Precis: metal sonic and reader sharing a hammock

Notes: Hey!! I'm so glad u went to me for this request and I had major fun making this and deciding what to do<33 I'm thinking of making angst hcs for metal sonic since I've gotten an idea!! We all know metal sonic tries so hard to be an organism anything other than a robot but what if he were using a relationship to act like one? He never really loved you and just used you to feel more animal like instead of smooth and cold metal. Does anyone else just get really tired when warm or hot? It's such a weird thing I have lmao

Metal sonic is a very weird case, a robot, but weirdly humane at the same time? It's like he tries so hard to be an organism while fully knowing he never will be anything other than a robot made to be a clone of sonic the hedgehog

Made by Dr Robotnik Eggman, he stayed so loyal it hurt to watch, watching as metal sonic destroys his non existent body and feelings each day to stay loyal to his creator

After you started working for Dr Eggman you got to meet metal

Your fascination with his behavior and the way he tried to act like a real human animal was evident with everyone

So to satiate that fascination, you got assigned to more missions with metal, but on special mission you were left extremely exhausted, metal sonic not so much due to his metal bones not being able to get tired

You two walked and walked, your shoes crunching the leaves and grass with each step as you two continue walking back

You felt like passing out from exhaustion, your body felt weary and limp, your bones sore and hurting

Feet hurting, shoes almost broken and your body limp from exhaustion, the robot next to you seemed to not be in the same predicament. Metal sonic couldn't get tired, he's a robot after all, but that didn't stop your fascination maybe infatuation for him. As you two walk around in the scolding heat, you spot a palm tree, the tree had enough shade and leaves to cool you down for a bit, but what really interested you was the hammock

Grabbing the robots metal hand, you take him with you to the palm tree, the metal on his hand having become hotter from the time outdoor in the burning sun

You let yourself fall back on the hammock, finally getting a break after a tough day, you prop up your feet against the strings of the hammock, fully stretching your body beforr making space for the robot

"Don't you also wanna rest in the shade? Your body could easily get hot in the sun" You ask, curiosity evident in your tone. It may seem silly, a robot resting, but it's cute and seems nice in your head. Metal sonic slowly walks over, not having a mouth to speak with really had its downsides, as he sits down his weights shifts the hammock a bit to his side

Getting used to the material of the hammock against his iron skin, he slowly lays down next to you

As time goes by, your eyes start feeling heavier, the leaves rustling in the wind lulling you to sleep, the heat didn't do much to help you keep your eyes awake. It's probably fine to go to sleep for a bit?

The robot picks up on your snores, looking to his side he finds you asleep, facing him with your head on his shoulder. Was it really ok for him to let you sleep? He decides against waking you, you've been working hard and deserve a break, he'll treat you to that break

Metal looks back up at the sky, the clouds slowly turning pink as the sun sets down, the sky had a strong orange hue and it was gonna be night when you go back on your way

It's best to sleep here

How did everyone get admitted in?

Psst, Lend me an ear: Psychiatric hospital AU!! This post is the intro and will tell you how everyone got admitted in and how you will be admitted in<33 You can be any species you want but I wrote this with a fawn/deer in mind I also won't include metal, Eggman, cream since she's the sanest person in the franchise, vanilla, charmy, big the cat, vector and a few more because I don't see a reason of how they could ever land in a psychiatric hospital plus some don't even take people who are 20 or over also I would like to say that more will come after the reader gets admitted

Sonic: sonic got admitted because his peers weren't able to keep up with how hyper he were which made them encourage him to seek a psychiatric hospital even though he didn't need it. He's the only one who hasn't seen anything bad yet but is also the only one who doesn't know about how bad it is here this dumbass is also the only one who technically didn't sign the rules and whenever he gets in trouble he throws that out just for him to be forced to sign them

Tails: he simply followed sonic cuz he was bullied and picked on without him he also thought it would be a good place to try and find himself. He's gotten a few suspicions because some of the girls who left in a week were talking about one of the older men who regularly had a shift being weird and trying to touch them. He actually signed the rules and read through them and still does sometimes

Amy: her heartbreak of sonic not reciprocating her feelings became too much to bear so she seeked help but was the first to realize that this place was basically hell and does not help in any way she also reads through the rules when she's bored and found some loopholes and stuff to spend time with

Knuckles: his anger issues caused him to lash out at the wrong person which made him get admitted in through an ambulance where he tried to run away but was taken back in. He knows this is a bad place and is regularly kept it the blue room/freak out room. Since he was admitted on a whim he never got to sign the rules nor has he read them

Shadow: the grief of losing Maria was too much for him so through Sonic's recommendation he came here and landed in the 2.1 trauma station with everyone else. He doesn't have any suspicions yet but is wary and alert of what might come. Just like tails he read and signed the rules

Kind, caring, understanding, compassionate and is always there for his friends

He goes by the rule of "no one gets left behind" that's just the type of guy he is

So it isn't a surprise when you two get together since he was bound to find love anyway

Now at the honeymoon phase of your relationship (first day to 2 months I think) he's a bit more shy cuz let's be real he's inexperienced

You'll have to take lead and initiate contact, reassure him that it's fine to hold you, plan most dates etc. But the more you two grow into the relationship, the comfortable he becomes with initiating contact and making more dates for the two of you

If you're not already familiar with his friends then you will be now!! He loves you hanging out with all of them as a group, it brings him joy knowing you get along with some of his favorite people

If his and his friends ever encounter an enemy or someone who poses a real threat to the safety of him and his friends, he tells you to go home or brings you to a safe place himself (if the enemy isn't targeting him)

Again with the bad guys, they always take up yugis time so he doesn't have a lot of time but he'll make every second with you count

Ice cream, walk in the parks, picnics are his go to date ideas when he has enough time for a proper date

His words are always coated full of sugary sweetness, he's a real poet when it comes to telling you how pretty you are

Ik most of y'all are insecure so if he ever found out he'd give you a college presentation of why you're not ugly but he stops when you tell him it's more of a mental state

He's all in all one of the sweetest boyfriends you'll ever get tbh never underestimate what this man will do for you

Psst, lend me an ear: don't worry about that haha it's easy to miss stuf especially cuz I wrote sm anyway I had a lot of fun making this and I hope u also have as much fun reading it!! I did get a bit uncreative with this because of some stuff as of recent though (T-T)

Domestic violence call, arresting up a drunk person and locking them up

Your day was pretty normal until you got signed to a case where most of the station was going

Apparently, there was a guy who was holding a girl hostage at knife point to... Challenge a dueler to a rematch?

Your head turns to the side, your co-worker driving the car. He looks back at you, laughing to himself st the absurdity of the situation

It wasn't everyday you came across such an absurd situation (maybe yugi does but wtv) the car suddenly stops. Gripping the front of the car, you lessen your blow, you look at your coworker before you two got out of the car

A few other police officers were stationed around to look for the girl, soon you and your team find the deck they were playing at

The duel conveniently ends just as you all walk up to the deck, your coworkers whisper as some TO's even contribute. The guy holding the girl hostage had this crazy look on his face, his hair was spiky and white

The girl seemed taller than the guy, having brown short hair in a Bob like cut. The guy, who everyone was screaming/calling him marik, was telling the shorter boy to hand over a.. Puzzle. How absurd can this get? It's just a puzzle, no need to crash out

Your right hand reaches for the gun, your hand ghosting it as you slowly walk closer to him

The guy walks back a bit with the girl still in a chokehold

"One step further and I'll cut her vocal cords out!" He threatened, the bystanders, concluding of a Kaiba brother, a blonde haired guy, another tall guy with brown hair and a shit haircut (Tristan you're cool and all but that cut is horrendous)

Your co workers held up their gun, ready for anything that may happen

"You'd get arrested anyway, you've got up to 4 bystanders, a whole team of cops, but you only have one knife and a scrawny build that couldn't hurt a fly"

He thinks for a moment, looking shocked at your little jab

The girl looked at you with a mix of fear and a pleading face not to anger him, some bystanders looked in awe of you and some more surprised

"Even if you do kill her, you're cornered. You could jump into the ocean behind you but you would have to come back sooner or later where we will arrest you" he looks around in anger, the annoying woman was right, the amount of cops and bystanders at the scene were too many to handle

Marik let's the girl go, she almost falls to her knees in relief and shock. You quickly grab the girl and bring her to the car, needing to question her. Tea, as everyone called her, was swarmed by her friends who ask her many "are you okay?" And "did he hurt you?" You look back at marik getting arrested.

You look in a pocket and face the group, handing them each a card with your number and name on it, you could tell the girl was shaken and would be scared alone, or maybe another conflict happens because of this game. It was better to be safe then sorry

They all grab the card, yugi and tea hug you, thanking you a bunch for what you did

We all know how stupid Joey can be, I was used to the German dub and heard there were many differences in dubs so idk if it's different somewhere else

Joey first met up with you at a cafe to talk in private, he introduced himself and you two hit it off right away

His charming and funny personality felt so refreshing especially after chaos at work

About work, he's actually pretty invested and interested in what you do for work

He's always there to comfort you if you lose someone or weren't able to help a person

It was hard not to with how kind he can be! So, with recommendation from Tristan

He takes you out to an ice cream place and confessed his love to you

Your police department assigned you to help be a bodyguard to seto ever since the incident, for his request

You got to meet his brother and were able to become closer with him, much to setos dismay

Even mokuba becomes aware of his brothers feelings, he was hiding it so bad. The short glances, money for you, calling you over more frequently etc. It was so painfully obvious

Mokuba tries his best to push you two together, to no avail though. Seto is a cold man so he doesn't try to accept his feelings or even acknowledge them at all

If seto does accept them(which would definitely take a while) he knows he won't be able to confess straight to you, so he leaves a letter in your bag with a date and time to meet him

He'd definitely take you out to a dinner and only answer any questions about the letter after the date

He'll also definitely have a rose ready for you to take
