again, never leaving his side to make sure you’d be there if he needed help “They’re, like, one or something. You step on a vine, you’re stepping on a bat, you’re stepping on Vecna.” you nodded at his words. Eddie looked spooked as he carefully let himself back into the ground slowly, his feet never touching the veins.
“But everything from our world is still here, right?” Robin questioned.
“As far as I understand it, yeah.” Nancy answered her.
“So, theoretically, we could go to the police station, and steal guns and grenades and whatever we need to blow up those bat things that are guarding the gate.” she suggested.
“I highly doubt the Hawkins PD has grenades, Robin. But, uh, guns? Yeah, sure.” Steve said, his hand never leaving his bandaged wound.
“Well, we don’t have to go all the way downtown for guns. I have guns in my bedroom.” Nancy told you.
“You.” Eddie had finally landed back on the ground “Nancy Wheeler, have guns, plural, in your bedroom?”
“Full of surprises, isn’t she?” Robin said rhetorically, a smile on her face.
“A Russian Makarov and a revolver.” the other girl explained, and Steve scoffed at the memory.
“Yeah, you almost shot me with that one.”
“It was in the heat of the moment.” you defended Nancy, also remembering your adventure at the Byer’s house. A glimpse of blue coming towards you caught your attention, realizing it was Eddie's sleeveless, jean jacket that he had taken off and thrown at Steve.
“For your modesty, dude.” he explained and your boyfriend nodded.
All of a sudden, the earth started shaking, surprising all of you and making you lose your balance. You hang onto Steve, who puts his arms around you without a second thought. You grabbed Nancy’s hand and pulled her under the rock with you, while Eddie held Robin on the ground. The earthquake wasn’t long, but its strength did scare you. When the shaking stopped, you heard a creature baying in the distance and echoing through the woods. It was one of the scariest sounds you had ever heard.
“Yeah, so guns seem like a pretty good idea to me.”
“Yeah, me too.” Eddie and Robin said, still on the ground.
“So, what are we waiting for?” Steve said, swiftly putting on the jacket in his arms and getting the torch from his back pocket, turning it on and leading the way. You were the first one to follow after him, your eyes always scanning the ground for the veins.

Warning: arguing, relationship problems, hurtfull words, indecent language,Agatha being mean and full of shit, smut, fingering, Cummings, make up sex, praise kink, mommy kink if you squint, slight overstiumlation.
The elevator dinged as you arrived on the main floor of your wife's company. You held your phone in one hand and her lunch in the other. Agatha had an unexpected important meeting to attend early this morning which caused her to rush out of the house with an empty stomach - obviously that does no one any good especially when they have a long day ahead.
So you promised her you'd bring her lunch about an hour before you head off to work, that way you'd eating lunch with her but it'd be breakfast for you. You walked up to the lady at the front desk with a polite smile.
" hi good morning! This isn't really my thing, showing up at a office so early but I'd like to see Ms harkness please" you spoke as you placed your bag on the counter. The lady smiled and nodded as she picked up the phone and dialed a number, she waited a while before dialing again. She sighed as she placed the phone back down in its holder.
" sorry ma'am but I'm afraid Ms.harkness is busy and probably can't answer the phone right now" she spoke firmly but her tone of voice showed no attitude or rudeness. You pouted as you looked around the room for another option before the lady spoke up again.
" If you tell me your name I can give you a security pass and you just go up" You turned to her with a huge grin and nodded.
" I'm y/n harness, her wife I'm just here to drop off her lunch and i'll be staying a while" the lady let out a small "oh" as she returned your smile.
" Well I suppose you can go up" you gaved her a small smile before picking up your belongings and reentering the elevator. The ride was long yet so short. With a soft ding again the doors opened and you stepped out into the huge work room where everyone was either standing, walking around or sitting clicking away at their keyboards trying to get whatever work that was assigned finished.
You turned a couple heads as you walked down the isle to your wife's office. You stopped in your tracks as you saw Agatha emerge from her office with her phone at her ear and her laptop in hand. You quickly walked up to her as she entered an empty conference room, where her meeting will be held later.
You knocked on the door to announce your arrival as you entered. She turned to face you and gestured for you to close the door.
" what do you mean you'll be here in an hour?! - no I don't give a shit if your taxi broke down!..... look be here in 20 minutes tops or your fucking fired!" She spoked as she hanged up the phone. If you were being honest if your boss shouted at you like that or didn't even have the courtesy to listen you'd probably only show up to work to give them the middle finger before quitting on the spot, but lucky for you that persons boss just so happened to be your grumpy wife.
She threw her phone onto the desk with a loud thug as she sat and opened her computer.
" what do you want y/n" she asked in a harsh and cold tone, you were a bit taken back to be honest. Even though she was having a rough morning that didn't give her the right to talk to you like shit and that was something you both had agreed on - she promised she'd never do since the last time she did it resulting in you breaking down in tears.
When you didn't respond she looked up at you in rather a aggressive way, it's safe to say if looks could kill you'd be dead. She shrugged her shoulders and rolled her eyes at you, her way of telling you to speak up or get lost.
" you need to drop that attitude, and plus give that poor guy a chance if his taxi broke down his taxi broke down-" she slammed her hands on the desk making you jump as she held the bridge of her nose, possibly trying to regain her composure. She wasn't- she wasn't losing her cool with you was she? No, nah, she can't be for real.
" look, I don't need anyone making a fool of me and wasting my time and I certainly don't need my pathetic wife showing up at work telling me how to treat my employees because she simply has nothing better to do" you were utterly shocked, your mouth was open and you were positive that your jaw had dropped further than the lost submarine.
The worst part she didn't even look as if she was sorry, or as if she regretted it. She just scoffed at your surprised facial expression and proceeded to type away on her computer.
" here I was bringing you lunch and wanting to have a decent conversation with you wife but no, you have to be a bitch" you placed the lunch in front of her and backed up crossing your arms.
You didn't know what could have upset your wife in such way or what is was you said that could have offended her other than the work bitch that she uses every day but she got up and threw the bowl of food across the table causing it to make a loud crashing sound and making everyone in the office sprint to their feet to see what the commotion was.
All eyes were on the both of you on the other side of the room since the blinds were down and the entire room was made of glass and to make matters worse the room was not sound proof.
" you know what y/n, you can take your ' lunch ' and 'decent conversation' and shove it up your ass" she spoke before walking out of the room and down the hall back towards her own personal office.
" someone get that cleaned up I have a meeting in less than an hour for christ sake!" She shouted before slamming her door making everyone jolt. You were frozen between reality and what just happened. Surely that had to be a dream. She didn't just shouted at you infront of her entire staff, embarrassed you, humiliate you and insulted you. If this situation didn't scream "divorce her!" You didn't know what would. You picked up your bag, carefully not to make the shards of glass of the floor to cut your feet.
You avoided everyone's intense gaze as you walked out. Tears forming as you heard whispers, or maybe it was your imagination, but after what just happened who wouldn't talk. You were beyond embarrassed. You wanted to disappear or worse lock yourself in a closet and survive off ice cream and Gatorade for the rest of your life.
You walked out of the building at the speed of light, not even saying goodbye to the front desk lady. Surly you were the talk of the day now and Agatha sure as hell didn't give a shit. What could have made her reacted like that? You didn't give two flying fucks she owed you a apology.
You got into your car and drived home. To get your mind off things you decided to go to a club with your friends to release some steam, Turing off your phone in the process.
After you arrived back home you saw Agatha sitting on the couch drinking red wine as she was clearly not paying any attention to the movie that was playing on the TV. As the door opened and closed her eyes flicked up to meet your gaze. You scoffed as you placed your bag down onto the kitchen counter as you began to take off your shoes and jacket. She should be lucky you even spared her a glanced, if you could ignore her entire fucking existence you most definitely would.
Agatha got up and placed her wine glass down on the coffee table as she slowly approached you. A rather apologetic look plastered across her face.
" y/n darling can we talk about what-" you pushed passed her not allowing her to finish her sentence as you made your way into your shared bedroom, her following you like a lost puppy.
" talk about what Agatha? That your full of shit or how you humiliated my infront of almost hundred people. which should we first talk about?" She looked down bitting her lip before she looked back into your eyes that were on fire with several different emotions. Sadness being the most evident one, she could tell that you were hurt by her actions today and that whatever she says now can potentially add to your pain.
" I just wanna apologize for the way i-" again you allowed her no time to speak.
" apologize for what! Don't apologize babe I don't want you to bruise your perfect ego" you scoffed as you slammed the door to the bathroom in her face locking it in an instant.
" fucking unbelievable" you muttered under your breath. She knocked on the door several times but you continued to un dress and do you regularly night time routine. After taking a shower you wrapped your towel around your body and went out to see her sitting on the edge of the bed looking altruistic.
" please my love, let me atleast tell you why -"
" why you threw my bowl of food across the room and told me to shove it up my ass?" You sarcastically asked huffing putting your hands on your hips. That was your signature defense stance. With that she stood to be feet and tried approaching you but you took a step back. She sighed as she spoke up again.
" Yes would you stop interrupting me and let me fucking apologize?"
" I don't need your fucking apology" you shouted, tears threatening to fall from your eyes.
" Yes you do because I can see that your hurt and what I did was wrong"
" wow, the egoistic bitch actually gives a shit about people, one including her wife" you scoffed as you walked towards your closet.
" Oh my lord y/n what is wrong with you" she acquired.
" leave me alone" you replied.
" let me-" she tried grabbing your arm as you walked pass her put you pulled it away.
" you keep saying let you apologize just talk!"
" I can't if you keep cutting me off mid sentence!"
" Well too bad, and sleep in the guest room" you said as you slightly shivered from the amount of tension that had built up over time. You looked up at her and you could tell she was in distress just as much as you were and maybe infact you were being a bit self-centered by not letting her apologize.
Agatha sighed as her will power to try to apologize died, she scoffed as she watched you take off the Towel and slowly put on your underwear, her eyes couldn't help to linger on your boobs and your fleshly shaved cunt and the small curves of your body.
" let me apologize using a different method then" she spoke in a low, sultry tone making you shiver as you made eye contact with her in the mirror, her eyes were suddenly darkened with lust and utterly desire as she made her way towards you from behind. She wrapped her arms around you as her lips found your neck in a slow opened mouthed kiss. You fought the moan that wanted to surpass your lips as you turned around to face her, her hand placement never changing.
" fine, if you can make me feel good in ten minutes i'll let you off but you have to apologizeto me i front of your staff, if not your sleeping in the guess room and your ordering take out tonight and your still gonna apologize to me in front of your staff" you said as your looked into her beautiful determined brown eyes. Your wife bit her bottom lip as she studied you for a moment before replying.
" baby you and I both know I can make you cum in five minutes tops" she husked, as she gently pushed you down on the bed. You chuckled at her playfulness as she sinfully smirked at you as she teasingly removed your underwear not ignoring the already wet patch that was presented before her eyes. She kissed in between your thighs as she maintained intense eye contact with you.
" so pretty my love" she cooed as she used her finger to move your arousal around, pushing her finger through you wet slit. You threw back your head against the pillows as you tried your best to not give her the privilege of hearing you moan so soon. Agatha was indeed very skilled with her mouth and hands and truth be told you weren't sure if you were going to last very long. She gently pushed your thighs up towards your chest as she leaned down and softly kissed your clit, gently pulling it and releasing it with a pop.
" fuck, oh my god" you moaned, you didn't want to give her the satisfactory but you lost all of your self control when it came to how this woman ate your pussy. It was incredible. you whimpered as Agatha makes cat licks up your slit once more before flattening her tongue out against your cunt before enveloping your clit in her mouth making you let out a pornographic moan as your hands immediately flew to her hair.
You whined as your hips stated rocking against her mouth trying to get some more friction before Agatha wrapped her arms around your thighs in a firm grasp pulling you down more so that you could be closer to her mouth. You were slowly losing your sanity as you became more desperate for her.
" good girl, such a good fucking girl, I promise I'll make it up to you sweetie" she spoke against your cunt, as the vibrations ran straight through you making you arch your back and strach your nails against her scalp, making her let out a moan of her own. You could already feel the knot in your stomach being tied,it was just a matter of time before it exploded and it was utterly embarrassing how easy she could get you to cum for her.
" gonna cum sweet girl? Mhm? Your doing so good for me" she mumbled as she sucked harshly on your clit moving her tongue through your folds and slightly entering at your entrance making you cry out. She was a tease and she loved how easily she could have you at her aid.
You plopped yourself up on your elbows to look at her and her gaze immediately flicked up to your tear filled eyes. The pleasure felt too good to be true.
" your gonna cum aren't you?" She chuckled against you when she saw how desperate you looked. It was as if you were stuck between enjoying what she was doing and let her win or play house by holding off your oragsm and making her go over her time limit.
She looked at you dead in the eye as she slowly pushed two fingers into your cunt at the same time. Watching as your eyes roll back and how your face confronts in pleasure as you lay back. She groaned as she felt how your pussy clenched down on her in such a greedy way. She slowly thrusted her fingers in and out of you watching as you tried your best not to ride them. She kissed your mound and your tummy and then your chest area and she picked up her brutal pace, making squelching noises as your moans got louder.
She latched on to one of your breast as her other unoccupied hand gaved the other one attention by twisting and squeezing your sensitive bud.
" Oh God please, Agatha, p-please, I wanna- no" she could feel you trying your hardest to not give into your pleasure rather than to let it absorb you completely. She realsed your nipple with a pop and kissed her way up to your face. She kissed you passionately doing the "barrel" movement with her fingers as she went harder and deeper making your eyes snap out and making you let out a crucial moan. She took the opportunity to push her tongue into your mouth.
You didn't even bother to fight her for dominance you allowed her to completely dominate you, fully submitting to her.
" you know your allowed to cum right? It's not a punishment darling, you have nothing to lose. cum for me please. Make mommy proud." She moaned in your ear as she nibbled on your neck. She curled her fingers in you going faster making you grab onto the bedsheets for dear life as you cummed hard on her fingers.
" FUCK-" you choked on your moan as she kept moving her fingers in and out of you, allowing you some time to come down from your high. You saw little stars floating in your vision as she carefully removed her fingers.
" there she is, such a good girl" she cooed as she licked off her fingers and gaved you a kiss on the cheek.
" so, that's 7 minutes and 34 seconds" she whispered and you chuckled. You turned to look at her with bright eyes.
" 2 minutes late but I still got to see the most beautiful girl in the world cum for me" she whispered and you playfully rolled your eyes.
" I am truly sorry for shouting at you baby girl" she muttered kissing along your jaw line. You hugged her tightly as you rested your head on her chest, listening to her her heart beat as it slowly drived you more into sleep land.
" I love you Agatha" you sighed as you slowly allowed the sleep to take over your body. She giggled at your spent expression and gaved you a little forehead kiss.
" I love you more my little cupcake" she mumbled as she too fell asleep.
