so in terms of the preferred dynamics of the pairing changing, i think this shift probably happened sometime in the last five years; imo it was sort of a slow crawl and then the emergence of smfs sped things up because fob gained a lot of new fans and also attracted old fans who were still around but maybe not creating anything during the gap between mania and smfs, whether it was art or fic. primarily i think it has to do with the fandom's general perception of pete and patrick having changed since the 2013-2019 era

the fact that they've grown and changed as people over the last decade (and when speaking about fob in its entirety, the last two decades) has in part something to do with this; fandoms are inherently predisposed to tropes, imo, which can often lead to characters (this term i think is appropriate since we are talking about fiction written about real people and to a lesser degree the people as they actually exist themselves) being shoehorned into fitting the confines of a specific archetype based on surface level aspects of their personality or physical attributes. patrick and pete for a significant amount of the band's history were perceived as sort of a wallflower and bad boy combo; this wasn't entirely incorrect, and imo most fic authors wrote them with a degree of nuance rather than purely relying on archetype, but you could usually find some form of that interpretation of their characters in most fic or fandom discussion relating to their personalities and relationship with each other. because of this and the fact that it was common in the 2000s/2010s to work within a context of assigning arbitrary personality traits to sex positions, such as 'bottoms are shy/tops are outgoing' (and with bottom always referring to sub bottom and top always referring to dom top), this lead to total bottom patrick cultural victory etc (obviously i agree with the outcome here but i don't completely agree with the journey it took to get there lol)

in part patrick and pete both had a hand in this perception of themselves; patrick mostly during the 2010s and pete mostly during the 2000s. like i said i think these are both actual aspects of their personalities rather than what some people claim, especially in regards to patrick (that the sweater paws era was all an act), but the choice to exacerbate this image of themselves was definitely for PR purposes. imo they both still kind of do this but in different ways; the intent is the same but the form is different. i don't mean to be cynical and i do think they are happy and settled and that their expressions of self are mostly genuine but they are still celebrities and i think they're both relieved to be considered by a majority of fans, who are largely unwilling to talk about their (p2's) flaws, as 'soft' and non-threatening

ig the dark haired top/light haired bottom thing could have also played a part in the popularity of bottom patrick but i don't really think that's the case here because of. the inherent way that they are lol. i feel like some people would argue that the popularity of patrick as specifically a sub bottom during 2013-2019 can in part be attributed to his whiteness and the conflation of whiteness with femininity and bottoming as an inherently feminine and therefore submissive act, which i think probably has merit enough to be acknowledged in any discussion of an interracial ship especially irt to m/m and f/f, but i don't think it's particularly relevant to peterick because i do not buy that patrick has an especially domineering presence that is being subverted in order to incorrectly portray him as submissive, which is something that does happen in a number of ships where one character is white and the other character is black or brown. i think there ARE domineering parts of patrick's personality, and that he craves control, especially wrt his art and his creative process, but we also know that he often gives in to pete's suggestions and that pete's instincts are usually correct whereas patrick's are usually wrong. this doesn't scream hypercompetent in control dom top to me and it doesn't scream service top either

anyway. i think patrick's change in fashion and aesthetics played a not insignificant part in this shift in dynamics; pete's self expression has always been relatively androgynous, but that isn't inherently connected to his gender or his personality. i don't think he's ever done or said anything to imply that he's anything other than a cis man who sometimes likes to wear skirts. which, i mean, there's a not insignificant discussion to be had about his relationship with gender as a biracial black man but this answer is already too long and i don't want to get into that now lol. so patrick grows a beard, pete bleaches his hair and grows it out, oh they're masc and femme now, patrick is a bear (despite being straight?), masc = top and femme = bottom, etc. some people will argue that this has always been the case (patrick being masc and pete being femme) but i'm going to be honest, i think pete and patrick both leaned toward androgyny in self expression until around futct and even then i don't consider patrick's street wear as being super butch or whatever

people also like to discuss patrick's weight as a factor in the perception of him as either a top or a bottom but i've seen too many claims that there's an epidemic of fat men being portrayed as sub bottoms simply because they're fat and i have literally no idea where this came from and i really don't want to lend any legitimacy to that argument because i think it's ridiculous so i'm not going to get into it. but just know i think it's silly and cope

so i think partially the change in dynamics has come from the manner in which they present themselves within the public sphere; patrick reads now as more masculine and outgoing and pete reads as more shy and feminine

i do think that the interpretation of them as characters by people who prefer bottom pete and write fic is more nuanced than people who don't write fic and are just kind of going with the flow (same with people who were around in 2013-2019 when bottom patrick was more popular); i still don't agree with the majority of their analysis but considering they're creating actual art there's generally more critical thought involved than just following a fandom trend imo

fob is also not really a fic based fandom, honestly; fanart tends to get more interaction and fandoms that skew younger don't seem to write fic as much. this is kind of a sidebar but i am actually genuinely worried about the use of chatgpt and what it means for the writing and critical reasoning skills of young people in the west (i don't know if this is as big of a problem in nonwestern countries) and imo the manner in which it's wormed its way into all aspects of academic and creative life, whether professional or amateur, is frightening. but anyway i think a lot of the authors who write or prefer bottom patrick have been around a lot longer (just, like, in life, but also in the fandom lol) and since the younger fans aren't really interested in writing fic, it makes sense that there's still an even split on ao3 despite bottom pete seeming to be more popular with the greater fandom

anyway like i said in that other ask i do think there are situations in which pete would bottom; like, he is not topping andy hurley, lol, and probably not travie, but i just don't see him bottoming as realistic, long term, or as a constant, in his relationship with patrick. the time at which pete came into patrick's life means he was both an authority figure and peer to him; he guided patrick professionally and, at times, personally. pete viewed him as his responsibility, and he was protective of patrick in a way that he wasn't with joe (i've spoken about this before, and while i do think that maybe this has to do with pete maturing somewhat from twenty to twenty-two/twenty-three, there is a world of difference between what pete allowed his friends to do to joe and the way pete spoke of patrick with reverence and protected him, to the point that patrick's release the bats skit was him drinking garlic butter). and while i don't know if i would say the same currently lol i think pete was once a highly competent and successful businessman; he deeply understood the culture of the 2000s/early 2010s and for all the stress and heartache it brought him, i think there were aspects of fame and that feeling of being on top of the world that he very much enjoyed. i think he likes control, but in contrast to patrick, he's far more competent and adept at gaining and keeping himself in a position that affords him that control

has their relationship evolved to the point that they're on more equal footing? yeah i think so, but i also think that your dynamic when you meet someone is going to remain, in part, a constant, even as your relationship evolves and changes. so there's that, for me, that push-and-pull power dynamic where pete is almost always the one who comes out on top (lol), and while i understand the appeal in subverting this wrt peterick, in an abstract sense, i just don't see the evidence in their relationship that that would realistically happen or that pete would want it to happen

moving on to patrick, the reason i said his stroke game is mid is because obviously he does top he's straight but i don't think he's particularly good at it; he fumbles through a lot of life (that doesn't involve his art) and i think this translates to his sexual expression. more realistically, i could see him as a dom bottom because of how bossy he is; this i think would be something pete would enjoy because he does desire submission somewhat but it doesn't involve penetration, which i believe he considers a degrading act, at least to some degree. tbh i don't really think pete's dick game is bomb or whatever lol but i think he's better than patrick. and i know this is a matter of contention because of the specific way in which patrick's misogyny manifests and how defensive he was about not being gay, but i think he's too autistic to really give a shit about bottoming; maybe he could even be convinced to take the strap because he would just get to lie there and not do anything like the way elisa cooks all his food for him. i think this could actually also be argued with pete potentially but it would be more difficult to bring him around to it lol

i have more to say but i think i should cut myself off now 😭 i do want to say though re the thing about petekey; i was actually just telling a friend how petekey is similar to bottom pete because they're both so popular and yet the amount of fanworks doesn't seem to match their supposed popularity

I've been seeing the “i found you girl i like being around you” edits on tiktok but before then, i’d also heard about the show and saw an ep 1 clip of when she runs up to him at the swimming pool. i’m a time travel show enjoyer and this show has been getting such good reviews, so I’m excited. my last few shows have been quite dark and violent and i kinda wanna go for another such show but think a lighter (yet emotional) show might do me some good so that i don’t burn out

Overall:

A fun show with a fun concept and great acting + romance. It was funny and delightful most of the time, there was a kind of killer/suspense aspect but that wasn't really ever the Focus, Sunjae being killed was the focus; similarly, they didn't thoroughly explain the time travel because the mechanics wasn't the focus, Sol going back was the focus.

I liked Sunjae and Sol together and it was fun seeing how Sunjae was slightly different in the different timelines lol I liked seeing the couple on high school, college, as idol!Sunjae and actor!Sunjae. It did feel a bit like consistency was lost in their relationship but that was the point i guess. It was a very romantic concept, the way they were falling in love in every timeline.

Everything about it was good and I was engaged, I just don’t think I’d think about it much though. Kinda reminds me of When I Fly Towards You c-drama in that way; a cute youthful romance drama but I'm not hung up on it. At least it kept me company during my commute of the first week at my new internship.

this will probably be quite long-winded so i'm going to put it under a read more. this has nothing to do with matty or the band, it's my other favorite artists, but i just can't talk about this on my main blog because i fear the people i am talking about will find it and harass me and talk shit about me for weeks again (this happened after an anon mistake and a bit of an impulse decision back a few years ago and i hated my life and almost deleted my blog because of it) so i trust that this will stay between us (as much as it can on the internet)

so my main blog is a primarily harry styles/niall horan blog with a whole bunch of my shitty diary posts and things i think are silly. it started with niall and harry writing and then when niall went on hiatus after his last album it became a primarily harry blog because i wrote my biggest story in the height of the pandemic and it gained a lot of traction during quarantine. in that height, someone started talking shit about niall and i went to his defence as any lonesome teenager does and it backfired on me gravely and this group of harry styles blogs that think they're very popular and cool harassed me about it. it was awful for weeks. i basically couldn't go online without having a panic attack. anyways, it's that same group.

all they do is talk about how much they think niall is a copy and paste of harry or that he isn't marketable or that he can't pick singles or that he pushes his streams and charts too much. all while claiming they don't care about him and hate him or whatever. they say all these things that simply aren't true. harry didn't "create" marketing campaigns on websites, neither did niall! however, niall's last album was marketed through a website and videos everyday and all this. harry isn't original in his techniques, the difference is that his following is so insane that they will do every single marketing thing for him. he doesn't need a team of people to do it. these fans are so insane that they are doing a job that people get paid to do. niall does his job! that's why he's telling people to stream and whatnot.

niall's songwriting is miles and miles better than harry's, but because of the way they think harry is the best at everything, they don't recognize that. niall started working with amy allen (a writer harry worked with on his last album) nearly six years ago, maybe even seven. she co-wrote my favorite niall horan song, to this day. like, they saw amy allen and tobias jesso jr and freaked out that niall was copying harry, as if niall isn't also a songwriter in the industry. like .. i genuinely am so sick of this conversation! (i also would compare niall's songwriting in depth and meaning to matty's, which is why i love it so much)

it's also very fucking annoying that harry stans have created this whole culture around going to concerts and liking artists that is so toxic and annoying that i can't stand it. like, half of the people at niall's pop up shop today weren't even singing his songs, they were singing the harry songs that were on the playlist. or the way all these harry stans are suddenly talking about niall on tiktok to get clout or merch or whatever it is. i've literally been a niall fan or whatever since the very beginning of one direction, i followed him on tour way back when, he's the reason i love live music and want to work in touring. i love harry, i do, i've gone to his shows plenty of times and talk about him and have a blog and a story, i'm not saying anything bad really about him, but it's so frustrating to see how people treat other artists just compared to harry styles and i literally am getting so annoyed every day.

I've noticed a thing on tiktok that I would like to discuss. I've seen a lot of people in alternative subcultures saying that goth, punk and skinheads, metal, emo, etc. aren't racist because of the Jamaican immigrants and Screamin Jay Hawkins and leftist politics. Yet there are so many bands and musicians that have/are currently participating in cultural appropriation and blatant racism. So many people of color including myself has experienced racism from white alternative people yet somehow the worst thing to be is a bully. They can go on and on about how insulting it is that the people who bullied them for their clothes and music are now liking it because it's popular online and therefore should be more gatekeeping yet refuse to acknowledge the gatekeeping they did to the people of color in my experience black people in the subculture. Not only have i experienced it but my dad has as well. And when other people bring up bands and musicians cultural appropriation, use of slurs, and being racist it's "cancel culture" and they have apologized or that it doesn't matter. Yet it does it always has. It's a conversation that has always happened in black households yet the term of cultural appropriation is new, the conversation isn't. What pisses me off the most is how people in the scene complain about people who bullied them but not the racists. Like idk maybe the reason some of y'all were bullied and isolated as a youth was because you were racist. Every time you sit there with dirty looks when black people exist in the same space, the "do you really like this music, i assume you listen to rap?", and the anger of rap and "rap fans" in festival lineups. If y'all actually "beat up" white supremacists in the subculture and they're unwelcomed, then why is there a lot of white supremacists still? Why have I met so many people of color in the scene who have experienced racism yet no white person in the scene who is racist? There is no place for forgiveness for bullies yet there is for racists, which is why a lot of people don't take your social activism seriously. A lot of black people like the music but don't say anything because y'all are fucking racist. Like shut up for 5 seconds and actually think about what it is you stand for.

alright. This is gonna be a long ass post and might need different parts because is 3 am.

So. Things have changed since 2020. Things changed during 2020. But what I wanna talk about is people. Everywhere- not just one site or app. Everywhere, but also mainly Tiktok. The internet is so toxic now I would take the old warrior cats fandom back. Fandoms is a whole other topic... they used to be fun. Actually fun. Fansongs and covers and fanart and mainly just chilling. Now? Not really fansongs. The ones that DO exist are TLT or 0r30. Just channels known for songs, but not really any covers anymore? And AI does NOT COUNT. I'm talking people singing songs and explaining lore or about something sad in the story. Broadway karkat, for example. A lot of people on Tumblr probably know what that is. They were fun. They hit the notes. People call it "cringe," but they were having fun. We were having fun. Shitty lady gaga covers and all whatnot they made for shits and giggles. Yes, RCTA and tiktok ragebait is bad. Especially Meowbahh. But we need to burn that bitch at the STAKE. Anyway, everyone is so basic nowadays it's hard to say that I like anything. "I love pancakes they're yummy" "What about waffles? Wow. You hate waffles." I hate that. I hate waffles. I hate how everywhere is Twitter now. Why are we arguing. We all have skin, we all bleed, we all talk and think and do human things. Are we not alike enough to stop hatred? Why is everyone so basic now? Not even the middle schoolers are having phases. Those are important, dude. Honestly those end of being a core of who you are and who you will be. But everyone is a "wassup gng" or "haii :3". No one seems different anymore. No one is colorful or THEMSELVES. You get fatshamed, called "cringe," or bullied off the internet, or all three. What is cringe about someone showing what they love? I think it happened mostly in 2020 when basic (popular) kids joined fandoms and bullied weird kids for liking their stuff, and also because ppl decided 2020 was so bad it was time to be normal??? Idk.

Another thing is styles and subcultures. The main one is Emo. Wearing black js not emo. Being sad is not emo. Grunge, goth, punk, scene is not emo. Heavy on the grunge and punk. That is NOT emo. No side part bangs or band tees or belts. They are different things. Scenecore and scene is a different story, but even those are different. Clean goth is not a thing. Goth is makeup with black clothes and also political views I'm pretty sure. Stop making fun of babybats. You were one. Y2k is 2000s clothes. Skinny jeans, rhinestone, layered shirts. If you want a reference, look at class of 09. It's close enough. Mainly most of this comes from tiktok. Just look on there. It's hell.

My last topic is music. It's all gone to shit these days. What did we do wrong? I think they got less hyped up, and more repetitive, but idrk. 2000s-2010s music absolutely bangs, so what the fuck happened? What is going on? Why are we all turned against each other? Why are we so focused on being sad? Anyway, that's all for now.

Why do people enjoy reading about band members fucking each other?

i feel like that's a very limited and frankly boring way to look at fanfiction as a medium.

i also feel like younger fans, or those without much knowledge about fan culture, really underestimate the role fanfiction plays in cultivating the fan spaces they enjoy so much. queer fiction being written and shared dates back to the 70s and star trek, if i'm not mistaken, where people would pass around physical copies of fics through fanzines at conventions.

creation is at the heart of fandom, whether that be the silly compilation videos you see on youtube and tiktok from talented editors, the wonderful gifmakers here on tumblr, or the writers.

why do people enjoy reading anything? what separates 'regular' fiction from fanfiction in terms of morality of readers and writers? a lot of my favorite fics, and i would say the most popular fics within fandom, are all extremely transformative works. they're set in universities, they're set all over the world, jungkook is literally spiderman in one of the ones i linked lmao. the people being written about basically serve as face characters at that point.

idk man. i just think the bad reputation that fanfiction has acquired is really sad. so many fan spaces would die without creators keeping it alive with content for us to consume outside of the original source material. so many writers cut their teeth on fanfiction (*allegedly* the author of red, white, and royal blue used to write fanfiction about jesse eisenberg and andrew garfield during the height of 'the social network's popularity, and there is now a popular movie based on their novel!)

and finally, none of the fics i linked even feature any sex scenes — but i also wouldn't care if they did because i don't hold any puritanical views on the subject, lol. i don't see erotica as some kind of gross, immoral thing. but i am not the god of moral opinions - if it's not for you, it's not for you~

if you have some qualms about RPF being written and consumed, that's understandable and it's a nuanced topic. but i think a lot of the arguments against fanfiction are often subconsciously in bad faith, looking down on something largely written by queer young women telling queer stories. that's alllll.

i‘ve been trying to get into ghost for years but idk where to start pls help -ts anon

*cracks knuckles* i am so glad you asked bestie

I would honestly start by focusing on the music because they are, after all, a band. i think a lot of people tend to get either confused or intimidated by the lore surrounding the members and the storylines that go on from one album release to the next, so it's easiest to start with the roots of it and worry about the rest later (i think). but once you pick apart the themes of the different albums themselves, i think you kind of naturally fall into the lore of the band by default. so when in doubt, start with the music

i started off with meliora, which i think is their most popular album?? (but i'm not sure it could have changed since tbh). it's a good mix of heavy metal and more pop rock, and most people at least know the song square hammer from it. the story of the album is about religious apathy when there is no presence of a god, and the band introduce themselves as a guiding hand of hope in those kind of bleak times. which is why i think it's good as an introduction to the band- you have a band with lore where the members are supposed to be a satanic church, so here's an album introducing them as exactly that, an anti-church.

from there you can do what I did and backtrack through their first two albums, which are heavier and deal with themes of the antichrist. or you can go on to their fourth album, and my absolute favorite, prequelle. it's a concept about the apocalypse, equating it to the times of the black death, and it's quite honestly a no-skips album for me. it has two of thee best instrumental numbers i've ever heard in my entire life, and it'll also have you shaking your ass to the words "while you sleep in earthly delight someone's flesh is rotting tonight" so that's fun.

then there's their most recent album, impera, which includes the song from the halloween kills soundtrack (hunter's moon), and i would describe its theme as being like a post-apocalyptic steampunk future after the fall of an empire?? i have to be honest i haven't deep dived into it yet, that's just what i gathered from listening to it lol

i'll also admit that for as much as a fan as I am, I have no IDEA what we are calling the nameless ghouls anymore or how to differentiate them. like i know they're identified based on their instruments and occasionally their uniforms (meliora era had only four of them if i remember correctly and they each had a different symbol highlighted on their costume but idk what we're going with anymore there's so much). i tend to focus mostly on papa emeritus (number whichever) in any era for the most crucial bits of lore info. there used to be a post floating around with a crash course on the different papas, but idk where it is now rip

and, if you're interested in that one song everyone knows from tiktok, mary on a cross, that is from their ep seven inches of satanic panic. it was basically them going "lmao what if papas 1, 2, and 3's dad was papa 0 and started the band ghost in the 1960s and this was their first single, how sick would that be." that's why both songs off of it sound very heavily influenced by bands like the doors and donovan, it's basically meant to be from the late 60s.

summary: fred and y/n are in a popular band together, and they're dating. the ships get too much and they have to tell their fans. but during an interview someone questions y/n about her racist family. but luckily fred is there for her, her hero. her lover boy.

song prompt 2: lvr boy - awfultune (i have to be honest i didn't really stick too much to it, but i had this idea so we are gonna go with it.

a/n: this is a modern au- the band is kinda supposed to give maneskin vibes but idk, although lvr boy isn't the best example of that-

toujours pur. one of the most popular bands globally, they were so frequently spoken about by all age groups, and just all people to be honest. they really were great. there music varied so much in genre, there was always something for everybody. the bandmates where what really made people love the band- on top of their killer vocals and riffs and just talent in general, their interviews, their youtube videos, their instagram lives, all of it made the public see what amazing people they truly were. fred weasley (lead guitarist) george weasley (rythm guitarist) y/n black (lead vocalist and ukulele player) harry potter (bass player) hermione granger (pianist) ron weasley (drummer) ginny weasley (acoustic guitarist). that summed up to a lot of gingers and a lot of talent. after endless obliviousness and shipping, ron and hermione finally got together- much to the fandoms satisfaction. harry and ginny were frequently shipped, but once ginny came out they started shipping her with luna, a known friend of the band. it was fun to both y/n and fred at first, all their friends were being almost nagged to get with the people they so obviously liked. it wasn't a safely guarded secret that fred and y/n were an item, they just never directly stated it. i mean what was the point? they loved each other, why vocalize it to the world? but then it happened. the tweets, the instagram posts, the tiktoks, every social media platform had to know if the hand holding, the cheek kisses, the 'i love you's', and the loving looks were all just out of friendship- or something much more. it was still fun initially, watching people try and figure out their relationship, but then it was brought into the interviews and the livestreams.

"why don't you guys just tell them? its so obvious anyway, and it's not like your hiding it." george asked after the band attempted a livestream, but ended it when the only comments were about fred and y/n. "why is it their business?" she responded softly. she wasn't wrong, but everyone except fred was still confused. "we know it's not. but come on, we're not gonna force you to do anything you're not comfortable with but it would stop all of that" ginny said, pointing to the livestream set up they have at the end of her sentence. fred and y/n knew they were right, but they were so comfortable how they were, they didn't want their relationship to be completely demolished. it was the last thing they wanted. and the last thing that either of them saw coming, but they were still cautious. "we have a couple interviews tomorrow, tell them or don't tell them. but it would be a good chance." both of them instantly knew what the other was thinking. the time has come. they're gonna tell them.

the next day were all sitting in front of an interviewer, and then another one, and then another one. and finally this one. "so, i know your name has never really been spoken about" the interviewer said, the band nodded "so what's with the band name?" everyone looked at y/n. she chuckled slightly and started explaining "so most of my family, not good people. they were pretty commonly associated with a racist organisation. like i said, not good people. well they have this family tree, personally i've only seen it once. me and my dad don't go to the family home often. it gives us the heebie geebies and they hate us. well anyway, the family tree says toujours pur, always pure. so i thought i'd mock them and suggested it as a band name. trust me, i've received many a message about it. they aren't happy." everyone chuckled, if y/n was one thing it was spiteful. "so just out of interest, has the band received any backlash about your family?" the entire band shifted in their seats, if there was one thing y/n rarely talked about it was her family. and fred was preparing to go into protective boyfriend mode. she shook her head "um, no not really." the guy looked somewhat hurt "oh. so racist family isn't something your fans have a problem with?" ok this guy was obviously being bitter, but before fred could say anything y/n jumped in "family by blood. not by nature. the only thing that correlates me with them is dna, and clearly they drew the short straw because they're missing some necessary brain cells. i'm not my 'family'. so no. i don't get backlash for something people who i've only ever had one conversation with did." the rest of the interview was very awkward. like, very.

"ok one last one and then we're done for the day" lily (their self appointed manager- not that anyone minded, she was a life saver) said, sending a sympathetic smile to y/n "i'm not doing it." everyone frowned, but understood somewhat. "y/n/n, love, one more. we'll tell them we're shagging like they want and then bounce" that made her chuckle, he always managed to that "lovely description of our relationship dear" everyone started laughing at the two. "ok. but if one more thing gets said about the fucking black family i swear to shit i will start throwing things."

the last interview was a lot more smooth. especially when fred held y/n's hand the entire time. that didn't go unnoticed by the interviewer, who commented on it a few minutes after she sat down. "so, fred and y/n. i know you to are" she paused and cleared her throat, whilst looking at their hands "close. and i know you're probably sick of hearing this but, what are you?" they chuckled a little "um... we're sorta dating" the interviewer smiled, and so did fred and y/n. it felt good to say it out loud. "i have to ask you, really quickly. is fred weasley your lover boy?" she asked, referencing their latest single "lvr boy". it was well known that y/n wrote the majority of their songs- specifically the slower bedroom artist vibe songs. y/n nodded sheepishly, never actually admitting that directly to the group no matter how obvious. "my room mate now owes me a tenner, thank you" everyone laughed, this was ok. she was ok.

"i'm sorry about earlier, love." she sighed "it's ok." he shrugged "no it's not. that was fucked up" both of their features softened "i was ok. i am ok. because you were there. and because you're here." they kissed "y'know 'm sorry bout your name. i know people give you shit for it" she pecked his lips again "don't worry about it." he shook his head "why didn't your dad take remus's name?" they both looked at each other "cause a name shouldn't be a burden. and with the person yuo love, it eases it all y'know. they don't care when they have each other." he smiled "can't wait till you have my name" he didn't mean to say it, panic evident in his eyes she smiled a genuinely happy smile "me neither" and she put her head in his chest.

he was her lover boy.

he owned her heart.

he owned her heart like no one else did.

she was always his.
