the best friend’s brother!satoru fic that i’m planning on posting next….. i’m . Unsure if i’ll have time to post it this week but :’3 i’ll get it done!!! honestly i just think bfb!toru is insanely attractive so this is mostly an outlet for that but . i have a plot mapped out kind of… the unrequited love trope is just perfect for him but it’s Me so it’ll probably be less angsty and more funny/bittersweet !!

(i know, you want to tell him, but your voice is raspy and your throat feels sort of dry. i know. but i want you.)

my neglected mer!sugu fic…… our beloved fish man….. one day. i’ll write it out. i’m having some trouble deciding the order of events + general formatting of the outline so 😭😭 i’m a bit stuck. i’ll get there though!!! this au has angst potential but it’s Me so trust that this will be fluffy and nothing else. lots of banter and cutesy moments. i have a lotttt of thoughts about this au and character/reader dynamic so….. i’m. really excited to eventually write it all out!!! i love him sm :cc

THE BELOVEDEST OF THEM ALL …… my extremely neglected best friend’s brother!kenjaku fic T_T my magnum opus even . i started writing it out a while ago but had to stop bc i can’t decide how to format it …. i think it’d be best to tell the story through a lot of flashbacks but it’s difficult to decide where to put what flashbacks in a way that doesn’t disturb the flow, yk??? but i do have everything outlined and i’m super excited to finally post it :33 someday… bfb!kenny is the actual loml i have so much lore planned for him. this fic is just a whole bunch of yearning and tension… the tiniest tiniest bit suggestive bc he truly makes me ill.

nervously, your gaze trails towards the stairs. worried, your teeth gnawing at your bottom lip. kenjaku notices. a large palm cradles your cheek; making sure your eyes stay locked onto his own. ”don't worry about him,” he soothes, a rough thumb smoothing down your skin. ”it’s just us here… just you and me. why don’t you take a deep breath for me, hm?” (you do. without thinking. as if your body was waiting for instructions, waiting to satiate this gnawing desire to impress him, make him proud. be good for him.)  “now,” he exhales, in tandem with you, molecules mingling together. “do you want this?”

ANOTHER DEARLY BELOVED WIP that’s been rotting in my drafts for a while ….. 👉👈 i think that out of all of these fics this is the first one that i wrote the outline to?? probably even before i made this blog. it’s basically just a canon-aligned au where gojo navigates his maybe-possibly-feelings for you, a new teacher at jujutsu high!! sooo really just my attempt to write what i view as a more canon-aligned gojo and his feelings towards love :3 mostly character-centered fluff and slowburn… some office au vibes…. i’m very fond of this reader!! and i love this version of gojo so bad i really hope i can do him justice…

“they’re a softie, huh?” shoko exhales — smoke drifting past her lungs, mingling with the cold air, a stench of tobacco that makes him crinkle his nose. ”they are,” she hums, glancing at him out of the corner of her eye. a dangerously knowing look. “it’s not often someone captures your attention.” gojo smiles. ”is that what it seems like?” he drawls, almost a chuckle. closing his eyes and thinking of you, the fading scent of your perfume. ”well, who knows.” (certainly not him.)

my sickeningly fluffy cult leader geto fic <333 bc i’m spreading the agenda that he is a puppy of a man towards his s/o. this one is just meant to be funny and sweet!! i adoreee the thought of him dating a retired sorcerer with a normal ass job so in this one the reader works at a preschool…. and they’re meant to attend some kind of event for the preschool + is offered to bring a plus one. mild chaos ensues (geto doesn’t want to be anywhere near your non-sorcerer colleagues but he also wants to support you so he’s having a bit of a crisis rn…..) i LOVE this one and i’m so excited to write it out <333333 i think this geto is the most endearing man alive.

suguru blinks, eyelashes fluttering, gleaming under the shallow light of the lamppost just behind him. illuminating the peach-dyed flush dusting his ears, those wide pupils. and his lips, glossy with something cherry-flavoured, soon to curl up into a smile — fond, fond, fond. melting into your touch, basking in your long-sought attention. if he were a cat, you’re sure he'd be purring. he places one big palm over yours, where it rests on his cheek, and he stares. silently, like you’re the only thing worth seeing; dreamy galaxies inside his eyes, all honey and star clusters, leaking adoration. a milky way of love. ”… another,” he pleads, nosing at your fingertips.

MAKING A CASE FOR GREGORY TO BE EVERYONE'S FAVOURITE BRIDGERTON.

(Jk, this is just an excuse, like who you want)

Is he my favourite?

Yes.

Why?

Well......

1. He wants love.

From the start of the book, we are made aware that he has nothing going on and genuinely wants to find love like his siblings.

2. Friends over food.

The way he meets Lucy is him falling in love with Hermonie Watson(👀) and asking Lucy to dance. She pities him enough to carry him to eat because he showed up late and had to go mingle. Basically, they become acquaintances and friends once they decide to set up Gregory with Hermonie.

3. Bro is in love with Kate.

One of the funnier themes in the book is that he goes from saying something he loves about Kate and then compares it to something Lucy does.

4. Alcohol.

He keeps stealing and drinking Anthony's alcohol.

5. Fist fights.

He fights Lucy's brother, Richard, after compromising Hermonie (deserved, earned).

6. The first time they kiss.

I kid you not, I was in shock, tears almost and the energy after this moment never changes. Like genuinely at any point they would've been wed to each other had one person saw them but what makes if crazier is that the only reason it stopped was because Lucy was engaged and she remembered before it escalated

7. Making it everyone's problem.

After he realises he loves her, he makes it everyone's problem. From comparing her to Francesca to embarrassing Violet publicly , even roping Hyacinth in on hijinks, his story is a family event.

8. The Second time they kiss.

Hyacinth is in the other room, they are in Daphne's home and he has orchestrated a plan to propose to her in a closet.

9. They sleep with each other.

To the TSPWL and WHWW girls, step aside for a moment. Gregory breaks into his unofficial fiancé's home in the dead of night, goes to her room, and is eventually seduced by her. They proceed to sleep together, THE DAY BEFORE HER WEDDING TO ANOTHER MAN. They do so three times holding each other, then sleeping together and so on. She's doing it under false pretences because she isn't going to marry him atp.

10. A love like Violet and Edmund's.

They break the Bridgerton record for most kids. At the time of the epilogue, they have 7 kids and are expecting the 8th, they have twins and end up with 9. It's to the point where the pregnancy impacts Lucy and Gregory let's us know that the amount of kids they have is genuinely due to their lack of restraint.

11. They name their kids after their siblings.

Lucy actually gets to name one after her best friend, but there is a little Daphne and Anthony running around. Also a Kate.

12. Guns.

There is a gun stand off.

13. Kidnapping.

Gregory breaks the law, again.

14. Gay.

Lucy is pinning over Hermione during the first half, her fiance is gay, the uncle never marries......

15. 9 CHILDREN.

I don't want to understate the fact that they have 9 kids in less than 20 years. It was never that serious. She is 33 when they have their last kid. He's 39. They met at 18 and 24 respectively. 9 kids in 15 years.

16. LUCY MY LOVE

Me 🫂 Gregory.

She's darling. Throughout the narrative, it's just her making sacrifices for everyone she loves. For her brother, her best friend, even Gregory, it's consistantly her trying.

Last book: I'm currently (slowly) reading Vol. 5 of The Case Files of Jeweler Richard which I am VERY attached to. Non LN/Manga was an Emily Dickinson collection I think? I have so many things I want to read and not enough time.

Last movie: I rewatched Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron the other day while doing something else. Before that I have no clue at all... I'm so bad at movies.

Last TV show: I rewatched the Tsuioku Selection Element OVA and I'm probably 1 external stressor away from watching it again tbh.

Sweet/Savory/Spicy: Sweet but I love spicy and food in general. I had a creme filled croissant yesterday and I've been thinking about it all day. I really want to make a torta caprese the next time I manage to bake something.

Last thing I searched online: I was trying to see if that pastry had a specific name, but I couldn't find anything. I did however find something that was apparently a fad a few years ago, which was a Suprême croissant. I REALLY did not need to know this existed. I want one very badly.

Current obsession: I'm in between things right now which is making me crazy. Ensemble stars is always there, but I don't engage with other fans much, which makes it just me pacing my enclosure. I am VERY stressed for Altered coming this April. I've been playing a few things for months/years (Umineko included! Which I love but my file got deleted trying to play another VN that bricked my device 😭 I was on Episode 4) that I really just want to finish already! But they are so long. I've been thinking about revisiting old things I loved in between trying to find a new flame...

🥺🥺🥺 ahh thank you so much anon, you’re too sweet!!!! i had plenty of writing inspo back when i was starting out (and still now), personally i don’t think you can reach a signature style at all without reading other works!!! (even now i sometimes wonder if my writing voice is rlly that distinctive or not……)

my main source of writing inspo has always been disco elysium!!! :3 it’s a video game but mostlyyyy made up of writing, and it’s . my favorite thing ever ever ever …. can’t explain how much it means to me and how much it’s changed me as a person And as a writer !!!!! so i will always recommend it more than anything 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️ richard siken’s poetry is another huge inspo source for me though !!!! and honestly i really do believe you only get better at writing by reading a bunch of other works, fanfics or books, etcetc, and sort of making a patchwork of everything you loved about them . to write you need to read!!!!

as for descriptions, the only advice i’ve really managed to come up with is to dissect whatever you’re writing about!!!! whether it’s an action, a setting, a feeling, an object, etcetcetc. picture the scene in your mind and then zero in on even the smallest details. it’ll feel natural the more you do it!!! another trick is to remember to always include all senses (hearing, touch, smell, taste), not just sight!!! it’ll make your settings feel a lot more alive :3 but yeah!!! with descriptions it usually comes down to digging as deep as you can / dragging motions out.

oh hello welcome!!! so back in da day, i was working at an office instead of in my home. my office had these amazing mac desktops, full adobe set up, the works. i used to fuck around during work hours or even stay a little late playing on the programmes, especially premiere pro. that's why there are a couple original edits on my youtube (just dumb stuff, nothing thesis-worthy lol) — even though my main goal is just to upload all of catsdown on there hehe. i have photoshop on my laptop here at home, which is how i make gifs, but no premiere, and even though it's still possible to make edited videos, like, on imovie or something, idk anything about that and probably won't be making any edits for the time being. sorry about that!! but i will def be on the lookout for more richard x ingrid and will make more gifs!

there aren't actually that many moments because most of their "flirting" is just richard laughing the most and the longest at everything ingrid says (hehehehe) but i made this one for you anon!!

omg you guys are killing me hahahaha sam does have a slight(er) pucker when he talks, like donald trump, but he also has that thing where he doesn't open his mouth much to talk, like he's doing all of his talking behind his teeth without utilising them much; and he does have the downturned eyes like hugh grant but stronger. anyways—

��� ⇢ how did you get into writing fanfiction? honestly my first experience with writing fic was probably with the ranger's apprentice books and percy jackson but back then i'd just write stuff for myself bc i wasn't really aware of fandom as a sharing space. after that i'm bad at remembering things in the right order but i THINK my first time publishing anything was very inconsistent 5sos y/n stuff on wattpad LMFAO and by god did it do numbers! then i found ao3, probably, and became a haikyuu writer for a while. my BIG break into ficdom was with kpop rpf however (which, i think is somewhat common in mcyt fandom? lol?) i wrote kpop fic for yearssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss and that experience is what really made me love ficwriting i guess

❄️ ⇢ what's your dream theme/plot for a fic, and who would write it best? ohhh interesting question i actually don't think i have an answer? while i do have certain themes and plots im VERY fond of and think about consistently they're not necessarily things id like to see written, more of comfort ideas lol

🦴 ⇢ is there a piece of media that inspires your writing? YES, yes there are. a few, actually. there's 3 main pieces of media i pull inspiration from, somewhat consciously and CONSTANTLY.

(1) nora sakavic's the foxhole court trilogy. not only did this SHAPE ME AS A PERSON it also guides my writing style to this day. i read all three books in 8th grade or something and it changed me dude i carry the dialogue and the pacing with me still i KNOW the way i write things is the way it is today because of this woman

(2) richard siken's poetry <3 all of it influences me, but mostly the poems from 'crush'

(3) this is an insane thing to say but crimson rivers the 865k words the-hunger-games-au MARAUDERS fanfic . yes i am transgender it is my birthright to despise jkr as much as humanly possible but for as long as fanmade content is not profitable for that woman i will still tentatively interact with it. most of the characters on cr are barely IN the books either way its almost OC content and . it's good. it's really fucking good like i could never lie about this for a whole summer i was OBSESSIVELY reading and re-reading it!!!! the writing is actually so impressive to me and i think about it a lot more often than i probably should. most of all i take a lot of inspiration from the planning -- the foreshadowing and the attention to detail, how all 75 chapters of this thing tie in together at the end its really so fucking sick like you could not experience this through any other medium if not fanfiction
